Plano de Cut over

Pessoal,

Julio,
Segue abaixo o plano de Cut Over que tenho usado desde 2009 quando coloquei aqui a pergunta.
Graças a deus muitos projetos se passaram e deu tudo certo.
Não consegui anexar o XLS, então copie e colei a planilha

  • FM- Cut Over Activities

    Hi,
I am implementing FM in the mid of the year.
What all documents should be considered for cut over
    1) Open PO's - If I want them to create commitment items.
    2) Close PO's  - invoicing done, but in case credit memo in relation to those invoices is to be posted.
    3) FI documents - If reversal of those document is done.. then it wld require Fund Center.
    4) Open Sales order
I was planning to use dummy fund center for this.
What are the steps to be followed :-
Like FMCN, FMCT.. FMN3N, FMN4N... so how it is to be done.
Do I have to assign FM Account assignment for current fiscal year or for all fiscal years in which data exists before FM implementation.
    Please help me.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Jyoti

    Hi Eli,
There are following methods in BADI.. which should be used in current scenario.
    CHECK_DRULE_BEFORE_SAVE
    CHECK_DRULE_ENTRY
    GET_STRATEGY
    SET_ACTIVITY_ CHECK
    STEP_CHECK_ON_ENTER
    STEP_CHECK_ON_EXIT
    SET_DISPLAY_MODE
    SET_STRATEGY_BUTTONS
    STEP_DRULE_ACTIVITY_CHECK
    Derive
Besides this in COBL Parameters, I could only find  the parameter Posting date on which basis I can segregate the documents before and after FM Implementation.
Credit Memo/Reversal of documents where posting date of original document is before FM implementation should be replaced with Dummy Fund Center. Would it be possible with this?? Or is there can be any other criteria.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Jyoti

  • Help reqired in the steps involved in Cut-over Strategy

We are implementing some sub modules of SAP-HR for a customer. The sub modules implemented are Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, and Recruitment. We have completed the UAT phase successfully. We need to complete the u201CGo Liveu201D phase. I am not clear about the cut-over strategy that we should be adapting. The customer has already implemented SAP-FICO and it is already live. As far as I know, the following activities are involved:
    1.     Move all the Customizing  settings to production
    2.     Move all the Workbench settings (none in our project) to production.
    3.     Upload all the master data and the transaction data to the production using LSMW/BDC.
Are there any other activities to be completed? I am aware that some activities like creating Users, Authorization etc. are involved, but not sure about the details. Please guide me.
Also, during SAP-HR configuration, we have created Company Codes, as it is an essential part of enterprise structure, which is set up in SAP-HR. However, Company Codes are actually set up Financial Accounting and since FICO is already live, the configuration for company codes would be already available in production. Now if I move the SAP-HR customizing settings, as it is, to production then it may be wrong, because it may overwrite the company code configuration already available in production. I am a bit confused. Please guide me.
    -Shambhvi

    Dear Shambhvi,
The purpose of cut-over strategy is to communicate all concerned members to aware and maintain the necessary data for upload for different Phase activities. so, ensure to communicate different Cut off date for different transactions.
    1. Are you using existing company code or different company code?
    2. Ensure to move IMG activities in a sequential way
3.. Start uploading all master data in Quality Client and check the correctness
HCM Master data are; Leave Data, Tax Related Data, Department and Position, Execute the Payroll Cycle, Check Gross and Net Payments in Payroll results, Check PF, PT, IT, ESI, LWF, Check Bonus, Gratuity and Superannuation, Execute off cycle Run, Posting to FI, Statutory Forms and Reports
    4. Based on outcome, initiate master data upload in Production client
    Thanks,
    Regards - Muralidhara

  • Moving to Exchange Online from SBS 2003/Exchange 2003 using PST files instead of cut over migration?

