Plant Section mandatory for M1 type notification

Hello Gurus,
I want to make Plant Section as mandatory for M1 type notification. I check in field selction but plant section is not availablr there.
Please guide.

Follw this:
IMG>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing-->Maintenance and Service Orders
>Define Field Selection for Order Header Data (PM)>Field Selection for Location/Account Assignment Data (Double click on this)
Here use push button 'Influencing'
Select Notification type (double click on it)
Put value M1 and press Enter
and in the below list you will find your field 'Plant section'.
Mark it as Required.

PM and CS->Maintenance and service processing->maintenance and service notification->Notification Creation->Notification types->set field selection for notifications
You have to use notificaton type as influencing field.
Transaction code for notification is OIAL and please ensure the notification has the location tab added.
Use function module SAPMILA0 (PM: Subscreen 'Location and Account') for influencing field.

Storage Location field mandatory for Movement Type 103

Hi , We are using movement type 103 and 105 to receive material.
Here we want to make storage location mandatory for movement type 103.
How can we do that.

I do agree with yr statements ....
103 doesn't update inventory at storage location level therefore it doesn't make sense to have storage location at the time of 103.
But at our end , we are using 103 for MIGO data entry by store user and 105 for MIGO approval .Store users are the right person who are enter correct storage location to which material should go.Therefore looking for a way thru which store user can enter storage lcoation at the time of 103 only.
Since approvers or purchaser are not very sure about the correct storage lcoation to which material should move therefore storage location at PO level or 105 level will not help me.
Any work around ??

Customize Header Test as Mandatory for Movement Type 350

Dear colleagues,
If inspection lot is rejected, i.e. stock is posted to blocked stock in transaction QA11, document header text must be mandatory.
I have tried setting “Field Selection for MIGO” and “Goods Issue / Transfer Postings >Define Screen Layout” for movement type 350 but those didn’t work out
Is there a solution without custom development?

Doubtful. There is a user exit to check the UD. You might be able to use that to see if the text you want is populated. If not give the user a pop-up error box and don't allow the UD to be saved until the text is populated.
A rejected characteristic can require text. This is in the control indicators. Maybe you can leverage that somehow.

For AA dist. channel I can Creat a order without refernce to Quotationa and
For AB and AC same order i can create with reference to Quotation only.

Priority field mandatory for planning plant-order type

Hi
Is there a standard way through configuration that I may contol priority field in order header to be mandatory for some order types only in one planning plant?
Problem is that if I make the priority field mandatory for order type, it will be so for all the planning plants which i dont want. Also i dont want it to mandatory at planning plant level since there are many order types under one planning plant and requirement is to make priority field mandatory only for some order types under this plant.

In the transaction we can separately make it mandatory for either planning plant or order type.
My requirement is for combination of both.

WM- Wrongly triggered storage section in 902 storage type

   I maintained the storage section( B11) in 902/ WE-ZONE . When i generated the GRN against purchase order ,
   during transfer syatem storage type 902 is triggering the storage section 001.. i dont want system trigger the storage
   section 001 for storage type 902..the system should generate the 902 for storage section(B11)

This is a std system behaviour, since the configuration is done like this in SPRO.Please check for the settings against storage type 902.
spro->Logistics execution->WM->Master data-->Define storage type -
>Define stsorage section
The system picks the section from here

Authorisation object for inspection type

Dear QM consultants,
We are developing one Z program where plant, inspection lot origin and inspection type are main input fields. We want to add authorisation object based on these inputs. I checked for M_BEST_WRK for plant and Q_INSPTYPE for inspection type. Object for plant is working fine but we are unable to restrict based on inspection type since Q_INSPTYPE does not have any activity field associated with it.
Has anybody come across such issue? Whether objects taken by me are correct, if not can anybody guide me what are the authorisation objects to be taken.

I want to make one MARA-XCHPF field mandatory for a specific plant and specfic material type,If I Give Plant specfic Field referance and check the fiield as mandatory in OMSR for the field referance I have created If I mark it mandatory it become mandatory for all the material type,I want to make mandatory for some materials type only that too plant specfic

Making storage location mandatory for one plant.

       I want to make storage location field mandatory in ME21N for only one plant .Like in our organisation structure two comp codes 1000 and 3000 are there .Under each comp code one plant like under 1000 1000plant is there and under 3000 3000 plant is there .I want to make storage location field mandatory for only 3000 plant during creation of PO.Is it possible ?

Suggestions:
        1) As per your last comment, new document type is used for doing PO for that particular plant. Check the Field Selection Group in the respective document type. (SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing --> PO --> Define Document Type)
        2) Then SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing --> PO --> Define Screen Layout at document level, Select the Field selection group. Then goto to Supplying plant and make the Issuing storage location as a "Mandatory field".
Note: But you can use this document type for this particular plant only. For the other plants, use the general document type.
          Please revert if you need any clarification.

Plant Not permitted for selected Doc Type

I have created new plant and assigned to existing Purchase organization. i am able to create PR but while creating Purchase order i am getting error

what is the error message number? double click the message to obtain.
I have not seen any assignment of doucment types to plants, nor a message like mentioned.

Destination plant, description, material are editable for movement type 313

Hello
We are using movement type 313 for the transfer posting between storage location. We use MIGO for the same.
Ideally for the movement type 313, the destination plant and material should not be visible. We enter the material, batch,plant and storage locaiton in "From" side and enter only the storage location in "To" side of the MIGO screen. But now suddently after the EHP4 upgrade, we could able to enter the plant and materil in the "To" side also.
I checked the Field selections in OMJJ for movement type 313 and found that plant and material fields are suppressed.
Do you have any clue on why suddenly i am facing this problem and what could be possible solution.

Sounds like you're just dumping your spec here. What have you tried exactly to solve this yourself?
