I use iBooks to store and organize my PDFs. You can get iBooks free from the App Store.
If your are viewing a PDF in Safari you can tap the PDF and get the option to "Open in iBooks." once you open the PDF in iBooks you can create different collections and store related items together.
Besides getting PDFs from Fari you can receive them in emails. Tap to get the open in iBooks choice.
If the PDFs are on the computer you normally sync with you can copy them into the Book section of iTunes on your computer so that the next time you sync they will be copied to your iPad. Once on your iPad you can move them into Collections that you might have created.

Post the PDF files to a web site. The browse to them in Safari on the iPad. When you Open the files specify the Open to occur in Adobe Reader. Then you can have/Save them in your Documents folder on the iPad. An iPad has limited access to files otherwise.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

Since the only thing needed in that box is the small piece of paper with the (very long) registration code on it (usually found inside the booklet), see if that is actually there and, if it is, call Apple at 800-275-2273 and ask to be transferred to the Applecare department. Connecting the iPad to the internet via the iPhone is done by setting up a personal HotSpot, but you have to have that supported by your carrier and have to have established the account to do so.
On the iPhone, Settings > General > Network > Set Up Personal Hotspot

It seems like Illustrator may not consistently be updating the embedded pdf file when re-saving, even if the embedded illustrator file does. We are seeing a number of issues which seem to suggest this is going on..... I have a file I might be able to share with adobe's developers to really look at this problem. In short this file does not have a client change when viewed in reader or output through Photoshop image processor to generate raster copies, yet when we open the file we see the client changes. I would expect this to be a huge issue..... I have told my team to perform a save-as from now on to avoid what I think is going on-it seems to work.....
We are using Illustrator CS5.5 (15.1.0)

I think your pdf file is probably damaged. There is a tool called Advanced PDF Repair. I have used it to repair many corrupt PDF files successfully. Its homepage is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/ Maybe you can have a try.

I think it is a good idea NOT to store it under (== within) your application. That makes updates of the app easier and the pdf's can be maintained without touching the webapp. And vice versa.
WLS offers you the possibility to link any local drive to a web application. Just define this virtual drive in weblogic.xml :

If your Mac is using the Lion operating system with recent updates, it will be necessary to download and install AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility 5.6
Select the AirPort Extreme and click Manual Setup
Click the Wireless tab just below the row of icons
Click the Wireless Network Options button
Remove the check mark next to Create a closed network
Click Done, then click Update to save the new settings and allow 25-30 seconds for the AirPort Extreme to restart

How did you get the PDF into iTunes, drag to the books library? What PDF apps do you have on the iPad? If you dragged into the books library - and you have iBooks, look in there.
You can email the PDF to yourself and it will open a as mail attachment. You need a compatible app in order to save it, but you can open it from the mail app.
