Place next call automatically on hold

Hello,
We recieved complains in our company that when a user is on the phone an other person can still call him/her.
This call makes a sound a gives a popup. So far the user had to answer this call and say that he/she would return before he/she could set the call on hold.
I would like to know if there is any way that when a person is in call the next caller gets a buzzy tone or will be placed on hold.
I hope i'm clear with my question.

There’s a workaround which can turn off the ringing for the second incoming call, it may not meet your needs, only for your reference.
a.  In Lync, click “Option”
b. 
Click “Ringtones and Sounds”
c. 
Under “Sounds”, click “Sound Settings”
d. 
On the “Sounds” tab, in the “Program Events” menu, scroll down to “Lync”, click “Second Incoming Call”, set the value of “Sounds” to Null.

    I tap a contact and it only places a call automatically sometimes. Most often, I have use the keypad to make the call.
    Instead of placing the call automatically, it puts up a flag with "COPY" in it.

    Try tapping more quickly and lightly. Tap-and-hold is supposed to bring up the Copy command, so the phone is interpreting your tap as a tap-and-hold for some reason.

  • Calls go on hold automatically

    Integration with MS MOC/CUPS and CCM 6., issue is when a user makes a call it automatically goes on hold when answered. If we disable the RCC in OCS, the issue goes away. So, need to find out why OCS places the call on hold. Has anyone ran into this issue?

    Here is some information I recieved from TAC on this issue (After 6 months of working thru this will different support cases as it was difficult to reproduce at times.)
    This is a known issue and has been documented in this bug: CSCtc50956 - CTIGW: call automatically put on hold
    This bug was never made public as it was found only by a few select customers.  The description of the bug is as follows:
    1. A call was established on MOC
    2. MOC hit 8-hour recycling mark. It then sent a new INVITE/MonitorStart, etc.
    3. MOC then closed the previous SIP session with BYE
    4. When there was a new call coming, MOC found there was two calls active so it sent HoldCall event to CTIGW in trying to put the 1st call on Hold.
    5. CTIGW uses the callid found in the HoldCall to put the call on hold. But since CTIGW had only one call data attached to the new scb, it put the 2nd call on hold instead.
    Comparing this with the explanation provided by Microsoft we can see it matches.  This bug has been fixed in the 7.0.6 or 8.0.1 release of CUPS.  I am working to make this defect public so you can view it within the next few days.  The resolution will be to upgrade your presence server to 7.0.6 or later.

    in IP24 use the multiple selection to select all the equipment and in the selection screen under maintenance dates select maintenance status as W/ and execute system will display the next planned date for the equipment selected -But with all the call object which are on hold

    Also is it possible to get next call once the previous one is technically closed even though there is NO scheduling period and completion requirement checkbox unchecked ?

    For your conditions
    1. No Scheduling period
    2, No Completion Requirement
    After initial scheduling (IP10), depending on the cycle period (1 Mon, 1Yr etc).,
    Whenever you run IP30, one call will be generated, if the plan date falls in the past. If the Plan date falls in the future a Scheduled hold  line item will be seen in IP30, further no impact of IP30  will be seen, until this Hold item is called.

  • Transition to next slide automatically at end of voice over clip

    I have been trying to configure my Keynote 09 presentation so that each slide has it's own voice over audio clip. When the audio clip ends I would like to have the presentation move onto the next slide automatically. I cannot for the life of me find settings that tall the slide transition to take place when an audio clip ends.
    I do not want to set a slide time to 8 seconds if the audio is 8 seconds. I update the audio too much to keep adjusting slide timings.
    Can Keynote do this?

    To the best of my knowledge, no.
    Having said that, if it takes you 1 minute to re-record audio file and re-insert audio to KN, it takes you 2 seconds to change the transition time so not sure your grief is so dramatic. Have to inspectors visible when you are replacing audio. One inspector on QT to show time length one inspector on Slide to change the transitions. If it is to dramatic then *Apple Menu > Keynote Feedback…* and ask for a build option that detects media elapsed time / end time is best suggestion I can offer.

    Accidentally I drop couple drops of water on the phone.
    The phone still works perfect.
    I send and receive mails, text messages, and I also can receive calls hear and talk.
    But when I want to place a call i automatically receive error message.
    I change my chip to other phone and worked perfect.
    I try using a different sim on iPhone and has the same problem, just can't make a call.
    I updated ios.
    I restore to factory.
    And still the same problem.
    Can someone help me ?
    Telephone company says they just cant help because is not line problem and "it seems they can't solve the hardware problem".

  • Skype Call Put on Hold when another Phone Call com...

    Why does my active Skype call automatically get put on hold when a standard phone call comes through on my iphone 6?   I would prefer to manually switch between calls and I hold many conference calls through SKYPE.

    Please check if you enable conferencing in topology builder, you can check on the Standard edition topology below “Feature and functionality”.
    Please also try to re-run the Lync Server Components install from the Deployment Wizard and check services again.
    If the issue persists, you can use the Lync server logging tool on FE server to test the process of conferencing.

  • How can I delete a "e-mail" without the next email automatically opening?

    I know with my iPhone 5 I can swipe to the left and delete a email in my inbox without the next unread email opening automatically. But with my iPad doing the same task I just mentioned doesn't work. It seems to still open up the next unread email if I delete or even if I delete it the edit way. In fact it seems like if I do it the edit way once I check off the circle to select what I want to delete it still previews or opens the message. Is their a way around it? I like to be able to just look at my 3 lines of text of the email and decide if I want to delete it without it opening and I like to be able to open a message that I want to open, but I don't want to have it open up the next email automatically because I may not want that next email to open.

    Yeah!!  Edit to delete opens the email you want to delete before you can delete it!!  I don't want to open those creepy spam phishing emails!!  So now I just let them pile up and go onto my PC to delete them, where I have the option of not opening them first.  I came on here looking for an answer but I'm just finding snarky retorts with no answers!  :(

    I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

    As far as I know there is no app to record phonecalls because US regulations, but I am not using iphone in US so we definately need call recorder. HTC or Samsung has call recorder so why we dont?
