Planned Delivery time not considered after MRP run for scheduling

Dear All,
After running MRP, the planned delivery time maintained in Purchase info record is not taken into consideration for calculating start date of the schedule line of externally procured material generated by the system.
Planned delivery time is 3 days & Requirement of parent material falls on 15/02/2010. With this, system should calculate the start date for schedule line as on 12/02/2010 considering 3 days Planned Delivery time.
Any idea as to what might have gone wrong?
thx for your help in advance.
Rgds,
Ranjeet

Hi,
Determination of PLD from the Purchase info record is maintained in transaction code:OMDT. Planned Delivery time is also maintained in Scheduling agreement. However, it is not calculating delivery date as well as release date.

    Dear All,
I am not getting schedule line after mrp run, inspite of all required setting only purchase requisitions are coming.

    Dear All,
I am closing this thread. As the vendor mentioned in scheduling agreement is not a subcontracting vendor. Its a individual vendor.

  • Delivery Schedules not created after MRP Run for MRP Type PD

    HI All,
I have created Schduling Agreement, maintained Source List with MRP Relevant - 2 option and maintained Vendor as Fix, maintained info record.
I have created a material with MRP type as PD and lot size as EX, and strategy group as MTS. Now when i enter requirement through MD61 and do MRP Run through MD02, system is generating PR instead of Del Schdule line inspite of schduling agreement.
But If i change MRP type to VB and maintain reorder point and maintain min lot size, then system generates Del Schdule lines for the same material.
What could be the reason. I want delivery schedules based on MRP Type PD.
Where I am wrong in MRP Views or in any cutomization. It seems that purchasing part is fine since it creats scudles line so no problem in SA or in Source List.
    Please help

  • Plannned Delivery time not considered while calculating delivery date

    Hi PP Gurus,
We have a situation is that after MRP run system is not taking into account planned delivery time while calculating delivery dates in schedule lines
It is taking into account GR processing time.We have GR processing time of 3 days.requirment date is 13.10.2011 & delivery date created by the system is 10.10.2011.
We have maintained correct master data i.e.Materail Master , Info record & Scheduling agreement.
Please advice why it is happening & what is the significance of planned delivery time in externaly procured materail with scheduling agrement schedule lines?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sandesh

    Hi Sandesh,
Is this happening for particular materials or for all materials
    Couple of checks -
    1) Check with material master changes, might be after MRP run PDT is updated in material master etc ..
    2) Check in OPPQ, for option external procurement , whether scheduling info records/agree is marked or not
    Best Regards

  • Is planned delivery time is considered in scheduling agreement ????

    Hi experts
problem is that the schedule lines (for external procurement) generated from MRP are not taking the "" Planned delivery time into consideration"". System is only taking the G.R processing time.
I have mentioned the Planned delivery time in .
    1) Scheduling agreement for 1 day.
    2) In material master for one day.
    3) In info record 1 day.
e.g Suppose req date is 13.07.2008. MRP run date 4.07.2008.
    a) Planned delivery time = 1 day . B) G .R processing time = 3 days.
Now when i run the MRP on 4.07.2008.
Schedule line is generated on - 10.07.2008
Please Guide . How i can take care of that time which is requiered at vendor ends.
    Regards
    Rahul Bhardwaj

Go to OPPQ for that plant
Click on "External Procurement " tab and check if you have maintained any planned delivery time?
Tick indicator " Scheduling info record/agreement " (This will take Planned del time specified in scheduling info rec or agreement)

  • Planned delivery time not updating real time in apo

    Hi,
I have a location product which is part of the active integration model.
The location and product are both available in ECC and APO.
When i change the value of Planned delivery time in ECC, the changes do not get transfered to APO even after RIMODINI.
For e.g. the planned delivery time currently is 1 day and it is changed to 3 days, even after doing RIMODINI the changes are not reflected in APO.
Kindly suggest if somebody has come across this issue earlier.
    Thanks & Regards.

