Please explain me how to create the planning profile and assign it to planning profile group in budgeting in marketing plan.I am unable to create the planning profile while creating the planning profile group.Please brief me.

planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring is carried out using SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI). Posting of budget data takes place in SAP ERP Core Component (SAP ECC).
1. Create and maintain marketing plan (CRM Server)
You create a marketing plan in the CRM Marketing Planner, maintain details, define the hierarchical structure of your plan, and assign marketing plan elements. When you save this marketing plan, it is transferred to the BI system for reporting purposes.
2. Plan marketing key figures (CRM Server)
Once you created a marketing plan, you plan key figures for that marketing plan directly in the CRM Marketing Planner. The planned key figures are transferred to the BI system where they can be used to plan the budget.
3. Release marketing plan (CRM Server)
When you completed your planning, you release the marketing plan. The data is transferred to SAP ECC Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
4. Commit and release budget data to ERP (BI)
In the BI system, you commit budget data and release it. It is transferred to CO-PA, where it can be used to evaluate the costs of the project.
5. Compare plan/actual revenue and cost (BI)
In the BI system, you can monitor response and success rates, monitor open orders, and compare plan/actual revenues and costs.

Office 2013 latest update broke new profile creation on all network computers

Setup details:
We're using samba 3 as our backend and all workstation are Windows 7 Pro x64.
Office 2013 Home and Business Retail (en-us) Click 2 Run version
Context:
Deployed to the whole network of one of our client using the Office Deployement Tool.
We update their base update (no updates) to the latest update 15.0.4569.1508
Everything was working alright after initial Office 2013 installation with no updates. After updating the all the PCs to the latest version as of 31/03/2014, the user profile creation broke for newly created user.
Symptoms and causes:
Trying to log on as a new user on the machine would give the following error on Logon before automatically loging off because it cannot copy the following file to the new user profile:
D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_00.sqm
D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_01.sqm
D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_02.sqm
The Bici folder has Read and Execute permissions for everyone but the _XX.sqm files inside only have permissions (Full Control) for SYSTEM and Administrators and LOCAL SERVICE with the all permissions EXCEPT:
- FULL CONTROL
- TRAVERSE FOLDERS/EXECUTE FILES
- CHANGE PERMISSIONS
- TAKE OWNERSHIP
Solution:
I gave "everyone" Read and Execute permission on those files and the new user could log in and his profile got created alright.
The files with broken permissions time stamp shows they've been modified during the Office 2013 update and Bici seems to be a OneDrive related service. This bug should get fixed ASAP.
Event log error:
Windows cannot copy file \\?\D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_01.sqm to location \\?\D:\Users\TEMP\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_01.sqm. This error may be caused by network problems or insufficient security rights.

Background job fails for BDC profile creation and role assignment
Hi Experts,
I have created a BDC Function module for Tcode 'PFCG' for profile creation and role assignment, and called this FM in my zprogram. the problem is that when i run this program in foreground it executes succesfully, but if i schedule it in background it fails throwing error in job log 'Role 'Z...' does not contain any active authorizations'. But i have created one more program to create authorization objects which runs before this zprogram.I have also checked the authorization object in 'RSECADMIN', it reflects active. I dont understand whats happening exactly when it runs background.
Below is the process of job
1. ZMIS_AUTH_OBJECT_CREATE

The problem is in second program, runs in foreground but fails in background.

Yeah definately, my requirement is that I have to access of some BI reports to certain users, so contract data will be downlaoded from ECC on application server, need to read that file from application server and for the each contract i ahould create a authorization object, role creation and assigning of role to the user and profile generation and activation.

i have created dummy objects to copy the roles from dummy object and assign the same to new Auth obj, role & profile.

Oracle 11gR2 RAC: how to solve "user profile creation mask failed" ?

