Planned delivery date

I have following scenario.
Vendor Price terms is Exworks.
we have planned delivery time in material Master MRP view as Vendor manufacturing time. We may use Air or Ocean for Transit. I want delivery date in PO based on mode of trnasit.
Example
for a Material, vendor lead time for Manufacture is 30 days.
transit time for Air is 3 days and 30 days for Ocean
I want exact plannned delivery date in PO after considering the mode of despatch. I have set 30 days in Material master Planned delivery date.
How to get exact planned delivery time in PO to receive material at our ware house based on mode of transit in ECC.
Thanks
Madhavan

Hi Jurgen
I am exatly looking for the same. Is there any way we can proivide transit dates based on transit mode in ECC and transit mode in PO so that the Planned delivery date in PO is calculated exactly based on mode of transport ? I am looking for something similar to Route determination in SD.

  • Planned Delivery Date and Actual Delivery date.

    Hi,
Is there a report in SAP which shows the delivery date of a PO line item and actual GR posting date from PO history in one report?
I need to display the planned delivery date and actual delivery date in one report, preferably in columns next to each other.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
To my knowledge there is no such report. You will have to develop this report through ABAP help. You need to pick the planned delivery date from the PO and GR posting date from material document. Both this fields (EEIND & BUDAT) can be viewed in the PO history.
However, challenge will be when you have multiple delivery dates and receipt posting dates are for part quantities.

  • 10.7 ERP Question on Planned Shipment Date and Planned Delivery Date

    Hi All,
I have a 10.7 ERP question related to Planned shipment date and Planned Delivery Date which are on shipment::released event.
Are these held and displayed at the shipset / shipment level on ERP database
and forms or are they held & displayed at theline level ?
This question is specific to Oracle ERP 10.7
    Thanks,
    SM

I do not believe 10.7 documentation is available online anymore. Release 11 documentation is available at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/A60725_05/r11_doc.htm - the functionality closely resembles 10.7

  • Reg Plan Delivery Date - MRP - Calender Days

    Hi
    This is what i understood
Plnd dely time - Calendar Days [which means including weekends]
GR Processing & Purchase Processing Days - Working Days
    Now, Suppose
    Requirement Date is 06-05-2010.
Plnd dely time - 5 days
    Gr Processing daye = 0
    Purchase Processing Days = 0
When MRP Run and Creates PR with a delivery date 06-05-2010 and PR Release Date = 01.05.2006 [06/05/2010 - 5days]
Which means buyer must convert this PR by 01.05.2006 which is Saturday, which is nonworking day.
There can be a chance that buyer might miss this instances. How do we face these issues
Since Plan delivery date is calendar dates which might push to release dates to weekends, Please suggest

    334,
You can alter any of the 3 durations to meet any of your unique business requirements.
Without knowing why the existing durations have been set the way they are, I can't really answer your question.  If it were me, and the client raised this as an issue, I would probably suggest to the client that he increase the Purchasing processing time to 1 day.
What you do, however, is up to you and the business requirements of your client.

  • Issue in determination of planned delivery data in PR.

    Hello,
I have an issue in PR, where planned delivery time is picked wrongly. PR is created through MRP.
In info record, the planned delivery time is 8, in vendor master record planned delivery time is 0, and no contract exists. But when PR is created automatically through MRP, planned delivery time is 10 in PR. How is this possible, from where else does planned delivery time flow?
There are 4 materials in PO, among which 3 materials have pl.del time as 1 and for the fourth the time is 10, because of which when delivery is created for PO using VL10B, 3 materials are planned in one delivery and the fourth material is planned in another. Split in delivery is occurring. Statistical delivery dates are the same for all the four materials.
Please help e regarding this issue.
    Regards,
    Krishna Bharadwaj.

    Hi Krishna,
What is the planned delivery time of the material in the material master?
Also are you assigning the source of supply in the PR and have mentioned the Porg?

  • The loading date, transportation date and planned date on the STO are the same as Delivery dates.

