Playback Live- loosing my patience!

I just recorded 50 songs into Logic Pro X. This is going to be replacing my sequencer/workstation, that is way too big to lug around especially because I don't really even play it. Two tracks of sequencer, one of BGVocals, and one of click track. Recording is fine, playing back the 4 individual channels from my M-track quad also seems fine. HOWEVER, I need to be able to create a playlist/setlist, and fire each song in order with a GO button. I tried mainstage, don't really understand it. Also downloaded QLab under the advice of my FOH engineer and it works exactly as I need, but not with LOGIC files. Works great with mp3's. It plays a song, stops, advances the next, and then I hit the space bar and we're off. But as I said, doesn't work with logic aiff or wav.
Another thought is to record each 45 minute set as one 'project' and use markers (?). But that makes it tough to skip around if necessary. Bottom line, I can't be scrolling around in "Finder" in the middle of a show.
Does this make sense? ...the debut of this new, smaller rig is TOMORROW! Please help.

Their support staff told me ta couple of weeks ago that LPX support would be in the next update along with Ableton Live 9 support.....
Well, the update came out (v1.22) and it does now has Live 9 support but still no LPX support..
Really sorry about that...... I saw the update had come out and assumed LPX support would now be up and running...given they said that was their main priority for this update...
.I'll update my notes to reflect this...

    I am having this problem.  At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2.  I am not sure why this is happening. 
    My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
    The problem mainly occurs with apps.  I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them.  The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
    Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage.  It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup.  With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up.  The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
    My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete.  This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
    I have been wondering if others have had these same problems.

    has been harassing me for the last couples of days while i had tried to renew my bloody license which requires me to sing in.
    I have started even loosing confidence in MS and I have tried all the solutions i have found, None have yield any positives result if this program wasn't needed for a class i would have just given up on it by this point. I am using MS Virtual Studio 2013
    with update 4, and have been trying to input a product key. I have tried to flush my dns, re installing and the bloody command prompt (VSExpres.exe/resetuserdata) this has been an absolute nightmare and this had made me severly consider waisting any more time
    or money on your product. Either way Can some one help me with this?

  • Live Multibitrate - How to implement?

    I am trying to set up my media player to playback Live Multibitrate streams (via .f4m). I'm not finding any documentation or samples. Does anyone know how to implement this? Or, is there a sample out there that I could inspect?

    This example doesn't use live streams, but it should be fairly straightforward to add the <streamType>live</streamType> tag.

  • E3000 Media Server disconnection

    My setup (I'll use wired to ease things up) :
    I have Cisco E3000 router wired to a Western Digital HD TV Live Media Player.
    A USB external hard drive is plugged into the router and acts as the media server.
    E3000 has both a guest and a private network (I'm using the private network with the TV Live).
    Workgroup of both TV LIVE and router (and PCs) is "WORKGROUP".
    I'm using static, internal IP adresses for the TV LIVE and any other equipment in my network.
    When the wired TV LIVE looses its connection, I have to check the connection in my settings and resume playback.
    When the wireless TV LIVE looses its connection, I cannot only check the connection again because it hangs at DNS server. I have to go to Wireless favorites, re-connect and resume playback. I'm using a Linksys WUSB600N v2 dongle and the signal only needs to travel a flat 20ft through a single wall.
    I think it might be a router setting since both wired and wireless drop connection, but I'm not sure.
    What should I check ?

    Try the following settings on the router...
    On the router setup page,Under the Wireless tab,click on the subtab "Basic Wireless Settings"..Now,select the option "Manual".For 5GHz...Change the Channel Width to 40MHz only and Channel to 161-5.805GHz.For 2.4GHz...Change the Channel Width to 20MHz only and Channel to 11-2.462GHz.Click save settings.
    Power Cycle the router and check.

    The internet goes out and I have to reset network setting each and every time. This is only a temporary solution which by the time I release the line with Spring or leave the apple store the issue is back. Sprint indicates that it is a know issue with the Iphone 5 and apple says it is a network issue as Sprint's network is not up to par with the Iphone and can not meet the expectations on the Iphone 5.
    I have attached a few picture, as you can see it clearly says I have 5 bars and 3g available but I have no connections what so ever.
    This issue affects all data and so I can not send or receive picture messages, use apps, or access the internet. The data goes in and out intermittently and it seems the phone chooses what I can and can't do.
    For example I can watch Youtube or Vevo videos but I can not access Facebook or Instagram.
    Is anyone else having this issue?
    I will soon loose my patience....
    I have reset my phone three time and have reset network and other setting mutltiple times.

