Planing via MD01 only for one storage location

I have the following setup:
Plant p1 has storage locations sl1, sl2, sl3, ... sl9
In transaction mm43 (display retail material) I can see the following setup of the material:
Dispositionsparameters:
-MRP Type V2, ... and so on
Behind Button MRP/Forecast Data I can switch to for example storage location sl3 and there I can see
Storage Location MRP:
-SLOC MRP indicator = 2
-Reorder point = 50
-Replenishment qty = 70
I think its meant like the following: if the material in storage location sl3 is equal or below 50 then there will be a goods movement from the "main storage location" to the storage location sl3 with 70 pieces of the material. Afterwards there would be 130 in the sl3.
Maybe its a good thing to run "the report" every day in the evening so that the sl3 location will be filled up every day if necessarily.
Now the questions:
Is the transaction MD01 "the report"? I have no chance of setting up the storage location there.
Where can I check whats the "main storage location", the location where the replenishment comes from?
Some of my colleagues mentioned the Transaction MB26 where they check the planed for replenichment materials. Is this at all usefull in this context? They told me the list is reacting very slow... so if they run out of stock of some material then "the list" recognizes this 2 or 3 days later.

What you setup in OMIR will just be the default for a material master created after this customizing, when an existing material will be extented or a new material will be created.
It does not impact the MRP run directly.
You have to maintain the MRP view in your existing materials for the desired storage location as well. There you have to enter this MRP indicator manually or with MM17.
However, the MRP will in general run per plant, for all locations, it will just plant the locations separatly if the indicator is set.
If you really want an extra run per storage location, then you have to use the user exit (you see the 2 fields at the bottom of the MD01 screen).
the user exit has to be customized in IMG > production > MRP > planning > user exit material seelection

This report u can get in 2 different transaction . the n u can combine and create one custom transaction .
One is for materil stock in storage location is MB52 or MB5B
THen ME2N for open PO quantity for that material. -
Need Inspection lot creation at only one storage location level - QA07

I have shelf life expired material at different storage location. When ever i run QA07.System generates inspection lot for all storage location.But I want to process the inspection lot for only one storage location. Please guide me how can we map this reqmnt.

Next inspection date is maintained at the batch level, not at the storage location level.
You can suggest the following solutions if it is feasible in your business scenario.
Scenario 1: Batch is inwarded in one storage location"A" & stored for some time, then it is transfered to other storage loactions B & C (like production storage locations).
In this case suggest to transfer the batch to storage loactions B & C just one or two days before the actual consumption of the batch & also keep the opening period in QA07 sufficient days (between 10-15 days), so that the sytem will create the inspection lot in one storage location "A" . Since the batch is still not transfered to B & C, the system will not create inspection lots in B&C.
Scenario 2: Batch is inwarded in all the storage locations with the same batch number.
In this case suggest to inward the same bacth with different batch numbers, keeping the all other characteristic values same

MD04 - Display the stock on one storage location particulary.
The transaction MD04 allows seeing the stock of the plant in the first line of the Stock/requirement list.(MD04)
When the plant includes several storage location (e.g MAG1, MAG2, MAG3), we don't have the detail of the quantity one each storage location.
We can use the filter (by using SETTINGS and FILTER ON) that controls the display of the MRP list and the stock/requirements list but this function don't allows seeing only the stock on one storage location particulary. We have to go the tcode MMBE in order to know the stock on each storage location.

Display the stock storage location-wise is one thing and do MRP without certain storage location(s) (=exclude storage locations from MRP) might be another.
If you only want to display stock of certain storage locations in MD04 but use all you stock for planning, I think there's no reason for it.
If you really want to exclude certain storage locations, then you have to be aware that MRP won't consider that stock (for the plant segment). It will also have impact on ATP (atp won't use that stock too).
So, there's a big difference between exclude a storage location from MRP and to exclude its stock from display.
(You can exclude storage locations from MRP via material master --> MRP4 view --> you have to enter both plant/sloc as organisational level and you will see the suitable tab. It is also possible to control this indicator via config for to be created material masters - you can search and find threads)
You should describe your exact requirement and maybe forum mebers can give you advice. -
MRP run without one storage location
Dear All,
My client's requirement is they need to run MRP on plant level without considering one storage location stock
e.g if a material is having stock of 10 in unrestricted with storage location 1104. Now when mrp is run for 100 quantity planned order is created for 90 only planning strategy is 40....they want the MRP should not consider the stock in storage location 1104.....how this can be made possibe?