    Hi,
We have created a Intra plant STO (plant to plant in the same company code). The planned delivery date is 4 days. So if I create a STO today (27th march), the delivery date is 31st march (excl Saturday and Sunday).
During delivery creation, the loading date, transportation date and planned date are also coming as 31st march. The route determination for the given shipping point and route shows 2 days for transit and 4 hours for pick pack. There is no loading time maintained for the given combination.
Can you please advice why are the dates coming the same as delivery date during delivery creation without considering the duration maintained in route determination ?
    Thanks!!!
    Anuja

    Hi,
This is a standard behavior of SAP in case of Stock Transfer PO.
If you want that the delivery date of receiving plant be transferred to supplying plant, please use BADI MD_STOCK_TRANSFER.
    Hope this helps.

  • Scheduling problem with delivery date in purch.req and requirement date

    Dear all,
I have the problem, that the calculated delivery date in the purchase requisition does not correspond with the requiement date of the production or planned order.
I would like to use planned delivery times in the material master.
    Example:
    Planned delivery time: 20 days
    Todays date 01.10
    Case 1)
Requiement date of planned order 10.10
    Case 2)
Requiement date of planned order 20.09
This situation can happen in our envirnoment, as the engineering process still continues after start of production. In this case I would like to have the following result:
    Case 1)
Delivery date is 10.10 minus the goods receipt time
    Case 2)
Delivery date is day of MRP or one or two days more
I made the setting that dates in the past are not allowed. This solves my first smal problem. I tried to set the scheduling margin key but these settings do not help me, as they are relevant for all materials. I need of course individual planned delivery dates per material.
So, I want to change the standart MRP procedure that in the case of the "wished requirement date" not the calculated date is beeing taken, but the "wished date". Usually you receive an exeption for this case and you would need t solve this manually. But this we dont want to do.
Can s.o. please help me? Thank you all very much, I really dont know what to do in this case.
    With best regards,
    Bjoern

The question cannot be answerd by SAP standart as I see. We will go through a workaround.

  • MD04--- Delivery date--***URGENT***

    Hello Gurus,
In md04 the delivery date is pushed out to open sales order date and i see exception 15
What setting in the system makes it look for dependent requirements
WE WANT delivery date as per PLANNED LEAD TIME
Can any one help me get through this
    Will award  full points

what is checking group 32 what is <b>And planned delivery date is 95</b>
    I am not getting you.
If there is no commited date in the PO, that means available qty is zero?
Why are you using STO, you told it is PO?
If I correct- you create a sales order, then you create PO to get that material
Now in sales order you have availability check activated, hence it will look for the receipt element.
Now you are creating PO manually and entering the delivery date manually...
let us say del date you eneterd today.
Your planned delivery days let us say 20 datys,
the system will say "can delivery date met? - it is warning message. if you stll save syetem will save that order.
Now when you see the date in MD04 and if you run MRP, then if the delivery date us not matching with SO delivery date, then system will give resceduling date, which willnot be copied to PO unless you change it.
    See below MD04 sumulation
    <b>DATE---recp/issue-resch date-qty--balance</b>
    20.11.2007Stock--
    0
    10.12.2007SO--
    -10 -
    -10
    15.12.2007PO10.12.2007-- 10 -
    0
Since as per the date proposed by system as per MRP2 view data(planned del days) is 15.12.2007. But required del date from SO is 10.12.2007, hence MRP reschedules and give youn indication that del date should be 10.12.2007 instead of 15.12.2007.
Is it the case with you? if not please give example like what i gave above.

  • Planned delivery time & GR Processing time

    Hi all,
I would require a clarification on this one,
Scenario - After an MRP run, the Purchase Requisitions for materials are generated & the order release date is being calculated by subtracting only the planned delivery time from the requirement date. But to the best of my knowledge
"Purchase Order release date = Requirement date - (Planned delivery date + GR Processing time)"
Solution required - Is my understanding correct & if so, where should i make the changes to include the GR processing time for the computation of order release date. Is there any other field which i need to add to my PO release date computation. An early response in this regard would be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Vivek

    Hi,
The order release date simply takes the requirement date and subtracts the planned delivery period (as you have indicated).
But this has ALREADY taken the GRP time into account and so you don't nedd to (and shouldn't) add it in again.
    For example,
Material A has a Planned delivery period of 10 days and a GRP time of 3 Days. The date that the production order is to be started is 30 July.
The MRP run sees the requirement date as 30 July but it also sees the 3 days GRP and so it asks for the item to be delivered 3 days prior to this date (27th July).
The planned delivery period is 10 days and so the PO will need to be created by the 17th July.
So the dates are correct and do not need any further changes.
If you were to take the GRP time off again this would be wrong.