  • Apple login keeps appearing on my iphone

    I currently have an iphone 4S running IOS 6.1.3 software and to my annoyance I keep having the Apple ID login box appearing on my phone asking for my password. Even though I put in my password it will re-appear shortly after asking for my password again. I am now being too loose my patience!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can't send email through my aol mail on my iPad 2 after updating to iOS 7

    I had to update m iPad because I was no longer able to work a lot of my apps because they kept telling me that there was an update that I had to do in order to even work my apps!  I was very reluctant to do it in the first place fearing that I would loose a lot of my pics, videos and or more!  Anyway so the other day I sat down and finally did it.  After updating my iPad 2 to the new operating system of iOS 7 now I cannot send emails through my aol mail on my iPad.  I tried putzing with the settings for smtp and to no avail nothing,  I then decided well maybe downloading the aol app would help but still not good enough because it takes up so much room that I had to delete some apps just to get it.  I had since deleted the aol app and am still trying to figure out why I keep getting the message I am getting is incorrect] hen it gives me two options which are option 1) Settings and option 2) Cancel.  I am in need of assistance here because I can receive mail but cannot send it.  Oh and I am able to send mail through my other email addresses on my iPad mail including my me.com and iCloud.com as well as two others but am not able to send through aol.  I am loosing my patience with apple very quickly as one why did I have to update the system and why am I forced to update my apps which I feel is completely ridiculous in the first place.  Everything was fine until I had to do that and now I cannot keep my iPad on for more then an hour when the battery drains so quickly now because I guess it takes up so much unneeded space!  PLEASE HELP ME!

    Here is an article I would recommend going through when experiencing issues with mail.  The usual fix would be to delete the email account in question and add this account via the preset AOL option.  I would also recommend checking with your email provider for security procedures such as two-step verification as this could cause this issue.

  • Photoshop cc 2014 and lightroom doesn't work

    Hi,
    I need your help.
    Installed Photoshop and Lightroom as trial today.
    Since 5 hrs I try to make them work and I am close of loosing my patience.
    I have a laptop, windows 7, 64 bit.
    Updated all the drivers.
    Installed and deinstalled the products couple times.
    Signed in and out of the cloud. And still having the same problem:
    PS starts up normal and after few seconds just closes.
    No error message. Then the message if I still want to use my trial pops up.
    Lightroom doesn't start at all. After few seconds the trial message showes up.
    What can I do?
    I need the PS for my work.
    Checked the crash reports and fixed the driver.
    Also checked the aministrativ status.
    Checked also numerous help from other users with the same issue and also YouTube.
    Still having the problem.

    None of my "Edit In" worked with the pictures in Lightroom for a particular folder. I expanded the 2014 folder and found that two subfolders had a "?" in front of the 2014-07-04" and another. In other words, the folder was missing. After I found the missing folders using the Lightroom "Find Missing Folder" option, I was able to use the "Edit In" menu item. The 2014 folders weren't expanded at first, so I didn't see the ? marks in front of them. With the missing folders, Lightroom's "Edit In" option was basically telling me there was no picture to "Edit In." Howerver, I have Previews and Smart Previews made when I import picture files into Lightroom. So, the "pictures" showed in the slide strip on the bottom, and also in the display in "expand," but it was actually only showing the previews I had built, not the actual missing pictures in the missing folders. I had accidentally moved some directories using Windows Explorer, and I didn't realize my "happy fingers" moved them outside of Lightroom. Of course, Lightroom has no way of knowing I moved them, and just shows the "?" before the missing folder name. After expanding the root folder, then knew what to do. Fixed it easily. It was frustrating, and took about 20 minutes to see the problem. And that fixed the greyed-out "Edit In" Photoshop CC 2014, and all the other plug-ins were greyed out too.
    Hope this fixes your problem.

    Hi everyone, i really need to share my problem with someone, BT is really making me very stressed and i am a calm person!
    I have wasted hours and hours on the phone to BT, endless excuses and irritating Indian Call centre operators promising to do something. nothing for 3 months apart from painful speeds and call centre loops!!
    i have had... you can't get broadband in your area as the lines are old copper lines... please contact your vendor as your Windows PC is the problem, err, i use a MAC!... i have changed the line sped, please wait 10 days for it to take effect... do you have a TV in your room, is it more than 15 ft away? yes, of course its on the other side of my 60ft lounge!... me: i have tried 6 computers and it doesn't work.. response, the router only supports up to 5 machines at once sir, this is your problem!!
    Ok, sorry for the rant, finally i managed to get an engineer out for the 3rd time to sort a horrendously crackly line, even he said it was bad and, unlike the other 2, bothered to travel 500m to a connection box and rewire all the corroded connectors, bingo.. the line is now clear!! but, 2 days later i am still running at 100kbs and after numerous phone calls nobody will change my IP Profile and i am loosing my patience, i can't wait 10 days! is there any way of increasing my IP Profile now the line is clear. and there are no dropped connections.
    I am a photographer, need a fast connection and cannot keep travelling 30 miles to the office, i am loosing credibility from clients and my sanity. Please Help, i can't abide any more call centres!

