PKI, certificate and keychain.app experts needed!

Hi all!
I have the following problem. To verify e-mails signed (qualified in the sense of german signature-laws) the highest german CA-certificate is needed. So I imported this CA-Root-Cerificate into the x.509 keychain in keychain.app. There it is 1) not recognized as a CA-Root-Certificate and 2) it can't be verified.
Some research discovered that the main difference between this cert and all the other pre-intsalled certs is that it uses the RIPEMD-160 hash-algorithm and not SHA1.
My question is: Can anybody confirm that RIPEMD-160 is not supported in Mac OS X or does anbody have an idea what is going wrong.
If anybody needs the german root-ca-cert I can e-mail it!

The following are up to date and seem to be connected to the keyboard buffer in some way: (I had airdisplay, but that is no longer on the drive - I think ML kicked it off the disk when I installed ML).

I've closed them down. The problem continues.
I also use Path Finder in which the sticky problem occurs. If I force quit it once the problem begins, that fixes it, but if I then try dragging in just Finder, the problem returns. So it's both in Finder and Path Finder that the issue occurs. I've even relaunched Finder, but that doesn't fix the problem when it has begun. I also discovered that any kind of drag causes the problem now - every time. For example, in some app that displayed a table, if I try widening a column by draging the column heading left or right, then the widening/shrinking continues when I let go of the left mouse hold and then just move the mouse, even if it's off the app's window.

You will need to have location services on for maps and the other apps that you require location settings for.

A 3rd gen iPod touch can run up to iOS 5.1.1. If the apps you need require a later version of iOS, you will need a newer iPod touch.
The 4th gen model, which is still available on Apple Store's refurb ("Special Deals") page can run up to iOS 6.1.3. The current 5th gen model can run the current iOS 7.x.

Internet, BBM, facebook and twitter apps not working.. help?!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and just recently the internet doesn't work and neither does BBM and any app that needs the internet like Facebook and Twitter, emails and BB App World doesnt work properly too. I also noticed that in the top right hand corner where the coverage bars are (sorry i'm really not good with this kind of talk ha!) it has gprs instead of GPRS as it normally says.. i hope that makes sense!
Any ideas on what I can do? I've tried rebooting it at least 10 times now, nothing seems to work!

"Preview.app" will need very long to startup...

Hi!
At home i have a G4 Dual 800 Mac with OS X 10.4.8.
The app "preview" needs there about 0,5sec to startup. Thats very good.
Now at my company i have a G5 Dual 2,3Ghz machine, also with OS X 10.4.8 and the app "preview" needs on every start about 4 sec. to start!
So whats the problem?
I deleted the preference file, but the problem is still going on.
What can i do, that "preview.app" starts up inner 1 sec.???

There are no Errors in the console.log.
I watch it while i opend "preview.app"
It seems to be all OK.
No i do not open a pic, i just click on the icon in the dock to open "preview"
It needs about 3 seconds to open. :-((
I do not understand this problem. What can be wrong?
The System seems to be OK, i had repair the permissons. So it´s all OK, i don´t have other troubles with my system.

I mean if i change the CDP by adding or removing entries in the Extensions tab of the CA properties, do i need to reissue a CA certificate and all previously issued certificates?

Well, that depends. When you change the extension for a new CDP location, that setting is used for certificates issued or renewed from that moment going forward. Do you have to renew the old certificates? That's the part that depends on your objective. If
you want ALL certificates to use the new location and not the old one, then yes, all the existing certificates would need to be renewed. The extension property is permanently affixed to the certificate.
If the CDP point in question is an HTTP location it may be possible to use DNS to "move it". One of the things I often advocate is the use of a DNS name alias that is resolvable internally and externally. With this defined as the CDP/AIA location,
you can move the location around as future needs dictate without reissuing anything.
If you were not fortunate enough to have an alias, one other option is to retire the host name that the current CDP is located on (some random server) and use that as an alias in DNS (A Record or C Name) and point to a new location.

I don't know if it's the same in your OS, but in 10.6.8:
Go to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access > Keychain Access menu > Keychain First Aid > enter your password > click on Verify > click on Start. If you get a message saying something needs to be repaired, click on Repair > Start and wait for it to finish.

I keep getting a pop up of keychain access password needed. So I fill it in and in a few minutes it pops up again. can it be changed? what is it for?

I checked for waiting downloads in the iTunes App (purple icon) on device. Sure enough, there was a stuck download. Deleting that item (swipe to delete) seems to have gotten downloads working again and (hopefully) banished the message.

DPS App Builder - certificates and account issue

Hi,
I'm working on an App for a client who's going to use it internally with his employees.
My company has an Enterprise account and I'm a member of it.
Working with the Creative Cloud - not using the same email address as the Admin of the Enterprise account.
I finished creating the InDesign files, the certificates etc. I can launch "Create the app" in InDesign and fill the first steps in DPS App Builder but when I try to add the certificates it says:
"App ID inside the mobileprovision file contains "*". This type of mobileprovision app ID is only applicable for Enterprise signed builds. You will need to re-generate this file with a valid app ID."
Can the problem comes from the fact that I'm not logged into CC with the Enterprise Admin email address? Or because I'm set in the Enterprise Account as a member and not Admin?

I figured it out. I was confusing the p12 file for the push notifications with the original developer p12 file. All fixed.

What does "new actualization" mean?
Do you have Restrictions set that world prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions
