Plant stock to be consider in MRP MD51

Hi all,
My client want while running MRP for project MD51 that time plant stock and other project stock should be consider. MRP should not generated requirement for material available in Plant stock and other project stock i.e. special stock category Q.
With Regards,
Ashish

Dear ,
In SAP Stanrdar while running MRP on projects -MD51  , it does not  consider unrestricted use  stock .
If you want to consider planr stock or speciall stock except project stock , you  have to transfer the stock to the WBS ( MB1B-412Q) so that it will consider it as a project stock during MRP and will not genrate any requirement.
You can try with Cross Project Indicator as 1-All the segments on stock in various wbs  and keep availablity check key accrodingly  (01) in MRP3 view .
Regards

  • Project material requirements to consider plant stock first

In some ERP systems, we have project specific BOMs and when the requirements are exploded and netted, the system first tries to see if the demand can be met from plant stock. If full or partial demand can be met from the plant stock, the system recommends a stock transfer order from general (plant) inventory to the project.
Any unmet requirement generates a project specific 'mrp-planned' order (purchase or production recommendation). This way, the planners and financial can see what existing plant stock can be used for a project and they can use this info for financial planning. Once the planner determines that the existing plant stock is usable for the project, he/she can confirm and 'execute' the transfer order which prings the plant stock to the project stock. For engineering or technical reasons (single lot date code requirements) the planner can choose not to accept the stock transfer recommendation (either fully or partially) and manually create purchase recommendation to cover the quantity.
I have read some posts here but it is not clear that IN SAP PS if the collective indicator is set (or not set), would one be able to see, either directly or indirectly, what plant stock is recommended to be transferred as project stock?
Can the behavior of described ERP system be modeled?
    Thanks, experts.

    Hi,

    Procurement Type : F
    View : MRP 3

  • How to consider unrestricted stock for the run of MRP project?

    Hi every one!
We are facing a problem using MRP on project stock.
We would like that the MRP takes unrestricted stock into consideration while calculating quantities to order for project stock.
For example, a project request 100 pieces of material X.
We have already 25 pieces of material X in unrestricted stock and 0 in project stock.
When I run MRP (MD51), it creates a Purchase Requisition of 100 pieces on the WBS element I have defined and not 75 as expected!!!
By searching in documents and forums, I have read I have to set the value "2 - Collective requirements only" into the field MRP4 > BOM explosion/dependent requirements > Individual/coll. of the Material Master.
I have done it but it doesn't change anything.
Thanks in advance for your support!!!
    Bogdan

    Hello guys!
As told, here I come with news about my problem.
Finally, the Strategy Group didn't solve our problem.
We didn't solve our problem as planned but we have found another way to work.
Instead of including the unrestricted stock in the MRP project, we use transaction CO46 to have an overview of the unrestricted stock of all the components of the project's BOM.
Based on that overview, the user can make stock transfers of the available quantities from the unrestricted stock to the project stock.
I hope it can help people having the same problem!

  • Qulaity stock included in the Plant stock -MD04

    Dear All ,
I am having  following stock for the Material A ,
    Unrestricted Stock  =  0
    Quality Stock           =  10
When i check in the T-code :MD04 , System shows the Plant Stock as 10 , and this stock is included in MRP also ..
I have checked the Checking Rule assignment in the configuration  plant parameters under MRP .
How the Quality stock is included in the plant stock and the same considered for MRP .
Is this logic is correct one ...
I am expecting some replies from you all

    hi,
What you notice is standard SAP behavior. QC stock is considered in plant stock & same is available during MRP run. However for Av. Check you can exclude QC stock in the checking rule.
If your business need is not to include QC stock in MRP run, then create a SLoc which is not MRP relevant & maintain the stock in this location. In MRP - 4 view you need to maintain the value 1 for Sloc MRP indicator. You can get this value defaulted for all newly created materials in OMIR. For mass changes of existing materials you can use MM17.

  • Production order and planned order qty should not consider in MRP

    Dear All,
i do not want to consider the previous month production order qty and plenned order qty (Nothing but WIP qty) in the current momth MRP, but the stock has to consider in MRP.
    Example,
    Before MRP,
    material : XYZ
    Stock : 1000
    Prod Qty : 500 for 02.04.2008
    PIR Qty : 2000 for 02.05.2008
After MRP, the requirement should be as below said,
    material : XYZ
    Stock : 1000
    Prod Qty : 500 for 02.04.2008
    PIR Qty : 2000 for 02.05.2008
    Pld OrdQty : 1000 for 02.05.2008
For the above requirement ,i have done settings in the availabilty check like , for include planned order and include production order are "DO NOT TAKE IN ACCOUNT".
Even then also the planned order qty is generating for the "500" only.
please give the solution for the above said requirement.
    thanx in advance
    Regards
    Srinivas

    hi
MRP will always consider the prod order qty while doing nert req calculation. One thing u can do is TECo the prod orders and un MRP then it wont consider prod order qty.
The Availability check will check whether the components r avalaible or not based on ur scope of check
    Reward points if useful

