Plants in SRM

Hi Gurus,
Plants is replicated through GET_Location..but where I can see those plants in SRM.Is it under the Org str?
Is there any seperate T code..
Is there anyway we can get the storage location in SRM. What could be the function of Storage location in any of the scenarios.

Plants are available in BBP_LOCMAP table. Here you can see the BP no for the corresponding plants. This BP you must define in extended attributes via LOCATION ex.atribute or you can see slg1 log here you get BP no for orrexponding plants.All plants are BPs so you can see the details of them via BP tcode.
Regarding Storage location, you must mapped in ext attribute. It would not create a BP in SRM.

Payment Terms fetch Issue(Plant Level) @ SRM 7.0

Hello Experts,
We are currently implementing SRM 7.0 system(Classical Scenario) across regions.In one such scenario we found out that when we create a PO directly in SRM the Payment Terms is fetched correctly from the Vendor Master at Plant Level(Bypassing the Purch Org Level data, since Standard SAP looks for plant specific data & the same has been implemented in SRM by enahancing the BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI (Implementation ZBBP_DOC_CHANGE_PO ,Method :- BBP_PO_CHANGE using a Custom FM with SQL Query on LFM2)
However when a PO is ordered via the Shopping Cart method,the payment term is fetched at Purch org level,even though we have an Alternative Data(at Plant level) in R/3.
The Header & Item Level Data are the same.for both the PO's. Can someone please give some pointers on fixing this issue.As we know from SAP,fetching Plant related Payment Term into SRM is not a SAP Standard Feature & thus a custom logic was implemented.Payment Term Table(BBP_PAYTERM) is updated with the latest data with all Payment Term translations maintained in R/3.

Mandatory data to be maintained in ECC before replacting plant to SRM

Hello Experts,
What is the minimum data to be maintained on ECC side for a plant before it can be replicated to SRM.
We are on SRM 7.0 and facing issues with some particular plant.

I think you will be following std method of Define & copy procedure to create plant in ECC which may be more than sufficient.
Please provide the error details so that it will be easy to interfere.

How to set up a new plant in SRM and user that?

I have run the reoprt BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED I am getting a message
Program end reached the apprlication Log.BBP_GET_LOCATIONS generated.(SLG1)
When I go to BP and find my BP for the plant is generated.
but when I go to the attributes tab for selection of my newly set up plant in F4 it does not list my plant in that. So I cannot assign the Logical system to that Plant.
Please do suggest me? how to resolve this issue.

Yes Disha loads more questions,
is it simply a GET_LOCATIONS_ that I need to run once all the new plants have been created in R3 or do i need to create the plants in SRM?
With one Purch org to one co code to one plant how will this effect the workflow start conditions
How will the be differnt to a on Purchasing Org to many co codes to many plants?
Any thing else you think that I might need to do with this change

One BP is mapped to a Plant & a Supplier

Hello Experts,
We have a situation in our production system, A plant's description was kept on changing frequently to an unwanted description.
To repair this we used to run Plant replication program. But it was again getting changed to unwanted description. On more investigation we found that, The same BP which is mapped to Plant is also mapped to a Supplier from same back-end ERP system. Hence because of vendor sync Job, it was replicating the vendor description to the BP.
Now we need to repair this scenario. Kindly suggest us, as it in production system from more than 6 month.

Hi Nitin,
We faced similar issue, where in the vendor replication was not happening as the vendor# (in ERP) was already used in the SRM's organizational structure unit.
I guess in your case the vendor_sync program is updating the BP details (name) with the vendor details from ECC.
Since the vendor number cannot be changed in ECC system at this point, I would recommend you to search for the program "BBP*LOCATIONS*DELETE" to delete the plant in SRM system and replicate it again from the ECC side.
Test this thoroughly in DEV system by deleting a plant and then do it in the PROD system.
Kindly revert if this works.

