Planning Sequence: Error when runnning in a Process Chain

When trying to run a planning sequence in a process chain (with the correct variable input variant) I receive the following error message:
Inconsistent input parameter (parameter: <unknown>, value <unknown>
When running this planning sequence in the modeler, it runs without errors.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Can you pls explain your requirement..
1)Are you trying to trigger this proces chain in the background?
2)Does the planning sequence which you are trying to execute in the process chain contains a planning function that is expecting some variables to be passed by the user?

well,
there are 3 meta chain, which runs at 3 different time ( fixed , like 1st run at 8:00 am, 2nd on 6 pm and 3rd on midnite ) and all three meta chains are the same, these meta chain has this pc, which i m working on. and thats y i need to put discision , bcoz for all 3 times there are 3 diff. DTP has to execute.
so, in my descision i am giving half an hour time interval ( 8:00 am to 9:00 am) , (6pm to 7pm ) and ( midnite to 1 am)
so, depending upon the time , when the meta chain gets executed , from my PC the only on DTP gets executes. and other 2 gets fails. same way at 6 pm when once again meta chain gets executed and when it comes to my PC my 2nd descision gets setisfies and execute 2nd DTP with option 2. here option 1 and 3 dont work...and so on
also , i have mention following formula in my descision
option 1 --> Local Time >= '14:10:00' AND Local Time <= '14:55:00'
option 2---> Local Time >= '18:05:00' AND Local Time <= '18:20:00'
option 3 ---> Local Time >= '20:00:00' AND Local Time <= '20:30:00'

Error when creatiing transport for process chain

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a transport for a process chain, but when i click on the red truck i get the following error: Error in Object Editing: Edit objects seperately since they belong to different original systems.
Can you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Has this process chain or some components of it (for example IPAK) been brought from some other system?
Try collecting all the objects in RSA1/Transport connection - and see the directory entries for each subobject (txnSE03 or TADIR table). You may have to either change the source system for some objects (in SE03) or split the transport objects manually into multiple transports.

Error in ODS activation in process chain

I am getting errors when activating request using process chains.
Error message is Message No. RSM1102.
Please suggest if any notes apply for this.

Hi,
This happens when data is not acceptable to ODS definition. Data need to be corrected in PSA.
Check for Infoobject which has caused this problem in the monitor details tabstrip. Delete request from datatarget after changing QM status to red. Correct data in PSA and update data back to datatarget from PSA.

The lock to protect the data records being processed could not be set. The

Process chains: error when including CVC generation process type

hello all !
I have a Pc that loads data from custom extractor into a Icube.
next triggers Generate Characteristic combination which never executes. Status remains active but no "completed succesfully" (yellow triangle) in monitor of pc.
When I run it alone the CVC generation process types executes OK...??!!!
My sequence is Delete Index from cube ---> Load IP --> Atribute change run ---> Create Index --> Delete overlapping request (up to hear loads oK although status never becomes green '??)
final step is a CVC generation + adjust time series process type.
Does any of you know why the error ? and how to help solving it out ?

I guess you can directly go to RSA1->Source Systems.Rt click and Transfer Global Settings then Delete the Red Request and Go to the Particular Process chain and do a Repeat/Repair.
You can try repairing it...

Planning Sequence error - You do not have sufficient authorization

Hello Experts,
I am encountering the following error during execution of my planning sequence:
You do not have sufficient authorization
Message no. EYE007
Diagnosis
You do not have sufficient authorization for the requested data records.
Procedure
Either select other data or get the required authorizations from your administrator.
Can anyone please suggest me what could be the possible cause of this error and how can I overcome it?

Check the planning level on which planning sequence is based for values restriction.Looks like values for which it is been restricted you are not authorized or Roles assigned to you are not restricted with values in planning level.
Also check if level is been restricted with any variable on which authorization is been restricted.Some are user specific example specific business area are assigned to only some users ...so you need to add your user ID to those variable.

