Planning 11.1.2 Javascript file locations

Hi guys. We are running Planning EPM 11.1.2 with WebLogic.
I am trying to make some changes to the ValidateData.js javascript files. Where would these files be located in 11.1.2? I previously developed jscript changes for EPM 11.1.1.3 and those files are located somewhere else.
Thanks

Hi,
I presume you are trying to locate ValidateData.js for data validation here.
Planning 11.1.2 comes with inbuilt data validation functionality for webforms.
Is there something for which you need to still make changes in ValidateData.js?11.1.2 comes with basic form validation, it doesn't come close to what can be achieved with custom javascript.
I am not promoting custom javascript just stating the facts.

  • Javascript File Location?

    Hi
    My company has a lincence for RoboHelp 8 , I wanted to know the location for RoboHelp javascript File. "The Helper function for WebHelp Context Sensitive Help"

    Welcome to our community
    I'm assuming by "Helper function" you are meaning the WebHelp API?
    I believe it is stored in a subfolder of your RoboHelp installation folder. That location will vary depending on your RoboHelp version and your operating system.
    So what version of RoboHelp are you using? And what is your operating system?
    Cheers... Rick

  • Where are the Spry Javascript files located in Dreamweaver CS4?

    I am sure this is a trivial question but I cannot find them.
    The Adobe Web site states that Dreamweaver CS4 ships with Spry 1.6. I am trying to create a SpryNestXMLDataSet, but cannot find where the js file is stored, to copy it to my site. I do not see anything in the insert Spry data set wizard that allows me to create a nested XML data set. Thus, I can get Dreamweaver to add the xpath.js and the SpryData.js files, but I cannot figure out how to add the SpryNestXMLDataSet.js file, nor find a copy within the Dreamweaver program files.
    Thanks,
    Van

    Hello Van,
    Dreamweaver only includes the Spry files that can be configured using
    the DW GUI. As there isn't a nested XML configurator yet, its not
    included in dreamweaver.
    On Mac you can find the Spry files here: /Applications/Adobe
    Dreamweaver CS4/configuration/Shared/Spry/
    On Windows its probably something like c:/program files/adobe/
    dreamweaver cs4/configuration/shared/spry/ But i don't own a windows
    pc so I cant tell

  • Want to change the SQL Server Agent Job History Text Files Location

    We have SQL Server 2014 installed on a couple servers, but they were not consistent on directory paths during the installs. I am trying to get the servers to all match.
    On one server, SQL Server the Agent Log and Job History files were being written to [H:\Data Root Directory\MSSQL12.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log].
    I want to change that to [H:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL12.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log] to match the other server.
    I have ALREADY gone into SSMS - [SQL Server Agent] - [Properties] and changed the "Error Log " "Fle Name" to [H:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL12.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\SQLAGENT.OUT].  And that is working great.
    In [SQL Server Configuration Manager] - [SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)] - [Properties] - Startup Parameters entries have been changed to the new path (-d, -e, and -l), and under [Advanced] both Data Path and Dump Directory are pointing to the new path.
    In [SQL Server Configuration Manager] - [SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER)] - [Properties] - [Advanced] Dump Directory is pointing to the new path.
    However, the job's History text files are still being written to the old path.
    There is no setting in the Jobs or the Maintenance Plans that controls the history file location.
    I have searched the registry and changed three settings from the old path to the new path.  The registry does NOT contain any more references to the old path.
    I rebooted the server, but when the jobs run their history text files are still be written to the old path.
    Does anybody have any ideas??   Thanks

    I checked the [Job] - [Step] - [Advanced ] - "Output File", and the field is blank.
    I then reviewed all the tabs and left menu items in the Job...I cannot find any where the references the old path.
    I then went to the Maintenance Plan and checked every thing there.  Still cannot find what is referencing this old path.
    SQL Server is also still writing xel files to this old path...if that offers any clues.
    The text file being generated is the recap of the Job run.  Starts with this:
    Microsoft(R) Server Maintenance Utility (Unicode) Version 12.0.2430
    Report was generated on "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx".
    Maintenance Plan: SQL_Backups_Log
    Duration: 00:00:03
    Status: Succeeded.
    Details:
    Thanks for the ideas....

