Placing Edge Animate in Muse trouble

I made a short html video in Edge Animate just like the Tom Green tutorial and it works perfectly when testing it from Edge but when I place the .oam file in Muse I just get a gray box. What am I doing wrong?

I have just published a website to the Business Catalyst server via Muse for testing (link below) and noticed that the Edge animation i have included in the website doesnt work in Internet Explorer 8 as it doesnt support HTML5, do you have a work around for this and if so how do i implement it?

and it is a pain in the *** xD.
no control over css or html, so im starting to regret this
but you can just render it as web in edge animate wit hthe iframe checked. than place in in muse by object > insent html and insent is as iframe.

warning, you can not see anything of iframe in preview mode, you have to completely render is as html and manualy open it to see the change....

Edge Animate to Muse... help

I've been using Muse to create my website, and have attempted create one of my icons to rotate on scroll over. It has been done on this website blackmagicgfx.com as an example on the icons below the laptop I just don't know how to write CCS script.. any help would be much appreciated.

You can create a symbol in Edge Animate which internally has image which rotates. Then you can nest that symbol in another symbol which can have an action for mouse over which plays the nested symbol. This could be one approach. Once this is done you can publish this animation as an oam file and import into muse and use it in the content that you are designing. CSS tranforms required for the animation will be handled by Edge Animate and hence you do not require any knowledge on CSS.

Edge animate & Adobe Muse

Hi,
I'm creating a website with Muse. I want some animation, so I have decided to create some buttons using Edge Animate.
But when my buttons are imported into Muse, the "Hypelinks" panel disappear, so I can't say I want those button to bring me on another Muse page…
Is there a way to do that?

A good idea is to create any buttons inside Adobe Muse, at the end export it as HTML, and then open the exported file (index.html) inside Adobe Edge Animate and create the final animation in there.

Edge Animate on Muse and Publishing Problems

i have recently made a website with Muse and i have added also an animation which i created on Edge Animate. When i published it to the Business Catalyst and went to preview, it the animation wasn't there and it only showed a text: "Bad Request". Since this is my first website i am going to publish on the web i honestly dont know what i have done wrong. Any help would be welcomed

Adobe Muse with Edge Animate components plays great on the Mac but images don't show in Windows. Any suggestions?

You're in luck! We just added in a feature to the latest version of Edge Animate CC (3.0) to enable the CDN option for OAM publish (what we call the "Animate Deployment Package"). This means that your Animate compositions can now references jQuery and the Animate runtime from the network instead of from the project directory. (Please note that this will only make sense for Dreamweaver and Muse integration with OAM and won't make sense for InDesign.)
To turn this on, launch Animate and go to File > Publish Settings. Then select the Animate Deployment Package on the left and click "Host runtime files on Adobe CDN." Save and publish, and you should be good to go.

Is it possible (or feasible) to create an entire website full of animations using Edge Animate?

Back when Adobe Edge preview first came out I tried making this site:
http://www.bluekanji.net based on a friends request to have everything animate, with sound effects, music, etc. It didn't turn out too well and the coding is a mess because of my lack of coding knowledge and trying to jam stuff in there when Edge didn't allow it at the time.
I'm currently recreating the site from scratch, but hoping to make it all one cohesive page, instead of every animation having to be on a new page.
My main issue now is that when I have any animation play the next one will overlap and block one another and it becomes a pretty big mess. So my question is is it possible to do a full site full of animations with Edge Animate (and/or with Edge Reflow)? Or is it better to try something else?

JS error on export with Edge Animate?

Ive just started messing around with Edge Animate and Muse. The first time or two that I exported it worked. But I'm not sure what I did but now everytime I export I ge tthis:

Great. I must tell you that the most common cause of JavaScript errors on a Muse page is .js files missing from the server or .js files, or other files on the server, not all being from the save version of Muse. If you're using an external FTP client, you must re-upload all files and folders whenever a site is exported using an updated version of Muse (since the code generated by Muse changes from release to release to improve page load performance, support new features, address new browser versions and/or devices, etc., etc.).
The second most common cause of JavaScript errors on a Muse page is buggy embed code and/or embed code that conflicts with the JavaScript used by Muse.

Why wont Edge Animate preview after placing .oam file in Muse?

I placed my Edge Animate Animation into Muse but it wont preview when I select preview. It does not even show image or play animation. I followed instruction to place edge animation and in publish setting selected the animate deployment package. Deselected the frameworks via CDN (read this should not be selected but also tried it selected) made sure the stage is transparent. I saved it and published.. In Muse I selected the Place option and selected the .oam file and placed it into my webpage. The placed file shows with animation image. I made sure to link the asset to file but it will not preview or play animation. Please help!

