Planning area transport issue - Urgent

Hello Everyone,
We are in SCM 5.1. In my planning area, there is already data and CVCs. When I make changes to the keyfigure disaggregation calculation type in the planning area and transport the changes from Dev to QA, all the CVCs and data in the QA system gets deleted. One thing to note here is that there is a message in the transport log - "No valid storage bucket profile exists". But that storage bucket profile exists in QA and I made sure to run the time series consistency check in Dev and QA before moving the transport.
We opened an OSS message with SAP and they released 2 OSS notes and still after applying these 2 notes, the issue is not fixed. Supposedly in SCM 5.1, planning area changes could be transported to the target system without a data loss. Wanted to find out if anyone has come across this issue or if you had transported planning area changes after Go-Live without a data loss in SCM 5 or 5.1. I need to run the report - RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE for all the characteristics and keyfigures or just the keyfigures which I have changed in the planning area? Please note that I have changed only the disaggregation type in the planning area and not anything related to that keyfigure in RSA1.
Do I need to run the report - RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE for the internal cube of the planning object structure?

There seems to be no extract strucutre available for this data source in quality. This is creating the problem in quality. The extract strucutre which is created in your scenario would be available in temp folder and that will not be availbale for transport, so you need to have the datasource generated in quality and then you transport the active version to quality so that it will be available with the changes as that of development.

BW Transport Issue - Urgent

I have been experiencing problems with Transporting the Objects across from BW Dev to BW Production, The transport Request in BW production says "Request waiting to be imported" Tried importing couple of times and still getting the same message.
I can see the infoobjects in the production but half of the infoobjects are greyed out as though they are inactive. In Development all the infoobjects and ODS is working fine with no problems.
Any Assistance would be much appreciated.

I am currently placing all the missing infoobjects in a single request and try to import it but still experiencing the same problem.
Some of the infoobjects
When I did a stms in BW production the request have a green colour icon saying
"Request waiting to be imported".
The Transport is not happening due to some reason. Can some one please let me know.

Missing key figures from planning area after recent transports

Hi,
We are facing an issue of data not loaded to the planning area , realized this after planning book does not show any values in the current week bucket. However the required values show up in the Infocube. Our setup is as below on SCM 7
external FILE---> FILE DataSource -
>CUBE -
> /SAPAPO/RTSINPUT_CUBE program -
> Planning area ---> planning book
Recent transports included selelction variant for the above program and now we see that some Key Figures are missing from Planning area from the KEY FIG assignement tab option from the above RTSINPUT_CUBE program.
Can any one please help

Transport of BPS planning area (variables) without transp. all pl. levels

Hi!
Can anybody advice me, how to transport new variables which I have created to a planning area, without transporting all planning levels which belong to it?
I transported a few planning levels that include the new variables I created to the planning area. As a result, the planning levels are transported but the new variables are missing. I don´t want to transport the whole planning area, since it contains a development which is not ready yet. Can I transport the missing variables with SE15 (how?) or is there some other way to do it?

Please execute program UPC_TRANSPORT_BPS_ALL and transport your variables without transporting any level or area.

User issue with a report supply planning area today monthly

this is a support issue....the user has an issue with a report supply planning area today monthly. The user is getting wrong values in BW, it sums PLOs and POs under production (config). for eg: BW says we are producing 46T while in R/3 we have 4T.

The issue was related to the heap size being too much and as a result the Class block memory was not getting enough memory. I think we can make a use of -XXCompressedRefs:32 parameter in the Java start up to allow the heap size to increase till 32 Gb.

Can we transport deleted planning areas acorss landscape

Hi All,
I am new to SEM, I have to delete some planning areas and same has to be done across the landscape.
Can i delete planning area and collect to request and transport or do i need to delete planning areas in each system.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Deleted objects will not be deleted on your target system, so you have to do it manually.

MY Planning will be done in apo for weekly based..
for thatmy client has configuired Fisc VArnt which is
specific for 48 periods but not 52 periods...
My clinet will be planning in week which will will be like it starts from 07.01.2010,
14.01.2010,21.01.2010,31.01.2010..
but for testing purpose we are taking thisfrom a flat file andloaded into the infocube..
and created gen export datasource into scmapo system and loaded into cune from that cube iam feeding itto planning area..
when I execute the transaction /n/sapapo/tscube tha data copied was successful,
but the keyfigure amnt when I saw in the planning area Transaction /n.sapapo.sdp94which will be distributed across the week.
lets say my keyfigure values is 100 in the infocube for the jan month and week 1
and the value which i CAN SEE IN THE PLANNING AREA IS week1 25 week 2 25 week 3 25 and week 4 25
which will be 100 total for amonth,
but it should not be like that 100 should go into a particular week and should display 100 for that particular week..
I have calmonth calday, fiscper(posting period) which we have maintained in ob29 as 48 periods
when i derived calweek in the transformation iam getting 48 weeks but
when i try to load it to planning area iAM GETTING AN ERROR LIKECOMBINATION IS INCONSISTENT..with the calmonth

when i load the data from infocube to planning arae using /SAPAPO/TSCCUBE, the copy was succeeful.. But the issue is the keyfigure value is dis aggregating..
For ex If my sales hostory for week 1 001.2010 and for calmonth 01.2010 is 100, but it is disaggegating the values for whole month 4 weeks as 25,25,25,25 but it needs to b written as 100 for week 1.rather it should be aggregated on the highlevel as 100 for week 1.
Do I need to check any Charecterstics combination but all are consistent....
Even the periodicities in the planning area and infocube are consistent , since i am able to copy in to planning area..
I dont have calweek in my infocube i have derived calweek with logic provided in my earlier thread, but as of now iam going with calyear and calmonth, fisper3 (postig period), since 48 posting periods are maintained in the 0b29 or t009b tables.
whether I need to implement any oss notes for this, If I include calweek and calmonth and try to copy in to planning area Iam getting an error periodicities are not matching SAP Note 1408753 - /sapapo/tscube wrong error message

