Planned Order of type PE

Dear all,
There are materials for which the REM is activated & work scheduling view is also maintained.
When we create a Planned Order , order is created with PE type.
When we set the conversion indicator manually in Planned Order , it is not getting saved.
Hence can't convert the Planned Order to Production Order.
Any inputs?
Thanks & Regards,
Sheik

Dear,
In REM there is no need to convert the planned order in Production order. We execute the planned order it self.
For REM, you will get the Planned Orders of Type: PE as You  have a Prodcution Version and you have assigned REM Profile in the Material Master MRP - 4 View. So Production version is Marked as REM Relevant So your order type is PE.

  • MDVP - Plan order (NB type) Availability check problem

    Hello GUru's,
I received one issue, the transaction MDVP does not select the plan orders for Availability check.
DUring my analysis I found that, materials have procurement type is "F". Plan orders are generated by system,
It has order type "NB" (generally our plan order type is LA - stock order).
When user check the plan orders (NB type) in the transaction code MDVP or COMAC, system shows the message
no plan order is available in the system but I checked in the MD12, plan order is available.
What could be the reason, system is showing like this message and not selecting the plan order for coll. Avl check.?
Procurement type is F and plan order type is NB this is the reason?
    Kindly help me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear,
Yes collective availability check has only been implemented for in-house production only.
Order type NB with F will be for the subcontracting. Also the collective availability check (Transaction CO28, MDVM) takes no subcontract orders or subcontracting purchase requisitions into account.
If you want planned orders with special procurement subcontracting into account during the collective availability check then you need to activate the modification, set the variable MOD_SUBCON to 'X' in the include PPIOHF02 after the implementation.
For more details refer the OSS  Note 198398 - Collect. availability check w/o subcontracting planned ords.

  • REM planned orders type

    Hi,
I just want to ask a question. The MRP creates planned orders with type LA, and not PE, even if I assigned the REM profile and ticked the box in the material master MRP 4 and in the production version tab. Why is this happening?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
I have done all the steps listed below. I still get planned orders with LA type.

  • Planned order/STPO

    Hi,
When MRP is run for a externaly procured item. The planned orders of type ' externaly procured '  are getting generated. The planned order elemment has , planned order no./STPO.
What could be reason for which planned order/STPO are generated instead of purchase rerquisitions?
    Regards
    ShankarR

    Hi,
    Apologies for the incorrect input.
When you run MRP with 3 system will generate planned order of type STPO (Standard External Procurement), this you need to conver to Purchase Requisition.
When you run MRP with 2, system will generate planned order if the requirement (need date - GR - pldt - purchase processing time) is after the opening period.
When you run MRP with 1, system will always generate a purchase requisition.
What you notice is standard behaviour. Double click on the planned order & you should notice that the order type would be Standard Purchase Order & also Standard external Procurement.
Hope the above clarifies your query.

  • NB Type Planned orders are not Displayed in the Order Information System

    Dear All
We have one material with Proc. type F.
We have entered a sales order for that item & run MRP ( MRP type PE)
No strategy is assigned to the material.
MRP has created a Plan Order which is of NB type & in MD04 it is showing SDEB against Plan Order.
Now we are not able to see this Plan Order in COOIS.
Although it is visible in MD04,MD16.
Can anyone tell me whether COOIS consider only those plan orders which are of E ( In house Prod ) category ?
How can we display that in COOIS ?
    Abhishek Garg

    Dear,
COOIS is used for production orders or planned orders olny and it will show u Order information relevent to "E" type procurement.
    You can use ME5A

  • Order type selection when converting from planned order to prod order

    Hello friends,
I have one doubt. That when i am converting the planned order to the production order than from which default settings it takes the order type.
As we can maintain the default order type in OPPQ , under conversion and in production scheduling profile also we maintain order type for make to stock, make to order, etc.
So my question is to which setting the system gives the priority.
Or they both are for different purpose.
    Thanking you guys in advance.

    Hi ,
You can maintain the order type for conversion of planned order to production order in the T Code OPPE.
    Hope it will be clear.

  • Order type settings for  convert planned order to production order

    Dear sir,
I have 1 company code ,under 2 virtual plants are there. My scenario is plant 1(main plant)and plant 2 (virtual plant)
both plant same FERT material.in plant 2 i am creating sale order and atual production will be done in plant 1.
FERT material plant 2(strategy-40 sp.procurement-40 setting in spro ref plant (plant1) )and  plant 1 material (strategy 82)
run the MRP MD50.panned orders are created but iam not getting production orders directly not getting the production orders
.i have done settings in spro OPPE order type is given.in MD04 manual conversion planned order to production order system asking order type ,but i given order type in OPPE
What are the settings for  production order directly from sale order at the time of RUNNING MD50
    Regards,
    Naresh.

