Planning menus driven off of the Page dimension controls in Smart View

Apologies if this question is answered but I simply couldn't find an answer on the web, or in OTN, or on Oracle Support, or even (gasp) in the docs.
With that preamble...
I have a Planning form with popup/right click menus that, in a web browser -- IE9 in this case, can be called by right clicking on the row headers (or, with great difficulty in 11.1.2.2) the itsy-bitsy little Page dimension drop down triangles. Some (most) of the menus use the Planning Required Parameters feature to read row or page dimension members to pass the selected member as context to the new form.
So what about Smart View? Ah yes, in Smart View the row header right click allows the menu that uses Required Parameters to drive, for instance, Employee Detail for an Account (Planning passes the Account to a new form). It works just fine. This is the same as IE9.
But I simply cannot figure out how to make Smart View's POV display a popup/right click menu and of course pass that dimension member to the new form. Beyond reading the above sources, I tried just about everything i could think of in Smart View. Is it possible? If not, this would be a major bummer because the planners are not exactly in love with the ADF interface but do rather like Smart View.
Fwiw, it is Excel 2010 and Smart View 11.1.2.2.300 (Build 070).

I've not seen someone using a menu in POV (There could be valid reason for you doing it).
11.1.2.2 If you are using an dimension in POV as required parameter IE shows it in POV, Smartview is not showing that option at all. (Right click on Form shows blank)
I tried it on 11.1.2.3 to see something got fixed there (or updated) and found that right click on row shows the menu item (POV). (You don't need to right click on POV)

How to open the Data Perspective function of Smart View in EAS?
I use my Smart View to connect one ASO cube, and I found the button of Data Perspective is grey. It's not available.
In Smart View Users' Guide, it says:
Note: Data perspective may not be enabled in your Smart View system. Your options for data perspective are enabled and configured by the administrator in Oracle Essbase Administration Services.
But I could not find how to configure the this option in EAS.
Does anyone know about this?

I have already turned on the varying attributes function, but the data perspective button is still grey, not available.

My Deskjet 1056 cuts the last line off of the page

My Deskjet 1056 cuts half the last line of every page off. No matter what I'm printing from where. I've tried changing margins and printing areas and borders. I've heard to try changing the drivers to 990c or 450 . neither make a difference. Changing the port from bidirectional makes it worse. Even tried to change the print processor modes. No luck. Does anyone have any suggestions. When I print and alignment page the squares at the bottom print just fine and align the page just fine so that doesn't help either. I run on Windows7 I don't know if that has anything to do with it. PLEASE HELP. Thanks in advance

Hi ! Welcome to the HP Forums. I understand you are having an issue with printouts being cut off at the bottom when printing to your HP Deskjet 1056 All-in-One printer from your Windows 7 computer. I'd love to help you with this. The first thing I would suggest would be to make a copy on the printer itself. If the bottom of the page is cut off, then it could be an issue with the hardware. If the copy comes out fine, then we know the hardware is functioning properly. If the copy comes out fine, I would suggest installing the full feature software for you printer if you haven't already. You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options. 
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily. 
You can place the Tab Bar on top.

Massive Issue: "Audio Glitching" on footage from FS700. Sync is way off, but the footage is in fine when viewed in VLC.

This is a sort of difficult issue to describe because I've never encountered anything like it in any editing program before.
I'm attempting to cut some interview footage, but it's impossible because the audio seems to be cutting in and out and doesn't match the video at all. It was shot on a Sony FS700, and I can watch the footage in VLC and it plays back and the sync is fine. When I try to import the footage into Premiere the wave form seems to only go for about half the length of the interview and seems to be cutting out chunks of the sound. The footage is nearly double the length of the audio, so the second half of the footage is just silence. It's not a frame rate issue, because the sync doesn't gradually drift. It's a drastic difference between the video and waveforms. I've tried importing through windows and through media browser and still no luck. I've also cleared the media cache and that made no difference. This is extremely frustrating because I the footage plays back fine outside of Premiere and I've been using my Sony FS700 with Premiere for the past few years with no issues like this. I just updated to 2014.1 and I'm guessing that's part of the problem unfortunately. Oddly enough, the same project contains footage from a GH4 and AF100 with no audio issues.
My specs are as follows:
Windows 8.1 (Up to Date as 11/1/14)
Adobe Premiere CC 2014.1 (Up to Date as of 11/1/14)
Intel i7-3820
Nvidia GTX 670 (344.48 Driver)
32GB RAM
I don't have a screen casting program, but I could record some footage of the issue if my description isn't cutting it.