  • MRP User Exit/BAdI for changing plant stock

    Hi,
I have a client who is wanting to add consignment stock to plant stock during the MRP run for materials with a certain material group.
I need to find an exit or a BAdI which is called at an appropriate time to have a developer code this function.
Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to make changes to SAP Standard code!
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi,
If am right, you want to consider the customer consignment stock in MRP, if yes then I believe the BADi -> MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA should meet your need.
I have not used this BADi, but check with your abaper if the method CHANGE_MDPSX_MARD reads the stock & then the unrestricted stock can be added with customer consignment stock from MSKU.
Check & revert if the above meets your need.
    Regards,
    Vivek

  • Stock in bonded warehouse to consider in MRP

We are bonding some of imported consignment in custom bonded warehouse. It is being ex-bonded whenever it is required in factory unit for consumption.
When we run MRP , system recognises only stock maintained in factory. We want stock maintained in bonded warehouse to consider in MRP run. This will give us proper clarity & will throw requireemnt only when it is required after considering stock at factory as well as stock in warehouse
Can we have resolution for the same
    regards
    AnandG

You can achieve this with creating "scope of planning" in OM0E or special procurement keys

  • Plant stocks in MRP run

    Hi All,
I have a material maintained in 3 plants say A, B, C. The stock is also maintained in all 3 plants. The production happens only in plant C. MRP is run in plant C.
But while MRP run, I want that system should consider the stock in all plants - A, B, C.
    Regards,
    Manish

    Hi
It can be achieved only by APO.
In R/3, we can run MRP at Plant Level (Maximum). When you run MRP at Plant C, System will consider the stock at C Only.
From Plant C to Plant A requirements should flow (It can be done by using special Procurement Key)
From Plant A to Plant B Requirements can flow by using special procurement Key
Here we should understand that from Plant C requrements can flow to Plant A only directly.
Generally we will requirements that system should consider the stock in all plants as well as requirements should go to 1 or more plants automatically.
We can do this by using Quota arrangement. But it doest not solve the issue.

    Nag

  • How to control "Procurement parameter" for plant stock.

    Hi everyone
    I have changed Subject and question as below;
Our customer wants to create P.R manually before MRP running for some of reason.
After create Project/WBS/Network/Activity and assign component to Activity,  when assign
component to activity, set "Procurement parameter""Requisition + reservation for WBS elemen",
then P.R is automatically created. For project stock it seems OK. However when I try to do
same thing for plant stock, I can choose only "Reservation for network". How to control this part?
Experts, please give me your advice.
    Regards,
    Satoru

    Hi,
Create a Procurement Key in OPS8 and under Priorities give Priority 1 to Plant stock and 2 to Project Stock.
So attach a material to Activity in CJ20N a reservation will be created without AcctAssgcat Q ,Special Stock Q.
Here in this case you can directly issue goods to project also if unrestricted stock is availabe ,here the system will consider only 281 Now.
After you run MRP ,system will create PRs on the basis of Requirement and availabity but without the reference of WBSE because you are creating PR for Plant stock.
    Hope it is clear.

  • Materials for Single wbs Element from project/Plant stock

    Hi to all,
I would like to have the following scenarios for the single Project.
    1) Some  Activities  in the single WBS Element will be using the Materials for specific to the Project. So MRP will be generated for the Project and PR,PO,Goods receipt will be done.
    2) In the same WBS Element of some activity, wants to consume materials from the Plant stock. For  this we donu2019t want to run MRP. From the reservation no, we want to take the materials for project use.
I have a single Network profile and I donu2019t want to create anymore.
Understand from movement type 411, we can take the materials from unrestricted Plant stock to project.  Is there any other way/any config I need to check in account assignment category to fulfill the requirement to consume from Plant stock and also to use Project stock in a single profile.
    Regards
    N.Raju

    Hi,
that is the only option, Std. SAP does not support for unrestricted plant stock ( for Project MRP or availability check).
    same option-
    1) transfer free stock( plant stock)  to respective WBSE
    2) Run MRP
    3) Consume material.