    Hello i am using TimeMachine to back-up entire Mac image (data + system) on an usb-local drive. I would like (on top of it) add a specific plan to back up some files on a remote network drive. Does TimeMachine support multiple back-up plans ? How ?

    Time Machine is capable of backing up to multiple locations, and can be used to back up to both a local hard drive and a networked drive (provided that that drive is in or connected to a Time Capsule or another Mac that is sharing it over the network). The catch, though, is that you can't specify different things to back up to different destinations. Whatever you exclude from Time Machine backups is excluded from ALL backups, and whatever is included is included on all.
    So, get a large enough drive that you can back up everything you want in all locations, or use something else for maintaining the network backup.

    Alternatively , we were planning to inform the users to generate the report into User's inbox and then send it to the above shared drive  but when we tried it at our end we get an error "This operation is not supported".
    Is this not supported by BO ?
    Thanks,

  • Deployed application does not contain javascript files

    Hello,
    I am a unexperienced user of the BPM Studio. When I start my application in Oracle BPM my application does not contain the javascript files. It is quite weird, because the path to the .js files is proper - the application works on other computers. I have observed several weird things:
    - when I lookup the application in Firebug, when I try to lookup the source of the .js files, firebug console presents something like this (i deleted most of the html so that it is easy to read):
    <html><head><title>Apache Tomcat/5.5.15 - Error report</title>
    <body>HTTP Status 404 - /workspace//webRoot/webResources/js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js
    Status report message /workspace//webRoot/webResources/js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js
    The requested resource (/workspace//webRoot/webResources/js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js) is not available.
    <h3>Apache Tomcat/5.5.15</h3></body></html>- as i said - the application works just fine on other computers, without having to edit the path to the .js files
    - the application doesn't deploy the application (at least I think it does not) in the OraBPMStudioHome - the application is in the following folder:
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\OraBPMStudioHome\webapps\workspace\webRoot
    I am using OracleBPM Studio 10gR3, my system is Windows 7 Proffessional 64bit. Could the fact, that my system is 64 bit, cause the error?
    I haven't changed anything in the web.xml, workspace.properties files.
    It looks as if the server didn't include my js files. What may be causing this? I tried to locate the folder where the Tomcat Server deployes the application, and copying the js files where they should be manually, but that didn't work out well - the web application still does not see them.
    By the way, the double // slashes in the path to the .js file are fine on other computers, but is that proper?
    My application uses other scripts, not only jQuery, so changing the link to the jQuery file, won't work.
    I'd be very happy for any solution, thanks in advance!

    Nope, that's not the case; all the imports are handled by the <fuego:webResources /> tag, like this:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="<fuego:webResources relativePath='js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js'/>"></script>If that helps, the folder structure, with the .js files is as follows: ../webRoot/webResources/js/ ....
    As I said before - none of my colleagues, who use this application, has this problem, the application runs fine on other computers. The only (or at least that's what I think) difference, is that I use a 64 bit OS... Maybe that's the problem? Or maybe something is wrong in one of my BPM configuration files?

  • Printing - Adding the File Location as a Document Footnote

    Re: Acrobat 7.0 Standard
    Have about 1000 PDF files --- each with a filename that's a specific number, from 1 through 1000 (the number --- aka, the filename --- is the section the document represents... there's 1000 sections in the project)
    Simply put, the main directory of files looks like:
    c:/Articles/1.pdf
    c:/Articles/2.pdf
    c:/Articles/3.pdf
    ...through c:/Articles/1000.pdf
    ===
    Am looking to process the above PDF files using Acrobat --- to print the file's location on my hard-drive as a footnote to the document.
    In other words, looking to take the PDF documents that are in "c:/Articles" ...and then, to process them all by adding the file location as a footnote -- and producing footnoted versions at "c:/Articles/Processed"
    Thanks a lot.