I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2 whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6) in VMPlayer.
I am using Cluster Verification Utility (CVU) to test the 2 nodes for Grid installation as follows:
[ora11g@rac1 grid] $ ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n all -r 11gR2 -orainv ora11g -fixup -fixupdir /mydir -verbose
All items for rac2 are passed. There is only one item for rac1 is not passed as follows:
Check default user profile creation mask:
Node Name: rac1
Available: 0002
Required: 0022
Comment: failed
There are 3 ways to solve this issue:
1) In the file /etc/bashrc, change the line "umask 0002" to "umask 0022".
2) In the file /etc/profile, add line "umask 0022" at the end of the file.
3) In the file /etc/csh.cshrc, change the line "umask 002" to "umask 0022".
In rac2, I got the same issue in the past. I just change the line "umask 0002" to "umask 0022" in the file /etc/bashrc and the issue is solved.
But in rac1, I have tried each of the 3 options and also combined 1) and 2), 1) and 3), 2) and 3), 1) and 2) and 3). Totally, that's 7 options. But all of 7 options cannot solve the issue.
The script runcluvfy.sh still tests rac1 user profile creation mask failed. My question is:
Do any folk understand how to solve VM rac1 user profile creation mask problem ?

Hello. I follow the document "Oracle Grid Infrastructure Installation Guide 11g Release 2 (11.2) for Linux E22489-04" and do the following:
[root@rac1 /]#echo $SHELL
Output: /bin/bash
This means we need to edit Bash shell file .bash_profile.
[ora11g@rac1 ~]$vi /home/ora11g/.bash_profile
Add this line: umask 022
Then I save the file .bash_profile and reboot OS.
Then I run the following command:
[ora11g@rac1 grid] $ ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n all -r 11gR2 -orainv ora11g -fixup -fixupdir /mydir -verbose
But the reusult is the same. The issue is not solved as follows:
Check default user profile creation mask:
Node Name: rac1
Available: 0002
Required: 0022
Comment: failed
Do any folk understand how to solve VM rac1 user profile creation mask problem ?

WE20 - Partner profile Creation

I am an FI consultant and working on task - generating the I docs for the Billing documents. We have configured the Out put determination for Billing documents.
I have to create the partner profile for the specified customer in WE20.
Do we have to maintain both Inbound and Out bound parameters?
Also please guide me what are the parameters i need to select for adding in both the cases for the Customer partner profile creation ?

Explorer.exe crashes at start of profile creation when domain-joined (using Samba 3.6.25)

Getting this error (copied from Event Viewer) on a Windows 8.1 Pro client - an event ID of 1000, every time at the start of profile creation when logging in with a domain account. So explorer.exe crashes because of "twinui.appcore.dll" and profile
creation is taking a very long time (about 17 minutes).
Then after being stuck during "Almost ready" screen we are getting a Start-button that is stuck (non-clickable) (and also arrows on the metro-screen icons). Restarting explorer.exe manually helps to get a functional Start-button again.
Tried using a roaming profile and without using a roaming profile (Group Policy setting to always keep profiles local). That does not seem to matter.

Arequest for a solution of profile creation
hello.I got an used Hp palm phone and its model is P102UNA I have selected the option Secure full erase in it,after that the mobile automatically shut down's itself.And when I turn it on it ask's me to create a new account or sign in to your account I created a new account and my mobile got activated and my mobile after somedays met with a trouble named virus and then once again I select the option of 'secure full erase' after that it automatically shut down's itself.And when I turn it on I do the same process but it tells me your profile creation is failed.kindly request for solution.

If I understood your issue correctly, after you click on 'Budgeting' button on marketing plan, system does not display the top-down budgeting. If this is the case, there is a customizing entry which has to be maintained in the navigation bar profile . I believe the entry is found in define OP mapping. please compare your navigation bar profile with standard one of business role MARKETINGPRO.

Creation of Budget Billing Plan for Countries with Tax Jurisdiction
Hello Experts,
When I create a budget billing plan for a company code with country Canada/USA and jursidiction TAXCAJ/TAXUSJ using transaction EA61, I get the message "Taxes with jurisdiction code not permitted with down payments"(Message no. >0194). The long text for this message says "Delete your entry in the field for jurisdiction code" Is any one aware where from this jurisdiction code should be deleted.
Is it possible to create budget billing plan for countries with jurisdiction code at all ?