    Hi Santosh,
Please check by tcode CFM5 weather material is there in IM or not .
Also check CFG1 log on R/3 and SLG1 or /SAPAPO/C3 or /SAPAPO/CQ in APO.
    Please confirm.

    Dear All,
I am trying to create Schedule lines through MRP run , but instead system creates MRP element PRqRel  and its PurRqs when i check in MD04 ,  the following are the prerequisite i done before MRP run , but still Schedule lines are not generating.
1.activated checkbox source list in material master.,Procurement type is F, MRP type PD , lot size MB , marked JIT  Scheduling indicator as 1 in Pur view of material master , no MRP group is used in our process.
    2.Maintained Inforecord.

  • Consider planned delivery time field in MRP Areas

    Hi,
I would like to know if the "Consider Planned Delivery Time" field in the MRP areas is taken into the scheduling of materials during MRP run? From the help documentation, it seems to be yes. Otherwise the system will take the Planned Delivery Time from the Plant level. May I ask how we can tick this field for all materials? We are currently in the process of activating the MRP areas in our system. Before, we didn't use the MRP areas but we think the need for it has arrived. Is there a mass maintenance tool to do this? Or do I have to use LSMW? Thanks!
    Regards,
    Chester

    Hello Chester
If you flag the field "consider planned delivery time" the planned delivery time defined on the MRP area will be considered by MRP. You should tick it for all the materials if the value from the MRP area should be considered.
Also, the report RMMDDIBE can be used for mass processing of MRP areas.

  • Planned delivery time issue

    Hello Experts,
    We have below requirement.
Created sales order for a particular material. Planned delivery time is picked from info record for that material and PR has been created.
We are converting PR into PO and the planned delivery time is fine. Now we are updating the ASN from vendor with some prior dates. In MD04, the same got updated. However the sales order still shows the old planned delivery time only. How to get the new planned delivery time  in the sales order based on the ASN updated in PO.
    Example:
    Material: A
Planned delivery time is 10 in info record
Created sales order. Planned delivery time in the sales order is 10. PR created with fixed vendor and planned delivery time is 10 days from the date of creation.
    Converted PO.
Now we received the ASN from Vendor that the vendor will deliver this material in five days. So accordingly we are updating the ASN in PO with delivery date.
In MD04, we could the new planned delivery time based on the ASN. However sales order delivery still shows the previouls delivery date only.
How to get the new delivery date in the sales order based on the ASN update?
    Regards
    Bala

This is not standard SAP logic. Required delivery date on the original line item stays as it was when you issued the order. Then you create a confirmation (ASN) that is relevant to MRP with the updated delivery date. Planning sees the new date and acts accordingly, and also in the order you can see both "old" and "new" (in the confirmation tab).

  • Availability/GR Date after MRP Run

    Hi All,
After MRP Run for perticular period, system plan the material at the start date of the period. Is there any ways where we can set it to last date of the period.
Like if I will put the PIR for Month of March and April, system will create the PIR on 01/03/07 and 01/04/07. so is there any ways where it can be change to 31/03/07 and 30/04/07 for march and April.

    Hi Pravan,
you can configure lot size key in SPRO accordingly
    lot size procedure-p
    lo size ind-M
    Scheduling-2
    no of period 1
assign it o material in MRP 1 view.

  • System is not considering Planned Delivery time

    Dear Gurus,
As iam planning for the month of January and running the MRP,schedulelines are getting generated but system is not condering Planned Delivery time maintained in the material master ie. 7days.Following is the example:
I have a FERT-X with a component A-1PC in its BOM and its planned delvery time from vendor is 7 Days.If iam running the MRP on 13/12/2010 for FERT-X  100 PCS for January1,2011 then the schedule lines are getting generated for for component A is on 01/01/2011.But PDT is maintianed in material master is 7 days and same has been maintianed in vendor inforecord. But system is not considering it.
Kindly help to resolve the issue.
    With Regards.