I have a friend who runs a small company with approximately 10 users.  They are currently using Small Business Server 2003 and are using Exchange 2003 to a limited degree.  They are using POP accounts with a hosting company for external email and
are using Exchange for internal email and calendar sharing.  They have several different versions of Outlook including 2003, 2007, and 2010. Most of the users have two mail accounts configured in Outlook - one Exchange account and one account with a hosting
company which provides POP mail boxes.  Their MX record currently points to the hosting company not their exchange server.  As far as I know, they do not have any static IP addresses or if they do, they are not using them.
I do not believe Outlook versions about 2010 will work with Exchange 2003 and their server is getting older and probably needs an upgrade.
I think they should probably move to Exchange Online since they do not have an IT person on staff.
I've done some research and it looks like the recommended solution is a cut-over migration from Exchange 2003 but it looks like that would require some changes to the existing SBS 2003 / Exchange 2003 server and I'm not sure that we would be comfortable
    making those changes.
Would it be possible to sign-up and create the user accounts using Exchange Online and just import the data from the user's PST files?
I tried doing some research it looks like it is possible but one post mentioned needing to modify the mailbox’s legencyDN or they may not be able to reply to old messages.  How difficult is that?  Can it be done after the messages have been migrated
    to Exchange Online.
They only have about 10 users so we are looking for the simplest way to move to Exchange Online, not necessarily the fastest or most efficient.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Based on your description, I understand that you want to migrate Exchange 2003 Public Folders to Exchange Online. We can get following messages from this article:
    Public Folders in Exchange Online
You can’t migrate public folders directly from Exchange 2003. If you’re running Exchange 2003 in your organization,
you must move all public folder databases and replicas to Exchange 2007 SP3 RU10 or later. No public folder replicas can remain on Exchange 2003.
It seems that can’t migrate on-premise Exchange 2003 public folders to an Office 365.
    àOn the client
side we are using Exchange 2007
Did you mean Outlook 2007? Please refer to the following thread and check if can help you.
Migrating Exchange 2003 Public Folders to
    Wave 15 Office 365
    Hope this helps.

  • Cut Over list for CIN implementation

    Hi friends,
I am on the completion of the CIN implementaion. I am in need of the the CUT over list which has to be in PRD server before Go-Live. Please help me in this regards
    Thanks & regards

If you have made changes for existing notifications and orders then you have to create test case for work order create, change, display and complete work order cycle testing from creation to completion.
Test settlement process for proper costing settling.Work order and notification integration testing.
New equipment category will require number range to be defined in production system.
Create, change, display and installation on functional locations are important test case of equipments with new categories.

  • PO Cut-over Utility

    Hi Gurus,
We have requirement to get the POs into SRM which were created in R/3 as a part of Cut-over.
Client wants all the POS which were created in R/3 with their goods receipt to be showed into SRM and they can perform PO changes in SRM not in R/3 any more.
Somehow with the standard SAP SRM - R/3 integration through Central Receiving functionality we are able to see Goods Receipts needs to be performed but is there a way we can view /modify POs in SRM which were created in R/3?
    Please advise.
    Thanks
    Ritesh

    Hi Mani,
Thank you for your quick response. We are using Extended Classic scenario. PO has already been created in R/3 and we wanted to finish remaining PO process (i.e. PO Changes, Remaining Receiving Etc) in SRM which then flow into R/3.
Is this possible? Can we call you to discuss this further if possible. We are in Los Angeles.
    My Number is 818-777-5058.

  • Uploading the Cost to Network - Activities in Cut over

    Hi All,
As a part of Cut over activities, Is that possible to upload actual cost to Network - activities in Producion environment?
As a best practice, till now in my projects, I have uploaded the Intial cost to WBS only.
    Regards
    Prabu K

    Hi Abdul,
While using KAFD, we can post legacy or historical actual cost.
The most important this is that, define one WBS element in your project structure and name it as Historical WBS element which will receive all your legacy costs. By doing so, we are posting all our legacy costs to One WBS element only.
Here what you have to do is difine the Historical cost elements which are used only for these migrated projects and not for regular opeative structures.
Input the current period - current period always be in which period project is being migrated.
then input the Year - in our case we have not defined multiple years but as a lumpsum amount in current year (the year project is migrated)  that will stay as historical cost. You will not see any break up of historical costs in SAP but you can see break up of actual coss in legacy system.
Hope this clarifies and let me know if you need any further inputs.
    Regards,
    PSR

  • Quality Management - Cut Over

    All
We are shutting down our 4.7 and moving on to ECC 6.0. Any recommendations on how to handle
    - Open Inspection Lots
    - Stock in Quality
    Regards
    TOM

Identify the materials/batches in QI just prior to cut-over.
Use QA08 to turn off all inspection types or ideally don't set up any inspection types at all until after this process.
Load the QI stock to QI with your normal load programs and use a 523 movement type.  Or load with a 561 and then use 322 to move to QI.
Make sure in config, for each plant, in the QM plant settings, on the "Insp. lot creation" tab you have defined an inspection type for "InspTypeForInspStock".  Most people use either an 08 or 09 for this.  I usually create a variant of the 04 or 08 for this. (04LOAD or 08INIT).  Something that when you look at the QA32 list with inspection types, you know right away this was a lot from the initial load.
Now use QA08 to add and activate your inspection types for all your applicable materials.
Those materials with stock in QI should have an inspection lot created.  It should be the same inspection type you defined in the QM plant config above.
You can now record results and make UD's on these.

