Planned order not getting generated for FG

Dear Experts,
Planned orders not getting generated for the Finished Goods - X which is having MRP Type M0 - MPS fixing type strategy group 20 which is copied fron another FG - Y , its a new product and production plan has been updated through MC88 - Rough cut planning but the planned orders are not getting generated.
And for the material valid production version exists with selection method 3 and individullcollective as 1.
Please let me know what might be the possibalities and what all the key fields i need to check.

Dear,
In general MPS is run for High value items ( if you use like Gold , Platimum or A class items. ).
Always only single level is used for Explosion and planning. then only you can analyse the requirements at each stage before procurement.
Otherwise if you run MPS to multi level, Bottom most high value will be procured without any notice to authorities. Even you may cancel the process in mid way. At that time what will happen to the procured high value material.
So for that purpose only single item single level MPS concept is evolved.
Fo that you run MPS at single level so that only for the first level MPS will be carried out.
Check and revert back.\

When i run MRP for a particular plant in T- code (MD01) Planned order is not getting generated but when MRP is done against a material in T - code (MD02) in the same plant planned order gets generated... Is there any customizing to generate planned order in plant level.....

No it is not recommended. only in emergance cases this will be done
Usually in MDRE and MDAB will be scheduled before MRP run at background for inconistancies in planning file enries
So the above said t-codes will take care of the same

Planned orders not getting generated

Hi friends,
we are running material level MRP MD02 (make to `order scenario).
when we run MRP instead of generating planned orders, it is generating Purchase requisition . i can see purchase requisition generated instead of planned orders in MD04 screen.(we are facing problem with only one material).BOM of FERT Contains 3 HALB.all the mrp parameters have been maintained.

1. Since you are telling it is MTO scenario you need to use the MD50
2. Also in the MRP screen check the Create Purchase Reqn try the setting "" 3 Planned orders"""
3. As you have mentioned only for that particular material - kindly check if any scheduling margin key has been maintained. ??

Proposals are not getting generated for BOM items in MD50

Hi Gurus,
I have maintained strategy 50 in MRP for header material , Item category gp as LUMF & maintained consumption parameters in material master .
For dependent requirements i have maintained BOM for production & sales usage, Strategy is blank as it is customer specific component , Item category gp is NORM , individual requirements i.e 1 in MRP 4 view.
MRP type is PD in both materials.
When i run a MRP thru' MD50 after getting customer order.
it is not planning my dependent requirements i.e. proposals are not getting generated for dependent requirements (BOM materials).
Please let me know the solution.

SQLloder scripts not getting generated for CLOBs

I am trying to migrate MYSQL 3.23 database into Oracle 8.1.7 and after creating the Oracle model and after converting the MYSQL text datatype into CLOB of the Oracle model the SQLloader scripts is not getting generated for CLOB datatypes. I mean the scripts are getting created but there is no change in the script for CLOB datatype.
The script generates the following for the table containing CLOB datatypes:
mysqldump -h <HOST> -u <USERNAME> -p<PASSWORD> -T <DESTINATION_PATH> fields-terminated-by="<ec>" lines-terminated-by="<er>" test av_wbt_course
Please let me know how to load data when the datatype is of CLOB ?

I was able to resolve this issue by using OWM Oracle Migration instead of using offline method by sqlloader scripts.

CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE IDOC not getting generated for BUS_TRANS_MSG BDOC

Hello Experts,
In our project, we have a requirement to send custom fields in the BUS_TRANS_MSG to external system through XIF. The model of BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG triggering IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 perfectly worked in the development system. We wanted to try the custom field extension in the Sandbox. So as per OSS note 916093, we have extended E101_CRMXIF_CUSTOMER_H segments with custom fields and tried generating the interfaces in BDFG transaction. While generation with IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M we got an error message "Incompatible change to complex data type
type E101CRMXIF_ISU_PRA1_X". So went about creating a custom IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 for message CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE. Even for this config, the IDOC is not getting generated for the BDOCs. Lastly, configured the IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 to a custom function module ZZ_BDFG_IDOC_TEST_FM. The FM got generated and activated, even then the IDOC is not generated for the BDOC.
SMOEAC config in Sandbox looks the same as the Development system. We do not the reason why IDOC is not getting generated and also the reason for error in BDFG while generating the interfaces after adding custom fields to CUSTOMER_H segment.
Any help would be appreciated.

Purchase Requisition are not getting generated for External Procured Materi

Hello PP Guru,
The is a issue which the client is facing.
The requirement is as follows
There is material which is externally procured.
They do the MRP run by using MDBT.
Now the problem is Planned orders are getiing generated instead of Purchase requisition.
It should always generate PR instead of planned Order.
When the check in ME57 the PR is not reflecting, but when the check in MD16 the planned orders are getting reflected.
Every time they have to convert the Planned order to Purchase Requisition in MD16.
So can you please let me know as to why is this problem.

In the variant which you use in MDBT, modify the value for Create purchase req. to 1. Now if you execute MRP with the new / modified variant system will always trigger PR irrespective of the opening period.
But if you want PR within opening period & outside of it should be planned orders, then maintain 2.

Accounting documents not getting generated for mvt. type 221 Q

Hi friends,
When goods are issued for consumption for project accounting documents are not getting generated.
I have tried with mvt. type 412 Q, 211 Q,
by mvt type 412 Q, the stock is transfered to project stock, it shows the stock of material in project stock, by movement type 211 Q the project stock gets consumed. So at the time of consumption of consumption account should hit and relevent accounting document should get generated. this is not happenning.
When i check material document and check for accounting document, message flashses that movement is not rrelevent for accounting.
Can any one throw more light on this?

