Planning Configuration with two ports

Hi All,
We have installed Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.2 Version in Development Environment. We would like to use the same evironment for UAT also with different ports.
For Example:
We would like to use 8300 Port for Planning Development Server and would like to access UAT Planning Application through different port other than 8300.
So Can any one help on this how to achieve this w.r.t Planning Port, WorkSpace,Shared Services Port....
Thanks & Regards,
Suresh.

Hi Vishal,
Drill down for the second grid data view is not possible. If you want to use the drill down on second grid then create saperate data view for the same or add same key figure in the first grid, so that you can use the drill down functionallity.
But which purpose you want second grid. Pls let me knwo the scenario. May i will help you.

  • Is it possible that Exchange UM could be configure with two call managers over the same sip?

    Hi,
I have Cisco call manager 8.2 integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unified Messaging.
Call manager has primary and secondary server. I created a sip trunk and linked primary CUCM with Exchange. Users can leave and get voice mails.
Problem: In case that primary server is down (WAN is down) the users registered on secondary server but they cannot contact to Exchange Unified Messaging.
I added  new UM Dial Plan with the same pilot and associated it to the secondary CUCM server. UM answered but do not recognize the extension number "is not a valid mailbox extension".
Is it possible that Exchange UM could be configure with two call managers over the same sip, the same pilot number, different associated UM servers and get access to the same voice mail boxes?
    If not:
Does exist a way to configure Exchange UM that will work if one CUCM server is down?
    Thank you,
    Peter

  • JMS Foregin server configuration with two Weblogic 8.1 AS

    Hi,
I have two Weblogic8.1 AS. Box 1 is configured with JMS connection factory and Topic. MDB is deployed on Box 2, which is configured to listen to Box1 JMS Topic. I am running session bean which is publishing JMS message to the Topic on Box1. Also, I have configured JMS foreign Server on Box2 pointing to Box1 connection factory and Topic.
MDB throws error "Destination not found", while deploying. I read somewhere in the net, that We need Weblogic with Clustering licence for configuring Foreign JMS Server.
    Pls. help me.

  • SAS MPIO Driver Server 2012 HCT Fails with "make sure two ports are connected" error even with two ports connect

We are running the Server 2012 HCT against a SAS MPIO driver for a server platform with dual redundant storage controllers.  The test fails with this error:
    (x) For non-iSCSI test environment, please make sure at least two HBA ports are connected to the storage target.
    File=testsrc\driverstest\storage\wdk\mpiotest\logotest\devicelib\mpiodevice.cpp Line=2772
    Error: 0x0, Error 0x00000000
The system does have two ports connected so the cause of the error is unclear to us.  We do not have any problems when running the 2008R2 HCT.  Are there any known issues or fixed or workarounds for this problem?

Sorry, maybe I should say WLK rather than HCT.  We are trying to submit the SAS MPIO driver for WHQL signing.
Here is a sample MPIO snapshot where you can see our driver is controlling five drives each with two paths.

  • I need a firewire with two ports hdmi and network does that exist?

I am looking to use my Mac AIr in presentations. I want to switch bewtween showing a presentation on Powerpoint and then show some equipment GUI's on my desktop. Is there a Firewire cable that has two ports or inputs? Is there another way to do this?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
Will you be using a video projector of some sort? If so it would connect via the Video Out port on the MBP (no FireWire involved at all) to the video in port on the projector - you may need an adaptor & video cable for that.
Once you exit or minimize the PPT your desktop would be displayed on the projector... no extra cables required at all.

  • Hyper-V 2012 R2 best configuration with Two network ports

    Hi Team,
I have to design Six Windows 2012 R2 Hyper-v Cluster . Each Host is carrying Two network Ports of 1 GBPS.
10 to 12 Vlan will be configured across virtual machine on all six host.
please let me know how best i can utilize two network port to achive redundancy and speed and network isolation.
can i team two network ports into single team and than single virtual switch will carry for MGMT,Heartbeat and 10-12 VLAn traffic. is there any downside of it since i am merging all traffics on single tea.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
If you are using the iSCSI share storage in a Failover Cluster will need 5 or more NICs:

