Pinwheel when using applications

I have recently installed 6 Mac Mini's in our offices and I'm having trouble with one of them. It doesn't wake properly after idle or sleep. I can't use any applications. I've had it evaluated at my local Apple Store and they kept it for days and couldn't figure out the problem. I had them uninstall and reinstall the OS (which is Mavericks) and picked it up today. Within the first 2 hours of use; I experienced the never-ending rainbow pinwheel while using Numbers. This is the first time the computer stopped working while in use. There was nothing I could do except for a hard shutdown (holding power button in on mini). The Apple Store is giving me a lot of trouble saying that it must be my environment but I do not agree. How can it be my environment when I have other mini's working perfectly with no issues?
Please help or point me to a manager or someone that can help me. Again, mini just purchased in May, 2014.

We are just other user's here like yourself and can only make suggestions like trying a different Apple Store or asking for a manager at the store you took it to.
In the mean time, run the Apple Hardware Test as per > Using Apple Diagnostics to see if you have a RAM or other hardware problem. If the Hardware Test reports a problem, then at least you have some proof to act upon.

Error when using Application Designer to logon

Good day experts,
I have just installed PeopleSoft 8.51 on the server, and have just configured the PSADMIN. When I tried to logon using Application Designer in 3-tier mode, I got an error as follows
"An error occurred on the application server within Tuxedo while returning the service GetCertificate. Cancel the current operation and retry. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator"
I have retraced my steps and it was installed as per the installation guide, and I cannot find any cases that address this issue.
Can someone shine some lights on this error?

I have solved this issue. What's happened was that I was using Oracle Tuxedo 11gR1 which is not supported by PT8.51. Uninstalled 11gR1 and installed 10gR3, and everything is working fine now.

ive downloaded some free applications on to my iphone lie (facebook, myspace, webmessenger) when actually usually the applications does that use the usage that i get monthly how does it work.

As Tamara mentioned, any application that involves access to the Internet to function (and all the applications you mentioned do require Internet access), you are using the phone carrier's data network.
Since I'm in the U.S. I'm not familiar with the data plans for the carrier in Australia. If your phone plan does not include unlimited data or it has a monthly limit before you are charge extra, your best option is to use WiFi instead of the cellular data network when you're using those applications. If you have WiFi enabled and you are connected to a trusted network (your own or a commercial WiFi hotspot), the iPhone will receive and send data via WiFi. Any data that travels over WiFi will not be reflected in your cellular data plan. Some commercial hotspots have their own charges to join their network, so check with the staff of the location providing the WiFi access for information on how to join their network and what charges may apply.

Portal Favorites when using Application Integration

Hi,
We have implemented application integration for BW for rendering reports and display in portal. We have BI Java portal where the reports run and user portal where the rendered report gets diplayed. This has been achieved through Application Integration for BI Java.
When the user saves the report, its getting saved on BI Java Portal Favorites. So the user is not able to see it. To resolve this we have followed the below steps:
1. Created a remote iView in user portal which points to the Portal Favorites iView in BI Java portal -- using this we are able to see the user saved favorites in user portal
2. Renamed the BEx Web(ID:bex) iView in user portal and created a remote bex iView which points to the BEx Web iView in BI Java portal - When I preview it, it displays the prototype properly
Now when I click on the favorite links, those reports were not running. Only the bex prototype page is coming up.
When a report is saved its bookmarkId is saved on KM user account in BI Java portal. From there I took the bookmarkId and added to 'application parameters' property value for bex remote iView in user portal. This made the report to run on BI Java and render the report on user portal. But when I click on the favorites link in user portal, it is not running the report.
Does someone has any suggestion on this.

I was able to resolve this by creating a remote iView in user portal for the Portal Favorites iView from BI Java portal. And the remote iView created for the bex, we changed one iView property ‘Parameters Forwarded to Remote Application’ to ‘*’ which resolved the issue.

MBeanServer Error when using Application Server Connection

I am using Version 10.1.3.3.04157 of JDeveloper and Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1.0.
When I try to test my "Application Server Connection" the following error occurs:
"Error while getting remote MBeanServer for url: ormi://localhost:6003/default:
Error reading application-client descriptor: Error communicating with server: Disconnected; nested exception is:
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Disconnected [Root exception is java.io.EOFException: Disconnected]"

Hello. Is there a way to OC4J use the exactly log path setted in orion-application.xml ? I mean, I edited orion-application.xml to something like

but when I start server, I have my log saved in C:/apps/MyOC4JInstance_default_island_1/myApp.log instead of C:/apps/myApp.log.

