Planning content in 2004S

Hi ,
Is there any business content planning application in 2004'S version just like 4PRP0001 and 4PRP0002 planning areas in 3.5. Can any one tell me how to import the planning content in 2004'S.
Thanks,
Ram

There is only limited sample IP Planning applications available currently in 7.03 SP 4, primarily balance sheet planning.  You can install it for the regular BI Content.

  • Can't create DTP for cube migrated from business content to 2004s

I am in the process of converting 3.5 Business Content InfoProviders to the new model for 2004s.
Master data was not a problem, but I’m having a hard time getting InfoCubes to migrate.
I installed 0PUR_C03 from Business Content and replicated the DataSource into the Data Warehouse.
I right-clicked 2LIS_02_S013, selected Additional Functions, then chose “Transformation erzeugen” (a.k.a. Create Transformation in English).
The transformation is generated with no errors and it was activated.  The DataSource is migrated automatically in the process.
Then, I went to add the Data Transfer Process and that is where I got stuck.
I right-clicked the cube and took Create DTP.  For source type, I selected datasource.  A dialog box then shows the objects associated with the cube, including the converted infosource, but nothing is highlighted for me to choose from, and I can’t complete the process of creating the DTP.
Can anyone tell me where I might have gone wrong?

    u got it...

  • Integrated planning Content and SEM-BPS Content

    Hi Experts
Is there any integrated planning Business Content for CRM? Where do I find it?
SEM-BPS has Business Content planning scenarios for CRM. Is this BC also available in BW-BPS now? Where do I find it?
We use NW04s BI and CRM 5.0.
    Kind regards
    Erik

    Hello Erik,
as of now I have not heard of such content.
Also SAP is not talking about CRM-content for BIIP yet. What we have learned is that a lot effort is put into making the system stable and going for "additional" functionalities like BC later.
What you could do is use BW-Business Content for CRM as far as possible (InfoCubes etc. ) and build the Aggregation Levels, Queries & Templates by yourself.
    Hope this helps

  • Difference between Business content of 2004 and 2004s

    Hi all,
I was looking at the Business Content delivered with BI 2004 (BW 3.5)and BI 2004s (BW 7) for <b>Payroll</b> at the below links. It seemed they are almost the same.
Can anyone tell me if there is any major difference between the two (specifically for Payroll) in terms of objects delivered with the business content, data flow, data model, cube design etc.
    <b>BW 3.5:</b>

Also, are there any different settings/procedures etc to be followed for installing/activating BW 7 business content as compared to BW 3.5?
Will surely assign points for helpful answers!
    Thanks in advance.

  • Fixed Asset BI Content - 0FIAA_C03 and 0FIAA_C11 and extractor 0FI_AA_11

Looking into the  documentation for Overview of the Data Flow diagram for Asset accounting in the Business Content for 2004s
, there is no mention for the Cube 0FIAA_C03. Instead, 0FIAA_C11 is used.
Is 0FIAA_C03 a substiture for 0FIAA_C11. Looking into the BC, 0FIAA_C03 contains more Asset numbers and 0FIAA_C11 contains more of Key figures.
I would like to have a report based on all Key figures in 0FIAA_C11 at Asset level.
Asset numbers are not available for 0FIAA_C11 infocube, but we can add it from the ODS.
Would adding 0ASSET and 0ASSET_MAIN to 0fiaa_c11 bring the same result?
If anyone has done this, please suggest what their implementation model was ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I think you should try with the 0FI_AA_005 source instead..

  • 6th Gen Nano won't play content longer than 1440 minutes

Audible.com now allows for single file download of audio books which can be sync'd to iPod. However the iPod cannot plan content longer than 24 hours in length. You will ned to download the segmented audio if the program is longer than 1440 minutes long.

Hi, just found this after Googling the same problem. I hope this will help other Audible.com users who like long biographies and the like, but can't play them to the end on their iPods.
My iPod Nano is a gen 7, and either starts stuttering like a stuck LP record or jumps back to page one of the audiobook after flawlessly playing a good part of a long book. I suppose it must be about 24 hours into it, as it didn't falter on a 23+ hour book. My laptop and my Kindle would play the books all the way to the end, so it wasn't a problem with the files themselves. The local Apple store tried reinstalling the iPod's firmware, to no avail, so they gave me a new iPod. I had the same problem with the new device.
Today I had a talk with a supervisor in the Apple support group who was sympathetic and said that she would refer the issue to their engineeriing staff and get back to me. In the meantime, I talked with Audible.com, and the support guy there solved the problem for me. All you have to do is sign in to your Audible account, go to your Library, and find the "Audio Quality" button at the upper right corner. Mine was on "Enhanced", and he had me switch it to "Format 4". That resulted in all the audiobooks in the library to be displayed as both a single file and as multiple files (Part 1, 2, 3, etc.). I was able to download the final parts and successfully listened to them on my iPod.
Nonetheless, this does seem like an issue that Apple would want to address with a software enhancement.

