PL Stock in transfer exceeded by NOS

Dear Expert,
Our one user wrongly done the 305 ( Place in stoage) entry twice. but when i'm trying to rectify (Reverse entry ) it is swoing me following error.
PL Stock in transfer exceeded by 36 NOS ,
Message no. M7022
But when i have checked system message showing "warning" the MM -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory - >Define Attributes of System Messages.
Is it right path or may different.
Please help me about this problem.

Some system messages are program specific messages which can't be changed in SPRO settings.
Check this SAP help

Caution
Messages M7 021 and M7 022 can only be used for the following cases:
Goods movement with reference to a reservation:
If more than the reserved quantity is withdrawn, you can have either a warning message or an error message issued.
Negative stock allowed:
If the stock balance becomes negative due to a withdrawal of goods, the system can issue a warning or an error message. If no negative stock is allowed, the system always issues an error message.
Morever you get this message as error when you try to place the stock in sloc for the second time with reference to the material document(remove stock from sloc).. system wont allow to place the stock twice with reference.. please check whether you placed the stock with reference or you transfered the stock through 301.. in any case, if you have more stock in a sloc.. why dont you try 301 to rectify it as a work around.

MB1B transfer posting error "SL stock in transfer exceeded by 20 PC."

Hi All,
I'm doing a MB1B transfer posting for my materials from 1 storage location to another using movement type 311,
but some of the materials I encountered this error.
"SL stock in transfer exceeded by 20 PC : 'Material name' 'Plant' 'Stor. Loc' "
I went to MB5T to check the materials if it's in the stock in transfer, but they are not in the list.
I've also check in MMBE to check the stock value of these materials, it shows 100 in unrestricted use which is more than what I'm transferring.
May I know what have i missed checking?

Hi There
Seems you are trying to do the One step Transfer between locations (311), So it is not required to look into the 313, 315 steps (Stock in trasfer, Removal and palce in transfer)
From the Suppling location these Material and Batch is reserved for some purpose(261 or 201) and these material may under Dynamic Availability Check, In this case even if you have the stock in Location if it is hard allocated for some other purpose you cant use this qty
Please check the above settings.

Please let me know how can i resolved this.

Why do use 305 movement?
305 is the second step of of a plant to plant transfer in 2 steps. you never do a second step before the first.
first step is 303. if 303 is not possible in your system (because of the error you have) why do you get the idea that you have to post something with 305?
What business case is the background for your action?

i checked issuing quantity and unit also.

The message says that you have not enough stock in transit.
Maybe it is already received (maybe overrecived from another order)
Did you enter the same batch?
Do you do goods issue and PO and receipt in different units?

Error: PL Stock in transit exceeded by 112 SU

Hi all,
While doing MIGO, I get error message while trying to post goods receipt: "PL Stock in transit exceeded by 112 SU : XXXX (Material) XXXX (Plant) XXXX (Storage locaion)"
I have checked in MB5T transaction but it shows - 'List contains no data'
What can i do to solve it.

i have a similar prob:
the scenario is as below:
Interplant movt from 1 plant to another with stock transport order (SA)
qty 154 ea issued at the supplying plant and shows in the stock in transit (MB5T) same 154 ea.
but while GR i get error "PL stock exceeded by 30 ea"
please provide me a solution.
p.si dont want to covert error message to warning message and go ahead

Just with th report transaction MB5T
I think your purpose will be solved using that report
just check the flag cross company code in the initial screen
*the qty gets updated in the table MSEG feild MENGE.*

Can i transfer stock with transfer order in Inventory management between two storage locations in the same plant?

I hope you are referring a transfer order and the transfer between two storage locations connected to the same warehouse, and just not doing movement at IM level with a transfer order.
But, if you are referring to making a bin-bin transfer within the warehosue and you want to influence the storage location to storage location automatically, yes, you can do this. You should use 'storage location control' configuration under WM-IM interface to drive this. Essentially, you need to maintain the warehouse, destiantion storage type, plant, destination storage location and movement type 311. When you perform the transfer order confirmation to move inventory from a storage type (inventory is under source storage location) to the destination storage type (per the configuration setting) there will be an automatic transfer posting made to move inventory at IM level from source to desintation storage location.

