in Kanban Calculation (PK07) with this below formula how the system determine the AC
Average consumption per time unit ?

AC: Average consumption per time unit (from dep.reqmts)

I absolutely disagree with you, Gordon.
Its not 'real world usage' to create a new item just because a supplier changes a IpPU or I have to purchase the same item from a different supplier. I also don't understand your 'history thing'. IMHO its far often that a IpPU has to be changed than the history of an item has to be analyzed. Honestly, how many times did you needed such a history. It's nonsens to have software design just for the designs sake.
I even would like to say that analyzing would be much more difficult when I have the same item with different itemcodes, just because its from a different supplier or the has been bought with a different IpPU.
Even more ... If I use the item in multiple BOM's, I would have to change every BOM or Production order to use the new item (actually the same item with a different itemcode). Do you seriously want to tell me that analyzing is still easy ??
To cut a long story short: It's once more that I have to create a work flow around B1, or create a process areounf B1.
I strongly believe that it should be the opposite way. B1 should be able to reflect our processes and our business.

Average HTTP response time going up week by week as said by SAP

Hello All,
I was looking into our SRM earlywatch report,SRM is on windows SQL server 2005 with Windows 2003 server
In the performance indicators,there is an interseting trend though nothing is in yellow or red
The values of following parameters : average response time in HTTP task, the maximum no of HTTP steps per hour and the average DB request time in HTTP task are going up
I understand that as the no of HTTP steps are increasing,the response time is becoming more which is quite obvious.
But how to balance this load out so that the average response time comes down?
what steps should be taken so that I can get this response time to come down though the load on the server is going up

Hi Rohit,
Is you system in High Avalibity setup? If yes, then try to load the balance on Node A and Node B. If this is already done or if your system is not in high availability then plan and install a Additional application server (Dialog instance) for load sharing.

Can we configure the new time unit in invoicing plan in OM7R

SAP has provided the four time units in Define Rules for Date Determination (OM7R) which are 1- Day, 2-Week, 3-Month and 4-Year, I wanted to have the new time unit like "Quarterly" and "Half Yearly".
Would somebody guide me on this how to get these new value?

SCA BB Console report - Subscriber Average Consumption

Hi All
I'm just studying how to implement the multiple thresholds of subscriber quota on my network. I'm generating the report on subscriber average consumption as below to determine what is the right value of quota to be set for each of my subscriber. From the report, it shows the total number of subscriber. Here is my question:
1. What is mean total subscriber from the report?
2. Is it the average active subscriber for the particular aggregation period?
3. Is it active subscriber with traffic session?
The report generated is as below, for information, our total subscriber is around 1.6 million.

On average, how many times do you have to restart ...

Ever since I've been using the E71 (less than a month, a new set), I have to restart it about thrice daily. Mostly, the problem occurs while connecting the phone to the PC (Windows 7) when the USB connection type selector on the phone (which appears when you connect the cable and asks for which mode to connect in) freezes; but some other times, just about any application (including the built-in ones) decides to take a nap and the only way to get it back is turn the set off and then back on again. And as soon as that is done, the app icons are all moved back from the customized folders to the folder "Installations" - very frustrating. I'm afraid of restarting this phone as lots of settings and app icons revert back to the defaults after restarting and I've to go through them again. But at the same time, there seems to be no way to make a stuck USB connection type selector work again without restarting.
Well, from my experience here, I know this particular problem has no solution. (Even if the process is ended using an external app manager, it hangs again on starting the app. This continues until the phone is restarted.) Therefore, I'm not looking for a solution here, although one will be welcome if you've undergone the same and have found a workaround. I just wanna know if you do also have to restart your phone. (I also have one Sony Ericsson and an iPhone; I don't generally need to restart them as long as I don't want to restart. At my current place, however, a Nokia phone is all I can use.)
So, do you have to restart your phone when you don't actually want to? If so, on average how many times a day (or a week)? This will help me determine if the problem lies with the phone or it's me who's doing something differently. Is there something you need to do regularly or often (like connecting the phone to the computer) and that operation generally results in a restart of the phone? Thank you for your response.

