Planning to expose additional APIs... Which ones should be top priority?

Hi everyone,
We are working on the plans for the next APIs to be exposed for Open Platform, and would like to get your feedback on you will like to see next in terms of APIs. Based on what we heard so far, our priority list for APIs looks like:
Page Properties Update
Secure Zones List
Template Properties Update
Assign web app items to secure zones
CRM APIs
List customers
List companies ???
List cases
Customer detail
Customer Create, Update, Delete
Order detail
Order Create, Update, Delete
Case detail
Case Create, Update, Delete
List event bookings
Event booking Create, Update, Delete
List Mailing lists
eCommerce APIs
List Products
List Catalogs
List Discount Codes
List Gift Vouchers
Create, Update, Delete Products
Create, Update, Delete Catalogs
Create, Update, Delete Discount Codes
Create, Update, Delete Gift Vouchers
The first 4 have been raised after the first closed release of the APIs, while the rest are the ones currently exposed to SOAP and used to third party systems or even apps. Which ones would you like to see first? Any other APIs which are more important than these ones?
Thank you,
Cristinel

Of the current SOAP APIs I think my top five would be:
- CRM: Order Create, Update, Delete
- CRM: Event booking Create, Update, Delete
- Ecom: List products
- Ecom: Create, Update, Delete Discount Codes
- Ecom: Create, Update, Delete Gift Vouchers

  • I am planning to buy DSLR Camera which one should I go for .

     Dear Team,
I am planning to buy DSLR Camera which one should I go for . I have selected  three camera models EOS Rebel T4i DSLR , EOS Rebel T5i DSLR  or EOS 7D please let know the cons and pros of the three cameras and help in buying .
    Regards,
    Kalyan

There's not much of a jump from the T4i to the T5i; Canon releases updates to these Rebels so frequently they often lack substance.  Looking at the specs I don't see anything that jumps out at me - I'd grab whichever one I could get cheaper.
The 7D is a substantial jump up.  Much more sophisticated autofocus.  Faster burst rate, shorter shutter lag, weather sealing, better build, better LCD, viewfinder coverage, etc.  Keep in mind it's the same old sensor, but there's a lot more to a camera than a sensor.   The 7D has been the go to camera of sports enthusiasts for years.
Edit:  I didn't mean to sound like I was selling the Rebels short, I think they're a great camera for the price, depending on your needs.  There are things that more novice photographers may prefer in a camera over the 7D, like built in flash, or the flip out screen, or in-camera HDR.

  • Planning on selling 1 of the 10.5.6 DVDs, which one should I keep?

I have 2 Mac OS X 10.5.6 DVDs, the gray retail one that came with my computer and one I had bought separately with the spacey background. Which one should I keep? And when Snow Leopard comes should I sell the remaining OS X DVD or keep it in case there are computer problems and I need to reinstall?

The one which you got with the computer.
And when Snow Leopard comes should I sell the remaining OS X DVD
No. That DVD isn't allowed to be sold separately from the computer it came with and cannot be used to install the OS on a different Mac model.

I am using TM Unifi with an ASUS RT-N18U Wi-Fi router.  I would like to know could I use Apple AirPort Time Capsule to extend (repeater, booster) my Wi-Fi to a part of the house where the Wi-Fi signal is poor
Yes,, if you plan to connect the AirPort Time Capsule to the ASUS router using an Ethernet cable connection that will remain fixed and permanently installed at all times.
No, if you were planning to have the AirPort Time Capsule connect wirelessly and extend the Asus WiFi signal, since it would not be compatible with another manufacturer's router for that purpose.
Another way of saying the same thing here would be that if you want to extend the network wirelessly, it will take two Apple routers to do so

  • After Effects or Shake? Which one should i choose?

After Effects or Shake? Which one should i choose?
I never use them before, now i want to choose one to learn.
Im a Mac fans, i do want to use the Mac family product, Shake, but a lot of my friends prefer After Effects.
    What one is better? Why?
I just a film student, a beginner, which one is better in the video production area? Which one is better for me?
    Help me make a decision!
    Thanks!

if you said you were looking to create motion graphics and comps (bumpers, titling and ad's) for a video company or local television station, AE would be a really good match (Shake would likely require additional motion graphics help (like  Motion and perhaps even audio and edit applications as well.)
However, if you are a film student and intend to learn and create composite images for film (and video) then your choice is also as clear, absolutely, Shake.

  • Multiple Apple ID's, which one should be main iCloud ID on iOS 5?

Hey!  Seems like iCloud is a bit more complex to setup than I had thought it would be.  Here's the situation.  I have two Apple ID's.  One is my @me.com account that I just migrated to iCloud.  Second Apple ID is an @gmail.com account that I use for all of my iTunes purchases (also migrated to iCloud.  I know you can have multiple Apple ID's setup in iOS (by means of "Mail, Contacts, Calenders"), but there is only room for one account under the "iCloud" tab/setting under iOS settings.  Which one should be used here?  My @me.com, or the one I use for iTunes purchases? ...or does it even matter?  Just want to set everything up optimally from the start so I don't have to go back later and correct something.
    Thanks all for your assistance!

