Playbook became Trash after OS updation

Hi There,
During my daily activity my playbook asked for OS updation & after downloading 312 MB of file & successful updation of new realease, my tablet became trash. It not even getting connected to desktop application & hence i am unable to transfer new datas on this tablet.
Now, i have consulted authorized service center & now they have refused to take the tablet & stating that they don't have solution for this.
Kindly help me on this.

I re-installed the latest OS update from a coffee shop hot spot and again from another hot spot ...so 2 re-installs and both my netbook and my desktop with the installed Desktop Softwrae 7.1 won't recognize my Playbook

Trying to recover my data My Micro SD Card became corrupted after JB Update

Can someone please help me?
Here is the issue:
Background:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone that I transferred my micro SD Card into from my previous smart phone. About a month ago I realized that some of the pictures were corrupted and called verizon they told me to put the sd card in the old phone and see if I could delete the corrupted pictures. Did that, the card went back to working as I was used to it working. I then had a friend download some music to it. That also worked fine until verizon sent out the Jelly bean update. When the phone turned off and then back on after the update, the phone gave me an error message that said the SD card is damaged. I immediately took it out of the phone and put it aside.
Current issue:
So today I purchased a card reader, New micro SD card and came home and downloaded Recuva. So far everything is great. All the files, I card about came up in the directory with little green circles next to them. (All the music and my 5 sms back-ups) I then hit the recover icon at the bottom of the screen and the data gathered. Then it never recovered over to my c drive or to the flash drive (memory stick) that that I put into one of the other ports. I keep getting 1 or 2 messages. The one I am seeing the most is " The parameter is incorrect" the other one I am seeing is that the memory is not ready for the data. I am now at the point where all I care about are the 5 sms back ups. The music can be reloaded later. files are called sms-"date backed up and a string of numbers".xml
So question is do I need to buy recuva to actually recover my data or am I doing something else wrong? Please help.

So an update as of 8:45 pm
So here's what else I have tried so far tonight. I went back into the CMD mode of my computer and ran chkdsk d:/f   this now produced a name of a file that is corrupted. Also says that it removed the file. I then ran chkdsk again with the exact same result. The file was not removed.
Running recuva I am getting more files recovered now and more green circles. But, when actually trying to recover the files I am still getting the message "The parameter is incorrect"
Most of the other software i have found is either for recovering pictures or deleted files not corrupted ones. This is the only software that appears to do what i need it to do for my issue. I think I may be in over my head and it may be time to pay a professional to move on from here. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

There are some free alternatives to recovering files from a SDcard. photorec.exe is one. Try a Google search to find others.

Some websites, like Amazon and Shutterstock became garbled after I updated Java.

Some websites, like Amazon and Shutterstock show up completely garbled. I suspect problems with Javascript, and I'm pretty sure the issue started after I updated Java. I did all the troubleshooting tips listed on this site, and none helped. I booted Firefox without extensions and the problem prevailed. I don't know what else to do.
Mac OS 10.6.8, Java up to date, Firefox 12.0

Trash after newest update

after the newest update every time i put something into the trash it deletes instead of going into the trash folder, and it always asks me when i move something into the trash if i want to because it will be deleted immediately.
before i could put stuff in the trash and it would only delete when i emptied the trash, anyone know how i can fix this?

Are you logged into your Admin. account or other user account?

[SOLVED]Shutdown process became noisy after an update of systemd

Hello all.
I recently found that there is a bit more output than before while shutdown process -- As far as I remember, in February, there are only two-line-output randomly while shutdown process.
But now it seems a bit more noisy , when I run 「halt」, I'll get several lines output almost full in one screen. After downgrade many many packages, I found that an systemd update (208-11 -> 209-2) cause this problem. Here is the output after upgrade to testing/systemd 209-2:

Yesterday I downgrade my another Arch Linux in Virtualbox from 2014/05 to 2014/02 (via A.R.M), just want to find that which update cause the 「quiet」 parameter has no effect on systemd-shutdown. I've been found some upstream changes which likely to change the behaviour since systemd 206: this commit(perhaps I misunderstand something)... Anyway I'll try to resolve this problem though it is a bit difficult for me

Lion asking for password when I drag an item to trash after and update

I have a Macbook Pro, I upgraded to Lion 3 weeks ago. Yesterday it had an update that took about 1.5 hours. Now, when I drag something in the trash, it asks for my computer password. I don't want to give that to the other person sharing this computer. And, I don't really want to set up another user. It worked until yesterday. Anyone know what is wrong?