I have one ROH which has two different vendors.
Two scheduling Agreemnt with target qty 100000 kg each.
Two different Vendor info record with Min. order qty maintained.V1-1000Kg,V2-6000Kg.
One source list with two vendors and with respective scheduling agreement.
Quota arrangement is there in which SOB is maintiained 50:50.
I hv the requirement of 3084 kg of ROH.
I run the MRP and two diiferent schedule lines are getting generated with 50:50 qty as mentioned in Quota arrangement.
Not considering the minimum order qty maintiained in vendor info record.
    The above process is correct
Only One doubt In Quota Arrangement?
IS two schedule line is created after MRP run?
Generally System will  select a vendor Whose Quota value is less
quota rating   = quota base quantity + quota-allocated quantity/ quota

  • After mrp run-planning file

    dear gurus,
after mrp run.planning file entry should be deleteted.if not deleted what will be the reasons for that?
                 what is replanning of materials?
please through some light on this issues

    Hi,
Planning mode controls how the system is to deal with proc proposalexisting
from last planning run which are not yet firmed in the next run.
When we are changing reqmts qty and dates for proc proposals the system
automatically take this into account.Where as if there is any change to
bom/material master whether these changes will have an effect on planning run
will be controlled by planning mode.
Planning mode is set automatically set in the planning file and also
    we can override in md02.
Mode 1: Inthis mode system reactivates the existing planning data
ie the system adapts existing planning data.
    ex changes to qty/dates
Mode 2 : In this mode the system reexplode tho bom for all existing proc
proposal which are not firmed if there is any changes to bom
ex changes to bom /sales order bom
changes to production version / bom explosion no
Mode 3 : Inthis mode the existing proc proposal are deleted and again recreated
ex changes to inhouse prodn time / planned delivery time/sch margin
    key
    Hope this will help

  • Production orders not to be considered during MRP run

    Dear SAPeers,
i want to know how to ensure that open production orders are not considered during the MRP run.
    the following is the scenario.
PIR for march after MRP run creates a planned order. this planned order is converted to production order. now this production order is processed but not completely confirmed and TECOed after a certain quantity has been produced.
now we delete the old PIR and create a new PIR in the next month. now we revoke the TECO status of the production order and run MRP. I want to know how to avoid MRP from considering the open production order and create planned order for the complete PIR quantity.
    Thanks and Regards
    Srinivasan

    Srini,
what i am worried is shortfall of raw materials in case they were to open the production order in the current month after the planning has been done. how do we allocate raw materials for both the plan as well as the open production order?
Okay, you presumably had RM available for all of your production orders (and those RM were balanced by the reservations from the production orders).  Now, you TECO the production order.  In effect, any un-issued RM are now released and freely available for other orders/planned orders.  Now you plan the following month.  Those RM that were freed can and will be used for the new plan.  Odd business process, but OK.  Now, you re-open the production orders, and, yes, you will have a shortage unless you run RM MRP again.  This is, ah, inconsistent with any business process I have ever seen.
The question that jumps to mind is, "Why re-open the old production orders at all?  Alternatively, why were they TECOd in the first place?"  If one knows that he intends to complete an order in production, one does not normally TECO the order, and then later reverse the TECO.
With respect to my name, I must unfortunately keep a low profile.  Ever since I escaped from the mental institution, the thought-police have been hunting for me. I do not wish to be the recipient of any further electroshock 'treatments'.

    Hi,
In transaction OMDT you have to enable the indicator create schedule lines
In MD02 MRP control Prameter here select the Delivery schedules -3- Schedule line. Processing Key as NETCH and Planning Mode - 3 delted and recreated.
Maintain source list ME01, in that put MRP indicator as '2' i.e. schedule lines via MRP.Put your agreement no in that.
If u run MRP properly u will get schedule lines automatically in ME38.
Make the schedule agreement, make it source relevent in the source list make is FIX and MRP indicator as 3.