    Do you want the footer to change as you move the files to different directories? If so you can add some JavaScript to each file to the "Will Print" action to add a water mark from text to the bottom of each page with the files location, path or URL. But this solution will only work in Acrobat Standard or better. If you had the Professional version, one could use the "Batch Processing" feature to add the code to each file.
    You could also use JavaScript to add a custom menu bar or tool bar item to add the water mark or inset the code on a file by file basis.

  • Get Current File Location in ADOBE form

    Hi All
    I need to get the location and file name of current file upon http submit in the form.
    How can we get current file location in abobe form.
    I am trying to use JavaScript var path = window.location.pathname;
    Also tried app.activeDocument.path property. But this does not work either.
    Any inputs will be really helpful
    Thanks
    Kaushal

    Hi Suhail,
    You can query the runtime on this, and these are some examples on how to get this:
    You will need to find the correct location:
    select location_name
    from all_rt_locations
    where location_type = 'File System'
    You will also need the path:
    select PARAMETER_VALUE from ALL_RT_LOCATION_PARAMETERS
    where location_name = 'SRC_FILES_LOC'
    and PARAMETER_NAME = 'RootPath'
    Do NOTE that the location type and RootPath things are case sensitive.
    For the file name..., I think you will have to dig around in the mapping. I don't have an exact example but this is in the direction you will need to be looking if you want to select this from the repository:
    -- This script selects all mappings, its operators and the binding to the repository objects
    -- You can use this to assess the impact of a change to a repository object to your mappings
    -- The script will ask for a parameter specifying the project name. Note that this is case sensitive
    set pages 999
    col PROJECT format a20
    col MODULE format a20
    col MAPPING format a25
    col OPERATOR format a20
    col OP_TYPE format a15
    col REP_OBJECT format a30
    select mod.project_name PROJECT
    , map.information_system_name MODULE
    , map.map_name MAPPING
    , cmp.map_component_name OPERATOR
    , cmp.operator_type OP_TYPE
    , nvl(cmp.data_entity_name
    , '-- No Value --'
    ) REP_OBJECT
    from all_iv_xform_maps map
    , all_iv_modules mod
    , all_iv_xform_map_components cmp
    where mod.information_system_id = map.information_system_id
    and map.map_id = cmp.map_id
    and mod.project_name = '&Project'
    order by 1,2,3,4
    Hope that this is something that you can take and solve your problem with...

  • How to call that javascript file?

    I developed javascript for automated pdf files. But i don't know how to call that javascript file from outside of acrobat. Kindly advice me the various way to use that script. This is for acrobat 8.0 for windows platform.

    You can place Acrobat JavaScripts in various form elements, document actions, documents, and the application folder or user application folder. See the Acrobat JavaScript API Reference and Guide fo rmore information, http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/javascript.html .
    From within Acrobat's JavaScript's debugging console, one can use the following code to locate the JavaScript folders used by Acrobat/Reader:
    function JSInfo() {
    /* define function to report JS information */
    // some basic system information
    console.println(app.viewerType + ' ' + app.viewerVersion + ' is running on ' + app.platform);
    // user level script folder
    try {
    var userJS = 'User level JS folder: ' + app.getPath("user","javascript");
    } catch(e) {
    var userJS = "User has not defined use JS folder level scripts";
    console.println(userJS);
    // application level script folder
    try {
    var appJS = 'Application level JS folder: ' + app.getPath("app","javascript");
    } catch(e) {
    var appJS = "There are no defined application level JS folder level scripts";
    console.println(appJS);
    return;
    } // end of JSInfo function
    JSInfo(); // call the function

