Plant Main report Information Systems MCI# PMIS- drill down to WN/WO

Hello,
When using the MCI#-PMIS- Analysis Report. The lowest level on the standard drill down is to Month. Is there a way to drill down all the way to WN or WO?
Thanks.

  • Rag: Query performence - Report taking long time when drill down a Char.

    Hi All,
    After executing the report when we try to Drilldown PO Char, then the report used to take long time nearly 60 to 90 minutes and thorough an errors that  "An error is occurred during loading" or "Connection Timed Out".
    The report is created on Multiprovider which is build on 7 infocubes and the data for the PO char is coming from all the 7 cubes.
    So we have created Aggregates on the 5 Infocubes based on system proposal.
    Then,
    We checked in RSRT, the data is coming from all 5 Aggregates and also when we drill down the PO also the data is coming from 5 Aggregates itself.
    But,
    The report is running fine and also when we drilldown the PO to show all the PO values, then the report showing all the POu2019s details by taking nearly 15 mins only.
    Here our concern is why the report is taking 15 mins when we drill a PO char.
    Could any one give suggestions please.
    Thanks in Adv.

  • Reporting by org hierarchy with drill down by each level of reports to...

    Hello,
    I'm trying to determine how to aggregate reporting by org hierarchy. Utlimately to report on opportunities at the highest level (CEO; all opportunities below CEO) then a second drill down report that shows summary by Level 2 (all those who report to the CEO), then again by Level 3 drill down which would be those who report to somone in Level 2. In all instances I want the report to show all records that ultimately roll up to that level (thus include direct reports alll of their direct and indirect reports )
    Level 1
    CEO $10,000,000 200 Optys
    Level 2
    Sales Leader 1 $ 3,000,000
    Sales Leader 2 $ 2,000,000
    Sales Leader 3 $ 1,500,000
    Sales Leader 4 $ 3,500,000
    Level 3
    <ul><li>- rollup of all that report to Sales Leader 1 (and so on) aggregated by first level of direct reports ($3,000,000)
         Sales Mgr 1.1 $ 1,000,000
         Sales Mgr 1.2 $ 500,000
         Sales Mgr 1.3 $ 750,000
         Sales Mgr 1.4 $ 250,000</li>
    </ul>
    I'd appreicate any help you can send my way.
    Thanks, Aaron

    Hi Aaron,
    I have come across this and found that using the "Reports To" hierarchy and "Territory Team" hierarchy are not sufficient. I implemented this as a solution for one of our clients and it works very well:
    I have modified the user entity and renamed 4 standard fields:
    •     Business Unit renamed to "Primary Line of Business"
    •     Business Unit Level 1 renamed to "BU Group"
    •     Business Unit Level 2 renamed to "Business Unit"
    •     Business Unit Level 3renamed to "Team"
    Not all fields go through into analytics so I had to use these fields which are available in the Opportunity-Product History subject area. The downside is that they have to be text boxes so restrict access to who can populate these. From this you can get 4 hierarchy levels and drill from one to the next. The record owner then becomes the lowest level in your report and it can look something like this:
    Level 1
    Primary Line of Business
    Level 2
    BU Group
    BU Group
    Level 3
    Business Unit
    Business Unit
    Business Unit
    Level 4
    Team
    Team
    Team
    Team
    Level 5
    Sales Person 1
    Sales Person 2
    Sales Person 3
    Sales Person 4
    Sales Person 5
    Obviously it would appear side by side in the report..
    Thanks

  • WEBI Report Use of Variable in Drill Down

    Hi,
    i am new to BI Webi report just doing some practice exercise from E fashion Universe. Need your help in creating a WEBI report which should show Sales Revenue broken down to half-year level.
    For example:
    We have Year, when we drill Year 2004, it should not show Quarter infect i want to see 1st Half Year as Q1;Q2 and 2nd Half year as Q3;Q4 for that year.
    For this i have created a Variable "Half Year"
    =If([Quarter]InList("Q1";"Q2");"1st Half Year"; "2nd Half Year")
    Is there anyway i can use this variable so when i drill Year it should Sales Revenue Broken as Half Year
    Thanks

    Hi Kamal,
    1) Create Half Year object in Universe.
    2) You can create custom Hierarchy in Universe like-
    Year
    Half Year
    Quarter
    Then you can drill down to Year>>Half Year>>Quarter

  • How to get the back button if we to go the 2nd drill down report??