I need help please. Did anyone do a whole page animation in Edge Animate and place the OAM file into Muse, and somehow all the menu and social media icon buttons in Muse are blocked by the placed animation? All my menu buttons, social media icon buttons and a link are not working (blocked by the transparent AN stage). I can't go to any other pages because of this issue when previewed in browser. My animation is a slide-open page from center of the page to both right and left side, also text moved up to the top. All are moved out of the stage once animation finished to show the home page with contents, including menu and social media icon buttons. Thanks for your help in advance!!

That answers why the two G4's talk normally! I do
have the TCP/IP settings set up manually.
Well, if they are already set manually, maybe you should change them to Auto-negotiate. You shouldn't have to use the Manual setting at all. If you so, then someone, usually the people who wrote the driver for the network card, have screwed something up. It then becomes your job to fix it.
The problems are just very slow document/file
transfer from either new to old or old to new
computer over network, which usually is great with
the two G4's.
That is probably the problem. You may want to go ahead and setup the new machine with manual settings to match the G4s. Otherwise, even the Internet will be noticeably slower.
As for Target Disk Mode...so reboot the old G4
holding the T key and the hard drive should show up
on the desktop of the new computer?
That will do it. It is the best and fastest option to transfer large amounts of data. But even target disk mode is kind of slow. A real, external firewire hard drive will be the fastest of all. It is an excellent idea for backups and this kind of thing.

Try unplugging the AC adapter, removing the battery, then holding the power button down for a minimum of 30 seconds. Then plug the AC back in and try to power it up. If it does, good. Muse CC does not display Edge Animate with Audio

I am learning to use Edge Animate. I created an animation consisting of an image of a large rock concert. I added animation to create multiple flashbulbs like you see at concerts, and placed it in Muse. Worked great! Then I went back and added audio of cheering fans. It previews fine in Animate CC, but when I place it in Muse I just get a screen with nothing on it. If I back out the animation, it shows and plays fine. What am I doing wrong?

Integrate Edge Animate trigger to Muse anchors?

I've created an 8 second animation in Edge for my home page (Made with Muse). When the animation finishes I want the page to automatically scroll down to an anchor I've placed like it would if I clicked an object with a hyperlink.
I've inserted a Trigger @ 8000 ms with the following code [ window.location.hash = "#about"; ]
When I preview or publish my website the animation works perfectly but at the end of the 8 seconds instead of scrolling down to the anchor, it reloads the entire page instead. It does reload to the anchor which is a start but not what I'm hoping to achieve.
How can I solve this? Am I using the wrong code in the trigger?

I have temp. published the animation in html and javascript format and inserted those files into Muse using MuCow script. The automatic scroll to the anchor is now working but the animation for some reason takes a good while to load. So still looking for a solution to above?

My .MP4 video file won't "play video full screen" in Muse after I publish my .OAM out of Edge Animate. When I "Preview In Browser" through Edge it plays (I have created a shape and used the "play video full screen" snippet) in full screen mode just fine. When I "Preview Site In Browser" through Muse and click on the shape to PLAY VIDEO FULL SCREEN, it does nothing. I am new to both programs and can't figure out why it will work out of the preview window in Edge and won't work when I publish to Muse. Does anybody have an answer or a work-around for me?

Problem with Edge Animate oam file's autoplaying inside Muse

Hi,
I have created a Donut Chart animation in Edge Animate. It has 6 donut charts. Each chart is a symbol with animation inside. Everything looks good in edge animate. But, the problem is the .oam file is not working like I want inside Muse. The scroll effect function of is not working. It autoplays every time, regardless of the scroll settings applied. I am using Edge Animate 2014.1.1 and Muse 2014.3.1. So, it's kind of the latest versions.
I tried several different methods. I found out that the animation works fine in Muse if I don't use any symbol in Edge Animate. Then the scroll function works like a charm. But if I use symbols, then the scroll function stops working. I want to use symbols for a reason. Because, I am making the website as a template to sell and want to include Edge Animate animations in it. Without using the symbols, it will create several objects in one place. And it would be too hard for people, with less knowledge of the program, to edit them.
What should I do now? Please help!

Please double click on the symbol and make sure "autoplay " is unchecked in the stage properties. then republish the OAM file and then try.
If the issue still persist please share the compressed project file with us to take a look at it.
