Planned Orders Confirmed In R/3 not changing in APO

We have planned production orders in APO, with order category of EE, that get CIF'd to R/3. In our planning books they show in the production planned row. When the planned orders are confirmed in R/3, the planned orders continue to show as order category of EE in APO instead of being marked as confirmed, category AJ. When planned orders are created in R/3 they come over as AJ orders but when they originate in APO they stay as EE orders. What can we do to get the planned orders to show in the production confirmed row of the planning books in APO?

Hello Harish and Somnath -
Here is the actual and complete scenario. APO is integrated with Repetitive manufacturing in R/3.
SNP Heuristic creates SNP Planned Orders(Category EE). These planned orders are CIF'fed to R/3 and are used by REM. The order type in REM for these orders is PE. Meaning these kind of orders cannot be converted into a production order. There is no conversion of orders or confirming of orders in R/3. The only thing that is done on these orders are they are "scheduled" and even after they are scheduled the order type remains PE and does not change. R/3 folks are not concerned anymore since they see 2) a new tab on the order which gives them the scheduling information.
I have tried out the option of creating a new category group by copying the existing category group FP1( which already contains AJ) and adding EE and assigning this Category group to the confirmed production KF but it did not work. I am assuming since PE did not change in R/3 , no changes have been CIF'fed to APO.
Just to summarize the requirement here:
1) EE orders are created in SNP( Planned Production 9APPROD Key figure) and CIFfed to R/3 and show up as PE orders in R/3 --this works fine since its standard behavior.
2) But as soon as these PE order is scheduled, the order qty should move from Planned production KF to Confirmed production KF 9AFPROD.
Hope this is clear and will appreciate any inputs. I just started looking at this problem today and will post as soon as I fix it. Please let me know if you need any further info.
Thanks a ton!

  • Planned Order confirmation or cost collector setting?

    Hello,
we have implemented the planned order backflushing on the corresponding reporting steps.
But on the ERP side its only sending material to the cost collector and not directly backflushing it againt the planned order.
On the SAP ME help page I saw this statement:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_me52/helpdata/EN/4a/3ff0bf8e37420a9a96588eeb803de7/content.htm
Depending on the settings in SAPMEINT, the corresponding planned order is confirmed in SAP ERP or the cost collector is updated. Then the standard functions for confirmation are carried out in SAP ERP.
    Where is this setting?
    Regards,
    Kai

    Hi Santhosh,
Production Order planned costs are nothing but the order quantity will be calculated. But the product cost collector means the quantitative structure of the product means it will consider the all the components costs in the BOM contains and calculate the cost of the product OK.
I hope it helps you OK. Any queries ping me again OK.

  • Planned order confirmation

I have created a new material with REM activation..
I have created a planned order for 1000 qty for the material..
When i confirm even a partial amount of the planned order for eg 100 qty, then in the system i am not able to see the planned order again.. I guess fullly confirmed planned orders will not exist in the system.. But this is partial only, then why the planned order is not seen in the system.. Can anyone tell me what s the problem and how to clear that..
And a very important information for me,where can i find the components that are issued for a planned order..Please tell me is thr any reports for this..

    HI
Please check  REM profile in OSP2 > Control data 2 for Planned order reduction> Select reduce planned order assigned to version and also reduction period 0
Check also after running MRP MF27 should be executed so that reports MCP6/MCP8 get updated to see GR agianst Planned order
    check and revert

  • I changed my plan and was told it would NOT change my contract date......

I recently changed my plan over the phone with a rep because I initially was going to cancel my service.  I was told that I could change my plan and save $40 a month and by changing my plan, it would NOT change my contract end date.  I just pulled up my account and not only do I see my end date extended out to another year, but the changes I made were NOT correct.  I want this fixed !!!!!

Call them back. have them do the change again. That simple.