    Hi,
    I have a drill down report for the main report. And have detailed drill down as in 1st report>2nd report>3rd report.
    But once i goto drill down, the return button is there which directs to main report i.e. 2>1,
    But once i goto 3rd, i do not get the back button so that i can access reports in 3>2>1, instead its going directly to 1st from 3rd.
    hope i have made the point clear.
    Someone suggest me how do i get the back button??
    Thanks!!

    use the below code in Narrative view

  • Export current view or drill down report

    Post Author: Rainer
    CA Forum: Exporting
    My Enviroment: CR XI, Delphi,  ActiveXReportViewer Hello together,how can I export the current view or a drilled down report with the COM object.I didn't find a way to get the current view object (IReport) I think  there must be a solution, because the default export method can export the current view.Thanks Rainer

    CA Forum: Exporting
    My setup isn't exactly the same but this might help you:  I had this problem with Crystal.Net in Visual Studio 2005.  This link helped me resolve it.  http://diamond.businessobjects.com/node/1956
    My export routine used to just export the ReportDocument object.  But this object does not contain any information on the currently displayed group level.  So when I built a report modeled very closely after the sample 'World Sales Report.rpt' my export routine would only export the main view even if I was drilled down into other group levels of the report.  I learned that the CrystalReportsViewer object is what contains the drill-down level in the ViewInfo.ViewContext object.  So the link above solved this for me.
    As a side note, I also had to manipulate suppressing and unsuppressing sections on export which can't be done via the CrystalReportsViewer object.  So I had to save a copy of the current ViewInfo object to local variable.  Then I modified the ReportDocument object to unsuppress and suppress certain sections.  Then I set this modified ReportDocument object as the RecordSource of the CrystalReportsViewer object and passed as parameters the new NonHTTPCachedReportSource object and the saved ViewInfo object to my new export routine.  This allowed me to preserve the drill-down view properties but apply it to a different ReportSource.  I can supply (c#) code if needed.  ( I don't usually show the ReportHeader or PageFooter sections in my online view of reports but I need to show them when I export a report)...

  • Issue to drill down from a report

    Hi,
    Our requirement is we need to show three different graphs in a single report representing different data, from that we need to drill down to a new different report  ;
    Two approaches we tried with crystal report are;
    1.     We put three graphs and the table in the single report and tried to implement drill down for each graph. We could group data on the basis of first pie chart data and could drill down. But while we tried to group data for second bar chart grouping is happening only as a sub group of first group. Ie, we cannot group data independently for different charts.
    2.     In the second approach we created different  3 sub reports and added in to a main report. But Crystal report is not supporting sub report to a sub report. Ie, we cannot go to drill down report.
    It would be a great help, if you could suggest some solution.
    Thanks,
    Jomy

    Hi,
    As per my understanding, you have one report say Parent1 (SA1) and one Report say Child1 (SA2), now you want to pass some values from parent1 to child1.
    1> Create 1 interim report from parent1.
    2> In your Child report in filter part use result based on another analysis.
    Please let me know if it resolves yourissues.
    Thanks

    Hi Amit,
    I think you are right, I got same type of information from other basis source that drill down report cannot be exported or imported, only way to move by transport.

  • Customise the drill down in xl-reporter

    Hi Dear;
    in xl-reporter, i can enable the drill down option in the report.
    1- how can i customize the columns that i want to show?
    2- how many drill down level can i setup?
    best regards;

    Currently you can't customize the Drill Down in XLR as it is based upon the syntax of the report.   You can use another product called Drill Anywhere to do this function and it will drilldown and give the use an Excel spreadsheet of the Drill information.   It also allows drilling on the report when not connected to XLR.

  • Drill Down Problem in Report

    Hi,
    I am using the product hierarchy in the report and its used for drilling down. when i say drilldown the report is not working and TIME OUT warning is coming.
    I have run the same report in quality system which contains more or less the same data. it works fine. all the packages are same in both the systems ?
    any one have an idea of why its behaving like that?
    Best Regards
    Bhav

    Bhavani,
    Welcome to SDN ...
    what is the timeout set in the servers .... Check in your Quality systems for the profile settings in RZ10 for the timeout setting and have the same in the other server as well..
    otherwise leave it blank if you do not want any time out.

