    Hello,
    I created a Send Pipeline that has a Flat File Assembler. When I tried to send the Message I am getting error like, Error Code 0xc0c01658 (Send Pipeline Error)
    The detail of the error,
    There was a failure executing the send pipeline. Please verify that the pipeline strong name is correct and that the pipeline assembly
    can anyone help me, I am new to BizTalk and I am learning
    Thanks

    I tried doing it Johns but still shows the same error.
    Does file go though if you put pass thru pipeline? If so it means everything else in project is working ok.
    After that, check if your project containing pipeline builds ok and is in GAC.
    Add your pipeline in send port again.Restart host instances, and stop/start your application if that helps?

    Hi,
    Copy the payload from moni and test the mapping.

  • Biztalk Custom Pipeline Error

    i have deployed my Custom pipeline and when i tried to use it it gives me the below error
    There was a failure executing the receive pipeline: "BizTalk_Server_Project22.ReceivePipeline123, BizTalk Server Project22, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2f421c0b0e473f3a" Source: "Unknown " Receive Port: "ReceivePort8"
    URI: "E:\rcv\gvgvg\*.xml" Reason: The pipeline component ClassLibrary123.filename,ClassLibrary123, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cd997faca10c5d6 can not be found. If the component name is fully qualified, this error may occur
    because the pipeline component can not be found in the assembly.
    I have build the custom pipeline project placed the dll in the pipleine components and gac the same dll but i still get the below error
    can you help me with this?

    Do not put the Assembly in the %\Pipeline Components folder.  Pipeline Components should be in the GAC only.
    See here:
    BizTalk: Deploying Custom Pipeline Components in BizTalk Server 2006 and Higher
    Make sure you're trying to put it in the correct GAC location. You cannot drop CLR 4.0 Assemblies in the Assemblies folder.
    You muse use gacutil.exe to properly GAC any Assembly.  There is an example in the above Wiki Article along with all other steps to use a custom Pipeline Component.

    RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE occurs if something is wrong with the Sap system that you are connecting to.
    The most common cause is the RFC, you are calling itself has thrown an exception during the runtime.
    This will help you in figuring out the cause of the issue:
    1. Call the same RFC with same parameters in SapGui and see if it is successful.
    2. Turn on Rfc tracing and look into the trace files.
    If you are not able to find the cause, you can contact SAP/ABAP consultant with the traces. They will
    be able to help you with this further.

  • Biztalk Custom Send Pipeline Error

    Hello Experts,
    I have been trying to work with the Custom Send Pipeline, which picks up the .xml file which has the path directory of the file needs to be sent to the destination. I used the code from
    here to practice how it works
    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Text;
    using Microsoft.BizTalk.Message.Interop;
    using Microsoft.BizTalk.Component.Interop;
    using System.IO;
    namespace Sample.SndLargeFiles

    [ComponentCategory(CategoryTypes.CATID_Encoder)]
    [System.Runtime.InteropServices.Guid("52dcc4e5-28e1-49a2-81fd-de496ac80fe8")]
    public class SampleSndLargeFiles : IBaseComponent, IComponentUI, IComponent
    #region IBaseComponent Members
    public string Description
    get
    return "Send Large Files to destination reading from disk";
    public string Name

    return "SampleSndLargeFiles";
    public string Version
    get
    return "1.0.0.0";
    #endregion
    #region IComponentUI Members
    public IntPtr Icon
    get
    return new System.IntPtr();
    public System.Collections.IEnumerator Validate(object projectSystem)
    return null;
    #endregion
    #region IComponent Members
    public IBaseMessage Execute(IPipelineContext pContext, IBaseMessage pInMsg)
    // Read filepath from the context properties
    string largeFilePath = pInMsg.Context.Read("LargeFilePath", "https://SamplePL.PropertySchema").ToString();
    // Read file from disk
    int bufferSize = 1024;
    FileStream fs = new FileStream(largeFilePath, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read, FileShare.Read, bufferSize);
    if (fs.CanSeek)
    fs.Position = 0;
    pInMsg.BodyPart.Data = fs;
    return pInMsg;
    #endregion
    I am getting error when I am trying to use in my send Port
    "Reason: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.  "
    I have checked GAC and restarted the host instances after deploying the pipeline but nothing helps.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks

    Johns,
    If I debug the orginal code it shows
    "An exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in Jax.Dhana.SndLargeFiles.dll but was not handled in user code
    Additional information: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
    in the below line
    string largeFilePath = pInMsg.Context.Read("LargeFilePath", "https://SamplePL.PropertySchema").ToString()
    If I change the code to
    string largeFilePath = System.String.Empty;
    object propVal = pInMsg.Context.Read("LargeFilePath", "https://SamplePL.PropertySchema");
    if (propVal != null) {
    largeFilePath = (System.String) propVal;
    I am seeing "Empty path name is not legal" on the below line,
    FileStream fs = new FileStream(largeFilePath, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read, FileShare.Read, bufferSize);

    can you tell me how to debug this?

