Place Cursor not showing the (#) number of text files loaded

Hi all,
I´m using Indesign CS3, updated to the latest patch availabe, this is 5.0.4. I´m using Windows 7 32b.
When trying to import text files via File > Place and I select 2 o more text files and click OK, the Place Cursor should show in parenthesis the number of files loaded right?. Well the bizarre issue I´m dealing with is that this (#) doesn´t show up. I can see the little preview of the text to be imported but not the (#) number of text files loaded. If I press the down arrow key on the keyboard the mini text updates and cicles through all the loaded texts. That's fine.
I wanted to screen capture this issue so I installed Techsmith Snagit 9 on my computer. When I was ready to capture the Place Cursor on Indesign, Snag it captured it showing (2) documents loaded. ???? What´s going on?
Anyone could explain this issue?
I´ve already rebuild my Preferences with no luck.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

The home page does not show the awesome bar or file,edit,view,history,ect.

The home page does not show the awesome bar or the file,edit,history,bookmarks,tools or help options anymore. how can I get these feature to come back up. All it shows now is latest headline & getting started.

* In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.

Thanks for the help. The only one which worked was Gmail Watcher which does not change the icon. But it provides similar functionality by creating a periodic message visible at the bottom left of the screen telling me how many unread emails are in my inbox.
The ones I tried which did NOT work were:
Gmail notifier by Kang;
Gmail Manager by Long
Gmail Checker by Nguyen; and
Gmail Favicon Notifier by Pendelton.

Lightroom does not recognize the raw format of files loading from my Nikon AW1 and loads them as jpegs. I know there are updates that would allow this camera to be recognized as shooting raw but I haven't been able to work it out. Any help out there?

How do I remove an old phone number from my macbook imessage. My apple ID does not show the number anymore but I cannot remove it from the imessage accounts. Its driving me mad !

Can someone please help me to remove an iphone telephone number from my imessage application. I no longer have a phone which I registered on my apple ID as a second phone. I have been on my apple ID and it does not seem to be there but cannot remove it from imessage, which still has it as an option to connect to. I am concerned that someone else who inherite this old phone will see my messages if I accidentally enable it again. I have read and re-read various postings and tried all options given but no luck, the **** thing stays there.....

If you are a Verizon user try this:
Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again and see if it's fixed.

Since updating to OS5, my text messages are being sent as e-mails. Also, my contacts do not show the people's phone

Since updating my iPhone 4 to iOS5, it seems my texts are being sent as e-mails or in e-mail form. The person I am texting gets a phone number and not my name. Also, when I click on contacts to text to, where it used to show the phone number and I would touch the number to text, it just shows the persons name, no phone#.

Settings > Messages > Send and Received > Uncheck any number/email that does not belong to the device
Note: The little blue (>) will give you an option to remove the number/email from the device

    i want to see the proportion of some data, for example, the income of May is 300, and the total income is 1000, i need to display it like 33.33% . so i set the
Calculate single values as normalization of result, and then it display 33.333%, i like to display only two number of decimal places, so i set the number of decimal places as 0.00, but i doesn't work, it still display three decimal numbers.
    maybe you say i can use the percentage function like %CT %GT %RT, but i need to allow external access to my query, so the i can not use those functions.

In your thread, someone proposes use the T-code OY04. but this wouldn't help. As i change to other key figure, such as user quantity, when i set normalization of result, it still display 3 decimal values.

Hi Kevin,
The iPhone 4S comes automatically loaded with iOS 5, and any updates after iOS 5.0 can be completed directly from on the phone in Settings > General > Software Update. If you are having trouble using iTunes to update software, I suggest you reset iTunes so that you can pair your phone to the computer again, because if you can't see the serial number and capacity, that generally means your phone isn't paired. For any problems this doesn't fix, please contact Apple directly through their automated help line, 1(800)MYAPPLE.

Click the arrow at the far right (outside) of the Folder field (i.e. not the one in the Folder field) in the "Edit This Bookmark" window to access the complete folder list.<br />
This full folder list also opens if you click the drop marker in the Folder field and click the "Choose..." item.<br />
If folders in the list aren't expanded then look for a possibly faint arrow icon to expand/open the folders.
