Support for Nokia Belle is ongoing and will be maintained upto and including 2016. Instagram is owned and operated by Facebook. As they use a propriety system and do not allow 3rd party development for their system it would be upto them to create an app for Symbian. You might want to contact them to make your wishes known.

There is a huge number of apps for Symbian.
Up to about 2010 it was the leading operating system in smartphones.
What Nokia don't have is the Apple IOS type of well organised app shop. A lot of Symbian app developers sold their apps directly, and a lot have withdrawn the apps from the shop for some bizzare reason. Those in the latter group who don't sell them directly are a problem and you have to google for the .sis file and eventually you will find one that installs.
Both the Nokia app shop and the Apple app shop are 95% useless garbage, however, and that will always be the case for smartphones because there are loads of app developers who think they are going to get rich by writing some near-useless app and selling a million of them for €0.50 each.

That's interesting. Can you post the date my phone is going to stop working? With 26,746 posts you are probably well connected and know the exact date.

Adobe Photoshop for Symbian Belle phones

Why an adobe photoshop aplication wasn't released for symbian belle devices especially for N8, 808 pureview.
These are the two best camera phones ever released.
Adobe photoshop app is available for windows phones & andriod phones...then why not for symbian phones???

Nokia has already abandoned Symbian long time ago in favour of Windows Phone.

I would Like to ask if someone would be so kind and tell me where or how couls I download Adobe Flash Player ite 2.1 for Symbian Belle?
I registered on Adobe and gone to downloading page clicked to link :

When I do so I am redirected to another page and no download has started not any explanaton to what happaned was given.

Its kind funny. The Nokia Store site says not available for C3-01. The Nokia Suite says it is & installs it. But the phone says error.

Skype for Symbian Belle

Hello.
I'm wondering if skype will be ever available for Symbian Belle. If I'm visiting m.skype.com, it says "Skype isn't available for your device". They say also that they'r working hardlly every day to add new devices, but it seems like they do nothing to add Symbian Belle. I had some version of skype that was "available" for Belle, but it was wery unsable, so it's better to use nothing instead of that version. So can't Nokia do anything about it? Or does anybody know if Skype will be available for Belle?

I was try differnt versions of skype. From Ovi store also...From website can't download!

Iv been using the 808 , the best camera phone no doubt and a long way ahead other mobiles in the camera sector but ironically it does not have the trending photo sharing application .. I hope nokia makes it available , if someone has details please reply , Thanks

When I go to download Instagram for my Ipod Touch 3G it says IOS 6 is required but I't only allows me to update to IOS 5. Why is that? and is there a way I can download Instagram? Thank you.

but all my friends have android phones.i know symbian is dead already behind android because lack of application games and just like that.nowadays peoples are going to buy a fully powered android phone with cheap rate .no one willnot ready to buy a nokia 701 worth rs15000 but a geonee m2,nokia symbian phones are costly.so why dont nokia give a meego update for 2nd generation belle device knowing although belle is dead? why dont nokia give new application n nokia store.iam really boared with lack of games.all my friends have temple run and dr.drive games.nokia devices not have this games.so please give the meego update (i have seen android working on meego devices).please reply me

Shortage Of Hd Games For Symbian Belle FP1

In gameloft website , atleast 100+ hd games available for android . But For Nokia There Is Only 8/10 games . That is why ? We have only 15/20 hd games from all developers . But for android , minimum 200 hd games . When we get more hd games for us ? I mailed nokia about this but no such action taken yet . So why we buy nokia ?

Not sure why you think you've got until 2016, that is only the date that support will end. Support does not mean new apps, updates or development, it simply means that they will provide telephone assistance and honour any remaining warranties.
As far as many developers and retailers are concerned symbian started to die in early 2011. With the 808 being the last symbian device and FP2 being the last major update it is now undesirable for developers. This is always what was going to happen when they announced symbian's end back in Feb 2011 along with retailers no longer stocking as many symbian based products.
Nokia cannot force developers to make games and it is no longer financially viable spending resources on a platform that has seen it's final device released. Symbian is the past, Nokia's future is now with Windows Phone devices.

Restart your device , then open the maps - Open Weather from Menu - Then add the widget ( don't close map & Weather until the widget shows the data ) Or , Try to download another application from Nokia Store , You definitely find more suitable apps than the inbuilt weather system,

Does the SIP Profile work for Symbian Belle?

This is an interesting device, however besides having to have a seperate application for Wifi Hotspot, I am wondering if the so-called "application" for SIP VoIP calls, as per older handsets will in fact work or would it need upgrading.

I had the same problem while testing Nokia 603 and it took a week to get the solution, so I'm happy to share my experience now...
SIP profile works fine, but you still need to download a widget from Ovi Store in order to configure Internet telephony profile and activate VoIP calls. Unfortunately it seems that no VoIP provider has released own widgets, so you can't use Internet calls even if you setup SIP profile and registration to SIP server is ok. But there is a solution...
You can download a little app from Nokia develeoper site, which enables hidden configuration and let you access to manual configuration of Internet telephony profile... same as it used to happen with older Nokia devices.
After installing the app you can create a default Internet telephony profile associated to the SIP profile created before. After doing this, when you enter the contact list or oper the dialer, you can find a new menu option to call via Internet. Not easy, but it works!

All format mobile Video Player for Symbian Belle F...

Hi,
Can anyone please suugest me a video player which i can download and install in my nokia 808 pureview phone to play almost all video/audio format files? I did tried to install UC Player from online different sites but unsigned versions showing certificate errors and signed versions showing certificate expired.
I would be grateful if anyone can help me with the same and provide me with alink to download and install as well.

Hi. My problem is that nokia social does not load images. In facebook whenever i open a image it does not load. Please update the app.

Foursquare uses propriety software. You can install the separate app if available for your device through Nokia Store.