It is a folder which I have created. Name is "SAP".
I copied some of my office stuff and then deleted the contents inside the folder. But I couldnt delete the folder SAP.
This is happening after the Mavericks update.

PlayBook doesn't charge after OS update

I have a serious problem with my BlackBerry PlayBook. It is not getting charged even though I connect it to the power for hours. I believe the problem started after the recent OS update. I tried both USB charging as well as using power cable, but there wasn't any change.
I can turn on PlayBook and use it while the power cable is connected. The charging icon is also shown. But it is always showing 0% and the PlayBook get turned off soon after I disconnect power. There isn't any physical damages to PlayBook and power cable. Also it hadn't completely drained out before this problem occurred. After OS update even though I tried charging PlayBook while it has around 20% charge it didn't get charged.
I read some other posts about holding down the power and volume up and down buttons. But it didn't work. Anyone know what might be wrong?

After recent update to Mountain Lion, trash won't empty completely; says "item" inuse

After recent update to Mountain Lion, trash will not empty completely. Always an item left in trash, and I get message that the "item is in use." Right now, using app Trash it! to get rid of that left behind item.

Try rebuilding Trash and see if that sorts it...
Launch Terminal and copy & paste these commands:
Go to /Applications /Utilities/Terminal and launch it.
At the prompt, copy and paste this command
sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash
Press Return.
You will be asked to enter your admin password. It will be invisible.
Enter it and press Return.
Log out and back in or restart.
Let us know.

My computer couldn't find my playbook anymore after software update!!!

After software updated to 1.0.7.3312, my computer couldn't find my playbook anymore.
First couple time it could find normally as like before, few times later it could not anymore!!! LOL.
I tried connect to the other PC either in my office and home several times, exactly same happen again.
Anybody got same problem that I have? Please advice me.
My computers have Window7, 32bit.

It is not a widespread issue that requires apple to come out with a fix, I have many ipads that were updated and have no issues.
I would suggest you back-up and restore your device, that can repair many issues if the original update was corrupted.

My Blackberry Z10 became extremely slow after OS update to version 10.3.1.2243. For example it sends text message 10-15 seconds after send button has been hit.
Can not answer the phone when a caller is calling (answer slide interface is unrespnsovie), if I want to launch any application screen turns black and nothing happens, etc.
Does anyone experience similar issues?

A quick read of this site will answer your final question quite clearly. The "fix" depends on several factors, but given what you describe I recommend you immediately update, via AutoLoader, to the most recent version (.2582)...some of the prior versions contain some particularly challenging issues, which are reported to be fixed in this version.

Everything lost on Playbook after recent update - No I didn't backup Wasn't suggested

So I updated my Playbook the other night, and now everything is gone. All pictures, videos, Books, recipes etc
Is there a way to retrieve any of my information?

The data wasn't lost simply because he did an update. The data should have still been there after the update was completed. Something else went wrong during the update/restore process. It shouldn't happen but does happen occasionally. However, if you didn't have a backup then, unfortunately, your data is gone.

Sound became scratchy after a Realtek update

I used Realtek sound drivers since I bought the laptop, Satellite A500-13F (Vista 32), and now after an update to 6.0.1.6029 sound became different and raspy. First I noticed this with voices when I was listening to a talk show on an online talk radio. Before the sound was always perfect without any issue, I'm listening to this online radio all the time and I know when the sound isn't okay. I tried rolling back to a previous driver but the sound didn't work anymore after a restart, so I updated again to this version and I tried using an equalizer to reduce the scratchy sound but it doesn't help much. Is there anything else I can do? I searched and someone had a similiar issue, they had 5.1 turned on instead of stereo. Where could I check which one is turned on? I don't see anything in Realtek HD Audio Manager. Or is it the HD causing this? Since I got this laptop it was strange that the sound driver is HD if it's just a laptop with two speakers.