  • Drill Down Report issues in VS 2010, CR viewer 12

    We are using VS 2010, Crystal Reports 12 with Crystal Viewer 12 control called from a C# programmed page frame.  Several Drill Down reports are developed with CR 12 service pack 1 and then deployed onto the server.
    These Drill Down reports work great within the viewer.  But Two critical issues have been discovered,
    1.     With the drop down report, the next /last page buttons work on the main page, but it doesnu2019t work on any of the drill drop sections.
    2.     The print / export functions work on the main page.  Using the print / export functions from the Drilled down pages reverts back to the main page, not the drill down page that is being viewed.
    Has anyone else seen these issues and know of a fix.  Wondering if it might be something in the viewer settings within the .net or the version of viewer ?
    I have viewed the CR .Net API Reference but probably due to lack of .net knowledge, seems overwhelming  to me.
    Thanks

    Hello,
    Hope you can use this code to export report in pdf with the drill down options/nodes.
    CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument rd = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument();
       /// Calling a sample report named Employee Sales.rpt with parameter
       rd.Load(Application.StartupPath + \\..\\..\\Employee Sales.rpt);
       rd.SetParameterValue("Login Name","Robert King");
       ISCDReportClientDocument rcd = rd.ReportClientDocument;
       ISCRPDFExportFormatOptions exportFormat = new PDFExportFormatOptionsClass();
       exportFormat.CreateBookmarksFromGroupTree = true;
       //Create an array of bytes of the report.
       PrintOutputController rasPrintOutputController;
       rasPrintOutputController = rcd.PrintOutputController;
       // Define the export format as PDF, and apply the PDF export options
       CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.ExportOptions expOpts = new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.ExportOptionsClass();
       expOpts.ExportFormatType = CrReportExportFormatEnum.crReportExportFormatPDF;
       expOpts.FormatOptions = exportFormat;
       // Use the PrintOutputController class to export the report based on the defined export options.
       ByteArray tempByteArray = rcd.PrintOutputController.ExportEx(expOpts);
       Byte[] byteStreamOutput = tempByteArray.ByteArray;
       // Create a new file(MyExportedReport) with the specified path, name, and file extension.
       FileStream fs = new FileStream("C:\\Windows\\Temp\\MyExportedReport.pdf", FileMode.Create, FileAccess.ReadWrite);
       // Stream the bytes from the exported report to the newly created file and close the file stream.
       int maxSize = byteStreamOutput.Length;
       fs.Write(byteStreamOutput, 0, maxSize);
       fs.Close();
       MessageBox.Show("Export is done in C:\\Windows\\Temp location");
    Thanks.

  • Slow performance refreshing report with multiple subreports in main report

    I am using multiple subreports in my main report that appear to be slowing down the performance of the report considerably. Is there something I can do to increase performance with subreports.

    Hi Brian,
    Subreports are a known performance hog.
    I would suggest going back to the drawing board and rethinking on the layout of the report. The best thing, of course, would be to completely get rid of the subreports by creating a single SQL statement that takes care of all the report's requirements.
    Sometimes it is imperative to have subreports, in which case, you should try to make sure any selection filters from both the Main Report and the Subreport are passed back to the database.
    Also, avoid using Page N of M for better performance - with or without Subreports.

  • CO-PA Report: Incorrect Drill-Down to Line Item Report result (KE32 / KE34)

    Hi There
    We have created a CO-PA report and assigned the ability to call up the CO-PA Line Item report (KE24).
    When we drill-down from a cell within the report for an actual amount for a specific period, the line item report displays the line-items from the prior period?
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • Drill Down Report gives an error for General Ledger.

    Hi,
    I'm using the transaction GCAC to compare general ledger with profit centre accounting.While drilling down the report for PCA, the report works fine and gets drilled down to the invoice in SAP.But I get an error when I try to drill down the report for general ledger.It gives an error GI358 i.e. No line items were selected.The diagnosis of the error message shows that pool tables have to converted to transparent tables.
    I want to know whether the error occurs beacuse of pool tables issue and if yes then how can we remove the error.

  • Report drill-down

    Hi
    I am having an unsual case. We are executing a standard reports profit centre report that we used to drill-down before. Today, it is acting differnet. For e.g there is a balance appearing for a GL account where the total as at end of the period is zero. If the alance on the report is double-clicked to view the line items it gives a list of documents that equals to zero. I cannot understand why the the report is showing a balance.
    Thanks & Rgds

    Some things you might to check:
    Actuals/ Plan values?
    Same version?
    Has somebody changed report recently?
    Have you run line item transactions individually and compared?