  • Sales order rejected in ECC does not reflect in APO

    Hi Friends,
We are working on ECC6 and APO7.0 for a paper mill- IS Mill functionality. We have MTO ATP with block planning and a exernal trim application. The sales order is rejected in ECC but did not reflect in APO. This has not appeared in daily CCR monitoring also. The order is trimmed, i.e planned for production.  I dont see the rejection in APO table: /SAPAPO/SD_DOC Beow are the sequence of events:
    -Order rejected 3/25
-Sales order 42678-20 had planned order 587645.
-Planned order 587645 is part of the enquee 4487 that was downloaded to trim on 4/4.  Well after the rejection.
Please guide me if there is any way to prevent such occurences, leading to unnecessary planning, blocking of capacities.
    Thanks in advance.
    Arvind

    Arvind,
I haven't worked with SCM when linked to IS_MILL, so I am not speaking from experience.  However, I have worked with SCM and ERP Baseline, so I will be speaking from this perspective.
You didn't mention how your GATP is configured, and what planning modules you have implemented in SCM.  These facts definitely can have an impact on the supply elements (planned or production orders), and what should/should not happen to these supply orders.
You also didn't mention what indicated to you that the Sales order is inconsistent between the two system.  FYI just looking at tables is not a definitive method.  The most important bits of information lie in LiveCache.
I don't know what is meant by "Planned order 587645 is part of the enquee 4487 ", so I will assume it is some customized interface, and I will ignore this statement for the moment.
So, I will just make a couple of suggestions as a starting point.  If the sales order is actually rejected, it should not appear in R/3 MD04.  Does it?  If so, run program SDRQCR21 in R/3.  The inconsistent order should then disappear from MD04.
If MD04 does not show the sales order (as it shouldn't), but /SAPAPO/RRP3 does show the sales order, then run program  /SAPAPO/SDRQCR21 in SCM.
If neither MD04 not //RRP3 currently shows the sales order, then please tell me why you think there is a problem.

  • Received Order Confirmation but debit card not charged yet.

Anyone check to see if their card was charged yet?
Mine wasnt even charged a dollar.
Wonder if they just charge at time of shipping
I used my credit unions debit card

I have 2 $0.00 transactions pending for mine (ordered 1 phone then was told to go add a line and order another for a family member). They won't charge your card until your order is fully processed and ready to ship.

  • Status in Service Order Confirmation-relevant items

    Hi SDNs,
When I create a confirmation follow-up from a service order / repair order/ etc, an set it to completed, relevant items in order keep in released status. Shouldn't they get completed too?
    thanks
    Pablo

    Hi Pablo,
As of now standard SAP Service Order Confirmation status completion will not change the status of the preceding Service Order. But the customers can call and implement this scenario using the BadI : ORDER_SAVE which gets called after every Save. I feel that customers can hook their business specific logic here and thus can control the Status Management. Status of Service Confirmation is very important as it triggers the subsequent processes like Billing and Delivery.
Do you have such scenario where you need to change the preceding document? It would be great if you can share it in the forum.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Samantak.

  • Planned orders are not converted into process orders in ECC.

    Dear All,
The issue is that Planned orders with conversion tick are not publishing in ECC as manufacturing orders. We did check the relevant master data consistency between APO and ECC and it seems fine.
We have tried to send the conversion from APO to ECC,all the orders stuck in the R1P inbound queue with error - Order no. XXXX does not exist
    Message no. C/006.
Based on above message and error we found SAP Note 515740 - Inconsistencies in table CIFORDMAP for this issue.
Used the transaction SE38 and created RCFORDCH report and 'Checking inconsistencies in table CIFORDMAP'
Here it shows order series stuck in queues no longer exists.
But not sure how to reconcile the inconsistency in the CIFORDMAP table.
    Would appreciate your advice.
    Regards,
    Sajit SIngh

    Hi Sajit Singh,
Could you take some sample items struck for order conversion and check
whether active PPDS & SNP PPMs available.
In some cases, conversion will be affected for want of PPMs.  If it is the
case with you, try generating the PPM first for that sample item and retry
    converting the orders.
Could you please check and confirm this.
    Regards

  • How to change the components of the planned order? (FM or BAPI)

I need to change the storage(LGORT) in the components.
I found only MD_PLDORD_CHANGE_COMP_ITEMS, but could not get the correct result.
Has anyone used this FM to change the components of the planned order?
Can you please tell how to use it. Or advise an alternative solution.