For XI r2, try turning off DEP. It could have something to do with XI r2 runtime not being compiled with the /NX switch
Try running the app pool in u201CClassicu201D mode rather than u201CIntegratedu201D mode for CR XI r2 or CR 2008.
If it is permissions, try running processmon to see where the access issue is occurring. ProcMon can be downloaded from here:

Error code 0x645(1605) when using application supersedence

I've created a new version of an application that supersedes the previous version. I'd like the new version to uninstall the previous version, as otherwise it will install alongside it. Each version has a different MSI product code.
I created the application for the new version along with the supersedence rule, setting it to uninstall the previous version. I then set up a test VM with the old application and tried to install the new one via the Application Catalog. However, when the
Software Center begins the installation and tries to remove the old version, it fails with: "The software change returned error code 0x645(1605)"
I verified that the uninstall string for the old version is correct: I can even manually run it on the VM and it begins to uninstall the old version. I thought that 1605 indicated that the product that's trying to be removed is not present, but since the
uninstall string works I'm not certain what exactly is going on.
Any help that can be offered would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for responding so quickly! I ran it manually and the new version of the program installs ok. I used the same command line that I specified in the MSI deployment type (and there's only the one deployment type). So it seems that the error occurs when
SCCM implements the supersedence rule and tries to uninstall the old version.
I checked Event Viewer and I see two entries for when the program is attempting to uninstall, but they are simply the entries that say "beginning a windows installer transaction" and "ending a windows installer transaction." There's no error in Event Viewer.
The entries feature the MSI product code of the product; if I copy that product code and run msiexec /x with it, it uninstalls.

Bug when using applications when the screen is locked

i've got a problem when i updated iOS from 8.0.
When i want to open camera and another applications in control centre my iphone with iOS 8.1.3 at first switch application on and than my screen become fully dark.
I fix it by restarting, but then after some time the problem make again.
How can i fix this?
And when do apple fix it?

There is a sensor on the phone that, during a phone call, turns the screen off when you hold it to your face. If your screen is turning off you are either holding it to your face to trigger the sensor or the sensor itself may be bad.
If the screen goes black without holding it to your face try to reset:
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears
If that does not resolve the issue you can determine if it is a software problem by restoring your phone
as a new device.
Restoring iOS Software
If this does not resolve the problem there is a problem with the sensor itself and you will need to schedule a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple for a repair.

Error when using Application Loader

When I try to upload my app to with the application loader I get this message:
In iTunes Connect, Newsstand is enabled for your app version. The Info.plist must include UINewsstandApp=true and a CFBundleIcons.UINewsstandIcon dictionary must be specified.
I'm submitting Multi-folio.

Application crashes when using JNI with Jdk 1,2, 1.3 and 1.4

I have this application that has a GUI written in Java and a file parser written in C. JNI is used to connect these parts together. The problem is that the application only works when I am using jdk 1.1.8 but not when using jdk1.2, jdk1.3 or jdk1.4. I am running the application on a Solaris 8 machine.
I have not written the application myself but I am going to be working with it from now on. But I have today little knowledge with JNI and I have tried different approaches to solve the problem. For example I have tried to used DDD together with GDB to find out what the problem is but with no luck. When I run the application using jdk1.4 I get the following error when the JVM crashes:

From this information I think that the problem should be in the native method setDebug. But I have tried to set a breakpoint at the beginning of that function in the C part but with no luck. The application crashes before it reaches that position in the C file.
What could possibly go wrong between the setDebug function in the C part and the function call in the Java part?
When using GDB, GDB cannot figure out what is wrong it just returns a hex address, no function name.
I would really appreciate some help. I have tried everything that I can come up with!

I have figured out that the application fails on its first call to the native methods.
So I have this Bitmap class that contains all the native calls and it is defined shortly as follow:

It is still a total mystory why the application fails. I have tried it on a RedHat Linux machine and there it works fine. But not on Solaris. Only if I use the jdk1.1.8 but not a later one.

Assuming you have these accounts set up in Mail, open preferences and under Accounts tab, edit the SMTP outgoing server list. Do you have a .mac address in the list? If so, delete it.
Are you using iCloud?
For the troubled account, select the correct SMTP server for that account in the box and check the box to use only that server with that account.
