Planned Order profile

Dear All,
I am trying to create one planned order with planned order profile LA in Trx MD11. But in first screen after entering material number,qty & date. when I press enter planned order profile get changed to KD.
I do not know why it is happening? Please suggest me on this.
In OMDD Trx, is there any dependency between plant and planned order profile??
While creating a new order profile where we define the order type related to this??

The problem is because of Account assignment category (E) which is getting copied to Planned order in MD11 and resulting to convert the order in to individual customer order (PP-SD-FI integration).Plz chk the Planning stg assigned to the material in MRP-III view

Planned Order Type/Profile

Hi
The Planned Order Profiles does not contain any account assignment category defined and also the requirement class (030 in my case) does not have any acc assignment category specified. After MRP run, the system defaults to the planned order type NB. Can somebody explain, how does this happen? What is the link?
Please explain and elaborate if possible.

Error while creating Planned order in SAP PP

Hi ,
I am creating planned order for finished material and system has given below error - Please specify the order deadlines in ascending order.
SAP Message Error- Message no. 61009 Please specify the order deadlines in ascending order
Very first planned order get saved and we declare the production and business completed
Now creating second planned order , while saving system giving above error.
I am Taking Planned Order Profile LA -Stock order
Any solution ...?

Hello Deepak,
Please adjust the order dates in the scheduling of the planned order. In normal production scenario operation completed end of the night shift and order finish date is possibly moved one day in the future for this reason we need to set the operation timing in 24:00:00 format
In your issue change date like this
End date : 30.06.2014
Start : 31.05.2014
Opening date : 31.05.2104
Check with this date, it’s work for you

Manual creation of planned order in REM

Hi,
Can we manually create a planned order in repetitive manufacturing? I know that in case we run MRP , then planned order for finished is created with order type 'PE' due to which it cannot be converted to production order.
I dont want to run MRP , still can i create a planned order manually with the same order type 'PE' ? I tried in MD11, but not getting option to chose PE as it is not available in F4 of planned order profile.

Dear,
You cannot create a planned order with PE order type manually, because a planned order of REM related material gets order type "PE" only when it is assigned with a Production Version.
So achieve manual creation of REM Planned order with PE type with the following options,
I - Using MD11 transaction create a planned order with LA type and assign a suitable REM related Production version to the planned order during creation itself, now this order would automatically become "PE" order type on saving the order.
2. In the planning table using MF50, you can directly create a planned order for a production line using F7 key.

I need to do following for my client.
After the planned order is created either manually or automatically a planned order profile
is allocated and data is processed. The data would include: material, plant, order quantity
and basic order dates. The system will check component and capacity availability and if needed, capacity leveling
can be carried out. Saving the planned order creates a purchase requisition, planned load,
creates dependent requirements and allows the processing of the planned order.
NUMBER RANGES FOR PLANNED ORDERS: - 1000 to 9999

Could not fully understand what is your requirement, please rephrase and explain again. In the statement given by you everything happens expect while saving the planned order, PR getting created.

Planned Order for Purchased Parts W/o using MRP

Hi All,
   I want to create the New Planned Order which I want to convert it to Pur. req. and then further convert it to Purchase Order.
    But I don't want to run the MRP for the same. And also we have maintained ND (No planning) in MRP1.
   It is possible that system can create Planned order by using any contract/ agreement of that material???

you have to create Planned order manually from MD11 using planned order profile NB.
system cannot automatically create planned order from contract etc, without MRP.

Planned Order convert to PR

Hi
When I do conversion of planned order to PR, the defaulted PR type is NB, but I would like to change it to ZNB (customised), now I need to change it manually during the PR screen, how can I defaulted the PR type to ZNB. I look at the IMG, in the planned order conversion to PR, the NB there is for planned order not for PR, I cannot find the relationship of the planned order type to PR type..look at PR IMG, cannot find anything as well..
anyone done this before please share, this should be something common as of many company do change the standard PR type of NB to ZNB..

