Playback anyone? PLEASE?
I updated today so I could download one of the free million downloads of the ABC's season finales. Bad choice. My video playback is horrible, but my audio sounds perfect.
I deleted all kinds of programs taking up a ton of space, like Sims, and other computer games, and it came out that I'd deleted about 2000 MB all together, as far as it told me.... Did doing this help at all, or was it a waste?
Is there any other way to fix my playback? I've tried the given troublshooting links on the main support page.
FIrst goto the PC makers site and update your video card/driver (May as well install ALL updates that apply to your system while there)

iTunes is available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X - nothing else, including Android.
The version of iTunes pre-installed on an iPad is a store-front for the iTunes Store, and cannot be installed on anything else. -

After several attempts to get some help from Apple, it has become clear to me that my i phone 4 has no options within accessibility to reduce the motion picture.
I have a serious problem with the new software but unfortunatly i cannot go backwards with this update. Apple for obvious reasons will not advise any downgrading options. Can anyone please help me? Is there a third party option here. I do not want to pay for a new phone or replace the i phone as i run a mac,desktop and i pad... !! Thank you.Giansh2006 wrote:

It's only that I'm not clear why you are reluctant to post it. If you have a podcast in the iTunes Store then it's there for the world to see - they might search on its subject or title, for example, even if they don't actually know about it from you. If you look at other posts in this forum you will see that usually people post their URLs and then I can examine the feed and hopefully find out from that what the problem is. Without this information no-one can give you anything more than wild guesses.

For the last month or so my icloud won't back up, it keeps telling me that there is too much storage and I need to delete some data. But I have deleted between 3-400 photos and it is still saying the same, can anyone please help
If they were deleted from your camera roll that should have resulted in a corresponding decrease in the estimated size of your next backup.
If it's still saying that you don't have enough storage to back up, read through this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4847. It provides some suggestions for reducing your iCloud storage, such as deleting unneeded email.
The other area to look at is your text messages. These are included in the backup. If you have lots of photos and videos attached to your messages, that can significantly increase the size of your backup. If that's the case, deleting these may make a big difference. -
I posted a couple of days ago about a problem my iPhone 4 was having trying to stream video via WiFi
Basically, since I upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 I cannot stream YouTube videos via the app or via Safari, Netflix will not work nor will services such as BBC iPlayer.
I've also discovered this evening I cannot stream any radio apps either.
All of them will play for 10-30 seconds then stop buffering making them impossible to play.
I was given several pieces of advice including restoring the phone to factory settings, restoring it as a new phone, hard resetting twice in a row, deleting all the cache/data in Safari but nothing that has been suggessted has solved the problem.
I know it is not a problem with my internet/WiFi as I have a laptop and a PC both using it and streaming YouTube/raddio stations etc. with no problem. Also, my girlfriend has a 3GS with the old YouTube player and that works with no problems at all.
Can anyone please help me out as it's getting a bit frustrating not being able to use the streaming function on my iPhone.
One thing that is odd, I have no problem surfing the web on the phone via WiFi or streaming over 3G. It is only a problem when trying to stream video/audio over WiFi.

Upgrade from v10.5.8 on an iBook G4? No. The next OS X up from v10.5 Leopard is v10.6 Snow Leopard.
Requirements for Snow Leopard include an Intel procdessor. Your iBookG4 is PowerPC.

When my ipod touch is in recovery mode (when I try to re-store it) the itunes page sayes the website has been timed out and so it won't re-store. There is a limited time, whilst restoring the ipod, it lasts for approx 5 mins, then asks to start again all over again. Can anyone please help me?

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. Well, i lost my iPod at school i dont know if it was stolen, it fell out of my pocket or what but either way it is gone. I have the find my ipod app, and contacted the local police, but i just want it back. I have turned the WIFI off because it runs down my battery and i dont get service at school. Can anyone please give me some advice as to what i should do? Retracing my steps, looking at home, backpack, car, room, clothes have all been looked through. Someone please help! It was a gift from my dad. Its really important to me!
There is nothng special you can do without wifi being on.
Report it to the school and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod. Apple will not help with anything. -

Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

Since updating my iTunes I no longer have any controls. iTune covers the entire desktop and I cannot add from my files. Prior to updating I had a perfectly good iTunes which would allow me to stories for including on a iPod.

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

Holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening. That will bring up the 'choose iTunes library' dialog. Select 'Choose LIbrary' from the choices and navigate to your music folder and iTunes music folder.

Easiest way with Acrobat pro, is save the Word document, then convert the document to PDF with Acrobat, rather than doing a "save as" in Word itself to PDF.
