Planned Order - Original requirement

Hi everyone,
I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to obtain (at tables level or using any function module) the original requirement from which a planned order has been generated (by executing MPS).
I mean I have a PRqRel (Release order for a stock transfer requisition) and after executing MPS a Planned Order was generated. I need to find a link between those objects (PldOrd and PRqRel).
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Ben.

Thanks Murugesan,
In the assigment tab is not the information I need. The relation I need to find is shown when I push the button "Pegged requirements" on the planned order in MD04.
Anyway I was talking about tables.
Greetings.
Ben.

    Hi,
If you select the Workday indicator  = 1 (Working days (overrides factory calendar) at "Interval of available Capacity Screen" of Workcenter screen system will schedule the  Order during the Holiday.(CA02)
This is applicable for Both Planned Order and Process Order.

  • MD03 / MD04 creation of separate planned orders per requirement

    Hello,
I hope you can help me.
    Situation:
    - MD04: separate sales orders
    - MD03: Run MRP > based on requirements for sales orders >1 PR is created
    Material master:
    Lot size: EX / Availability check: 02 / Individual/coll.: 1
How do I set the system in such a way that for each sales order, a separate PR (and later on a planned order) is created by running MD03?
Current behaviour: 1 PR for all sales orders.
PS: sales order stock is not possible due to situation and version (3.1i).
    BR,
    Dion

    Hi,
MD03 - single item single level planning. So if you run by MD03, below only one level will be planned.
MD02 - Single item multi level. If u run by this , it will plan upto the bottom level.
Your requirement is separate PR for each sales order. What u have mention in the material master is correct, but in mrp 3 view use strategy 20.
In this also if u are creating more than one sales order in the same date for the same material, system will create as a single PR only.
MD50 - Multi level sales order. It plans only sales order item selected across the bom.
Reward your points if it is useful.

  • Planned Order Capacity Requirement CM29

    Hi All
This may be a trivial question for you guys, but I am couldnt find the problem, need your help again please:
In CM29 my planned order and process orders are visible, and I am using the standard overall profile: SAPSFCG013.
Earlier I use to see a continous red bar for length of the planned order / process order in the graph, but somehow now it just show up as a single line, irrespective of the order quantity.
Can you please let me know how to resolve this!
    Thanks in advance!

  • Report on Planned order pegged requirement

    Hi
I am building a report on Parent and Child planned order.
I have 2 parent materials P1 and P2 and in both the materials I am using child material C1.
Now, P1 has planned order PP1 and P2 has planned order PP2.
At the same time, C1 also will have 2 child planned orders PPC1 for PP1 and PPC2 for PP2.
In which table or, function module will help me to trace PP1->PPC1 and PP2->PPC2; parent and child planned order relationship.
    Your help is highyl appreciated.

    Hi Susanta,
    How u doing ?
You can get it through t code MD09.

  • MPS run, planned orders were created for all levels ?

    Hello PP members
    I ran a small scenario
material    MRP Type     Low Level    SG           M/T Type
    A      M0         000             40              FERT
    B               PD              001              40             HALB
    c               PD              002               10             ROH
Maintained PIRs(MD61) for material A, and ran MD41( Single Item Multi level Planning)
As material A is an MPS item, I was expecting that it should create planned orders only for material A, but in this MPS run it created planned orders for material B & C. (Looked into MD04, where I see planned orders were created
    for all the levels)
As per the MPS run, it will plan only for one level of BOM (in this scenario for material A)
Any suggestions, why planned orders were created for material B & C
    please clarify

    Just check
System must have created a dependent requirement planned order and not the planned order for requirement you put in demand management for B and C
i.e. if you enter a demand in MD61 for B and C, run the transaction, system will not consider this requirement during MPS run. MPS run will consider the requirement if the requirement for the child is comming from parement where parent is MPS item.
Hence you need to run MRPm for B amd C if teh requirement(not dependdent requirement from A) is to be considered.
    I hope you are clear

  • Planned order is creating before planning bucket for a specific material.

Planned order is creating before planning bucket for a specific material.
Eg: Planning Bucket future: 12 months & Start date- 01/02/2012, but Planned order Availability/Requirement date is 12/23/2011.
What causes this, how to fix it? Please suggest u2026
    Thanks
    Ravi

Since your planning bucket start date is in the future, so this is normal that the system is trying to satisfy the demand in jan2012 bucket by creating a receipt on Dec23, 2011.
Reasons for RECEIPT to be generated earlier is
    (1) There might be a FIRM HORIZON( SNP PROD HOR)
    OR
    (2) There might be a GR time and the system is considering that time
In Customizing for Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Supply Chain Planning -> Supply Network Planning (SNP) -> Basic Settings -> Maintain Global SNP Settings, in the SNP:GR for Plnd Ords field, you have selected Processing Time.
Blank out these times and see if it works, else do one of the following:
    (1) Set Period Factor(LOT SIZE TAB of PRODUCT MASTER) to 1, so that the receipts get created at the end of the bucket.
    OR
    (2) Create your demand at the end of the planning bucket period
    Thanks

  • Can MRP only create planned orders for ROH, not for FERT?

    HI all,
Is there any way to only generate planned orders for raw materials after MRP, forbid creating planned orders for FERT?
We want create planned orders for FERTs manually.
    Thanks,
    Harvey

    Harvey,
Yes, that was also my understanding of your scenario. Did you try X0 for Fert?  Run MRP against the entire plant, and MRP will not create any new planned orders for the X0 parts.  It will explode the BOM and create dependent requirements in the components.  In addition, you can create FERT planned orders manually, or using an external planning system, and these manually created orders will also create dependent demand on your components.
If you are also using Sales orders to consume your PIR, you will also have to look at requirements determination for Sales orders.  This is configured based on MRP type.  If you change existing MRP types, you may have to add SD config so as to continue to pass requirements to MRP.  Your SD resource should be able to help you through this, or I can give you basic instructions if you decide that the PIR/demand/planned order/dependent requirements works to your satisfaction.

