Plan to buy a new router today for PC plus Ipad

My Linksys Wireless G has worked fine. I have not experienced the problems with the ipad i have read about in here.
However, I want more speed. I pay the "turbo" rate for my cable modem. When my PC is direct connected to the modem I get incredible bandwidth. The Wireless G router loses too much. I am willing to pay up $200.
I work from home so the PC is the priority. But I don't want problems with the iPad.
What wireless N router is best suited for the job? I have read CNet reviews and none of them specifically address my concern.

I created this post a year ago. The Cisco Valet has been great. I didnt have a problem until about six months into the ownership of that router. After one of the IOS updates, my IPad and iPhone started dropping their connections and recovering it about 30 seconds later. When that started, I read on the forum to change the router settings to use either channel 1 or 11 instead of "auto." That solved the only problem I have had with this router. I currently have the PC (for work), iPad 2, iPhone 3GS (holding out for iPhone 5), HP printer/copier/scanner/fax/photo-printer which use AirPrint, and an Xbox360. Everything works great. No drops.

Thanks for the help. Now I can feel comfortable in not having to sign up for cellular when I buy, esp. Since I'll be using my new IPad mostly at home on my Cox wi fi. Then I can see, in using the i pad, how often I'd actually use the cellular, and where. This can help decide which type of cell plan I get. Small problem it may seem, but a very helpful answer. At one time Apple use to put an Apple firmware on the drives installed into Mac computer. That is not the case anymore. And even if they did that firmware was just to indentify the drive as an Apple drive. Those same drives would work in any computer and any drive would work in a Mac computer. Same is true today. There are NO Apple Mac drives. Apple uses the exact same drives as any other computer.
Apple uses the exact same hardware as all other computers. Same CPU, GPU, RAM, Drives, DVD drives you name it, it is the same as any PC.
Good Luck but just because you go to a Mac-centric store doesn't mean it is any different then what you would buy some place else, other then it may cost more from one of those Mac-centric places.

Also. Don't get rid of your old PC before you make sure everything is working OK on the new one. This seems basic, but you would not believe the number of folks who do this.
If you keep the old PC you can always keep using it until the new one's setup is perfect.

Personally I would go for white, because everyone I know who has an iPhone has the black one

Just user to user....based on past and current history, Adobe Tech Support is not going to help you with a technical issue which is preventing you from using your purchased serial number for Photoshop Elements. Version 12 is not the current version. And, the Adobe Tech Support is limited even for the current version which is 13. If this matter involves a purchased activated serial number trapped on a crashed computer while you are trying to install on a 3rd computer, then probably Adobe Chat Activation can be of assistance. If that is the case and you want to explore that possibility, then click on the following link

Backup your data off the machine to a external drive (not TimeMachine) and disconnect.
Create another Admin account in System Preferences and log into it, delete your Admin Account and reboot.
Optional: Open Disk Utility and Erase Free Space (Zero good enough, 7x for military level, both take time)
This should be good enough to remove just your account and data without the hassle of reinstalling the OS and all new programs again.
However if you need that level, then c boot off the 10.6 disk (or command r boot on Lion) and use Disk Utility there to Zero or 7x erase the OSX drive/partition, quit and reinstall OS X. Much more work that likely is unnecessary in your case.