  • Best hard drive configuration with two drives

    Hello,
I am considering adding a second hard drive to my blue and white g3. It currently has the original Quantum 12GB Ultra ATA/33 hard disk (ATA 33 is capable of about 33 MB/s).
I would install a FirmTek SeriTek/1S2 card (2 Internal SATA Ports) and then I would add a 160 GIG or a 250 GIG Maxtor hard drive. The hard drive would probably be a Maxtor DiamondMax 10, or a Maxtor MaXLine III. I will also consider the Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 as well. I think all these drives are 7200RPM.
The final result will be that my G3 will have two hard drives, the original 12GB Ultra ATA/33 and also a 160 GIG 7200RPM drive.
What is the best way for me to manage my data with this setup?
What exactly is a "boot volume" or a "boot drive"? Are there boot volume strategies than enable your computer to be faster and more efficient? Do I need a boot volume and if so, on which drive should I create a boot volume?
I am currently using OS9 however I will be moving to OS10.1.5 soon and then perhaps to OS 10.4 panther later.
Should I put the OS on the original 12GB Ultra ATA/33 or on the new 160 GIG 7200RPM drive?
How about the applications? Which drive should they be stored on?
My main programs are the Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop and Illustrator) as well as Macromedia Dreamweaver.
If my OS and apps are more than 12 GIGS and they are unable to fit on the 12GIG drive together, should I put the OS and apps on the larger 160 GIG drive and not use the 12GIG drive at all? Or does it make more sense to use the 12 GIG drive for just the OS and then the 160GIG drive for the apps and everything else (such as my stock photo collection)? Should I partition the 160 GIG drive?
    Thank you for any advice.
PS Does any one know of a place to buy a SATA drive such as a Maxtor MaXLine III for a good price? Are Maxtor DiamondMax 10 as reliable as Maxtor MaXLine III? Is Maxtor MaXLine III worth the cost difference? Or would anyone recommend any other good brand of a hard drive? I will need about 160 GIGs or maybe 250. Thank you.

...Should I partition the 250 GIG drive as mentioned in my original post (system and apps in one partition and data in another all on the same drive)? Or is it OK to leave it as one large volume?...
Partitioning the drive "half-and-half" would probably be a good idea.
...What utility should I use to partition it if I decide to partition?...
Disk Utility can do that, just make sure to do the partitioning when you first install the drive.
... I will also need a good ATA card that will work with both OS9 and OS10- any recommendations?...
I have one of these and it has been working well.
It is $60, which is the lowest price I know of for a Mac card.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16816123110
...could anyone recommend a good ATA 250 GIG hard drive (PATA - not SATA) for the purpose of graphic design applications (photoshop and illustrator)?...
Any name brand drive should be fine (Seagate, Western Digital, Maxtor, etc.).
Stay away from PC-branded drives though (Dell, etc.),
    some don't work on Macs.
Some drives in the 250GB size range have 16MB of cache, that and 7200RPM would have the best performance, but might be overkill considering the PCI speed bug (it wouldn't hurt though).
Note: Most regular ATA cards are 33MHz only.

  • Error in Time Machine configuration with two usb disks??

    Hi all,
I applied two 1TB usb disks to my Mac Mini with OSX 10.9 server (latest version) and configured them within the Server.app for time machine. As far as I understood, there should only be 1 backup destination 'backups' presented to my mac clients afterwards. But I always see 'backups' and 'backups-1', meaning both usb drives. Did I misunderstand the manual or is there something wrong with my Server.app?
Thank you for your help and best regards, BanditCH

    Hi Wolfgang,
That just won't work. You can get a bigger external drive of 3TB for instance, that will work as one destination.
For this to work with 2 drives: every client needs to choose between two destinations, because both drives appear as a unique destination in TimeMachineServer. There's no way around it.
To be futureproof consider a dedicated NAS with 2 or more disks that supports timemachine so your capacity can grow when there are new bigger drives available. With 2 drives in a RAID mirror inside a NAS you have the best of both worlds. Client backup on a RAID mirror, when one drive fails it does not affect the entire backup. Connected to that NAS you can use an external USB disk for backup. Wonderful
    Goodluck