    Hi,
You will not get a production order out of MD50. That would have to be set up in the SD customizing for the sales order item, but I am not sure that would work with your two-plant setup.
After MD50 you need to run CO41 for the collective conversion (and I also recommend the mentioned production scheduling profile customizing and then maintain this profile in the material master work scheduling view)

  • Planned order to prod order----order type and prod version/ routing

    Hi,
My client produces a material in three different locations. The process at all the locations is same. Each location has the set of same work centers. We have differentiated the workcenters at the three different locations by naming conventions. I am mainting three counters in the routing with different set of work centers.
We want different order types for the production orders processed at these three locations. Also I should be in a position to select the routing/ production version manually for the production orders processed at the three different locations. When I am creating a production order manually, I can select the order type and even the routing or production version.
But here I am converting the planned order to production order. The system is picking the order type as maintained in OPPE. In OPL8 I maintained manual  selection of prod version. But version 1 is selected default by the system. Can I have any control over the selection of order type and prod version/ routing?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raghu

    Dear,
Selection of production version is only possible at manual creation of production order, but not when converting planned order to production order. you can manually change the production version if u want to in the planned order. When you have a planned order it would default contain a valid production version. So system would just take the Production version in the planned order to use the same in Production order. If you want to change the production version in production order then go to CO02-FunctionRead PP Master data and change it.
(Goto OPL8 and select Manual Selection of Production Order in Production Version field
And in MRP4 view of material master select - Selection only by production version as the option for the Selection method field )
    Hope clear to you.

  • Planned order to production order type

    hi
when ever converting planned order to production order system aumatically picks production order type pp01 from MRP group assignment. if i not assigned mrp group in material master means, how the system picks production order type. I think its pick from strategy assignment in order type?????
    thx in advance

    Hi,
    Check with OPPQ..
What is the Planning Strategy you are using??
    Regards,
    Siva
Check with the Transaction OVZG..(Requirements Classes)..
Depending on the Pl. Strategy you can specify the Order Type here.

  • REM Planned Orders being generated with Order type LA instead of PE

    Hi All,
I'm running the Repetitive Manufacturing scenario and when I execute the MRP run for my Planned Independent Requirements, Planned orders are automatically generated with the order type LA. I understand that for repetitive manuf., planned orders should have the order typ PE.
Is there something missing in config? How can I get the orders to be generated with the Order type PE??

    HI,
Check the following settings which is required for REM
    1. Master Data -
    - Create Material master - MM01
    -Create BOM - CS01
    -Create rate Routing - CA21
Create Rem profile - SPRO ->Production planning -> Rem.Manuf->Control data or use existing one
Assign Bom seelction method = 2 & 3 (Prod version) in MRP view
Rem MFG indicator - mrp view in MM01.
Assign the REM profile to a material - MRP view in MM01.
create Valid Production version - MRP view in MM01 & Check Rem mfg ind
Assign the BOM and routings in Prod. Version
    2.For Preliminary Cost Estimate:
Create version specific product cost collecter for Header material and preiminary cost estimate - KKF6N as per the settings in Rem profile. -
    3 For standard cat Estimate.
    create std Cost estimation(CK11n)
std cost Estimation Mark & release(CK24)
    Thanks

  • REM- Planned order with Movement type 311

    Hi,
I want to use movement type 311 along with planned order in MFBF but system is not allowing me.
Do I need to mention movement type 311 somewhere in configuration of planned order.
    Regards,
    Samir Wadajkar

    Dear
Basically Movement 311 will be used for Material Staging.Material Staging can done with reference to the Material or with reference to the Planned Order etc...
You can do the following with MF60:
    1. Direct stock transfer : You must select Staging type (Storage location level)
To use direct stock transfer, you must maintain an issue storage location for each component in the BOM (or in the material master record or the production version). The system only displays those requirements for which you have defined an issue storage location
    2. Stock transfer reservation : You must select Staging type ‘1’ (Storage location level)
The system then automatically displays the storage location view of the pull list. The system also only selects the corresponding requirements.
In Global Settings, you must adopt the default settings and you must also select Stock transfer reservation.
I hope you must have maintained the Customization Setting for Stock Determination Strategy with reference to your plant with 311 movement.

  • Planned order type

    Dear All,
Can someone please explain me what are the planned order types and the use use of each types. Are they specific to any order types or is there any relation exists between two..?
    Regards
    A

What change the kind of a planned order for another is the profile. Profile that determines the order type, the procurement type, the special procurement type as well as the account assignment type for processing planned orders.
Example: KB = order profile allows you to create purchase order, external procurement and consignment. All of this is given in parameter of the transaction OMDD. More information link:

  • Planned Order Type/Profile

    Hi
The Planned Order Profiles does not contain any account assignment category defined and also the requirement class (030 in my case) does not have any acc assignment category specified. After MRP run, the system defaults to the planned order type NB. Can somebody explain, how does this happen? What is the link?
Please explain and elaborate if possible.
    thanks a lot.