  • Plant to Plant stock replenishment within the company code

    Dear Experts,
Could some one help me about the cofig settings for the follwoing scenario
We have a central plant where stock replenishment will takes place for all other plants withing the same company code.
Now there is an another requirement from business where two step replenishment is required like
Plant A is the central plant from where stock supplied to Plant B through STO. New plants are created (eg. c, d, e) for those plants suppling plant should be B. All these plants will be under the same company code.
Could some one help me the config settings for this process.
    Thanks in advance
    Kind regards,
    Krish

Assign plants c, d, e to same company code.
If you want to create a Stock Transfer Order,
maintain A as supplying plant. (create vendor master linked to purchase org and company code)
maintain c, d, e as receiving plants. (create customer masters linked to company code)
Ignore Plant B (if no changes to stock is happening there).
Do a 2 step stock transfer, when stock is in transit, after 1st step, you can assume stock is moving thru Plant B.
Settings For Stock Transport Order Without Delivery:
    Order type UB
    Item category U
    GI: 351
    GR: 101
    Delivery type: Blank
Settings For Stock Transport Order with Delivery:
    Order type UB
    Item category U
    GI: 641
    GR: 101
    Delivery Type: NL
If STO not needed, use 303 GI from Plant A and 305 GR in Plant C, D, or E thru MIGO.
If Plant B should be considered in stock transfer,
Just do a one or two step transfer from A to B, then from B to C, D or E.

  • Different stock between Acount view and Plant stock in MM03

    Hello Experts,
In MM03 Acount view,  I found the Total stock is 1, but in plant stock view, I found the stock is Zero.
There is not really any physcial invnetory so it must be a problem on the report.
And on mm03 that it was only on the finacial view screen that stock showed, it does not show on the normal stock screens.
What cause this difference? and How to clear the stock from the financial view?
    Thanks

    Hi
Please run MB5K for the problem material. If it shows difference, then there might be inconsistency between accounting stock and plant(storage location) stock. If that is the case, physical inventory can't help. The correction(direct table update) is necessary and can only be done by SAP.
    Hope the information helps.
    Regards,
    Polly

  • T code for Material, plant, stock and price data in std sap

    Dear All,
In Std SAP is der any t-code to get Material, plant, stock and price data in 1 go..
    waiting for ur early reply
    Regards
    Nainesh

    Hi,
Try T.Code: MC.9 and MC.5 etc. These reports will give you total value of the stock but not unit price.
If you are looking at unit price please write a small query using SQVI or append the relevant info structure.

  • For STO with billing how to take material in plant stock without cancelling excise duty

    Hi,
Please suggest for STO with billing how to take material back in plant stock without cancelling excise duty.
    Scenario is
Material transffered from manufacturing plant to depot, material is in transit now, but due to some reason material calls back to manufacturing plant.
Since the excise invoice is raised and material move out of factory client can not cancel excise invoice from legal point of view & client has to pay excise duty for the material movement.
Please suggest how to take back goods to manufacturing plant without cancelling excise invoice.
We have suggested client as there is no provision to take back goods to manufacturing plant without cancelling excise invoice
and to take back material to manufacturing plant stock they have to cancel excise invoice and other related documents.
But client is asking for another options. So requesting you to please suggest any alternative ways for same.
    Thanks,
    Amit

client can not cancel excise invoice from legal point of view & client has to pay excise duty for the material movement
I don't think, there is a statutory rule which says, manufacturer should not cancel the excise invoice generated on their Depot plant.  Justification can very well be given to Excise authorities and hence, ask your client to follow the normal process by treating this as Depot returns.

  • Plant to Plant Stock Transfer

    Hi,
I want to do stock Transfer from one Plant to another Plant in the same company.
Pls. tell me about the process & the configuation needs to be done.
    Regards,

    Hi Aditi,
    Please follow the step-wise procedure:
    Hope that helps!
    Thanks,
    Kaveri
1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group :0007 using T-Code XK01.
    2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
    Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
    3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
    4. In Pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
    5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
    6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    10. After all settings , Create the STO using T-Code:ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
    11. Create Delivery :VL10G
Click on the Background Button after selecting line item
A message is flashed : See log for information> next Click on Log for delivery creation Button >click on line item>click on document button to get Delivery document No
    12. Picking, PGI:VL02N
    13. Billing:VF01
Save the document and its done
    14. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery
    Pricing configuration for STO: -
In SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Schema Determination > Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders > Here assign Calculation Schema "RM2000" i.e. Stock Transfer Document to Schema Grp Pur. Org, STO Type (For e.g. UB) and Supplying Plant.
Calculation Schema "RM2000" has condition type P101 which will pick up the MAP of supplying plant automatically during creation of STO in ME21N ("Conditions" Tab).
You can create new freight / delivery cost conditions in M/06 and assign in pricing procedure "RM2000" in M/08 and also assign the Accrual Key to this and do the Account Determination for this Accrual Key in OBYC
    At the time of PGI, following accounting entry will get generated;
    Stock A/c - Dr - 110 INR (Receiving Plant)
    Stock A/c - Cr - 100 INR (Supplying Plant)
Freight Clearing A/c - Cr - 10 INR (Supplying Plant)