    Hi Sujith,
    The flat-file schema you have created doesn't match the instance you're testing with. One possible reasons for this error is that schema you have created could be expected carriage-return at
    the end of the last record, but the instance you're testing with may not have it..
    So I have created a schema for your instance flat file and this schema expects the last line to have carriage-return to denote as end of the record, may be similar to yours.

    So, If you test this schema with your flat-file instance, where the last line have carriage-return as below, this will work.Here carriage-return denotes the end of the record:
    If you test the schema with flat-file instance like the below, where there is no carriage-return at the end of the last line
    Then you will have error as you have now.
    Try to test the flat-file which matches to the schema (or create a flat-file schema which matches to the flat-file instance) . If you don't expect carriage-return at the last line of the flat-file, then select the root element and set its childorder
    property to "infix" otherwise "postfix".

    error : Purchasing info record not found in purchasing organization ASPO
    please try to help me out to overcome this error
    regards
    Jino

    hi,
    your palnt is assigned to more then one purchase org. and which creates ambiguity for the sytem
    please mak eone of the org as standard org. in img and before that please check whether the plant is asigned to more then 1 org.
    i can say that you have maintained inforecord for standard  but you have not maintained for consignment the combination in ME11.
    so create info record for consignment.

  • "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA" error while running a package created from C# code

    I have gone through most of the answers for similar questions here however none has resolved the issue. We have created a package using C# code which stages data from a source table to destination (ChildPackage.dtsx).
    Source Table : RowKey, Col1, Col2
    Destination Table : RowKey, Col1, Col2, RowID, RunID (RowID is an identity column in destination table and RunID is a derived column whose value is set using a variable)
    This package runs fine when we execute it directly however, we run these packages from a master package (MasterPackage.dtsx). When we are trying to run the package (ChildPackage) from a MasterPackage we get an error:
    [SSIS.Pipeline] Error: "Oledb Destination" failed validation and returned validation status "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA".
    We have tried setting DelayValidation to true for the ChildPackage and even tried setting the values for "ValidateExternalMetadata" for the source and destination component as "False" for the data flow task
    of the ChildPackage.
    There is no case difference between column names in source and destination and it runs fine when we run the ChildPackage directly.
    The only additional task that the Master package performs is to generate and set a variable that is used as RunID value by the child package.
    If we hardcode the RunID in the ChildPackage and run it directly, it runs fine.
    The MasterPackage.dtsx is not created from code and has a step to run ChildPackage.dtsx. We generate the ChildPackage.dtsx from code and replace in original solution.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Gaurav Agarwal

    Where then this RunID is consumed?
    Arthur My Blog
    The RunID is set by the MasterPackage in a parameter, this parameter is used as value of derived column in the data transformation task of the ChildPackage.
    As mentioned ChildPackage has a RunID column.

    There are 3 warning messages even before I run the package. Warnings are all about the mismatch between the source and destination column sizes.
    I cross checked the source and destination column sizes. The destination column sizes are fairly high than the source column sizes.
    It worked well all the while and when we are going to pre-prod it is throwing errors. Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • Error importing text file into SQL Server when last column is null

    Hello all. Happy holidays!
    I'm trying to import a text file into a SQL Server table, and I get the error below when it gets to a row (row 264) that has null in the last column. I'm guessing the null jumbles up the delimiters somehow. The nulls are not errors, and I need to import
    them into the table with the rest of the rows. Any idea how I can do that?
    Thanks!

    WeeLass

    Hi WeeLass,
    The error that” Data conversion failed. The data conversion for column "XYZ" returned status value 2 and status text "The value could not be converted because of a potential loss of data.".” is generally error message, and the error indicates
    that there is data type mismatch issue between the input columns and the output columns.
    Based on your description, the issue is that you trying to convert a column contains empty value from string to integer data type for the output column "XYZ" in Flat File Source [1]. Please note that we cannot type an empty value as integer data
    type column value, so the error occurs.
    To fix this issue, just as you did, we should convert the data type for the output column "XYZ" in Flat File Source [1] back to DT_WSTR or DT_STR, then use a derived column task to replace the current column (UBPKE542). But the expression should
    be like below:
    LEN(TRIM(UBPKE542)) > 0 ? (DT_I8)UBPKE542 : NULL(DT_I8)
    In this way, the data type of the column in SQL table would be int, and the empty value would be replaced with NULL.
    If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.

    I have created a execut sql task -

    shouldnt setting be Result
    Set=Full Resultset as your query returns a resultset? also i think variable to be mapped should be of object type.
    Then for data flow task also you need to put it inside a ForEachLoop based on ADO.NET recordset and map your earlier variable inside it so as to iterate for every value the sql task returns.
    Also if using SP in oledb source make sure you read this

    Surendra Thota

    Hi Surendra,
    It might be a data type casting issue caused by memory pressure. Please try to use the minimal length of data types that meet the requirements. Besides, if the package runs in 32-bit runtime mode, try to execute it in 64-bit runtime mode. In addition, if
    the issue is not happening in the production environment, I suggest that you install the latest Service Pack for your SQL Server 2008 (R2).
