Play SWF file before it completly downloads

Question

I have set up a progress bar file that in which i have imported my .swf file.  Is there a way I can start playing the flash movie before it is fully downloaded.
Not sure if this is a buffering or streaming question. Lets say it starts playing when it's downloaded at least 50% of it.
I've looked up and tried several ways, but i think i am confusing myself more then helping.

by default, swfs will play frame 1, when enough has downloaded to display frame 1 (and the other assets designated to load in frame 1 have downloaded).  frame 2 will display when enough has downloaded to display frame 2 etc.