Is Retail: Store to Store transfer: Deficit of PL Stock in transfer

All,
We are trying to transfer inventory from Store A to Store B.
Both stores have -ve inventory turned on at storage location level. We are trying to transfer using 303 movement type.
While executing the transfer we are getting a "Deficit of PL Stock in transfer XX EA" error.
Checked the article master for the article and neg stocks is turned on for that article in store A and store B.
What could be the reason for this error?
Would appreciate any input

Generally it wont show the error. Please chek the plant & storage location.

Somebody kown TCODE like MB5T to see documents related STOCK IN TRANSFER???
We have outbound deliveries (Delivery Type UL - Del.for Stock Trans. u2013 Movement Type 603 - TF rem.fm stor.to pl) waiting for Goods Receipt that we canu2019t determinated.

Thank Shiva, but we don't have purchase order, que have outbound delivery, it's trhe first document.
First, we have a outdelivery with movement type 603 which put material at stock transfer then we use MIGO (A01 / R05) to transfer into unrestricted-use stock the material posted into stock in transfer in the receiving plant using movement type 603.
We need know this outboud delivery number, VL06 didn'y have tihis information.

I am using cross company stock transfer scenarion. We can see the stock in transfer with the transaction MB5T or we can use the transaction MMBE to see the "Stock in transfer CC".
In which database table this value for "Stock in transfer CC" is stored?

EKBE - purchase order history.
You should find there various records e.g. for the delivery, goods issue and goods receipt.
The value is not just stored in one table field, it gets calculated dynamically

I am doing GR for STO, but im getting the above mentioned error. I have done the outbound delivery(VL10B) and goods issue(VL02N). However am unable to post GR. Have gone thru most of the threads with the topic, but none had concrete solution. can anyone pls help out in the necessary corrections needed??

PL stock in transit exceeded means that you want receive more than you issued.
Make sure that the goods issue was not cancelled.
How much did you issue and what was the unit of issue?
How much do you want to receive in which unit?
What is the base unit of your material?
check in your PO item detail history tab how much was issued.
Maybe you overreceived another PO., hence you have not enough in-transit anymore to receive the quantity that was issued for this PO.

I have material stock of which shows in stock in Transfer(sloc) and not in unrestricted stock.
When I see movements against this it has movement 311 against 1 material document.
I want to know why this material is not in unrestricted stock and why it is available in stock in Transfer(sloc).
Movement 311 is for stock transfer between storage locations as it is one step transfer it should have stock in receving location at unrestricted stock and not at stock in Transfer(sloc).

stock transfer with 311 was one step processes so please check your processes once agian
Now do with 315 movement type and you have to take the sttocks in to s.location

ATP check for 'stock in transfer'

I have a scenario which I created a Sales Order for 100 EA of product 'X' shipping from DC01 to a customer. DC01 does not currently have inventory for product 'X'. SAP has inventory only available in DC02.
I created a (two step) STO and an outbound delivery shipping inventory from DC02 to DC01. I issued the 100 EA of product 'X' against the outbound delivery. Transaction MB5T shows the 100 EA 'in transit'.
Under my availability check, on my sales order, the checking rule scope displays, a check on 'Include Stock in transfer'.
Why am I unable to view my stock in transit of '100' EA from the STO process when I look at the ATP check ? How can ATP view the 'Stock in transfer' from the two step STO?

Hi,
Check the settings in t.code OVZ9.
Check the box include purchase orders and select A or X in the field Incl. rel. order reqs field.
After making these settings, just test and update the results.
Do you have batches in the STO? If so are they in restricted status during "in-transit"?