Please check in PO item details Delivery tab. In that GR Non-valuated checkbox might be checked.Generally for account assignment category asset it is ticked.
If you tick GR non-valuated check box then at the time of GR accounting document will not be created.Accounting document will be created only at the time of IR.
or
Have you mantained Chart of accounts.
have you mantained Valuation area settings
Transaction event key
Valuation class settings.
Check your material master data in accounting view have mantained Valuation class.
Check your back ground settings OMWN.

MD06 Issue - Planned orders not getting displayed

Hello,
Planned order with the exception "Newly created order proposal" does not get displayed in MD06 with the option "Only Unprocessed MRP Lists" in the processing indicator.
I am running MD06 report with the following parameters:
Plant
MRP Controller
Exeception Group - All exception selected except 8-Terminations
Processing indicator - Only unprocessed MRP LIsts, Only with new exceptions
My material which has a newly created planned order thorugh MRP run with exception "1 - Newly created order proposal" does not get displayed.
Only when I specify Only processed MRP lists or All MRP LIst in the processing indicator, this material gets displayed. The planned order is for a Stock Transfer order to this plant (receiving plant). How is the MRP LIst processed?
Please help me out with this issue.

Hi Ketan,
When you execute the MD06 report, you would find a column with the heading CI, if am right it would be just after the MRP cntlr, here you would find a Pencil & a tick mark. If you find them both, it means the row is unprocessed, but if you find only a tick mark it means that the row is processed.
So now check for the planned order, it would be just a tick mark & hence would be showing only for the processed MRP list or all MRP lists.
To process a row or unprocess, just click on the icon & it changes.
Check & revert if it answers your query.

Inspection lot not getting generated for schedule in stability study

Dear All,
Need your urgent help to solve a issue. I need to perform inspection of material after specified interval of time for which i am using stability study process. Following are the steps which i have followed :
1) Create initial sample (physical sample created)
2) Confirm initial sample
3) Initial test inspection lot( Inspection lot created )
4) Complete initial test
5) Specify storage conditions (Physical sample created with CRTD status)
6) Create testing schedule( Maintenance schedule is created )
7) I have scheduled maintenance plan through IP10 tcode. All the calls are getting generated.
Now i have given manual call in IP10, but inspection lot is not generating.
Please help to solve this issue ASAP.

Yes i have activated inspection type 16 to material master.
Actually issue is solved now, I have missed one step " Store stability Sample".
Now the lots are getting generated.

Third party sales COPA document is not getting generated for MIGO

While doing to MIGO accounting document and controlling document is getting generated, but not generating COPA document.
In KEI2 and KE4IM assignments are maitained for condition type and value field.
For SD the COPA document is getting generated.

If you have created new GL Accounts to map the Third party scenario, the pre-requesite is that you might need to create cost elemenet with category 11 or 12.
Further only assignments are condition types assigned to value fields.
Check if the billing type is reset under TCode KE4W.

SID not getting Generated for Fiscal Yr

Hi,
I have fiscal yr varaint Z9, year dependent. The settings are maintained for 2008 and 2009.
This is also present in the Table T009B.
However, when I check the SID table I only see SIDS generated for 2009.
I am loading a flat file into a DSO and then to a Cube.
DSO , setting DO NOT Generate SID. So the flat file load there fine.
But when I load the data to the Cube, then I get the error
"Fiscal year variant Z9 is not maintained for calendar year 2008"

Hi,
Are you using 0FISCYEAR if yes it doesnt refer to T009B table. Hope in the DSO fiscal Year used in Base DSO is of 4 Digit length.
If not there may be possibility of space coming from flat file to DSO which in turn when loaded with space result in error in Cube.
Also if you are using infopackage to load to Cube check to load data though master data doesnt exist.

A/C doc is not getting Generated for Excise while MIGO_GR

In import Purchase order scenario I am unable to capture part 2 for excise materials
First I have created import PO. Then I did miro where I posted BED,AED,ECS,SECss
After that I did migo and captured part 1
After that while I was Posting part 2 with ref to vendor invoice I m getting an error message as
NO CENVAT AMOUNT TO BE POSTED
NO CENVAT AMOUNT TO BE REVERSED
We are using taxinj

In IMPORT PO, first step while creating PO, deselect the GR based IV.
and for CVD(JCV1), give the custom as vender and save.
2. Go to MIRO, selct the planned delivery cost and do the MIRO.
3. go to J1IEX, capture Excise Invoice....here give the commercial Invoice Number i.e. your MIRO document number.
4. Go to MIGO, as soon as u gave the PO number, system will ask for commercial Invoice Numer.
5. After posting Part1 in MIGO, go to J1iex now to post cenvat amount.

Reports not getting generated for more than 100 records

On 8.1.1.1 with BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1, some of the Reports are not running when it has more than 100 records and throwing error.

Are you using 'PublicReportService'? Check the integration for Siebel Reports 8.1.1.1 and BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1 the port 'PublicReportService_v11' is specified. Did you import this WSDL as directed?
i.e., export from BI Publisher http://<host>:<port>/xmlpserver/services/PublicReportService_v11?wsdl
Not certain this is the cause but I have not got the same issue.