The availability of components in an order can be checked automatically during order creation and/or order release. You specify in CustomizingOPJK per order type and plant whether the availability should be checked automatically. In addition, an automatic availability check can be carried out when the order is saved.
You can always trigger a manual availability check
The checking scope is defined via the Checking Group (in the material master) and the valid Checking Rule (in Customizing).
They define:
Which MRP elements are taken into account in the check
Which inventory categories are taken into account
Whether the replenishment lead time is taken into account
Whether the check is also to be carried out at storage location level
In Customizing (checking control) you specify which quantity is used to check the availability of a material. You can choose between the following:
Availability Check Against Planned Independent Requirements
In the check against planned independent requirements, the system only checks the open planned independent requirement quantities created for the components. This means that the ATP quantity is not included in this availability check nor are receipts or stocks.
This type of availability check is most useful:
if assembly planning or phantom assembly planning is used to plan the components
if quick statements about the availability situation are required and the results from this check are precise enough
The system uses the open planned independent requirements quantity at component level to determine a committed quantity and this quantity is copied to the planned order header in the Committed quantity field. As opposed to the availability check according to ATP logic, however, the committed quantity is not recorded in the dependent requirements. The planned independent requirements of the components are not consumed by the committed quantity but by the complete dependent requirements quantity. In availability checks that follow, the system can only commit quantities for the amount of planned independent requirements that have not yet been consumed.
In the availability check against planned independent requirements, the following dates/quantities are not calculated:
overall commitment date
partial commitment date/quantity
ATP quantity
In the check according to ATP logic, the system checks whether the dependent requirements of each component are covered by specific receipt and issue elements or by stock. This check is carried out dynamically, that is, each time you carry out the check, the system recalculates the current situation. If a quantity can be committed for the requirement date, the system enters precisely this quantity as the committed quantity in the dependent requirements and the ATP quantity for the components is reduced by the committed quantity. Therefore, in the next availability check, dependent requirements can only be committed for the amount of the remaining ATP quantity. -
Warehouer Management for existing storage locations...

We have several storage locations and only one of them was WM. All other storage locations do have stocks but they are not under WM. Now we decide to bring one of the other storage location under Warehouse Management... Which steps we should follow to avoid any future problems in the Warehouse?

Modifying Existing Partitions on HDDs to be used ONLY for Mass Storage.
I've included an image of my Disk Configs. I want to use Disk 1 and Disk 2 ONLY for mass storage. Therefore, I would like to have as few partitions and virtual drives (volumes) as possible. Currently I can only change the name of the
first named (lettered) drive/volume on each HDD. (Note: Drive 1 will contain one or more System Images generated by Windows 8.1 Recovery). How do I make each drive more or less partitionless and named by only one letter? Further, since Drive 1
will be used to store system images, does it need any special partitioning assuming some day I may want to recover the system from that drive? Now my requirement is these 5 storage locations belog to 5 different profit centers.
Can we assign different profit center for each storage location?

It is not happening because the profit center area is defined as General plant parameters. It is denoting the Profit Center is at Plant level and not at storage location level.

I tried to do a consignment movement 411K (from special stock K to own stock), inside ONE storage location, from storage type T1 to storage type T2.
Unfortunately I have not any MM document with consignment consuption
(mov 411K).
Is it possible have this behavior ? Or not?

If you want to change the consignment stock as your own stock then you need to transfer posting using 411 K for that consignment material which will create material document and accounting document (to make the consignment stock as valuated stock). Then you need to create the TO based on this transfer posting using LT06 with reference to material document.
If you will try to change the status of material at warehouse level then it will create discrepancy in your valuate stock at IM level and WM level.

Getting building code for teh storage location in the output
HI !
In one of my program I ahve to bring in several plant details as well external bill of lading deatils as well as the building code . I have been able to get the other details except for the building code which needs to come from teh adrc table I suppose. Actually not able to connect the detaisl to grab in the building code. Would anyone be able to help me out in getting the building code for the storage location in my program if possible .

it does give me the correct storage location building
code , bust as soon as I put a range of plant say 120 to 300
it copies the the storage location building code
of the previous plant itself which si contradictory.

even when I do the range of selection like when I do
a single selection of plant.
For example when I select the range between 0135 and 0351

NDSHi, It is not possible to delete the storage location from MMSC once it is saved, Material gets extended for that storage location, U have to delete the material at the storage location level.
Now the only option to delete this assignment is with archiving.

Setup of iWork in your wife's account should only occur the once.
Updates can be performed through your account and are usually performed via Software Update.
Messages should not be popping up in your wife's account if all the iWork updates have been performed.
Go to Software Update and download and install all the iWork updates.
Unless you keep OSX up-to-date, messages will continue to come up when your wife logs into her account. -

Normally, planning is useally carried out at plant level, however you can do MRP at Sloc level as well.
Safety stock is planning data which is defined for entire plant where as reorder level and replinishment quantity can be defined saperately for each storage location, but not safety stock.

During confirmation or reprocessing the goods movement we can split the goods movement. This can be done in Goods movement over view.
Functions:
1. We can change the reqmts qts , plant, sloc and special stock.
2.We can use the function split goods movements to enter sevaral goods movements for one reservation.
3. We can use this function if we withdraw material components from different sloc.
