I am planing to buy UK Skypein number for my 3 phone, so that my family can call me easily using the skypein number which is more like a landline number.
My question is that if i am called on skypein number , will i be able to receive calls on my 3 mobile phone using skype service on 3 network UK?

If you buy an iphone 4 in Korea, it is carrier locked to SK telecom or Show, depending on which carrier you get it from. Notifying a user that an Urgent Change Request has been Approved, or Denied

Trying to figure out the best way to have an email go back to a user after a Change Request has been updated with either an Approved or Deny
What we do now is after a user creates an Urgent Change Request, and email goes out to all of our Managers. One of them will reply all to the email with either an [approval] or [deny] in the message body so Service Manager gets the email and acts on
it and the other Managers know it was acted on.
Problem is, if the Manager forgets to add in the Change Requester in the email, they don't know it was acted on. I tried using WorkFlows for Change Request to update the Change Requester of an update but there is nothing in there for Approval or Deny.
I then resorted to subscriptions but can't figure out how to configure the subscription so that only the Change Requester gets the email. We can configure different email templates based on the whether the change was approved or denied. Just need to figure
out how to configure the Recipient.

I've checked the link and found it working. Of course, it works only if the RA is a direct child of work item itself (so for RAs encapsulated in SA or PA it doesn't work).

It does work even if it is within a PA or SA or even deeper, you "just" have to follow the path to the CR from there. But then you would need a subscription for each RA depending on where it is in the flow. Try to make your users understand that :D

If you're asking about Live Capture, where you record the camera feed direct to hard disk, then you need a Firewire interface or one of the (few) supported HDMI/SDI cards such as the AJA Kona, Matrox MX02 or BlackMagic Intensity Pro - however those have very specific motherboard requirements so you need to research them carefully before buying anything.

I have searched and not found an up to date understandable answer as how
to join 2 working portable same (apple ID) user iTunes folders into one itunes folder
while above all else preserving hand edited Abum Artwork and hand edited tags.
( It was many hours of hand edited added Album Artwork and editing of tags )
Situation is Windows 7 ( 64 bit ) with current iTunes installed ( 2014-03-17 )
The hard drive crashed and the old \iTunes folder and all old contents have been copied and backed up.
The windows 7 64 bit and latest iTunes 64 bit has been re-installed cleanly ( no old music added )
Music from the iTunes cloud was then added/downloaded into iTunes
Now \itunes has 40 gig of music available to play.
Now I want to join the currently installed working \itunes folder ( 40 gig of music )
with the old saved \itunes folder ( 100 gig of music ) into just one \iTunes folder
with preserving the current Album Artwork and editing of "tags" of both folders.
I have seen previous answers that use words like " consolidate " , " export / import ",
" merge " , " apple home sharing " , " use explorer to copy ..." , ect
none of which mentioned if the current Album Artwork
or tags survive unchanged from their current "specially edited" status.
I know their may be the ineviatable "duplicates", but there seems
to be several ways to handle them. ( If you know the best way to
prevent or remove duplicates in this situation with joining two
iTunes folders in Windows please include that information also ).
Please provide an explanation of how to join these 2 iTunes folders
in Windows 7 into one \iTunes folder while preserving Album Artwork and tags.

Mike, thanks for the response. I will try this. I'll have to dig around here too, bc I want to know more about how I can import a windows xml file (while replacing the drive paths) and it creating a seperate itunes library with the pointers on the mac. Essentially, I have 2 libraries and there may not be a way around this with a windows machine and a mac - ive read plenty on Choose library on open, and mac to mac, windows to windows.
I also need to know more about what is getting stored in the album art folders. I believe it seems that when you select all, and copy the image in the artwork get info page its actually embedding these images in the files themselves, but if you paste into the left bottom artwork display pane its just adding where?? If I deleted the contents of this folder what would happen, should I not be copying this content?
If I update the images on the mac and swap out the drive paths and move the external drive back to the windows box, will i lose any updates I did while on the mac?

