Plant not being selected

Hi,
I am trying to make PO with a plant (for which i created new vendor), that plant is maintained in ox18, ox01, ox17...all configurations are proper. But that plant is not being accepted nor i can find it in the dropdown list, rest for all other plants there is no problem. i have checked all the settings....dont if i have missed on something...in too1w, its there..

Also Go to ME21N And Input Material, Qty, Price, Vendor and in Plant field Press F4 and in Selection List (Check Icon No 06 Display All Values is there) If its There then Click on Display all Values and Try.

Invoice Due Date is past due but not being selected for payment

We have 12.1.3.
An invoice has a due date of 7/19 in our system. We have run payments several times but it is not being selected. terms are net 30, terms date was 6/19, GL date is 6/28.
The invoice has been validated and accounted. Is there something i should be looking for to see why this won't get picked up?
Any help is appreciated.

For this invoice to be picked up immediately in a Payment Process Profile you can change the payment terms to immediate.
Further, while running PPR u can select pay through date as 7/19 and select this invoice from the batch to pay.
There are multiple factors like PPR used, if discount is applied that might effect this.

Next photo not being selected

When using Auto Advance in the Grid or Loupe, when finished and press Enter the next photo is not being selected. I have to select the photo by clicking on it. Any suggestion as to why?

I'm using Smart Collections in my workflow. The photod are in a Smart
Collection titled Title Missing. It checks each phot to see if there is a
title. If not it selects (highlights) the photo and waits for me to place a
title in the title box. When finished I press the "enter" key, then the
next photo is brought up (displayed) .

After I complete one step, then I move onto the next. I depend on the Auto
Advance to move the photos along and to select the next photo. The "Pick
Flag is Reject is to allow me to reject a photo during the process and
not just at the beginning of the workflow.
I'm sorry for the confusion and the long reply. I figured that the problely
was something I missed. Please take a look at the workflowand if you see a
better way to improve, please let me know and if you have any ideas on why
the next photo is not being highlighted.

New Seagate 1TB external hard drive is not being selected by MacBook Pro

My new Seagate 1TB external HD is not being identified by the MacBook Pro (10.7.5 Mac OSX). Whereas the same being recognized by a WIN8 OS based PC. I need a format wherby the external HD should be recognised by both Mac OS and Win.
Kindly help.
Pls note my system is being run on safe mode, as there is a problem in the left shif key. Hence, while booting, it is automatically being shifted to the safe mode. I need to format the external HD, so that I can transfer to store my data.

If you want the drive to be able to both read and write on OS X and a Windows machine, you should format the drive as exFAT on the Windows machine. As to why the drive is not recognized when you boot into Safe Mode, that may be because the drive is formatted for another OS and it MAY BE that it's disabled when you run in Safe Mode (which disables a long list of things: see -> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564?viewlocale=en_US).
If you format it as exFAT on the Windows machine, you MAY BE able to have it mount on your Mac. No guarantees, though.

Vc - routing not being selected in production order

Hi PP Gurus,
We are working on variant.
Steps followed -
1. KAMAT material created.
2. Variant created for KMAT material.
3. Maintained configurable profile.
4. Super BOM made in CS01 for KMAT.
5. Dependency maninted in BOM.
6. Maintained relationship between Kmat and variant in CS40.
7. Super routing created for KMAT.
8. Dependency maninted in Routing.
9. sales order created for variant.
10. MRP run taken
11. Planned orders created during MRP run.
12 BOM exploed as per dependency defined in BOM.
Problem - When we are converting planned order into production order system is giving error message saying that rounting does not exists.
Please guide me if any thing is missing in above mentioned process.

1. Routing is created in CA01
2. OPL8 parameters for routing is
      Applicaion = P , ALt task list Application = Blank
      Selection ID = 01 , Routing selection = 3
      Sequence exchange = 0 ,
      Task list type = N
3. Error Message during conversion is
   Popup opened saying No routing found mentioning material code, plant, qty and explosion date
   3 tabs are also there 1. ref operation selection 2. Change selection 3. exit.

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Browsing History" if Firefox is closed.

Plant Not permitted for selected Doc Type

I have created new plant and assigned to existing Purchase organization. i am able to create PR but while creating Purchase order i am getting error

what is the error message number? double click the message to obtain.
I have not seen any assignment of doucment types to plants, nor a message like mentioned.

Preferred vendor not being copied from the selection list of F4 --- Shop

Hi SRM Gurus,
When we are creating a shopping cart with the sources of supply, preferred list of vendors is displayed when we click the icon next to the preferred vendor in the browser. Source of supply, F4 in GUI also gives a list of vendors but if we select the vendor name, it is not being copied.
Else, if we type the business partner number in the tab, it gets selected.
Can anyone faced the similar type of problem?
Kindly suggest.

