Planning layout can no longer be displayed after transport

Hello everybody,
I have transported a planning area with all levels and so on.
I have several Manual Planning Layouts with key figures in data columns and rows defined individually.
I am using defined values of G/L Account characteristics in Lead column, each row is defined by a G/L Account number of a specific Chart of accounts predefined in the Header.
I load my G/L Account numbers with the same flat file in Development system and in Production system but after transport the layout cannot be displayed.
If I maintained G/L account characteristic in RSA1 on production system, I find all the account numbers for my Chart of accounts but if I try to define a value of G/L Account in my planning package, I do not find any values on my Chart of Account???

I created a variable CURRMTH on Characteristic Fiscal Year/Period in my PLANNING AREA.
This variable CURRMTH has the following properties
Text Replacement : Medium text
Replacement Type : Fixed Value
Selection : Fiscal Year/Period is set to 001.2005
Now, I created a Layout
Fiscal Year Period in Data Column and Key Figure in Lead Column.
In my Layout: Data Column tab , I put the following
Heading : CURRMTH
Key Figure : NEWLISTKF
Variable
Fiscal Year/Period: CURRMTH
Do you forsee any inconsistencies here ?
One more question, do I also have to set my Planning Level / Package to have characteristic Fiscal Year/Period to Variable ?

Apple changed MobileMe to iCloud and then restricted iCloud to 10.7 users only unfortunately
If your machine is a 64 bit processor Intel Mac you can upgrade to 10.7 for $29, however a lot of your 10.5/10.6/Rosetta based software could cease to function, especially third party hardware drivers for printers, fax machines, all-in-ones, scanners etc.

Also depending how old the machine is, if it can accept 4GB of RAM (preferred), older video card, may not run 10.7 very well or stable.
My advice is to keep at 10.6.8, get a web based email service that's plaform/hardware neutral, forward your iPhone emails there. Gmail/Yahoo Mail for instance.
When your ready for new hardware and all new software, then buy a new machine.
If your going to go to 10.7 on your present hardware, I advise you clone 10.6.8 to a external drive first, that way you can c boot off the 10.6 disk erase the drive completely (necessary to remove hidden Lion Recovery Partition) and option boot off the 10.6.8 clone and reverse clone.

Can no longer use pages after upgrade, even after three restorations! Huge inconvenience!!

Can anyone help me with why I can no longer use pages after the latest upgrade to iOS 7.04. I have restored my ipad three times and it still won't work. It s ahuge inconvenience when all my documents are on pages. If you can get back to me as soon as possible that would be great!!

Turn off iCloud for Pages on your mobile device at Settings > Pages > Use iCloud > Off.
Open Pages on your computer and move any documents in iCloud to your desktop for safe keeping.
Navigate to system preferences > iCloud > Manage and check that Pages documents are not taking any space in the cloud, delete them if they are.
Enable iCloud syncing for Pages on your mobile device and launch the App.
If Pages now opens properly, start to add back documents from your desktop one at a time (or in small groups if you have many).

When I uncheck "SSL" it's working well, but it's not very secure. When I leave SSL, I got in "Connection Doctor" the message "Trying to log in to this SMTP account failed. Verify that the username and password are correct.", only for the SMTP. For the IMAP, the status in Green. It's also working well on the iPhone 6 with ios8 and other mac with OS X 10.9 and previous versions.
The only thing that can be involved is that the certificat used by my mail provider is expired.
With connection docteur, there is a button "Show Details". Here is the conversation when connecting to the smtp.

Can no longer dual boot after upgrade

Hi I used to run mac osx 10.7 dual booting with ubuntu 13.04. I used to press alt at startup to view the different partitions and select the appropriate OS. After upgrading to 10.9 I can no longer see the ubuntu partition when pressing alt. The disk is still there intact, but there is no way I can directly boot to it from startup. I tried creating another partition using disk utility and installing a fresh copy of linux and using the old linux partition as backup but whenever I select the ex-fat (or any other type for that matter) (for linux) I get:
File system resize support required, such as HFS+ with Journaling enabled.
I erased osx 10.9 and reset to factory settings back to 10.8 but the same problem continues.
I am not sure what to do to get dual booting working again. I do have an ubuntu backup on an external drive, but I would prefer not reformatting that partition.

I don't know why you couldn't repartition the disk using Disk Utility. You would have to provide more information about why you can't.
As for OPTION booting Ubuntu I'm not sure how that worked. Typically Ubuntu installs the GRUB bootloader/manager that provides a text menu from which you select which OS to start. GRUB replaces the OS X boot manager.

