Placing 2 items in Header region?

Hi - I'm stumped. Let's assume that I have a header region of 960px. The logo I insert onleft hand side is 406 px wide. I then want to place a second item in the remaining space that is left in that header. I tried to that by just simply inserting the image and then aligning it to the right....That didn't seem to work so then I thought I'd simply size down the header to 407 px and insert a div tag? THat didn't seem to work either as it dropped the div tag directly below the logo on left rather than insertion point as I thought it would?
I'm new at this - and as you can see - lost! Help greatly appreciated! I'm using Dreamwever CS5.

Now: Is there a way to "anchor" and item in a Region Footer so it doesn't move relative to the footer when the IE window is resized?

Using APEX 4.0.x under Oracle 11.2.y on Unix displaying to Windows 7.
I use #TIMING# in a Region Footer of a chart where it displays in the lower left-hand corner. The chart slightly more than fills the window so I want to shrink it. But when I change the "zoom level" of the IE window (under IE 8.0.7601.17514) to say, 96%, the timing value (e.g., 0.02) displayed moves from below the chart at the left to above the chart on the right-hand side. ???
Is there java / html that can be put in the Region Footer field with #TIMING# to prevent this?

It sounds like you are not running the latest software. Connect to itunes. Go to the summary screen for your ipod and check what version of the software it says you are running. If it does not say 1.1, then you need to update.
If it says 1.1, then I would suggest restoring.
If you are running the 1.1 version of the software, if you hold the larger "Sleep/Wake" button down for a few seconds, it should shut down the nano.

The content of Text property for a header Region appears left aligned by default.
Is it possible to set horizontal Alignment = Middle(of the Page)For the Item Type, Header I do not see any property called Horizontal Alignment in the Property Inspector.

Header component does not expose any property to align the text.
Can you check whether, the following layout helps.

If you want to have the pricing procedure at delivery level then you need to assign a pricing procedure at delivery level also
Just go through the path to maintain the pricing procedure at delivery level.
IMG -> Logistics execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Pricing -> Pricing Procedure. for Delivery.
But can you be more clear if the above one is not your query ?

I am trying to personlize a field in the header region for the Change Location function. I tried changing the CSS style to OraErrorText for the Message Styled Text: Effective as of Approval Date field in the

by clicking on the

I tried the personlization at function / site / responsibility level, but the change is not getting reflected.
I tried personlization in some other regions of the page which is getting reflected, but the personlization in the header region is not getting reflected. Is there any limitations to the personlizations in the header region ?

Genreally personalization will be effected on apply.
Have you restared the Application Server.If not restart the Application server and check it again.
Some times this step is required.

How to fit placed items multiple up?

Hello,
I am new to InDesign CC, and apologize if what I am looking for is a simple command and I am just not calling it the right thing.
I am wanting to know if there is a way to automatically fill a blank document with placed items making it multiple up?
A simple example would be a business card that I designed in InDesign. I have the margins, document size and bleed edges set, I would like to place them multiple up on various sizes to see what size would hold the most to trim. 8up typically go on a letter sized document etc. But now many could I fit on 12"x18", etc.
What I am trying to accomplish not having to align each one manually which is slowing my work flow down. Plus when customers have odd sized documents they want cut and padded etc, having the abilitiy for the software to automatically place items that are all alligned by their trim edges would save a lot of proofing and re laying items out.
The idea comes from my Silouette Cameo personal cutting plotter. The software lets you fill the cut area with a design and it is filled equally.
There has to be a way commercial users can do this with out figuring all the math?

Item line heading

Hi,
i need to print item line heading for each new page.
I have only one window, main in the page and i have line items in the same window. I'm trigerring different sections using text elements. when the line item doesn't fit in the page its getting printed in the next page, which is the desired funct.
however, when it goes to the next page , i need to print item header for every new page. can someone let me know how i can do this with out making any changes to the layout.

this can be done in different ways...
If you can modify the layout create a window and place the headings in this new window and call this window in all form pages.
If you can modify the driver program, it can be done by using text elements.
if you don't want to modify layout and program, try this below code...
place your item hedings in main window...
apply the follow ing logic...
Example..
if &temp& NE &nextpage&
flag = 'Y'.
endif.
If flag = 'Y'. " note set flag = 'y' for first time
temp = page.
Headings goes here
flag = 'N'.
endif.
***line items goes here.....

Unable to create item under a region

Hi All,
I wanted to create a item under one region in a seeded page. When I went to Personalize page, next to the region where I need to create the item, I don't see the "Create Item" button. But for the other regions I see that button. Any ideas what could be done to enable this?

It could be a dynamic region itself or a region extended.
If its a dynamic region, you will have to do Controller extension to extend it.

How to create "n" number of items in a region?

i) I have a table like:
Col1 Col2

1 XYZ
1 PQR
2 AA
2 BB
ii) Now what I need to do that item - Check Box need to be created on a region of page based on Col2.
In this case, Check Boxes should be created as below when Col1 is "1":
ABC
XYZ
PQR

Space between Items in a Region

Hello,
How do I put a space/whitespace between items in a region?
For example I have to text fields on top of each other, I want to put some space between them without an input field?

Hi Colin,
there is no need to create additional items to increase spaces.
Beter way to do this ( increase space between two items ) is:
1. In form - go to Edit Page Item of the second item which folows the first one and put in the HTML Table Cell Attributes something like that: style="width:150";
That increase label colon of the second item. You must be attentive that the value must be greater than the text in label of second item is.
2. In report - go to Page Definition -> Report Attributes -> Column Attributes ( of your column ) and than put in the CSS Sytle of Column formating section something like this: width:150px. In this way you would increase you field and in the same way increas space between the columns in report.

Computation in between items in a region

I have three items on a region

As soon as i enter 10 in item1 and 20 in item2 then item3 needs to be pupulated with the total of it.
Could any one guide me the processs of doing this.

Document info fields in Word won't update when placed in document header-section

Dear all,
I have a document library using 3 Content Types with metadata columns and a Word-template.
The values of these metadata columns should be displayed within the Word-documents created from content type.
So I've inserted document info fields into the Word-template to display them.
But unfortunately the placeholders are not updated when opening the document again, after metadata values had been changed e.g. by using the edit-form within the list.
From what I have seen so far, this only refers to document info fields resident in header or footer sections.
But this is where I need to place them.
Does anybody know this issue and has an idea of how to fix it?
Could VBA be of use here?

Per my test, document info fields in Word will update when placed in document header-section.