Thanks for your reply.
I checked though. My problem is little different as I can see the list of vendors and also if I type the BP id of the particular vendor in the preferred vendor tab it works. Only I cannot doubleclick the vendors name and select it to the preferredvendor tab.
Also once selected I dont have any issues in creating the PO and the complete cycle.
Any other suggestions.

Overhead user exit (COOM0001) not being triggered for specific plant

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone came across this situation before. I activated user exit COOM0001 for overhead calculation. This user exit is triggered when I create PCE for plant A but not plant B.
I can't figure out why it is not being triggered for plant B at all. I put a break point in function module EXIT_SAPLKASC_001, EXIT_SAPLKASC_002 and EXIT_SAPLKASC_003 and the system didn't stop in anyone of these function module.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

It seems that you are a Functional Consultant.
Please follow the following simple step for any userexit to see where all its been called.
1. Go To T. Code SMOD
2. Enter the Exit name COOM0001
3. Click on the COMPONANTS RADIO BUTTON and DISPLAY
4. U get Function Modules
EXIT_SAPLKASC_001
EXIT_SAPLKASC_002
EXIT_SAPLKASC_003
5. Now individually double click on each FM and put a break point ther.
6. Open a new session and see wheather it stop at the break-points of the T. code you are looking for.
I havent used this user exit, so no comments on how it ll be use ful.

Plant 0001 is the SAP default provide for your reference.
OX14 - Define Valuation Area (Tick one only- Once your system go live, no more changes)
             Most company take the SAP recommended choice - Value Material Stock at Plant level
             Value Material Stock at Plant or Company Level
If you valuate material stocks at plant level, the plant is the valuation area.
If you valuate material stocks at company code level, the company code is the valuation area.
The decision you make applies to the whole client.

My history is not being saved. Yes, in preferences, I have selected save history [90 days]. I believe this happened with the recent new update?

Running firefox 3.6.11 on a Mac OS X, 10.5.8. My history is not being saved [or displayed]. Within preferences [privacy] I have selected to remember history for 90 days. No, private browsing is Not selected. When choosing "show all history" under toolbar, my history is empty. Does anyone know what's happening? This just began happening within the last week or so--which does coincide with a recent [automatic] firefox update.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

This could be a read/write permissions issue with the destination folder for the catalog. Use your favorite search engine to search for changing disk permissions. What operating system are you using?

[SOLVED] Primary selection not being copied to clipboard

So what's up with that?
I can paste the primary selection via shift+insert fine in xterm or urxvt, but not in Firefox. In Firefox shift+insert instead pastes the current clipboard.
I hear this should work without a clipboard manager, but it isn't.
How do I fix this?
Edit: if relevant: using Fluxbox as WM.

Hm, it seems the MMB emulation has such a short time for registering that it behaved inconsistently before my coordination improved... It seems emulated MMB works in every app I have afterall, but that's irrelevant:
In Firefox, SciTE, Skype, Thunderbird shift+insert always pastes clipboard (and not primapy selection), ctrl+v pastes the clipboard.
In urxvt, xterm both shift+insert and MMB behave the same: pasting primary selection and not clipboard.
Select+deleted text remains as primary selection.
EDIT: It might be relevant that I can't find an autocutsel process in htop. Yet I have the relevant lines in .xinitrc that should start it? The process does appear and disappear from htop when launching and stopping it manually. For completeness here's my entire .xinitrc:

Selective Sharpening Not Being Exported in Aperture 3

When I use a Quick Brush to apply a sharpening adjustment, the adjustment is not being exported. All of the other adjustments are being exported, but not the brushed in sharpening adjustment. All exports are affected (Flickr, Mail, PS, file export)
I ran into a few other folks that have experienced this same issue. One person reported that it does look like the adjustment is being exported, it's just very muted. Link with more details here: http://tim.littlebluefrog.com/?p=842
The issue does not appear to affect edge sharpen, but I don't like the edge sharpen effect as much as the normal sharpen.
I just installed 3.0.2 hoping it would fix the issue, but unfortunately it did not.
Any ideas?

Dropdown value list selected value not being displayed

HCM process and form - Using HR Admin control library in Adobe form to create a new drop down list as per OSS Note Note 973170 - New library for "SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe" - HR Admin Drop Down box list.
User is able to choose values from dropdown list. But, when form is sent for approval, approving user is not seeing selected value.

Follow the below steps,
1. Place the dropdown list box in the form
2.bind the attributes to the dropdown.
3.In Object tab Property Click List Item, One Pop up Window is displayed,
   In the popup window,
                       i. Bind the dropdown list attributes to the items.
                       ii. $ symbol assigned to the Item text
                       iii.$ symbol assigned to the item value.