Error when running the OWB process flow from the shell script

Hi Kamal and kanakam kolla,
This is just to let you know that,I solved my problem little differently by creating a new location and deployed the process flow.Now my process flow is working fine when i call from the shell script.What i see is that, it does not update properly when we update and redeploy the process flow.So far this is the work arround i could think off and i succesfully tested this.

Did you create any new OID Process Form Fields or deleted any existing old 1. This could usually occur when their is a mismatch in the Process Form for the user resource and the actual active version of the form in the Form Designer. If that is true then try the Form Version Control utility to make them consistent.

Error when executing external workflow process

OWB 9.2 with server on Windows NT.
I can successfully execute a mapping workflow process from the deployment manager, but I get an error when executing a simple external process:
command: move
parameters: ?c:\\data\\owbtest\\src.txt?c:\\data\\owbtest\\trg.txt
Resulting output:
Create Process: move c:\data\owbtest\src.txt c:\data\owbtest\trg.txt error=2
File c:\data\owbtest\src.txt exists.
My questions:
1. What am I doing wrong?
2. What does error=2 mean? Is this a Windows error?
3. Do I have to configure some location for the process? What does 'use default location' mean for the configuration property Working Location? Is a host-logon performed before the host-command is executed?
4. Is there logging available for an external process? In the workflow tables or views?
5. I can't find much documentation for these questions. Is there more documentation than the OWB user guide and the OWF guide?

It seems that commands that are not an executable in some directory, but are part of the Windows kernel (like 'move'), need to be started as a parameter of the cmd command. I did this and now it works fine.

Media Manager Sequence Error when trying to archive video.

When we are done with a project we like to use media manager to consolidate only the used video (with handles) to save space.
This has never posed a problem until lately. On about five of the last projects when the media manager begins reconnecting media we get the following error:
"Sequence Error: Unable to add clip to sequence. Possible media limits problem in clip or sequence"
The only option is to abort so a new sequence is never created. Also, it will not tell me which clip caused the error. I tried moving everything into a new sequence and got the same error. Then I tried it without handles, then I tried it without deleting the unused media. I have also tried the projects on other computers (All 10.6.4, all FCP 7.02) All had the same error.
The only other reference to this error I can find deals with a multicam edit. None of these projects have any multicam edits.
Anyone got any ideas what is going wrong? I have tried to think if we are doing anything differently lately and the only thing i can come up with is using more of Tiffen's DFX filters.

May have found the solution. Short story: I think it was some weirdness trying to media manage a sequence with a freeze frame of a video clip. I have had some issues in the past with final cut handling freeze frames.

BPS Marketing-Planning RFC-Error when Using summation

Hi Together,
we're using BPS for planning Marketing-Costs. The BPS-Layout is Included in a CRM 7.0 WebUi, and we're able
to plan Marketing-Costs.
The Layout is defined as keyfigures in data-columns, rows are defined individually.
If I add an extra Summation row and/or an extra summation column I'm getting an RFC Error
in the WebUi.
Has anyone an idea why summations causes such an error?

Sequence error when creating a multiclip, help!!

I have a bunch of clips I select and try to build a multiclip sequence with from 2 cameras with synced timecode, and after I click to build the multiclip sequence and go through the settings, I get an error that says:
Sequence Error: Unable to add clip to sequence. Possible media limits problem in clip or sequence.
this happens if I select 20 clips or 2 clips. Anyne have any suggestions? FYI, I am editing in native hdv.

There has to be enough overlap between clips, I think 36% or so. Could that be a problem.

Error encountered while running a process chain

Was wondering what's the cause of this error:
Invalid call sequence to interfaces when recording changes.
We keep on getting this error message when we try to activate and schedule our process chain.

We run into this problem every time we Activate/Schedule a Process Chain; doesn't really affect anything. The chain still runs as scheduled once you "OK" through the error messages.
Seems to be some rogue message that comes up in more Authorization-sensitive environments (Read: PRD)
I have researched this to fruitless extents: no Notes exist, etc.
Sorry I can't be of more help other than to say "I feel your pain" :-D