  • Raid 5 Configuration with Two Dead Drive Modules

I have a xRaid (14-250 drives) configured as a Raid 5 (raid 50). Two drives have failed, one on each side of the xRaid.
The Bad drives were pulled and new modules were installed. The new drives show green light, but when I retrieved data, the information is currupted. The New modules were removed and data was retrieved from the xRaid (missing the two drives) and the data appears to be okay. We are attepting to physically back-up all data on external drives.
What should we do to ensure best data preservation and how do we replace the dead drives. Thank You
    xraid Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    Thank you for your response.
The ADM are purchased as replacements. The xRaid is not iunder warranty (1.5 years old). They are the same 250 Gig configuration.
We have not tried to re-intall the new ADM's as we were concerned about the data, since they did not appear to be re-bulding them selves and we just 'sitting there'. So we thought that it would be a reasonable idea to performa a data back-up onto external drives...yes all 2+ terabytes. The back-up worked fine for about the first 1.5 Terabytes, but then the server would hang during the file copy process and lock-up the entire system. In looking further it has been determined that the system locks up at the same files (some 65Mb tifs) so I presume that the data is currupt.
The curruption of the data confuses me a little. We do have one dead ADM per controller side (one on the left and one on the right side) but it was my understanding that each controller could in theory loose one ADM without loosing data....
Also, the xRaid does Not have the Latest Firmware. Should we update the firmware while trying to get this system back into a healthy condition or should we wait until we get all ADM's back up an going prior to firmware upgrading?
    Thank You

  • Apple Configurator with two options - Shutdown, Restart

    Hello,
I work with ipdas/iphones everyday, using apple configurator wih 30 devices connected to mac is amazing thing, but shutdown or restart them is a BIG problem and takes too much time. Is it possible to add Shutdown & Restart options to apple configurator? This will be very hapleful for eveyone. One more thing before I will celebrate Happy Friday, is it possible to extract info like: serial number & IMEI  from devices to cvs file?
    Thank you.

Doesn't sound good if you've restore to factory from the diagnostics menus and are seeing this.
Have you unplugged from the main for a few mins and restarted.  Disconnect any ethernet cables if you have them.

In a ACE router mode deployment, I have a single context configured with two interface for server side and two interface for client side. In this situation how can we meet the demands of customers arriving from both networks? How can the ACE handle the client request if we configure one default-gateway to each network?
    Regards,
    Egomes

Enable "mac-sticky" comand under each client inteface.
It will ensure that ACE sends the response to the MAC address from which the request to the VIP was recieved.

  • SPA9000 Configuration Issue with FXS Port(s)

Successfully configured SPA9000 PBX with two VoIP providers setting Voice->Line 1/2 parameters. One phone set is connected to FXS 1 (or FXS 2) port and able to chose the proper VoIP provider when making outbound calls.
Issue is that once outbound call is established, SPA9000 is not responding to additional numbers dialled for called party extension number. Same issue when dialling a number where voice prompt answers the call offering selection of activities to be chosen by dialling specific number. None of the entered selection works as nothing is entered on the dial.

  • Can a real Server be applied in two different server farms associated with two different VIP IP and TCP Port

    Good day everyone,
I have a question in regard to real server operation with different server farms, and VIPs
Can a Real Server be associated ( for simpliciy) with two different Server Farms that have a VIP associated with each, servicing the same TCP Port (443).
    Example:
    SF-A
    RSRV-1: 192.168.1.10 /24
    RSRV-2: 192.168.1.11 /24
    VIP-A: 192.168.1.20 /24
    VIP-A: https:web-A
    Protocol: HTTPS
    SF-B
    RSRV-2: 192.168.1.11 /24
    RSRV-3: 192.168.1.12 /24
    VIP-B: 192.168.1.30 /24
    VIP-b: https:web-B
    Protocol: HTTPS
    Client-A: 172.16.128.10
    Client-B: 172.16.128.15
I have attached an sketch depicting the connectivity.
As always any feedback/Suggestions will be greatly apprecaited.
    Cheers,
    Raman Azizian

    Raman,
This type of config is no problem. What the server is doing is virtual web hosting. The server would have two different web services running for the same IP, but each listening for a unique host header.
From an IP point of view both connections would be destined to the rserver address on port 80, but in the http header they would have two different Host headers.
one for www.example1.com and the second for www.example2.com. If the web server is configured correct so each host name is tied to one web service it will not have any issues.
The config you attached looks ok. The way you have the sticky group is ok doing source IP. If you use cookies for the sticky group I would suggest you create two sticky groups each with a different cookie name and add the same serverfarm to both groups. The client will only send a cookie for the domain it received it from so using the same cookie in two vips could cause problems if the same client hits both vips.
    Hope that helps
    Regards
    Jim
