Pixelated pictures after watching Burst images. Album 6.6.A.0.6

My device is a Z3 Compact D5833, and being a new device, I have been using it non-stop and taking pictures and videos in every possible mode I can, either for fun or to test it out...
I recently discovered a consistent bug that goes as follow:
After making a High Speed burst group of image (In Superior Auto --> Settings --> Burst with long press --> High Speed), I decided to check the pictures out...
Then I pressed the "Play" button inside the Burst Group and it shows them like a video on loop.... but right after that, EVERY picture that I access from my album will be showed in a pixelated manner when Zoomed In (as if they can't fully load)...
The first time I saw that I Restarted the phone and all was good... but after going to the Burst and "Play" again, the pictures again became pixelated. This time I simply closed Album from my Recent Apps list and its fixed again, but it is definitely annoying.
All my pictures and videos are inside the Internal Storage of my Z3C.
I will try and see if this is reproducible with my friend's Z3 Compact D5803 in the following days... if so, this is an issue with the Album version and not just my phone.
Please see my example below... these are actual Screenshots NOT modified from the same Zoomed In picture, one before the bug and the other right after the bug.
Hopefully this can be internally forwarded so that can be fixed to the next Album version.

[BUG] 6.1.A.0.14 Stops displaying hi-res pictures after watching a burst album

Hi, after the newest Album app update (6.1.A.0.14) there's a new bug.
When you take pictures in burst mode and playing it back on the Album app with little play button the application doesn't want to display the 1:1 picture (the original full-size), it shows the pre-rendered preview instead. Also, BRAVIA ENGINE doesn't kick in anymore after playing the burst pictures.
This can be solved by simply restarting the application but sometimes it can be a little annoying.

Why does a 2100x1500 pixel picture get placed as a 504x360 image?

I'm sure this is one of those simple things that an actual graphic designer knows immediately, but that's not me. I'm guessing this has something to do with the PPI?
I make a new document 2100x1500 to place the picture and it comes in really small. I've tried making the document with raster at 72ppi, at 300ppi, with no change in size of the picture once placed.
How can I get a 2100x1500 pixel picture to show up on the document right?

It comes in at the document size not the pixel dimensions, because if you are working for print and your requirement is a 7.5 x 5 inch image and it has to be place in different documents at different resolutions it still has to be 7.5 x 5 inches regardless of the pixel dimension.
Doe that make sense?
Let's try this then
7.5 x 5 at 200 ppi
7.5 x 5 at 355 ppi
7.5 x 5 at 150 ppi
Al have different pixel dimensions but they all have to be the same size when opened or placed in Illustrator, InDesign, Quark or even Photoshop
However when you place it in a pixel based application it none of the above will have the same dimensions and none will appear to be the same size.
So you have to allow your pixel dimensions and document dimensions change like shown below
At 300 ppi
At 72 ppi
Here are the two placed in Illustrator, keep in mind illustrator displays at 72 ppi and you have to allow the document dimension to change accordingly.

After sorting photos into albums, the albums disappeared on me. I dragged and dropped the photos and went back to check that they were in place before exiting the program. When I went back, the folder was there but no albums. Help!

Working on an IMac - with IPhoto v.9.6
This is my first experience with IPhoto... trying to move files from a PC over to a Mac.
I don't have a ton of photos but I created about 6 albums - standard albums - and dragged and dropped individual photos into each of the albums. I named each of the albums as well so I would know what was in each. After i was finished, I created a folder called 2014 and moved each of the albums into that folder. Before moving ANY of the albums, I opened each of them up to make sure that all the photos I wanted in each were indeed there - and since there were some errors on my part, I deleted any duplicates first. SO, I KNOW the photos were actually in each of the albums BEFORE i moved them into the 2014 folder.
My intention was to then delete the photo files in my document file but once I got there I thought I would go back and double check the IPhoto file just to make sure... and the pictures were NOT in the albums where I had placed them... is there a need to save this before you move on and if so, to where and how? I was under the impression that once files were moved to albums, they remain there.
The photos are still in the photo library but unsorted now again... I cannot even open the 2014 folder at this point.

Was back on IPhoto this morning. The folder did not open at all so I deleted it. Beside Albums, nothing showed at all. It was like I had done no work at all except to import my photo folder. Nothing was in my trash bin either.
I started again and created one album at a time. I dragged and dropped photos into the album and exited out of IPhoto, opened up other programs and then returned to IPhoto to see if the album was still there and it was this time. I created a second album and did the same thing. This time, for some reason, the albums seem to be staying in place. I am not doing anything differently than last time. After creating three albums, I created a folder called 2014 and dragged and dropped the three albums into the folder and exited IPhoto. They were still there when I returned - YEAH! It seems to be working - for now! I am keeping my fingers crossed that my photos are not going to disappear but I am not going to delete my photo folder from my files just in case!
Thanks for the suggestions but this may just have been a funny glitch... not sure what happened. I didn't change anything or do anything differently this time except that I am doing it one album at a time and exiting the program between creating each of them and coming back to check... very strange.

The easiest is to use 3rd party apps like Photo Manager Pro; you can drag pictures to any position.

How to create an images album in dreamweaver?

Hi all, I would like to create a little image album for show architectural projects in a portfolio on line.
For the moment I just did a very very simple site, and I'm not expert.
I've found some guides but is always request fireworks in addition, and I've not it.
So, is possible do the vizualization of an album just in dreamweaver?

