Planned order qty. based on usage probability in quotation

Hi ,
I created a quotation with 5 qty. and kept usage probability as 60%. I did the requirement transfer in MRP.In MD04 it generated a planned order of 5 qty. and quotation with 3 qty.
Is there any setting so that system should generate planned order also with 3 qty. i.e. same qty that of quotation.
Regds

Hi,
After the req. transfer from quotation to MRP, go to MD04 & check the qty which has been transferred, is it 5 or 3 ?
If it is 3, then check in material master / info-rec if any min order qty / min. lot size is maintained. Also check the lot sizing procedure & safety stock if specified.

Vivek

  • Production order and planned order qty should not consider in MRP

    Dear All,
i do not want to consider the previous month production order qty and plenned order qty (Nothing but WIP qty) in the current momth MRP, but the stock has to consider in MRP.
    Example,
    Before MRP,
    material : XYZ
    Stock : 1000
    Prod Qty : 500 for 02.04.2008
    PIR Qty : 2000 for 02.05.2008
After MRP, the requirement should be as below said,
    material : XYZ
    Stock : 1000
    Prod Qty : 500 for 02.04.2008
    PIR Qty : 2000 for 02.05.2008
    Pld OrdQty : 1000 for 02.05.2008
For the above requirement ,i have done settings in the availabilty check like , for include planned order and include production order are "DO NOT TAKE IN ACCOUNT".
Even then also the planned order qty is generating for the "500" only.
please give the solution for the above said requirement.
    thanx in advance

    hi
MRP will always consider the prod order qty while doing nert req calculation. One thing u can do is TECo the prod orders and un MRP then it wont consider prod order qty.
The Availability check will check whether the components r avalaible or not based on ur scope of check

  • Order qty Based on ROH qty

Hi I want to round off my order qty based on ROH. Say ROH is available multiples of 0.6 TONS.My Fert is need to plan so to that it consumes  0.6 ,1.2 , 1.8 etc TONS.
Without using Material-Qty calculatiuon is it possible?? Because I am using Discrete Mfg.

    Hi,
You must be having the Lot-size as EX.
In this situation, For your lot size : EX, in OPI4, Activate the MTO Lot size as "1" (Lot-for-lot with Rounding).
Maintain the Rounding Value in MRP1 View.
Now the Order will be created with Multiples of your rounding Value.
    Hope this helps..

    Dear BW Gurus,.
I am appending a standard field (GAMNG - Total plan order qty) to the extract structure MC04P_0MAT.When i activated the structure, got it done but with warning that the Field GAMNG is not within the customer namespace...Now when i check the DS,the appended field is present with "HIDE" AND "FIELD ONLY" Options checked. When i try to uncheck them fields and check "select" field and save,it throws an error" THE OLTP SOURCE STILL CONTAIN ERRORS"..Would appreciate any help on this..
    manythanks

    Hi,
Check by deleting the setup table for the DS 2LIS_04_P_MATNR.
If there is delta already running, then you need to do initialization once again for field GAMNG.

  • User should not allow to exceed planned order qty

    Hello Experts
In present case user can change the planned order qty when he converts it to a process order or purchase requisition.
Is there any way to restrict the user, where user can not exceed the planned order quantity?
Request to reply with a solution.
    Regards
    Pradipta Sahoo

    Hi Sahoo,
I have two suggestion regarding the restriction of Changing the quantity while converting the Planned order into Process Order OR Pur Reqt. :
    1. First one is through the authorisation for the user, the suggestion given by our friends.
    2. You can use a User exit in the Planned Order Conversion transaction (CO40 / CO41/ MD04 etc). Where you can code to refer a Z- Table created with the User whom to be allowed.
You can create a Z table and mention the user id for whom system should allow the change of Quantity during converion of planned order. So wheh the user is trying to convert the planned order system will fire the User exit and check if the user is available in the Z-table then it will allow him/her to modify the qty otherwise it will through an Error as required.
Request you to take the help of the Abaper to invoke the userexit .
I can suggest the third option too, but not sure whther it will work, you can try out.
    3. If you feel no user should be allowed to modify the quantity then I suggest you to create a Error message in the conversion tcode if the qty is being modified. You can try using a field exist.

  • Reserved sales order qty based on sales order

    Dear All,
is there any way to reserve the sales order qty in stock based on the sales order?. Actually i want to block the some qty for paticular sales order.  For example I created one sales order with 100 qty of x article and now i want to delivery of sales order with the  same qty after one month . In this case i want to reserve this qty for this sales order that should be not deliverd by another sales order.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Block this qty against sales order
    MB1B >>> Use movement 413 & enter
Speciefy sales order number & item number
Then this qty will be permanently reserved or blocked for the perticular order.

  • Production Order created from Planned order  qty should not be changed

    Dear PP Gurus,
IKindly give your valuable inputs on the below mentioned subject.
From MD04  planned order is converted to production order user should not be able to reduce the requirement quantity below Production Order quantity.
    Thanks & regards,
    Shanmugam Balamurugan

    Hi,
This is common problem. to control this you need to develop an user exit . This exit will check the fixed lot size in material master and will compare with the quantity of production order. The exit will get fired at the time of order saving.
If any miss-match happens system will give an error message

    Dear guys,
In my current scenario i need to create quotation and against the quotation multiple sale orders will be created.
i created quotation with 5 QTY. and system generated planned order of 5 QTY. Now i created one sale order referring to quotation but changed QTY. in sale order to 3. Now when i checked in MD04 system is showing planned order of 3 QTY.
But the requirement is planned order QTY. must remain  5 against the Quotation and mutiple sale orders can be created.because production must happen for 5 QTY. only.

How can i control this , please give ur valuable inputs on the same.

    Ravi Arora

    Dear
If you are not particualr to conver the planned order to production order through CO40 , then you can control with the help of
Enhancement : PPCO0007 (Exit when saving production order)
    Functional Module : EXIT_SAPLCOZV_001
    Include : ZXCO1U06
Compare the Order header Qty with the sales order Qty If the production order header qty is more do not allow the system to save the production order..
Otherwise please check those out for your requirement :
Planned Ord. to Production Order User Exit (PPCO0005)
EXIT / BADI for Tcode CO40
