Play's Fine on Mine But Not on Thier's

Okay, this is my situation. I have a presentation that I have imported from PowerPoint with audio that I have on the Captivate 4 timeline. I have gone into and edited the entry and exit anmimations in the PowerPoint presentation from the Captivate interface to match the corisponding audio. When I view the results in the edit window it works perfectly. When I preview the presentation this works perfectly. When I export the presentation and run if off my computer or the web it works perfectly.
However, my clients tell me (I have not been able to see the problem on any of the computers I've tried it on. . .just a couple) that on several of their machines, the bulleted text comes in after the audio it should come in with or is otherwise not matched up.
Have any of you seen this type of problem? Is it some setting they can change on they'er machine that will fix this? I'm not sure what the problem is because it works perfectly for me on multiple machines.

Hi there
You might check which version of the Flash Player/Plug in you are using and see what version they are using. You may be surprised to discover they are using a fairly ancient version of the player. If that's the case, upgrading things may fix it.

Can't FLIP a quick RENDER! Works fine in SHAKE but not to flip or Disk!

Part 1 has you rendering two files, one is a still image, the other a quicktime movie, I don't have the money for premium so I got my own clouds movie (.mov) and added a still plane.
I key framed 1 - 100 and playing it back its fine in shake, but not on FLIP or DISK, its nothing but a still image. Have done it 5 times making sure that all the right buttons are on, or not, and as I said, it works INSIDE of shake but won't RENDER to FLIPBOOK!
I don't suppose anyone wants to send me the exercise files? (on knees begging LOL) I am a member, just can't afford $300 for one pop and this is really the only program I need to learn.

Sorry if I'm pointing out something obvious that you already know. Have you checked the time range in the render dialog? Shake does not fill in the values for you automatically, and defaults to "1" so only renders the 1st frame. It needs to be set to eg "1-100".

The iPod seems to fail to play all of the occasional track that iTunes, and indeed other PMPs, are happy to play. There is probably some minor technical error in the internal structure of the file which is normally ignored by other playback software but causes the Classic to bail out.
If you use Windows you may like to try scanning the files with MP3Validator which can find & fix some internal MP3 errors.
Some users have also suggested that completely removing all id3 tags and then replacing the information can be a solution. This can be achieved in iTunes by selecting an affected track, right/control clicking and using the option Convert id3 tags> None. Since some files may mistakenly have more than one tag you may need to repeat this action. Once you have confirmed that no tag is present you can replace the tag information using Convert id3 tags > V2.3 (I believe it is recommended to avoid using V2.4).
Personally I have found files for which these solutions don't work. In this case the workaround is either to re-rip the tracks or get iTunes to re-encode the file, e.g.convert AAC to MP3 or vice versa and sync the newly encoded file to the iPod instead. Because transcoding will cause a loss of fidelity you should keep your original file so that if a future iPod firmware resolves this issue you can put your original files back onto the iPod.

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

In order to load games on Facebook you need to set the Flash plugin to allow third-party content
1. Go to the Flash player Global Storage Settings panel.

Fixed headers while scrolling works fine in bids but not when deployed to reportserver

Hi, I am using SQL Server 2008 R2 & deploying a report to reportserver with fixed headers while scrolling, this works fine in bids but not when deployed to reportserver. We are IE 9.

Since you have identified the 2 xml files are identical, according to my knowledge, there maybe a compatibility issue with IE 9 and SSRS 2008 R2, so I suggest that you could run the report in compatibility mode. Please make sure you have turned on Compatibility
View in Internet Explorer 9 by following steps:
When Internet Explorer recognizes that a webpage is not compatible, you will see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar. Try clicking it.
When Compatibility View is turned on, the button changes from an outline to a solid color when you view the page.

I have the same problem, my girl-friend saved a bigger Gigabyte library from her old laptop before she sold it, then at some point she realized that she couldn't play many songs that she had transfered. Now, I paid those 30 quid as well, and it doesn't play 99% of the files, that is very frustrating, is there any way you got it revived?