    Hi Anton,
There's a BAPI to change planned orders - BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE, but it allows to change only header data.
Therefore you'll have to go a bit longer, and use a couple of other BAPIs:
First read the order that you want to change - BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_GET_DETAIL
Second, create a new planned order with the changed data, based on the read planned order - BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CREATE.
Third, delete the old planned order - BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_DELETE.
    Regards,
    Mario

  • Restrict Product Allocation if Planned order is not getting created

    Hello All,
We have a scenario that when ever a Sales Order is getting created, Product allocation assignment will be done automatically and planned orders will be created for that requirement in APO.
There are some cases where in because of wrong Variant Configuration, Planned orders wont be created. Our requirement is to delete the Product Allocation automatically or to stop the product allocation assignment if the planned orders are not created.
Do we have any standard setting for doing so or Kindly suggest me some BADI's which can be used for it.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Srinivas.D

    Srinivas,
    A rather odd requirement.
Have you tried in SCM APO 'Maintain check instructions' to perform the product check first, then allocation?  I would think that if the product check failed, then allocation would not be consulted, and no allocation therefore assigned.
IMG > APO > GATP > General Settings > Maintain check instructions

  • NB Type Planned orders are not Displayed in the Order Information System

    Dear All
We have one material with Proc. type F.
We have entered a sales order for that item & run MRP ( MRP type PE)
No strategy is assigned to the material.
MRP has created a Plan Order which is of NB type & in MD04 it is showing SDEB against Plan Order.
Now we are not able to see this Plan Order in COOIS.
Although it is visible in MD04,MD16.
Can anyone tell me whether COOIS consider only those plan orders which are of E ( In house Prod ) category ?
How can we display that in COOIS ?
    Abhishek Garg

    Dear,
COOIS is used for production orders or planned orders olny and it will show u Order information relevent to "E" type procurement.
    You can use ME5A

  • How to create a new Plan order type or make changes in current stock type?

    Hi
I need to do following for my client.
After the planned order is created either manually or automatically a planned order profile
is allocated and data is processed. The data would include: material, plant, order quantity
and basic order dates. The system will check component and capacity availability and if needed, capacity leveling
can be carried out. Saving the planned order creates a purchase requisition, planned load,
creates dependent requirements and allows the processing of the planned order.
NUMBER RANGES FOR PLANNED ORDERS: - 1000 to 9999

    Animesh,
Could not fully understand what is your requirement, please rephrase and explain again. In the statement given by you everything happens expect while saving the planned order, PR getting created.

    Prasobh

  • BOM component should not appear in order confirmation

    Hi
In a scenario, I want one of the BOM component should not appear in process order confirmation.
I have not assigned this component to any phase and in material master MRP2 view the backflush tick is not activated.
Still the component is appearing during order confirmation.
Can anyone help in this matter?
    Thanks
    Pradipta Sahoo

You need to check only at two places to find out the reason
    1. In production order (CO02/CO03) in components overview see if backflush indicator is checked.
if it is check you need to look for where it is coming from
    a) Material master <<< you already checked
    b) Work Center     <<< you might have checked this also
    c) Components allocation of BOM items to routing operations
    2. In OPK4 make sure "All components" is unchecked.
You may have to also note that the production order was created before the backflushing was removed from the above settings.