Can no longer browse network after updates

I finally got the Migration from SBS 2003 to Server 2012R2 standard finished but after updates I can no longer browse network from the server, it was working fine before the 52 updates went on.
I have checked computer browser is running, DNS is working, check FDRP is running.
Have Googled many articles regarding this and tried a lot of the solutions to no avail.

1. Please check if NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled.
2. Please temporarily disable Firewall and monitor the result.
3.

Please temporarily stop Computer Browser service and then re-start it. Any difference?
4. Please follow the path: Control Panel-> Network and Sharing Center-> Change advanced sharing settings, then check if turn on
Network discovery and File and printer sharing.
Meanwhile, would you please run
net view command and let me know the result? (Please hide all protected or private information.)

Find my Friends can no longer be installed after iOS8

I Have had Find my Friends on my iPhone with iOS 6 and then 7 and used to work fine, but since I upgraded to iOS8 I can no longer install the App, it will start to install and then delete itself from the home screen. It will have all the entries in the Settings menus until the iPhone is restarted, this is as if it's forbidden to be installed on my iPhone. It's iPhone 5 model ND662KH/A.
i tried different Apple IDs but no change on this phone. The same can be installed on my iPad and there it works properly, just why it will not install on my iPhone 5?!!

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

Can no longer sync iPad2 after updating to ios7

When I looked for upgrades for my apps there was the ios7, asking me if I wanted to upgrade and I wish I hadn't. I lost all email function on my ipad, and it erased all previous emails stored on there. I can no longer sync my iPad, since my computer is an older iMac with version 10.5.8 OSX and is not linked to iCloud so now I cannot backup NOR sync my iPad. I am very ******. Does anyone know how to dump ios7 off the ipad and go back to ios6? OR how to fix any of these problems without me buying a new iMac? I cannot upgrade my iMac to the latest OS, it's too old. When I navigate to the U310T (touch) on the support site, I'm not finding a BIOS update.
It may be that we have removed it. The U310 (non-touch) does still show BIOS 65 available here for Windows 8/8.1 and BIOS 21 on the same page for Windows 7.
Is it possible that you have a touch model and applied the non-touch BIOS?

Can no longer find printer after upgrade to 10.6.7

I recently upgraded to 10.6.7 and now I can no longer find our network printer.
I am connecting by ethernet to a Konica Minolta IP-432 PS. I have updated the printer driver.
When I go to system pref to add this printer it is no longer being "found" .
Any help would be appreciated.

Can no longer overclock CPU after installing 4890 Cyclone OC

I recently purchased a MSI 4890 Cyclone OC to replace my XFX 8800 GT. With the 8800 GT, I was able to overclock my E8400 to 3.6 GHz from 3 GHz stock. After I installed the 4890, my PC will no longer accept any CPU overclock. When I power on my system with any OC, the PC will start to come up, power cycle itself before POST and reset the BIOS back to default clock speeds, and finish booting into Windows XP Home. Even with no OC, the PC seems to take longer to POST than with the 8800 GT.
I uninstalled the Nvidia driver before installing the 4890 and installed the latest ATI driver v. 9.8. I flashed my motherboard's BIOS to the latest version, set it to the defaults, and then put my OC settings back in. However, that didn't help.
I read in the NCIX forum that someone else had this exact same problem with his 4890 Cyclone, and he had a different model Gigabyte board. I'm wondering if there is some sort of incompatibility. Thanks for any help.

I had a 4890 Cyclone here for testing last week which I used to build a system for a friend. Can no longer use SMS after update to IOS 8.2

what at happened with the update to SMS messages on the iPad?
I was able to use SMS as well as iMessage on my iPad until I updated it to 8.2. Now I cannot use SMS at all. In settings -messages, there is no longer a toggle for "send as SMS" on/off as there used to be and as there still is on my iPhone after the update. There is also no longer a toggle for "MMS" Messaging nor Group messaging.
As I said, my iPhone is fine after the update.

IN your iPhone go to settings-messages-text mmessage forwarding. Tap on that and tap on the green toggle to turn it off.
THen go go back out of setting and then go back in and repeat the steps again and turn that option to forward text messages back on.
you will then get a message to put in a code that appears on your iPad. Look at your iPad and the message will be there with the code that you need to put in your phone.
ENter er that code in your phone and it should work.
THe he only thing is that I don't remember if I turned my phone off and then back on after I turned the setting off and then back on again before I turned that text forward setting back to on. So if the above does not work then try turning your phone off and then back on in between.