  • POC Run after the Project Cut Over migration

    Hello Experts,
Is it mandatory to run POC after Migration of Projects into SAP. We are taking over the legacy projects data to sap on 15th of this month and we want to run POC on the month end say 31st of march.
i want to know wether we have to run POC immediatly after the project migration or not?
    Best Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
It is certainly advisable to execute POC run after Project Cut over migration.  The calculated values should be same as before migration.  This is confirm that the migration is successful.  Executing POC on 31st will include values before migration and after migration and will make it difficult to reconcile the numbers.

  • Funds Management cut over of Open PR and PO

    Hi,
In case of cutover, we are using following link to update FM account assignment in open PR/PO.
SPRO>Funds Management Government>Actual and Commitment Update/Integration>Internal Data Transfer to Funds Management>Supplementary Account Assignment-->Select Documents
    and
SPRO>Funds Management Government>Actual and Commitment Update/Integration>Internal Data Transfer to Funds Management>Supplementary Account Assignment-->Convert Worklist
    1) But in this case, for open PO of which GR is not done FMRP_RW_BUDCON report is not updated after doing above mentioned process. when I make GR, commitment get updated in FMRP_RW_BUDCON report. This does not show actual status of budget consumption as budget consumption is shown at the time of GR only.
    2) If GR is already done for PO and after doing above mentioned process, if GR get reversed then Negetive commitment shows in FMRP_RW_BUDCON report and after deletion of that respected PO, commitment of PO gets zero. But negetive GR commitment remains open which leads to wrong status of budget consumption. e.g. GR of Rs 5000 is reversed. Then report shows two documents as -5000 for GR reversed and 5000 for PO commitment getting open. IF I reversed this PO then PO commitment of 5000 become zero. but GR reversing amount -5000 still remains open. So it shows less consumption of budget by Rs.5000.
Do I am missing any process. Suggest.

    Hi,
Firstly, after you convert the open commitments, you'll need to run FMAVCREINIT to reconstruct AVC. FMRP_RW_BUDCON will then reflect the converted commitments.
Secondly, based on your posting, it seems that you do not want PO commitments (VT 51) to be counted as budget consumption. You can achieve this in the ledger 9H configuration:
Public sector management > Funds management government > BCS > Availability control > Settings for availability control ledger > Define filter settings for commitment/actual values. You will want to exclude both value type 50 and 51 from ledger 9H. After you change the setting, you will need to run FMAVCREINIT again.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Ming

  • GR/IR Balances in Cut-OVer

    Hi Viewers,
I would like to know how to take the GR/IR balances at the cutover in the FICO.
It's needed, since I am in very close to Go-Live date 5th Jan.
    Thanks & Regards
    Aswin

in your data migration, there will be open PO and open invoice.
This GR/IR balance refer to the latter whereby you have performed good receipt but there is no invoice vertfication.
i assumed that you should have a GL account created for manual GR/IR. Post the amount to the account.
so when you received invoice from the vendor, cleared against this account. this account should only used for data migration purpose. once all the open invoice is cleared, blocked the GL account

  • Depreciate the Value of an Asset ignoring Cut Over Value Key

    Hello friends,
I have maintained the Cutover Value Key at 5 % and maintained the same in Depreication Key
What is happening the system is depreciating an asset up to 95%
    This is correct.
But what is required is that,
For few asset which is having Depreciation key i want
to depreciate an asset value up to 100 % without
making any changing in particular Depreication Key.
    Please help.
    Thanks
    Cross-post

    Hi,
You can copy that depreciation key to a new one and can remove the cutover key from the new depreciation key.
Change the asset master you wanted to have the new depreciation key.

  • Wrong Cut Over Data Entry

    Hi All,
Our client had given Liabilities, Revenue closing balances as positive. Hence, we had taken all as debit balances and updated the opening balances. Now client is stating why Liabilities and Revenue is showing debit balance? It should be credit balance.
After going through all the Opening balance journal entry we find
    Liabilities
    Liab a/c Dr.
    Liab OB a/c Cr.
This JE is coming for all the Liabilities opening balances as on Go-Live dates.
    Revenue
    Revenue a/c Dr.
    Rev OB a/c Cr.
This JE is coming for all the Revenues opening balances as on Go-Live date.
Please suggest what has to be done, so that we can update the opening balance as on that date correctly.

    Hi Sowmya,
For Cash balance upload, you can create a business transaction as "Legacy Cash balance upload". This transaction will have one time use and you can block it after balance upload is done.
In this business transaction , you can assign the Initial upload GL, so that your entry would be Cash Dr., To Initial Upload GL A/C
Usually the balances are uploaded on the first day of the new fiscal year, but it depends on your discussion with client what they want to see and when.
If you want to use the doc type UE, then you can upload the balances with UE maintained in configuration and then after the balances are uploaded and before posting any entry in the system for Cash transaction, you can chnage the doc type to the one that you have configured for Cash Journal.