Estimating number of concurrent requests

Hello,
I want to estimate the number of concurrent requests that my server application may need to handle.
Here are 3 approaches I tried to compute the probability of concurrent requests. Each of them gives different results, and obviously some of the results are palin wrong.
It's been a while since I've learnt probabilities, I used to be comfortable with them back then, but this time's over it seems.
Can you help me point out the flaw in the reasoning of each approach (that's for my culture), and, better yet, suggest how to correctly estimate the reasonable number of concurrent requests the server will have to handle (that's for my current problem)?
Preliminary assumptions:
Here are the figures, to fix ideas, and illustrate examples given below of the approach I took.
The application will have 1000 users, each of them issuing 10 requests per day.
Each request take approx 1 minute to be processed.
Users are supposed evenly distributed over worlwide timezones, and the requests are supposed to be evenly distributed over the time of a day (which is not true for a single given user, but is true if enough users are evenly distributed over timezones).
Users are supposed to work independantly of each other, so the probabilities of their actions are independant.
*1) Approach 1: brute linear approach:*
Each user uses 10 requests * 60s/rq = 600s of server time per day.
1000 users therefore use 600,000 seconds of server time; as there are 86400s per day, in average the server is serving *600K/86,K = approx 7* request at any instant of the day.
*2) Approach 2: estimate probability of N concurrent requests*
Each user uses 600s of server time per day.
So the probability to be serving one given user at any given instant of one day seems to be *600/86,400 = approx 0.007*
The probability to be serving N given users at any given instant is therefore 0.007 pow N.
As we don't care about which specific N users are served, the probability to be serving whatever N users is therefore: *(0.007 pow N)xC(1000,N)* where C(1000,N) is the binomial coefficient for subsets of N elements among 1000.
For N=7 it gives a probability of approx 151%
For N=10 it gives a mighty 68%
You have to wait above N=20 to fall under a 1% probability
*3) Approach 3: estimate probability of "not N" concurrent requests*
Each user uses 600s of server time per day.
So the probability to not serve one given user at any given instant of one day seems to be *85,800/86,400 = approx 0.993*
The probability to not serve N given users at any given instant is therefore *0.993 pow N* .
This probability is interesting for big values of N (the probability to serve m users = probability to not serve N=1000-m users), which for N=993 gives 0.09%
But if I multiply by the binomial coefficient, the value is much above 1 for almost all values of N (interestingly, N=999 gives 95%, and N=1000 (0 user served) is 0.09%, but these results are probably artifacts of the floating point computations).
What mixes me up are the following questions:
Q1) Is approach 1 reasonable enough?
It seems to be modelling a degenerate form of approach 2, where the requests would not be randomly spread over the day, but optimally organized in queues.
I cannot force this usage pattern.
Q2) How would you approach this estimation? Do you have a better approach?
Q3) Obviously the formula in approach 2 is wrong at some point as for certain values of N it is above 1.
It is expected that the probability for these values of N is 1, as the linear formula prooves that it is not possible to fit all 40000 requests into one day under a concurrency level of 7. But >1 is mathematically incorrect, so what is the flaw in the reasoning, that leads to this formula?
Q4) What worries me in approach 2 is that I actually use approach 1 to compute the basic probability of 0.007, then use this result in the supposedly more general formula. I'm not sure whether the computing of the 0.007 qualifies as a deduction or as an assumption?
Q5) What's wrong with approach 3 (probability to not serve N clients)? Why are the results inconsistent with approach 2?
Q6) What worries me too is that I based all three approaches on instants of duration zero ("the probability that at any instant..."). Should I instead try to compute "the probability that over a period of 1 second, one user issues a request"? How does this modify the reasoning and the formulaes?

When it becomes difficult to get closed form solutions then resort to simulation. The following is a basic event simulation of 1 days of your problem as I understand it but using a uniform random active period. It will be trivial to change the active distribution to match your exact requirement. You will need to add JFreeChart to the classpath to run it.
One advantage of this form of simulation is that one can easily add logic such as that to throttle the response and then examine how this affects users.

Get Count of the number of Leave Request .

Hi All,
Can u suggest any FM or a particaular way which will return a number of leave request pending for approval on a particular name.
See the scenario is i need to show a overview screen in which it will show number of Leave request or Time Regularization left in a persons name.
i cant go in abap code of that program and get the count form the internal table cause delay in loading the application on the portal.

check ptarq_reqlist_tab_flat (i dnt have r/3 connection check it is table or structure)
a class defention where you can get help cl_pt_cor_reqs_list (open with tranx SE24)
method -> sel_reqs_tevents_for_next_proc

STMS: Add a great number of transport requests to the queue

Hi everybody!
we make a system copy and I have two questions regarding this.
1. After the system has been copied, we have to add a great number of transport requests to the transport queue (transaction STMS). Is there a report to to this?
2. Of course, the transport requests added to the queue have to be imported. Is it possible to mark them all at a time and then start the import? I mean, if one specific object (for instance a reportsource) is part of several transport requests, does the STMS ensure that they are imported in the correct order, so that the following won't happen: a imported object is overwritten by a older version.

As Sunny said you can do it from OS as there is no SAP program. Create a file with the all transports no. that you want to add to the buffer at the OS level. Here is the script that we use:

For you second question, the sequence of import into the system will be based on how they are listed in the STMS queue. So first transports goes first then the second, third and so on.

Not able to assign Project to the Urgent Change Request with Developer Id with the existing Authorizations. With SAP_ALL authorization, everything works fine.

The Urgent Change request is in created status and I am not able to assign project to it. Also I am not able to change the status of the change request to In developement with developer's Id. Everything works fine if i assign SAP_ALL authorization to the developer.

Number of current Requests in infoCube

Hi, I looked into table RSREQICODS to determine the number of current requests in my infocube, but it seems like it has more that I know to exist in the InfoCube. I only have data starting from 2008, but in the table when I specify the InfoCube I see time stamps of 2006.
What table can I use to determine the number of current requests in my infocube?

As you don't say what you are supicious about it's difficult to know what problem it is that you think that you have.
You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu option on your computer's iTunes), though I'm not sure if that shows in-app purchases and/or auto-renewing subscriptions . If you haven't purchased anything and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes support via this page if you have charges that you don't think that you should have : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

when i want to send a sms of string of unicode. is it necessary to encode it in UTF8 or UTF16 ???
when i encode it then the length of the string comes larger.
can i send sms as a string of unicode without changing its length????
like this:

By default SMS has it's own text encoding and therefore you cannot use UTF8 nor UTF16. There is a special UCS2 encoding, alowing for 70 unicode characters to be send (per sms). See: http://www.dreamfabric.com/sms/