Yes I have apps installed on the SD card. Shifting them to the internal memory is not really an option (would leave very little free space over there which would then cause other problems). Besides, if the phone allows you to install the apps on the card, shouldn't they work from there? Yes, they should.
Without the card, there will be no custom apps and the phone would be almost useless (will turn into a basic device used to make calls and send text). To me, this is not an option. Also, I don't see how it would solve the problem automagically after some time.
The card doesn't seem to be faulty. I tried to connect the phone without the card inserted and it got connected alright for two times but the USB mode chooser froze the third time, just the same as with the card inserted. So a new card is probably not going to solve the problem.
Must be something strange happening here. Maybe it's due to the apps installed on the card rather than the internal memory, but I just cannot install all those apps within that limited space.

Error " is not a time unit" while updating table that is Copy of CATSDB

We have created a new table which is a copy of CATSDB and has some more Fields in it. While inserting records to the table, it is throwing the error saying " is not a time unit". Can you please provide some info on this ?
This is a complete custom Table that reuses all the Includes of CATSDB table and some more columns.

Is there any standard report which can give the total purchase, total consumption per month in MM.

There are binocluar icons in your SAP Easy access screen to search in the menu.
Or enter SEARCH_SAP_MENU in the ok-field and search for transactions.

Daily average consumption...

We need to calculate the daily average consumption during the creation of the billing document and bring it at the installation fact level and also use the same for some of the seasonal(Winter) billing periods as a billable consumption instead of the winter actual meter reads.
Please suggest the solution with possible variant programs for designing the above RATE steps.

In the schemma add a "if" to check for winter.
If yes then use the qty from the Installtion fact(New rate similar to the regular consumtion rate)
You will need a Z variant to fetch the qty from ETTIFN (Check COMPUT97,INFACT06)
Use a new operand to store this qty (Ignore the operand having the current month qty)
and use this qty in your calculation.

Hi All. Does anyone know how can display time units is the

How to extract an employee reporting hierarchy per org unit in spreadsheet

Hi Guys,
Can any one advise if there's a standard report I can use to see employee's reporting hierachy in spreadsheetformat ?
Report must have per org unit positions with their related positions :'reports to' A002 relationship between two positions in a specific org unit and person's name/employee number occuping the positions.
I tried creating joint table but battling to undestand how I can have the two related positions info in the infoset.
Current standard report give me only positions with reports to relationship but haven't found report showing me positions with reports to relationship and their related position.

Have you tried using logical database PCH? That gives flexibility to create this kind of report. Create an infoset in SQ02 and an Adhoc Query in SQ01 based on PCH Logical Database. You will need the relationship subtype 'A002' and related object type 'P' on selection screen.

UOM Group not showing exact Items per Purchase Unit

We are using B1 9.0 PL04 in the Client system.When we define UOM Group I am taking Nos as the Base Unit and Kgs as the Purchase Unit and 1 no equals 49 kgs. But when I assign this UOM Group in the Item Master it is taking .02 as Items per purchase Unit and when I make PO it is taking 0.98 instead of 1Nos for 49 Kgs.Have you encountered this in your Implementation?Can you give a solution?

Time Unit of Measure for CATS

Hello guys
In the table CATSDB I find in the field MEINH, "CUR" value, instead of (as I have always found on other projects) u201CHu201D (hours); and I cannot change it.
So in the report CATS_DA, I see u201CCURu201D and not u201CHu201D.
Can you tell me how can I change it? What was the transaction that charged / changed it?

I've created a unit G which was identical to "Hour" except the commercial unit, technical unit, ISO code and description. Now this unit was somehow populated into the CAT2 records. I can't change this in CAT2 detail screen.
After I removed the unit G, I would not be able to save CATS, because of an error:
Error message BM302 - Unit *** is not created in language EN
or
Error message BM305 - Unit G is not created in language EN
After I re-created G as a no-dimension unit, I would get an error when trying to amend CATS
"Unit is not allowed" or "Units with different dimensions can't be converted".
I amended some of the entries in CAT2 manuallysetting G again as a time unit, but not all of them. Is there a report or transaction to change the unit on existing records en masse? How did you resolve this?
Is it a known issue for the fuction module CATS_GET_UNIT_HOUR to pick up the first unit with the dimension "TIME" from T006?

Change the ITEM PER SALES UNIT

Hi experts.
I try to change the value in Items per sales unit, but the system give me an error 'CAN NOT BE CHANGED TO AN ITEM WITH TRANSACTION.
Now we plan for the next month to change the package for abaout 2500 products that we produced.
Someone can explain me why i can not change this value?
Serching in the forum i try a link to note n. 1059753 with the workaround.. But is not a good way form me.
There is another solution??