  • Why do I have both photoshop cc and photoshop cc (64 bit) in my menu? Which one should I be using?

Why do I have both photoshop cc and photoshop cc (64 bit) in my menu? Which one should I be using?

The majority of the time using the 64 bit version is better, since you have more resources available (ram)
If you need to run some older third party plugins that were only ever offered as 32 bit plugins, then the 32 bit version is the choice.
Or if you happen to use a scanner with twain, then the 32 bit version.

  • Duplicate "Apple Loops for Garage Band"...which ones should I keep?

Hi. I've just started using GarageBand 3 (3.0.4), and noticed that I have duplicates of each and every instrument loop. Both Loops folders are located in my user:Library, one in "Audio" the other in "Application Support". Once you drill down to the actual "Loops" folder, the contents are exactly the same. Which one should I keep, which should I toss (it takes up a gig, which is why I want to toss one.)?

You have to locate your Loops Index files (good chance you have two folders with that name), then start GB and drag the loops that you still want into the Loops window for re-indexing.
Uh presumably after you have located the Index files and before you start GB, you are supposed to do something to the Index files (like delete them)? Maybe this was implied, but it was not explicit.

  • Which one should i download?

    Hi All,
I am doing a project in Sourceforge.net for that project i need to install mail server.so i thought of downloading JAMES from apache website..
there are so many files in the page http://james.apache.org/download.cgi i was a bit confused to download which file under the heading Apache JAMES 2.3.1 is the best available version
    there are files like
    * Binary (Unix TAR): james-binary-2.3.1.tar.gz [PGP]
    * Binary (ZIP Format): james-binary-2.3.1.zip [PGP]
    * Mailet SDK (Unix TAR): james-MailetSDK-2.3.1.tar.gz [PGP]
    * Mailet SDK (ZIP Format): james-MailetSDK-2.3.1.zip [PGP]
    * Source (Unix TAR): james-2.3.1-src.tar.gz [PGP]
    * Source (ZIP Format): james-2.3.1-src.zip [PGP]
    * Source with Avalon Phoenix binaries (Unix TAR): james-with-phoenix-2.3.1-src.tar.gz [PGP]
    * Source with Avalon Phoenix binaries (ZIP Format): james-with-phoenix-2.3.1-src.zip [PGP]
    * Other Binaries
which one should i download and install to configure mail server..
    Please help me...
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ramesh Ale

Unless you need the source you would normally download the binary distributions - either james-binary-2.3.1.tar.gz(Linux/Unix) or james-binary-2.3.1.zip (Windows). Since the two are essentially the same except for the compression method you can download either. It just depends on which one you can 'decompress'.
Note: Though it is a couple of years since I installed and used James, it was my experience that some service providers do not accept emails sent through James. It seems there is some form of registration system in place.

Do i need to install and anti virus software on my macbook air? if yes, which one should i install?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
OS X has got its own security systems, so you don't need any antivirus. Furthermore, they will only slow down your computer. If you want more information, read > http://www.thesafemac.com/mmg
If you want an antivirus, install ClamXav, but you don't need an antivirus

  • How the process starts in XI and which one should start first ?

How the process starts in XI and which one should start first ?

    XI flow :
1.File picked by the adapter,at the A.E it converts to XML format.
2.Generate a msg ID for the file and creates XI header to that file  using CPA cache. CPA cache will be having the    information about all the Control(address) data.
    3.Module processor
4.The file goes to send queue by the adapter engine, that file will be  picked by the internal XI adapter and the file    will be forwarded to the Integration engine.
5.Pipeline steps follow the Integration Engine.
Receiver determination, Interface determination, Msg split, Msg  mapping, Logical routing, Receiver aggrement, call adapter
6.The file will go to receive queue, which was taken and forwarded to the adapter engine.

  • Which one should I learn first?

I am becoming an common Oracle DBA and I want to learn RedHat Linux. But I do not know the difference between Redhat Linux 9 and Redhat Enterprise Linux 5. What are they for? Which one should I learn first?

But I do not know the difference between Redhat Linux 9 and Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.RedHat Linux 9 is very oldest brother of RHEL5. While RH9 is public (free of charge) distribution, RHEL5 is commercial no free (of charge) distribution. Redhat 9 was last public (free) release from Redhat corporation, since next release it was called Fedora. Name "Redhat" is used only for Commercial enterpise distribution.
There is not difference between using/mantaining of them. But the main difference is that Redhat 9 has pretty old version of kernel, and other packages and is not supported by Oracle.
What are they for?If we are speaking about Linux then we are speaking about Unix like operating system. So your question is just like "What is Windows for?".
Which one should I learn first? As I said before, there is not difference between using/mantaining of them. But as Redhat 9 is pretty old distribution then use RHEL5. There is also existing distribution Centos which is clone of RHEL. When you install Centos 5 in fact you are using RHEL but with changed logos and texts (brands). But unfortunatelly this clone is not officialy supported by Oracle so it can't be use for production Oracle installations. For more informations and download look here: http://www.centos.org
There is also another RHEL clone shipped by Oracle (and is supported by Oracle of course). You can download it from http://edelivery.oracle.com/linux
