Play Movie thru Stop Markers

Is there any way to select "Play Movie" and run the whole thing in a project where there are multiple chapters with stop markers?
All I can get is return to the main menu after the first chapter.
Perhaps there needs to be a new type of marker introduced into the program that is a stop marker for scene or chapter selection but is ignored when "play movie" is selected

When you have stop markers in a multi movie Timeline, the play all button will not play all.
The following is a scheme that I came up with to have play all capability and still use Timeline stop markers.
ATR Premiere Elements Troubleshooting: PE: DVD Menu Navigation/Play All Loss
The scheme involves duplicating the Timeline content and placing the duplicate (without stop markers) after the original.
Then with the appropriate choice of menu markers, the main menu play all button function is converted to a bonus button function which
is used to to access the play all content from the main menu. That bonus button on the main menu can be left named
"Bonus" or renamed to "Play all".
Lots to going on in that scheme. Please review and consider, and then we can go over the details step by step if interested.

Trying to play movie thru mini DVI port - display keeps switching back to desktop(?)

I'm not able to play a movie continously to my TV through the dvi port (via hdmi cable) using display mirroring. Picture shows up OK, but after the movie runs a very short time attention shifts back to the iTunes control screen. I've successfully mirrored the display on a TV before, but not tried to play a movie until now. After messing with all the perturbations for a couple of hours, now I can't even get the picture to show up, though everything appears to be acting the same as it was. The movie plays fine on the computer w/o mirroring. I've also tried copying the movie onto my iPad and running the movie from it, but get a message that it's not legal to do so (movie bought via iTunes downloaded onto the iMac (2008; 20-inch; 2.4GHz).

Drag applications from your main desktop off the right side of the screen and they will appear on the TV. This is the extended desktop mode.

I have noticed an issue with utilizing the “stream” function on iOS 7. If you choose to just stream the movie by hitting the play button it seems to actually start downloading (which is fine) but if you are say halfway thru the movie and stop you can clearly see that storage has been reduced under the usage, yet under the “videos” tab it still states “No Data” the only way to delete what you have partially downloaded is to fully download the video, which is fine but there is no way to tell what videos have been partially downloaded (I.e which occurs a lot when your child switches between movies using the so called “stream” function). This becomes troublesome once the capacity of the ipad is almost met and you have no way to delete this data since you may have several videos that have started to be viewed (hence partially downloaded). Apple needs to somehow make it truly streaming or provide an update so the storage can be managed. The only way I have been able to remove partially downloaded videos is by doing a total software restore. (The video data that is in question when connected to my MacBook shows up in iTunes as “other”) if you have any insight into this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

IMO opendns is either doing this on purpose (unlikely) or they're under some sort of attack/being used to attack the specific torrent sites although I'm open to other explanations. I believe using the automatic setting for DNS is using my own ISP's DNS servers (which again, work fine... but still...)

Movie after playing doesn't stop at the last frame.

Movie after playing doesn't stop at the last frame but goes back to frame one. Movie stops normaly when played on iMac but makes trouble when placed in the iBooks Author. That's not eve problem of looping (repeat none). Help, this makes me mad.

You have fragments (leftovers) beyond the end of the Timeline content that you intended.
I am going from an Elements Windows workspace, so please translate into Mac accordingly.
Expand your Timeline content to the maximum with the Zoom Out Zoom In slider above the Timeline.
Press the End key of the computer keyboard. That should take the Timeline Indicator to the fragments which must be deleted.
Explore all the tracks in that area.
Repeat the End key press until the Timeline Indicator stops at the end of the intended Timeline and not some 3 hours afterward.
What you find at "end of track" could be fragments or files that you moved out of the way of the active project and forgot were there.
The fragments typically present as thin vertical black lines scattered about the tracks.

ITunes stops running when trying to play movies

I have several movies loaded into iTunes but when I try to view them on my TV using Apple TV iTunes stops running and wants to close down.
I have played movies before without any issues but this has only happened in the last few days.
Does any one have a solution? The movies by the way haven't been purchased through the iTunes store.. they are my own DVD's

Issue playing scenes in test movie animations stop playing

I'm fairly new to adobe flash so I hope I use the right terms when asking this question. I am using AS2 in CS5.5.
I am creating a project for a class that introduced me to adobe flash. The issue is I have gotten to a certain point about 15 scenes.
During say the 15th scene scrolling through the timeline animations works fine, playing it on test scene works fine. When I go to play it on test movie it stops at a certain point.
At first I thought it might have been a misplaced stop action but there is none to be found. The weird part is every other scene I create after that
continues to freeze as well, the images are there, but the animations won't play. All my previous animations play before those with the issue, it's just

to remedy, remove one or more scenes from your original fla by shift-clicking all the frames/layers in a scene and pasting into a new fla. save the new fla with a new name and publish a new swf that you can load into your original.
there's no limit to how many swfs can be loaded into your original. you might find it convenient to put each scene (after your first few) into their own fla/swf.

Thanks for the question and I believe we have a solution. The best option would be to delete the movie that is giving you an issue and redownload it via the iTunes store past purchase option. I have included a couple articles that will show you how to process these steps.

Downloaded movie to apple tv stops playing movie after few minutes

After a few minutes of watching a movie through Apple TV and Home sharing, the movie inexplicably stops and goes back to main menu. This only started happening 2 days ago and I've had the Apple Tv for 6 months now with this issue not happening before. Seems to maybe be linked to my comuter going into sleep mode, but again, it never used to do this. And I'm not 100% sure of this fact.

I had a more or less similar problem after upgrading to Itunes 11 and the upgrade on the appleTV. Videos just stopped without any message and went back to the main menu of AppleTV.
My Itunes library is hosted on an Imac with a 6Tb firewire 800 connected disk.
What really resolved it was to set the following options in ' System preferences' , ' Energy saver' :
Computer sleep: Never
unselect ' put hard disk to sleep when possible'
select all other options.
After an Itunes restart it worked continuously without any interruption what so ever. (+10 hours or so) .

Safari stops playing mov files in Lion

Having just upgraded to a new iMac i7 2gb graphics and 8gb of ram, I was very annoyed to find that what works fine on my old 2core iMac running snow Lepoard fails on lion.
My current problem is .mov files stopping when embedded into a web page. After many hours to apple care and compleatly reinstalling lion 3 times! Would they actually check the web page and confirm it stopped for them using lion yet it was fine on snow Lepoard! At present they are checking the mov files and said they would return a email as to the problem.
Has any one else had similar issues with .mov files and safari?

Have you emptied the Safari cache? If emptying the Safari cache from the menu bar doesn't help...
Go to ~ / Library / Caches / com.apple.Safari
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash and restart your Mac.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Putting 'Stop' markers in a sequence to be controlled in indesign

Does anyone know a way of having a video that has 'stop' markers placed in the timeline, so that the playback stops at that point, unless the user clicks the 'next' button (that i would set up in Indesign, as this will be an interactive PDF)
I'm playing about with Flash cue markers and exporting to FLV, and i can see these nav points in Indesign when i set up my buttons, and i can get the video to play from these points but i want ti to stop before it gets to the next point....if that makes sense.