Hi. I presume the plants are linked correctly to the new company code in the backend, table T001K?
Also, check the entries in SRM in table BBP_LOCMAP.
Are the plants assigned to the right company codes in this table?
There is an issue if you replicate plants to SRM then change the company code assignment SRM does not get updated.
To correct BBP_LOCMAP you can use function BBP_CHANGE_ORGANIZATION.

BBP_GET_LOCATIONS_ALL
BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED
after replicating plant
generally in srm 5.0 we run any one of the report and bring the plant into srm and map the plant in extended attribute tab in locations
here we type BP number ( of plant - once you transfer a plant from ecc to srm , it creates a BP for each plant) and we map as said earlier.
check it up .
try one plant BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED by this report . make ensure no ranges available for Business partner in bucf tcode

How to update address for Plant

Hi
I have replicated the plant from ERP to SRM but now there is change in address info of plant in ERP . SO how do i make changes to the address of plant in SRM.
I tried deleting the entry from BBP_LOCMAP table and again replicated the plant but the address didn't got replicated. How do i update the address of plant in SRM , ADRC table.

The only tablestoring info abt the Plants in SRM is "BBP_LOCMAP".Here in this table you will find all the plants which are brought in from the R/3 backend system into SRM by running the report "BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL".

Crystal Report against ECC 6.0 with SSO configured

I created a simple report against the ECC 6.0 Article table and saved it to InfoView. I can run the report fine, but when others run it they get an error stating the logon parameters are incomplete. We are in the process of configuring single sign on and have created other Crystal Reports going against ECC 6.0 with Business Views where SSO turned on in the data connection. Everyone can refresh those reports with no problems. Is their some report setting that needs to be set for Crystal Reports using a data source directly against ECC 6.0 tables?

We have multiple reasons for implementing SNC.
The main reason we have enabled SNC is to simply the users experience while working in the SAP environment. We are going live this month with Plant Maintenance, SRM, Project System, General Ledge and Asset Management reporting cubes in our BW environment as well as in our ECC 6.0 environment. We have set up SAP Portal and have created iviews to BOBJ folders and reports. Users are authenticated once by logging on to the Lan. Once logged on we would like them to seemlessly run SAP transactions and Business Objects reports through the SAP Portal based on their job function. Each user has security setup in BOBJ and SAP to allow access to transactions and reports appropriate for their job function.
We have three types of SAP reports and data connectors.
- One set of Crystal reports go against ECC 6.0 through Business Views with a Data Connection set up for SSO.
- One set of WEBI reports goes against BW queries though Universe Connections set up for SSO.
- One set of Crystal reports go directly against ECC 6.0 tables.
We currently have two issues:
1) The Crystal reports going directly against ECC 6.0 tables are returning the error
Error - The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
2) When we send a link to any report using OpenDocument if the user is not logged on to InfoView they get a rather long error message:
Account Information not recognized: Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system admin....
Our hardware and server setup is a load balancer connected to a cluster of two Tomcat servers connected to two BOBJ servers.

How to create Location using tcode BBPMAININT

I wanted to create local plants in EBP/SRM. I was using tcode BBPMAININT to create Location but facing problem.
Can any one please list steps to follow to create local plant? Is there any other tcode we can use?

What error message are you getting?
Generally LOCAL plants are created using the tracn BBPMAININT.You can also try using the FM "BBP_LOCATION_CREATE" to create the plant in SRM system.

SRM 7.0# Plant in purchase order

How to get Plant address from SAP R/3 to SRM

Hi Gurus,
We need to retrieve the plant address from SAP R/3 to SRM and display it in the output list of the report (SRM).
Suggest any standard FM or should we need to create a Custom Remote enabled FM and put the select query to get the address.

Try using the RFC_READ_TABLE function module...
Pass the table name as t001w which contains the plant details.

Database table/FM to find relation between plant and company code in SRM

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to determine the relation between the plant and company code in SRM.
The plant and company code both belong to R/3. We are replicating the plant by using the report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL.
This plant is now available as a BP in SRM. But from which SRM table or using which SRM FM can I get the relation between this and the company code?