I was able to get the footage to play correctly, but only if I work with the footage directly off the SD card. The issue seems to arise when I import the footage that's been transferred to my hard drive.

Labels before Page dimensions in Planning web form

Can print popups, but they're halfway off the page

Using Acrobat 9 Extended and have received edits (Text edits and sticky notes).
I figured out how to print the comments on the page, but even though the balloons are on the left-hand side of the page, the popups appear on the right. I wouldn't mind, except that they also print on the right, actually halfway off of the page so I see half a popup.
Is there a way to have all popups appear in the center or something without having to go to each one and drag it?
Alternately, since I'm a flexible guy, I opted to print just the comments, and that went fine except for one thing: Each page's comments printed on a separate page. That means a page with 1 comment got an entire printed page of mosty empty space. I tried sorting by date, author, page, and whatever else it gave me, to no avail. Is there a way to just print the comments as a list without a lot of 90% empty pages?

You would not be able to get them back. They do warn you that this could happen at any time so it is your responsibility to have backups of everthing.

Change page dimensions to match an object

Hello. If I bring in an object (e.g. a photograph), is there a simple way to have the page dimensions match the object?
Currently I copy the dimensions of the photograph, select the page tool, select the page, and manually enter the new dimensions.

You're better off just selecting the bunch of images and Combine them Acrobat.
What you can do is go into Acrobat
File>Combine>Merge files into a single PDF.
If the images are huge - then I suggest running a Batch action on the folder of images to save them to a new folder - perhaps reducing the size something more screen friendly, perhaps 400 px in height and at whatever resolution is appropriate.

Binocular Search for a Page dimension

Hi All,
For a project dimension defined as page dimension in the webform which have 120 members, Binocular search button appearing in the next to Page dimension drop down. But where as Department dimension having 46 members binocular search button is not appearing.
Is there any criteria or setting in order to Binocular search button should appear for the page dimension in the webform?

Go to File->Preferences and select Display Option tab
Set the value of Allow seach when no. of pages exceeds to 10

How do I match the printed pdf page breaks with the page breaks from the online form?

The online form is setup to be 4-5 separate pages...each page going to a different person/group when it is printed in a pdf. However, when the form is printed, it prints out all the blanks and the forms are off by about a half page.
Is there any way to not print the blank spaces (I have several boxes hidden based on choices of the user), and to make the printed pdf honor the online page breaks?

When you are viewing the "Design" while authoring your form there is a "View" setting that you can access from the "View" menu along the top right, or from the dropdown at the bottom right corner, if you change from "Web View" to "Page View" you can add page breaks there that will affect the PDF.
Page View is an authoring view to design for PDF where Web View is an authoring View to design for web/browser/HTML forms. You can use both so that your form looks good in both web and PDF. Some features have to be added/edited in Web View because they are not supported in PDF such as Attatchments and Skip/Page logic, those are not available to add/edit in Page View. The Page Breaks added in Web View are not used in the PDF, in Page View "Implicit page breaks" are added automatically based on the size of the page in PDF and you can add "Explicit page breaks" using the form field toolbar as you did in Web View (which will only be used in the PDF).
When you ask if there is any way not to print the "blank spaces" you are referring to the questions that had remained hidden based on skip logic right? At this time the entire form is saved/printed to PDF, there is not an option to omit those hidden fields.

Position Page Dimension in FR

In Financial Reporting (9.3.1), when i create a report with a page dimension, in the html version of the report, the page drop-down is always in the middle of the page. Is there a way to move and position this page drop-down to some other places, for example, the top-left corner or top-right corner?

If you are asking what I think you are asking, i.e. "how can I get a PDF for just the 1 page that I have selected from the page dimension in a Financial Reporting Report rather than getting a PDF with a page for each member in the page dimension" then I'm afraid you can't.
FR sees members on the page dimension as part of the report and this has several consequences:
1. When you run the report you may notice it takes longer (particularly if there are a lot of members on the page) as data is retrieved for all members selected on the page dimension so that you can then quickly change from one to another without having to run further queries against the database.
2. You cannot then produce a seperate PDF for a specific member from the page dimension.
Have you tried moving the dimension from the page to the POV? You can only select a single member at a time in the POV and whilst this has similar opposite implications to those above I tend to find it works better and there is only one page when you convert to PDF.