  • Problem opening a Premiere cs3 project in Premiere cs4

    i recently did a clean install on a new machine with adobe premiere cs4
    i attempted to open the project in adobe cs4 that i created in adobe cs 3
    ( i confirmed that the project isnt corrupted as the same project plays fine on another machine that has cs3 running)
    Here is what happens When i open the project in cs4 it goes through the stages below and keeps looping and indexing.
    *first pass: i first see adobe indexing the project and there is a  media pending display in the program display and on the time line the thumbnails have not been created where the edits are.
    * second pass: adobe finishes the indexing and then i see adobe looping again to conforming the video again, there is still a media pending display in the program display  but this time the thumbnails have appeared on the timeline and i see the subclips in the project bin.
    * Adobe stops indexing but there is still the media pending display on the program display so then i grab the timeline slider to scroll throught the project and then the indexing process starts all over again in this endless loop.
    The project is located on a local drive and i turned off indexing on the drive.
    I also tried deleting the rendered and preview files from the cs3 copied project , hoping that
    CS4 would recreate everything. and still no luck
    Any specific steps that i can do to trouble shoot this problem

    When one Opens a CS3 Project in CS4, there is a lot of work that needs to be done. I'd Open the Project, and go get some coffee (decaf, so you will not loose your patience). Just let it do its thing with no input to the computer at all. Come back in 5 - 10 mins. and see if all have been completed. Be patient.
    If you are actually getting a loop in the Conforming, Indexing and the rest - remember be patient - then close down and reboot. Try Importing the CS3 Project into a New Project in CS4 to see if things improve.
    BTW did I mention being patient?

  • Problem with maploader

    i have an e50 nokia phone, i have downloaded and installed the maps app(smart2go) also have installed the maploader. i want to download some map just for information not for navigation, but the maploader does not find my phone, i have used the maps from my phone( i mean i have opened the application) help!!!!

    OMG this fone (N95) is doing my head in. Im having PROBLEM with installing the smart2go into the fone. Ive downloaded & saved into a PC file however everytime i tried to intall it into the fone, a message popped up "Update error!". Could anyone please tell me what it means and how do i go about installing it.
    Ive just had the fone for 3 days and im loosing my patience.The dealer told me i had to download the map before i can use the GPS by going to www.nokia.com/maps ... iIve gone into it and there are 2 free softwares for N95 NokiaMaps and MapLoader. The website recommended downloading NokiaMap first (which is the smart2go) before downloading MapLoader. ( We recommend installing Nokia Maps on your mobile device prior to installing Nokia MapLoader on your PC.)Ive tried MANY times for both PC Suites and Mass Storafe modes and it didnt work. So i decided to install NokiaMapLoader into the fone before NokiaMaps and it took ages. The downloading time was like 14 hours. and so i cancelled after half an hr waiting for 0.3% download.
    Could you guys please be kind enough to show me how to use this thing n get the GPS works because its driving me up the wall. wts all the fuss about?? this is a duff.

  • Issues in JEDEVELOPER  11g

    Hi friends,
    I very often get the following errors while working in 11g. I loose my patience in debugging these errors.
    Pls let me know whar could be the reasons for these.
    1) I often get this message in the log : Binding null for PageDef : and it impacts my bindings.
    2)The domain edit lock is owned by another session in exclusive mode - hence this deployment operation cannot proceed - Weblogic error.
    Kindly help me in solving these.

    Hi,
    For the first one, go into the source of your pageDef and make sure that the bindings you are using are the only ones present. Sometimes if you recreate bindings and remove them, the pageDef keeps a reference to a mapping but maybe you are not using it any more.
    For the second issue, you need to go into the WLS console http://127.0.0.1:7101/console/ with user/password weblogic/weblogic and on the left hand side you will see a box containing view Changes and Restarts. Apply all pending changes and then you will be able to re-deploy your application again.
    The domain gets locked at un-deploying and if for some reason there are exceptions it causes the domain to remain locked. Does it happen often to you? Would you be able to provide the steps to hit this behavior?

  • Bold 9930 - dead and flashing red light

    Bold - Verizon 9930, died with flashing red light, non-responsive. Can connect wtih loader, re-loading latest OS for Verizon (7.1.0_rel1737_PL5.1.0.429_A7.1.0.580_Verizon_Wireless) Load fails with "application loader was unable to connect with your device" when it tries to connect with the JVM. I have tried:- fully charged known good battery (tested in another 9930)- wiping device- start without battery, insert battery when JVM message comes up- both BB desktop and Loader directly- two different PCs (no change)- different USB ports- older version of BB OS for device- many, many iterations... All end with "application loader was unable to connect with your device" Is the device scrap?  If so why?  It's not even 2 years old, out of warranty, and apparently now totally worthless.  This one is the CEO's Blackberry, and he's not happy...  If I can't resolve this, it will be the very last BB to ever see the inside of our company.  This is the second 9930 to die this way in the last 4 weeks.

    Nevertheless, please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
    With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
    Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
    Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
    While you've already validated that your battery is good, I don't think you've tried the first part of this test:
    Obtain a known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
    Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
    The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.
    While perhaps redundant to what you've already attempted, here are a few more things to try:

    Since you are out of warranty, your next step I suppose would be to seek in-hand support from a qualified technician to give you a proper diagnosis. Doing such at this internet distance is quite a challenge and therefore cannot replace in-hand evaluation and diagnosis.

  • Cant connect my Ipod to my computer

    My ipod disconnect from my windows vista computer randomly and I am unable to reconnect my devise unless i restart my ipod. This is getting very annyoing and I'm starting to loose my patience.

    - Try another cable.
    - Try another USB port
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Try on another computer to help determine if you have a computer or iPod problem