  • User exit in planned Orders

    Hello all.
I have been search for a user exit in planned orders that allow me to define some code in it to triger some changes. this user exit should be at time of planned order is saved.
I have already search in this forum and I found out how to find the user exits by transaction. I have tried for transaction MD12 but did not found any suitable user exit.
Does any one know any user exit that could make my life easiser
    thanks
    Manuel Antonio

You can try the following BAdIs:
You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) MD_PLDORD_CHANGE to change, before posting, data from planned orders, which have been created, changed, or deleted as a result of planning a material or manual processing.
The Business Add-In allows you to fill and change fields from planned orders in the PLAF table. It also supports filling of customer-specific fields in the customer include CI_PLAFDB.
You can execute the Business Add-In in the planning run in the following areas:
    Material requirements planning
    Master production planning
    Long-term planning
You can also carry out the Business Add-In in all applications, which execute manual planned order changes. Examples of this kind of application are:
The dialog transactions for creating and changing planned orders (MD11, MD12, MS11, MS12)
The Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI) for creating and changing planned orders
all applications that explicitly or implicitly create or change planned orders, for example the planning table of repetitive manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing confirmation, capacity planning, assembly order processing and so on.
    Requirements
When planning a material or manually processing a planned order, you must change individual fields in the planned order or provide entries for customer-specific enhancements of the planned order structure.
    Standard settings
The Business Add-In is not active in the standard.
The Business Add-In cannot be used multiple times.
The Business Add-In is not filter dependent.
    Activities
To activate the Business Add-In, you must create an active implementation. To do this, choose the following path in the SAP Menu: Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> Business Add-Ins -> Implementation
For more information about this procedure, see the SAP Library under
Basis Components -> ABAP Workbench -> Changing the SAP Standard -> Business Add-Ins -> Implementing Business Add-Ins.
    Further notes
Documentation on the BAdI method CHANGE_BEFORE_SAVE_MRP
Documentation on the BAdI method CHANGE_BEFORE_SAVE_MAN
You can also call the documentation on the BAdI method via the menu, by carrying out the following steps:
    1. Choose the tab page Interface.
    2. Double-click on the relevant method.
    3. Click on the right mouse button and choose Component documentation.
    Update Planned Orders (MD_PLDORD_POST)
    Use
    Application components:  PP-MRP, PP-MP-MPS, PP-MP-LTP, PP-REM
    Function group: M61P, M61U
You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) MD_PLDORD_POST to further process data from planned orders, which have been created, changed or deleted through the planning of a material or as a result of manual processing.
The Business Add-In allows you to publish the created and changed data from planned orders and can be used to update customer-specific tables or to connect to information systems and workflows.
You cannot use the methods of the Business Add-In to change the planned orders themselves. The planned orders are always posted in the communicated form.
You can execute the Business Add-In in the planning run of the following areas:
    Material requirements planning (PP-MRP)
    Master production planning (PP-MP-MPS)
    Long-term planning (PP-MP-LTP)
You can also execute the Business Add-In in all applications, which carry out manual planned order changes, for example:
The dialog transactions for creating and changing planned orders (MD11, MD12, MS11, MS12)
The Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI) for creating and changing planned orders ( PlannedOrder Create, PlannedOrder Change)
All applications that explicitly or implicitly create and change planned orders, for example the planning table of repetitive manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing confirmation, capacity planning, assembly order processing, and so on.
    Standard settings
The Business Add-In is not active in the standard.
The Business Add-In can be used multiple times.
Note that the Business Add-In can be used multiple times and therefore all active implementations are called and run through.
    Example
The following is a possible use for the methods of this Business Add-In:
When planning a material or manually processing planned orders, you want to log the changes made to the planned orders or the triggered subsequent functions.
The subsequent processing of certain planned orders or individual data from the planned orders occurs in an external planning system. In this case, you can log the corresponding changes to these planned orders in a user-defined table during planning. Using a separate report, you can select the data from the log table and process it further.
    Further notes
    Methods
Update Planned Orders: Requirements Planning - POST_AFTER_SAVE_MRP
Update Planned Orders: Manual Processing  - POST_AFTER_SAVE_MAN