  • Lightroom workflow - HD setup and file locations

    Has anyone waxed poetic about catalog and image file locations or workflow? How do you go about conceptualizing a drive and file storage strategy for a Lightroom workflow? Of course this will vary depending on the equipment you have, but I'd appreciate and links to stories that run through various configuration setups and the possible workflows and locations for catalog, master files and backup locations. Here's my setup:
    - Mac Pro (3GHz 8 Core) with two 750GB internal drives (one for OS X) the other for Apps and content storage); two empty drive bays for now.
    - PowerBook G4 1.2GHz w/160GB internal drive that I use on location, or as an in-lab Flash card reader if the Addonics external, Firewire card reader attached to the Mac Pro fails to see a camera card (as it sometimes does). This second in-lab scenario adds some complexity to the workflow, although the machines are linked with Cat 6, gigabit Ethernet.
    - OWC Mercury Elite Pro with two 750GB drives configured as a mirrored, software RAID on Firewire 800 for backups.
    Should I set up the Lightroom catalog on the internal "content" drive and store all the actual image files there, reserving the RAID drive strictly for backups? This would mean that the RAID would only be used a redundant backup system (which is fine and what I originally planned) since it's probably slower than the single, internal drive. The problem is this: remembering to back up the files from the main content drive to the software RAID drive.
    Or should I be using the slower, mirrored RAID for main content (master image file and catalog) storage.

    John, Andrew and others:
    Thanks for your thoughts. Do you also use Lightroom to manage all "working" versions of Photoshop files (multiple version - edits - of files in progress)?
    During my first couple of projects, I ended up creating a "Working" folder for each project outside the Nikon folder-oriented hierarchy of the original image files. I did this only out of habit rather than workflow planning, but ended up with a second workflow outside of Lightroom.
    Does anyone think it's better to simply save these files (with or without the "working" folders) into the same folder hierarchy with all the Nikon originals? I'm just trying to figure out how to organize the workflow for the in-progress files.
    Again, before Lightroom, I managed these files in separate folders on the hard drive, and usually moved them to a new location for final storage. Clearly, that won't work for Lightroom, but what does? I'm getting into a bit of trouble trying to manage file (and working folder) locations as I try to transition to a new, database-driven workflow.

  • Javascript file upload on webcenter 11.1.1.4.

    Hi All,
    I am making some ajax call in in my custom template which i created in webcenter 11.1.1.4 .
    But this is not working as expected since we need to add
    this entry in jspx file in order to perform ajax call .
    <af:resource type="javascript" source="/........./jquery-1.5.1.min.js"/>
    Issue her is that i dont know where this js file is located ?
    or
    Please provide me how can i upload this javascript on webcenter .
    I found some link which allow me to upload images for css file but not js file .
    Link is as below .
    http://tech.bijesh.info/2011/04/wcs-ps3-custom-skin-images/
    Please provide your valuable pointer .
    Thanks ,
    Arun.

    In jdeveloper under webcontent folder(The way you address the script file it needs to be in the public_html folder if you view it in source files ) ,create one folder and named it "js".
    In js folder put all the javascript files.
    In your custom template source code jspx page,put the component -
    <trh:script source="/js/bs.canvas.js"></trh:script>
    (If you add <trh:script ..> ,be sure you have added the tag library: xmlns:trh="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad)
    for adding the javascript.
    Remember onething, in some cases <af:resource type="javascript" source="/js/bs.canvas.js"/> may not work. (particularly in template)
    Right now I couldn't remember about the docs related to it, once I found I will post it.

    Hi,
    I am sorry i am crossposting, but i need to solve this ASAP...
    I need to use JavaScript file in my application.
    Can someone tell me where can i put my javascript file in tomcat.
    Someone told me to put it in webapp.
    SO i created a javascript folder in webapp.
    I am calling like this.
    <script language=JavaScript src='/webapps/JavaScript/GridSort.js'></script>
    But somehow it can not find the js file.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    I think they meant make a folder in the directory that your webapp is located.
    Say your webapp is named MyWebApp then create a folder:
    %TOMCAT_HOME%/webapps/MyWebApp/javascript/MyJsFile.js
    Then in your jsp will locate the file with
    <Script Language="JavaScript" src='/MyWebApp/javascript/MyJsFile.js'></Script>