The system determines the document type from the stettings u are making in "planned order Profile" in Customising for MRP. There u define the order type, the procurement key and the special procurement key and also the account assignment category. So based on the procurement key and the special procurement key maintained in the Marterial master, the document type is selected.
Production > Materials Requirement Planning > Procurement Proposals > Planned Order > Define order profile
Choose the planned order type - NB1 Within this you specify the P req doc type to be used.
Through MRP group and the different PR document type for MRP generated PR is possible only if you assign the document type to MRP group in the MRP configuration.
You need to perform some modifications in as per OSS Note : 46919 .

Default PR Type when convert from Planned Order

Hi all,
How can I default my PR Type when convert from Planned Order after MRP run. This can done via MRP Group control but how to go about controlling via Planned Order profile?
Which planned object type and planned order profile to be used? assuming that i need my planned to be output at LA type and convert to NB1 PR type instead of the default NB PR type?

When We convert planned order to purchase requisition in MD04 how the system picks the Purchase requisition type ?What configuration needs to be done in Spro

Please check the following
Basically , document type selection for PR depends on the planned order profile -SPRO-MRP-Procurement Proposal-Planned Order Profile .
Check in
1.OMDV -Conversion of planning run -Purchase Req item -Order Type -It should be NB
2.Or else , check in OPPR-Carry plant parametrs MRP group -Scehdel/documets type .-NB.
MRP checks in MRP group level.

Settings for order type in planned orders

Dear All,
Where can i customise the order types for planned order.?
My scenario is.. i can not send complete product in vehicle , which has to be dismantle and send in different vehicle, so the different invoices are required. i can dismantle the product and add these assemblies as line item and invoice. in this case i will loose the main product code which i dont want. i wanted this to behave similar to phantom item , where i can see the phantom item and plan only components.
Please throw sme lite on this...

Is there type's of planned orders in MTS or MTO environments ???

For interview questions, you should first consult with SAP online help before posting a question on this forum.
In SAP, there are not planned order types, there are planned order profiles. SAP supplies some basic ones, and you can create additional profiles as well. Reference to order profiles when creating planned orders

Define New Planned Order Type

Hi All,
I would like to ask where in SPRO can I define a new Planned Order Type (not the Planned Order Profile).
For example, the existing Order Types are :
NB - Standard Purchase Order
LA - Stock Order
RS - Reservation
KD - Individual Customer Order
KB - Consignment Order
OE - Run Schedule Quantity
VP - Planned Independent Requirement
I would like to add a new Planned Order Type Z1 and change the scheduling type from Forward to Forward Time.

In SAP Standrad , there is nothing called Planned Order Type .Basically , it is the planned order profile which decides all the realted category like accounting assingment , special procurement , prcurement type etc .
So you need to fgo SPRO-MRP-Procurement proposal -Define planned Order profile -New entries .At the saem time assing the accouting assingment categoery in OME9 and define scheduling parameters in OPU3 ( Scheduling Type , Adjust scheduling , Logs ,Automatica scheudling , CRP etc )

Query about planned order

Can I create planned order manually ?
I have defined procurement type X for FERT material type. Hence while doing MRP run, system shows planned order. Now planned order can be converted into purch. reqn or production order. But while converting planned order into purch. reqn it shows the procurement type as E i.e inhouse prodn. Can we have a debate on this matter ?

Since it has been correctly cleared/answered by "mangalraj; that-
Planned orders can be manually created using T.Code MD11 for a suitable planned order profile.
However while converting this so-called planned order into Pur Requistion ,first make sure-whether it manually created or by MRP Run?
If Manually created,it would reflect Procurement Type 'F.
If By MRP,it would reflect Procurement Type 'E'.
And please note that above two outcomes are standard SAP functionalities.It can work in another required process provided the configuration is done accordingly.
Hope it fulfils your requiremnt at some extent.

Hi All,
Is it possible to create new planned order types. I need to create a copy of NB, LB etc.
If so how and how do I get MRP to use the new ones?
I now how to create a new planned order profile but I still have to select the original order types!!!