I have calmonth and Fiscper3 for 48 periods in my infocube
also whether I need to maintain any calweek in the PLANNING OBJECT STRUCTURE(STOR BKT Profile) and Planning Book-data View(Time Bkt Profile)
when I checked in planning book keyfigure overview it is maintained there for 48 periods
For Planning Book-data View(Time Bkt Profile) how can we achieve this...
If you could throw some light more on this I have my APO Counter part I will ask him to change the master planning structure accordingly

Planning area problem while running URGENT Please

Hi Gurus,
We are near by golive and today our users found that they are not able to see the history data to some of the products.
1,I had gone and checked the LISTCUBE and found the data is available in history cube for that product.Can anyone help me to solve this problem ?
2.Another User is seeing double records in the order history data in planning book.Can any one help me with this issues?
Is there any OSS note to see my planning area or any chances forming duplicates in planning area?
I will be very thankfull to you guys if you please give me your kind suggestions

Hi Raj,
you have to bring the history data from the BW-Cube to the LiveCache first. There is a standard report to do this. (sapapo/rtsinput_cube)
If you have double values, then you have more than one request for the characteristic combinations in the cube. Make sure, that only one request is there.

Transport of Std.Planning area

Hi
1) I would like to transport planning area '4CFVS01' from client 000 (BPS). Please let me know is it possible to transport only the above planning area with all its subordinate objects?
When I checked the Import of planning application, I think if we select the planning application e.g marketing and campaign planning it will transport all the planning area under this.
Where as I need only the 4CFVS01 (Validation sheet planning area) to be transported.
2) Also please let me know planning area u20194CFVS01u2019 (Validation sheet) & u20184TPM2000u2019 (Trade promotion) come under which planning application head?

I have created a customized planning area with Business content (real time Infocube) in BPS side. Now when I do a transport of Std Planning area and its subordinates (i.e 4CFVS01 - planning area) in that case will it throw any error?
Since already the std infocube is mapped to a customzied planning area. Should I need to delete the customized planning area before doing a copy of the std planning area?

Urgent - 'Distribute' Function is reffering to wrong planning area

Dear Consultants
I have problem with 'Distribute with Key' function.
I am using Actuals cube and Planning cube in my multiplanning area. I like to distribute planned quantity from material level to sales office level. No selections for planning area, year and verion at planning level or package.
In the Distribute function, I am using Sales Office characteristics as field to be changed and Planning Area,Year, Version characteristics as Fileds for condition. I am restricting the planning area to my planning data and year and version to planning year and version in the function.
While executing this function, it selects data records from the Actuals Cube, ignoring the values set in the function for planning area, year and version.
Please guide.

Hello,
In case you don't want to work with your actuals cube for this function, I think you should select the area (and year, depending if you distribute on the same year or not...)in the planning level.
I think that (please somebody correct me if I'm wrong) the data that is taken into account by your function is what is selected in the level, then, the function runs for its own (sub)-selection.

Urgent !! DP Planning area design

Client have different businesses and trying to do DP for each business and also central planning .
1. i am trying to keep one planning area for all the business.
Q.My question is can i keep one planning area for all the different business?
Q2. I have same material number but different location for different business
and my question is there any problem if i do consensus forecast for i business material and does it effect to another business materaial number as we all are in one planning area?

Hi Raj,
There isn't a problem, you can have all data in one planning area, but it is important to do selections in order to have vision of which combinations are from which business.
You also could use a navigational attribute for your location characteirstic, this attribute can show from which business is that location. But if you use a navigational attribute, you must not use characteristic 9ALOCNO, because this characteristic is used by other modules like SNP who doesn't support navogational attributes.

Issue with loading a Planning Area using TSCUBE

Hi All:
I tried to load the data in production PA into QA PA (two different systems).
Steps I followed were:
1. Create a DataSource of the Production PA
2. Download the data from the DataSource into an Excel spreadsheet for specific range of date.
3. Then save the excel in .csv format.
4. Create a DataSource in QA and load data from .csv file. checked for data
5. Created an InfoCube matching the PA and loaded data from DataSource in QA.
6. Created CVC based on this InfoCube.
7. Loaded the PA in QA system using this InfoCube.
I found that the PA had data for all the KF excepting the Sales History and Invoice History. I checked the InfoCube and it had hsitory data. Not sure why history is not loaded. I have Proportional factor in the Infocube and I have mapped the UOM to the sales history.
Not sure why. Could anyone pl. help understand?

Inconsistent Filter in Integrated Planning - After Transport

Hello All,
After transporting all the relevant objects for IP...Aggregation Level, Filters, Planning Functions etc...from Dev to QA System. In the QA system when i check the fiter for consistency. I am getting an error "Variable 4EMAK1IX593GLMYGHHXIZCV8B not in query".
As such all the objects are transported properly. only issue is in the Filters.
Anybody faced any such error, please help.

collected it in a new transport and imported..