What I learnt in the process of exploring the functionality is that Payment PLan (BBP or AMB) is the budget billing method for countries with Tax Jurisdiction. Statistical, Partial & Payment Scheme only works when jurisdiction is not defined for tax procedure. Payment scheme is the recommend procedure for Eurpopean market

STEP 2: I eneterd the contract number.
step 3.i executed and error rises saying
" contract account so ans o needs to be changd for budget billing 01 or 02"
i have changed it then still the same error occurs.

For creating the budget billing plan via EA61, please try choosing the budget billing procedure as 1 or 2 in CA.
You might be getting the message in EA61 as:
This is not possible, because the value in the BB procedure (budget billing procedure) field in contract account XXXXXX no longer represents a budget billing procedure (1 or 2). It is therefore not possible to create a budget billing plan. You can only create a payment plan (procedure 3) using Simulate Payment Schedule.
Please check if the corresponding budget billing procedure is configured correctly in SPRO.
path: SPRO -> SAP Utilities -> Invoicing -> Budget Billing Plan -> Basic Settings.

No commitment creation despite budget is created
Hi all,
On HCMPSe, after budget creation and once PPOME shows data on "Budget" tab, i´m unable to create commitment for employees.
I try to do so from "Financing status" tab and i don´t receive any error message, but documents are not created. Anyway, the financing status field on the tab with the same name shows the message "Financing is up to date".

DP - Selection profile creation
Hi all,
I am trying DP. I created a planning book. However, I can't assign any selection profile to it. I don't see any objects and I couldn't see any way to create a new one on TC /SAPAPO/SDP94.
I have already activated the planning book by creating time series objects, and maintained the planning object structure on /SAPAPO/MC62 with some entries.
I appreciate any help.

4.6 Creating Selection Profiles for the Planning Book
Use
For your planning process, you need to make a selection that restricts the range of products and locations. To do this, you create one or more selection profiles.
The demand planner uses the selection profile to quickly access frequently used selections.
Procedure
1. To access the planning book choose one of the following navigation options:
SAP SCM menu Advanced Planning and Optimization  Demand Planning  Planning  Interactive Demand Planning
Transaction code /SAPAPO/SDP94
2. In the Planning Book: SAP Standard Demand Planning screen, choose Selection window in the left screen area.
The Object Selection dialog box is displayed.
3. From the possible entries list in the Show field, select APO Product.
4. Enter the planning version 000 in the field to the right of the APO Planning Version field.
5. In the second row, restrict the range of products by specifying only those products that you actually need for your planning task. To do this, select APO Product and use the multiple object selection :
For the Make-to-Stock scenario, for example, select APO-FERT-01 and APO-FERT-02, for other scenarios, specify the respective products.
6. Choose Save selection in the Objects Selection dialog box.
7. Enter for example, MTS_CPG or VMI_CPG as the selection description and choose Save.
8. Choose Adopt
9. To store the saved selection in your selection profile, choose Maintain selection profile in the left screen area. In the Maintain Selection Profiles for Users dialog box, use drag and drop to transfer the saved selection from the right area to your selection profile on the left.
10. Choose Save and Copy.
11. To display objects that belong to a selection profile, double-click the selection. The system displays the objects in the upper left screen area. -

I am having a selection profile already existing and i need to create a new selection profile which has a similar structure that of the previous one. My question is how do i see the contents of the already existing selection profile and how do i create the new one. I did try to create a selection profile getting into the interactive planning book but i am not able to see that while making a selection while creating the variant.

If you still want to perform Forecasting of a particular set of Plant - Org components combination , as Nair said you will need to maintain the selection in the Planning Book for that Planning Area. As selections are stored for the Planning Book and if you want to run the background job in this Plannign Book you need to maintain the selections in the same Plannign Book.
Once you have the selection ID s created, whether manually
main menu > DP> Environment > Selection Organization.> Maintain Selection Assignments.
Then try to use two differet selection ID s.
One selection ID for Constant forecasting,
Second one for No forecast.