Where to start with BW Training
There are two logical entry points to the SAP BI curriculum. The first is BW305-BW Reporting. The other is BW310-BW Data Warehousing. Depending on your focus and responsibilities, you would pick the one of most interest.
BW305 is the starting point for all the reporting functions of BW. It includes both web-based and BEx Analyzer-based (MS Excel) reporting techniques.
BW310 teaches the student how a data warehouse is put together and populated. Students learn to create various objects for the extraction and storage of data from both R/3 source systems and from flat files.
After those courses, the rest of the curriculum is specific to the role one has on the project. You can get a picture of the whole curriculum path at:
    http://www50.sap.com/useducation/curriculum/mySAP.asp?tid=4
Please find out what version of BW you are using and if there are plans to upgrade:

You can get further information about Online Knowledge Products (contents, demo version, order process) at service.sap.com/okp.
You can obtain information about becoming a certified consultant by going to:
    www.sap.com/useducation
This will bring up the SAP Education Page and at the right side of the page double-click on “SAP Certifications” link and you’ll see information about the various types of certification offered, suggested course paths, exam schedules, etc.
SAP Consultant Certification is generally geared towards SAP Customers, Partners, Consultants and project team members involved in current implementation or planning for future implementation of SAP. The Solution Academy courses help prepares you for the certification exam. The Solution Academy is more like a fast track program which is a combination of level 2 and level 3 standard module courses offered in an average of 24 days of training and the certification exam is offered on the last day of the last class in the track.
To look at exams:  click on the “Exam Listings” link on the highlights box. This will give you the list of certification exams available. Clicking on the particular exam you are interested takes you to that exam’s page and click on “exam information” for the topic by topic information that is going to be covered in that exam.
For courses that help you prepare for certification, take a look at the Solution Academy Courses. Here is the link to the various Solution Academies you can choose from:
    http://www50.sap.com/useducation/curriculum/group.asp?tid=8
Once you click on a particular Academy, that link will give you the curriculum path or courses within that academy and there is a certification exam on the last day of the last class within that program.
To be certified, you actually have 3 options. First you can take the Solution Academy path choosing the solution or area of specialty you want to be certified in. This option is a fast track usually around 24 days of class with 1 day of certification exam.
The second option is for you to take the regular curriculum path for the specific solution you want to certify in. However, this includes more than 25 days of training and you will also have to pay for the certification exam separately at $500 each. Here is the link to the curriculum paths:
    http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education. Click on Application Courses.
The last option is not to take any classes at all but do self study or if you already have extensive background and training in the particular SAP solution you want to certify in. you can register for the exam. (We do not have self study materials to prepare you for the exam).
The Solution Academy for the BW/BI is:

  • ILM 3.0 Partner Certification

    Hi All,
My organization is thinking about getting ILM 3.0 partner certification for one of its products, and i have been asked to do some ground work on this, i am basically an ABAP consultant and new to ILM and to the process of getting partner certification from SAP ICC. I have a few questions which hopefully will be answered(or point me in the right direction) by the forum experts
    1) Can we get the ILM 3.0 certification for all of the below SAP NW releases - 2004, 7.0, 7.1 and 7.3 or is it specific to any of these releases?
    2) Is the installation of ILM part of SAP NW or should it be installed separately?
    3) I downloaded the Certification Spec and the test from SDN using the below link, are these the correct ones or should i check with SAP ICC.
    [Content Deleted 7 Oct 2012]
The cert spec doesn't specify any NW releases in specific, so does this mean we can use this spec for getting certification any of the SAP NW releases.
Below are the links for test plans

Look forward to the responses, thanks.
    Regards,
    Chen

    Dear Chen,
Without being a certification expert myself, here is what I found out from my SAP certication (ICC) contacts with regard to your questions:
1.) A certification is always performed within a specified system landscape setup, e.g with NetWeaver 7.01. According to the test plans the following relases can be used:
    a) SAP enhancement package 1 (EhP 1) for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Application Server Java (u201CAS_JAVA 7.01u201D)
    b) SAP NetWeaver 7.30 / 7.31 Application Server Java (u201CAS_JAVA 7.30u201D / u201CAS_JAVA 7.31u201D)
The certificate is then issued exactly for this release. Independendlly from this the interface version is supported by various NetWeaver releases, e.g. z.B. 7.00 und 7.30.
2.) The BC-ILM 3.0 certification does not require to install the ILM product.
3.) Yes, this information is up-to-date but not complete. The complete information incl. test kit etc. will be provided to the partner by his ICC consultant.
To proceed with your certification project, please contact the ICC directly, check out http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/icc.
    Best regards,
    Helmut Stefani

  • NO DATA IN REPORT

    Hi gurus...
We use two cube's for extraction one <b>actual(Current)</b> AND one <b>Plan(Forecast)...</b>
we move some characters of the Plan to the actual cube on a regular basis...
ex:- What ever we have planned for <b>2004(Plan)</b> in the year <b>2003(Actual)</b> we used the version = plan in the Selection of query.
Now we are Using multiprovider based on these two cubes and now I need 2 years past<b>(2002-2004)</b>
    ; <b>current year(2005)</b> and Future(2006-2009) in the query...
I need to change the versions of Plan to Actual as we get the data of 2002-2004(PAST DATA) from ACTUAL CUBE now...
When I give the Version as Actual and run the Query I see no data in the columns where I have given the Version from ACTUAL...<b>PAST DATA</b> I only see 0,00
But I see the columns filled which is getting data from PLAN:
      The infoprovider is the Multiprovider...
The query should be based on the Fiscal year entered by the User in the VARIABLE
Can anyone please help me for the same... what might be the reason and what might be the solution for the same..
    Cheers..
    Preethu...

    HI Preetham,
You can take a look at the selection and identification you have made in the multiprovider definition. Most of the cases of a multiprovider report not fetching any data relates to missing identifications of base chars.
For testing purpose also try to include the the InfoProvider in your query so that you can see what data somes from which base cube.
    Hope this helps...