I enjoyed looking at your site.
I think you might also take a look at implementing a Lightbox gallery. This takes a little setting up and uses Javascript and there are lots of variations. I've used one called thickbox on this site.
Most of the lightbox clones are well documented and easy to implement. You would need to build a gallery page of thumbnail images and have a folder of the larger images and after that, the lightbox clone does the rest. I think that you could easily build a thumbnail gallery yourself that would keep to your minimalist theme of the site.

Issue with Bursting Image

Hi All,
I have implemented Bursting Email program and its working fine but, im running with some issues in the email attachement (PDF) after the Bursting program compleates im not able to see the IMAGE signature (dynamic image getting from $OA_MEDIA). How to achive this if any one implemented before pls give me a solution.
And now im working on Printer and Fax as per the user guide mentioned IPP address, how to specify this address could any one give me example

Retrieving Pictures after phone was wiped

I was on vacation from work and took over 100 pictures of my kids and videos that can never be replaced. Three days after I returned to work, someone had set my Active Sync account to wipe my device. I never had a change to get the pictures and videos off, Is there a way to retrieve the pictures after a wipe? I have tried several software and none of them can even see a blackberry, they were designed for other smart phones as I have not found one specific to Blackberry. I don't mind paying for a solution that will work

Sorry, a security wipe on the device memory would wipe those images and they would irretreivable.

Pixelated pictures in Photos v.1.0 in OS 10.10.3

After upgrading from 10.10.2 to Mac OS 10.10.3, on my wife's iMac, and thereby gaining Photos v.1.0, I find that a small, but significant, number of pictures are pixellated. If I click "Edit"on an individual picture and then "Done" the pixellation is removed. However after quitting Photos and opening the program again, the pixellation returns to the same small set of pictures held in the database. I have also repaired the Photos library on 2 occasions, but this procedure has not fixed the problem
Is anyone else having this issue since migrating to Photos v1.0 during the update to OS 10.10.3?

I did as you suggested and this fixed the issue. However, in a library of about 15,000 pictures it would be a real nightmare firstly trying to identify each pixellated picture and then exporting, deleting and re-importing.
This is an issue that Apple has created through migrating us to Photos and, I believe, they should offer a fix in the next version of Photos.

here you find a note on how to load pictures from the internet. After grabbing the data you could save them to a file, load the file with the picture file functions and then convert it into the image datatype to feed a picture indicator with the data...

How can I watch streaming images that are made for Windows Media PLayer on my Mac Mini?

I'm having problems watching live images from a certain website that uses Windows Media Player. Earlier I used Flip 4 MAC and had no problems, but all of a sudden i can't watch the pictures anymore.Updating Flip4Mac didn't help! Who can help me??

5D mark III not recording picture after long exposure

I've been trying to do star trail pictures the last few days. Every time I do, the batteries are almost dead by the time I turn it off, which isn't surprising, but there's no picture. I have a battery grip so I should have twice as much battery power as just one battery. Is there just not enough battery to record a picture after 6+ hours? I don't thing that's it because I can still press the playback button to look at the pictures to see there's no new picture. Why is this happening

Ahh... star trails aren't made in a single exposure. If you do that, the sky will almost certainly wash out and become mud due to light pollution.
It's normally a LOT of 30 second exposures that you merge together.

Incidentally, Canon makes an AC adapter ACK-E6 which will let the camera run off AC power (if you have AC power available where you plan to shoot.). This is how I run my 60Da (which takes the same adapter as the 5D III) when doing astro-photography (which typically means the camera is taking frames for hours and hours and would normally just kill the batteries.

My solution would be to work with the image in its raw format. Extract the image into a 2 dimensional array, loop throught the rows and columns and compare to your zero crossing window detector. after you have aquired the new image array, you set pixels that are next to an edge 0 and the rest #ffff. this will create a binary image (black and white) with the edges black and rest white. Be careful of your conventions used to determine what are edges. This may seem primitive, but thats just the way i think :P

Ghost pictures after upgrading to iPhoto 9.2.3

I had to reload my external hard drive onto my Mac Pro after I needed a new harddrive. When opening iPhoto, it told me I had to upgrade in order for iPhoto to open so I did. Most of my photos & albums are there. However, there are a few albums that have "ghost" pictures in them. The album says it has the correct number of pictures in it and there are spaces/icons there for them, but the pictures are just black. When I scroll through quickly, I get a flash of the pictures but they stay black when I stop. I tried reloading all the pictures from my camera and they uploaded to the "Photos" window, but they are not in the "events" window at all. Any ideas?

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails. It can take 3 or 4 goes for this to work

Lost 5.1 sound after watching a video iTunes 8

After watch a video on iTunes 8, I lost 5.1 sound when hearing back a song. The strange thing is that when I open Quicktime all the settings are OK....reopen iTunes and the songs are perfectly fine 'til I watch a video....then the problem begins again. Any ideas??

Same issue! In my case, I have no desire to actually _watch_ a video over RDP - but when I am using Lightroom over RDP, have images up in the 'filmstrip view', and hit the right-arrow key for next and it happens to be a video, Lightroom crashes - don't even have to hit play or anything.
Seems like a bug to me; if video didn't play properly but lightroom didn't crash, that'd be acceptable - but a crash is never good.