  • Issue with sales order to planned order.

    Hi Guru's
We have sales order with FERT materials.  These items are made using planned order and then process order.  Currenlty we are using planning stategy 40.  We are really more of a make to order type business but need to still forecast as well.  Do you know if we can still peg requirements between plan, process and sales order but still allow forecasting.
I want to ensure any planned process orders are assinged/pegged to the sales order as early as possible to assist with planning and processing.  Further to this if we can do this,  can we change the pegged requirements if we decide a batch needs to be rejected and a new planned order is required for the sales order.
I hope this is enough information.
    Please let me know
    thanks

    Hi
This is very useful information,  can you tell me if we should set our HALB up as well with these planning stategies,  HALB's either go directly to a sales order or a further process order.    A|lso can we change the pegged requiremments from MD04 as I cannot see this anywher in SAP.  Finally do these 2 strategies still allow forecasting.
    Thanks again

  • Dependent Requirements vs Planned Orders: how to retrieve?

    Hello SAP Gurus,
I have noticed that in table PLAF, we can see which (simulative) requirement has been generated by MRP for a given planned order.
Also, in table MDSM, we can see what was the originating planned order for a given requirement.
My question is: is there a way to know what is the originating requirement for a given planned order? (most probably, in another table than MDSM and PLAF).
Thanks in advance for your light...
    Regards,
    Rudy

    Hi,
You can see the ordinal planned orders in MD05 and MD06 t-codes.
for tables search in SE93 by key in MD05 and MD06 where you can get all programs, Tables related to that T-codes.
    revert me if any issue..

  • Planning of Dependent Requirements for BOM Components in Make to Order scen

Hi Friends - I want to execute a full cycle Make to Stock Scenario with Materials planning using MRP.
The scenario will include BOM Components with Routing.
The process flow I want to execute -
    1. Create a Sales Order for a Finished Product (Product should have a BOM for Production)
    2. Do the product Materials Planning for the Sales Order through MD50
    3. Get all the dependent material requirements (both for products as Planned Order and also for BOM Components - all the BOM components should also be planned)
    4. Convert Planned Order for Product to Production Order
    5. Convert Planned Orders for BOM components to Purchase Requisition
    6. Confirm Production Order
To execute this I have done the following
    1. I have created a Material Master data for Finished Product (FERT).
    2. I have assigned Item Category Group - NORM, and General Item Category group as NORM
    3. I have assigned MRP Type PD in MRP 1 View and Strategy Group 20 (Make to Order Production) in MRP 3 View.
    4. Now created a Universal (Type 3) BOM for the product with one material component.
    5. Now also created a Routing for the Material with two operations having PP01 a control key.
    6. Now created a standard sales order for the product.
    7. Executed the MD50 for the Sales Order Item.
Now where do I find the BOM components for this material in the Sales Order?
After executing the planning Run MD50 I am only getting the requirements for Product only. I can't see any dependent requirements for the BOM components.
How do I make sure that the BOM components are also planned while the product is planned?
I have checked the component Stock Requirement List - there are no requirements generated from the Sales Order Product BOM.
Pls help me on this. How to do this so that the raw material components are also planned?
    Thanks
    Purnendu

Hi Dhaval, Sandeep, Ashok - Thanks a lot for your replies.
I have checked the Planned Order Created through Planning Run.
If I click on the Components Tab I am getting following message
    No material components were determined
    Message no. 61027
    Diagnosis
Until now, no BOM explosion has been carried out or no BOM has been created for this material yet.
    Procedure
Either explode the bill of material for this material, or
create the components manually by processing the planned order in change mode.
If I try to explode the BOM through Header Menu - Edit> Explode BOM
I am getting the same message.
If I click on the Bill of Material Tab - I am getting the same above messge.
Ashok - I have tried both the Selection Method -
Nil - Selection by Order Quant.
1 - Selection by Explosion Date
    But with no effect.
    Waiting for your advice.
    Thanks and warm regards

  • PPDS Planned orders with setup driving requirements in R/3

    Hi Gurus -
We plan Finished Goods and Semi-FG in APO and send the planned and process orders over to R/3. We use the change-over matrix(set-up)matrix to create the set-up times for the finished good planned orders.
For a material I have 24 hours change-over time. Lets say material runs on tuesday 3 PM, the setup time is 24 hours before that.
Setup time: Monday 3 PM to Tuesday 3 PM
    Run Time: Tuesday 3PM onwards.
Unfortunately the Packaging requirements are being shown on Monday itself. While I have setup or change-over time, I don't really need the packaging materials on monday. So what can we do to avoid this?
Basically as soon as the APO planned order hits R/3, the BOM in R/3 is being exploded based on the order start date/time and not based of actual runtime of the order.
For MRP folks, its misleading since the packaging items are not really needed on monday.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Rajesh

    Hi Varun,
Have you mapped setup and run as two activities in same resource or seperate operations all together.
If compoenents are assigned to run then are dates getting calculated correct ly in APO and only getting chaged in ECC?
In ECC there is configuration for production/process order   under scheduling parameters for production order where you can decide whether component should be assigned to run activity or set up activity but unfortunately this config is not available planned order.
If you have defined set up and run as seperate operation then there shold not be problem check config in ECC
Define scheduling parameters for planned order- adjust dates- adjust schduling should be adjust basic date and dependent requirement to operation date.

    Santosh
