Played podcast blue dot does not go away

When I play a podcast on my ipod than reconnect to do another sync it still shows that podcast with blue dot. This means to me that I have not played/listened to it yet. This is really a pain in the...
Also would be nice when I select audio podcast it will tell me which ones are video podcast. When pressing video podcast only video podcast come up.
I have the same thing happening. I can play an iTune song, but the blue dot is still there. Let me know if you find out what is causing it.

Control-click the Dock's divider line and enable hiding. If that's not the setting you want, check the settings inside the games.

I fixed this problem by turning off the ipad and then turning it back on after 5-10 minutes.
Hopefully then when you play a video it will start playing. -
itunes 11.1.3.8 shows a speaker icon in front of the seclection but it is not playing. the progress bar does not move. there are speakers attached to the system and all other programs do profuce an audio output.
Go to the Edit -> Preferences-> Playback
In The bottom section of the page click the drop down menu by Play Audio Using and select Windows Audio Session or something other than "Direct sound" or whatever it displays. Click Okay. This worked for me! I hope it works for you too!

in iTunes 11.1 (I26) , I cannot find how to delete podcast listings showing undownloaded podcasts. Delete does not work. Option Delete does not work. Dragging to the trash does not work. Under Edit, Delete is greyed out. Mac OS 10.6.8.
Tom at the Genius Bar told me that Option Delete would work. It does not.
I had to upgrade to iTunes 11.1.(I26) because it is required with OS7 on my iPod Touch (5th Gen). I have tried shutting down iTunes, then shutting down the entire system. This is the first in many visits that the Genius Bar gave me a solution that did not work.
This is a big awkward computer locked to my desk. I would rather not unlock it and then carry it through a shopping center to the Genius Bar if i can avoid oit.

I did not read the rather long post. If you wish to reinstall OS X 10.4, use your software install DVD. Backup is essential. To minimize your risk, I would use an archive and install:

Incidentally, I do not agree that the printer problem is best solved by reinstalling OS X. I have had HP printers for sometime and, on one occasion, had difficulty after an upgrade. HP technical support walked me through uninstalling all traces of the HP driver and then reinstalling.

Print dialog window does not go away

This is an issue I've experienced many times. When I try to print a web page from Safari, the print dialog opens, I select the printer and/or orientation, then I click on the "OK" button. But, the window does not respond, Safari seems to be working (it does not appear as 'not responding' in the 'force quit' dialog and the menus are selectable. But the window does not go away, nothing is sent to the printer, and Safari does not respond to certain operations such as moving to another tab, go back, or change the url, so basically I am stuck, no printing, and end up closing safari to open it again.Hello mario:
Is this an intermittent problem, or does it happen all the time? I would, at a minimum, run repair disk from your software install DVD and also run permission repair from your HD.
I would also trash the Safari preference file (com.apple.safari.plist) and restart.
Of course, the problem could lie in the connectivity with your printer, but that is another issue.

I cannot unlock my phone. When I hit the number the key is highlighted but the "dot" does not show in the passcode box. Have shut it off and restarted nothing. Held on/off and "square" key to reset but still nothing. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue
Connect to iTunes and try to reset it from there.

As I record, it shows the green bars; however, when I play the recording it does not play my voice over at all nor show the green bars. I was mid-way through my project when this problem occured. HELP!!!!
As far as I can see, it's random. Everything. Nothing makes any sense!
A the moment, the iPhone is playing music with the SIM card, but without anything plugged into it, but it's occasionally fading in and out.
Oh, and I doubt this is related, but about two months ago the iPhone failed to show that the battery was draining - it was stuck at 100%. This went on for a few days, it wouldn't even warn me at the 20% mark, it would just shut off. This happened for at least three full charges - I remember at one point it suddenly started working again at about the 70% mark, I'm not sure if it was alright after that or if it went glitchy on the next charge... but in any case, the problem mysteriously never reappeared after those few days.

When at the "results" page of a search, clicking on "blue" link does not display webpage although url is shown in address bar. Copying "green" url, shown at bottom of a result, into address bar and hitting "enter" goes to the address and displays the page. Have tried different selections at tools/options with no change. Is there some other setting that needs to be changed?