  • Planned Delivery Time from Material Master instead of PIRs

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Do you know if there is a way to have MRP look at the Planned Delivery Time from the Material Master (MRP 2 tab) instead of the PIR?
We would like to create global PIRs with a PDT of 1 and have the Material Master PDT set to a different number (example 5).  So when MRP runs it will read 5 instead of 1.
    Any additional information is appreciated.
    Thank you
    -nic

    Hi Nicholas,
In Standard SAP will consider Planned delivery time maintained in Inforecord and than time maintained in Material master. Inforecord has higher priority than material master. When a requisition is manually created, the Planned Delivery date will always be taken from the material master.
For MRP you can make setting OMDT for your plant or MRP group to determine planned delivery time.
Deactive the flag 'Scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement' in Customizing (Plant or MRP group). and test the same.

  • Delivery Date for PR in Sales Order

    Dear All,
We have a case where Sales order will trigger a Purchase requisition when the Material is non-stock.
But when looking at the Delivery date for the Purchase Requisition in the Sales order, the delivery date is always the creation date, which is incorrect, the correct date should be calculate based on the planned delivery date in the material master.
Sales Order--> schedule lines --> Purchase Requisition
    Thank you very much,
    Regards,
    Chee Wee

    Dear Ravi,
Sorry, i did a tried to convert a PR into a PO, and which PR was triggered from SO.
The delivery date in the PO still the SO creation date, which is the same as the PR delivery date.
    Can you please advice?
    Thank you very much,

  • Delivery date from PO not updated with inbound delivery (EDI) date

    Dear all,
The delivery date in the purchase order (as per my understanding) is the purchase order creation date + the planned delivery time.
We are using EDI and an inbound delivery gets created when the shipping notification is received from the vendor.
The real inbound delivery (EDI) date is usually different from the planned delivery date of the purchase order. But the problem is that the delivery date from the PO is not getting updated with the EDI delivery date.
Is it possible to have the delivery date from the PO updated with the real EDI delivery date?
I need this because I want to calculate planned delivery costs based on the EDI delivery date, and so far when I post the goods receipt (Price Date Category = "Delivery date" in the PO), the system is taking the price valid at the delivery date from the PO instead of taking the price valid at the delivery date of the EDI message.
    Thanks a lot,
    Annabelle R.

We have applied the note 793478 "Change of the pricing date in EXIT SAPLEINR 003".
In our process flow, an inbound delivery is created with reference to the PO, then the goods receipt is done with reference to this inbound delivery.
When the option 5 "Goods receipt date" is selected in the Conditions Control tab of the purchase order, now when the goods receipt is posted, the price is calculated based on the inbound delivery date, which is what we wanted.

  • Delivery date in inbound delivery

    Hi
    WE have the following scenario
WE create a inter-company STO.  Outbound delivery is created against STO and then we do PGI.
Suppose planned delivery dt of OBD is 10-jan-2011 and actual PGI is done on 18-jan-2011.
After PGI we create inbuound delivery in receiving plant.  In inbound delivery, we are getting delivery date as planned delivery date of outbound delivery i.e. 10-jan-2011.  But we want actual PGI date i.e. 18-jan-2011 in delivery date of inbound delivery.
is it possible?  Please suggest how can we do this?

    Hi,
I think the issue is not related to inbound delivery. Because you probably would not only have delivery date at inbound delivery equal to PGI date. Instead it should be PGI+transit time. Hence, I believe what you should focus is to get planned delivery date corrected at your outbound delivery during PGI.
I do not think standard config supports rescheduling of planned dates at delivery during PGI (even if you setup rescheduling type 'A' at your delivery type). But you can always call SD_SCHEDULING FMs to get new delivery dates and get those posted from outbound to inbound deliveries.
