Player doesn't determine my position (gps)

I have touch with version 4.2.1 (bought it two days ago). But it couldn't to determine my position. Which is problem with my player? I tried to install some other apps for gps, but all of them failed.

As of yet, no one has been able to determine how to update Apple's database. From the recent flap in the USA (at least) about iPhones retaining location information and sending it back to Apple) it may be that Apple uses iPhone location information. This can be done since the newer iPhones have GPS so then can send back to Apple the GPS location and the identification of nearby wifi routers.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

Flash player doesn't work on some websites

Hi,
For some reason, video stays black on some websites, some other websites like youtube work. I applied the permissions fix that I found which worked at first but now the problem is back and this fix doesn't work anymore.
I tried everything from fresh install to using older version, nothing works.
I don't know what else to do.

For some reason flash player doesn't load the swf file with Shockwave Flash 11.4 r402 enabled, only the Shockwave Flash 13.0 r0 works.
Since the swf file was build to work fine with 10.2 from flash player version(build on flash builder 4.5), i really don't know what is happening

It might be a huge coincidence but the drive was working fine before i installed lion?

Installing Lion would not cause the superdrive to stop working. Are you unsure as to whether or no a cd/dvd is inside? Something may be broken inside and you should consider bringing it in for service.

macfriedchikkin's reply would make sense to you if you were trying to open a camera, but if you are trying to view streming media from a web site that is a different story. It helps to be very specific about what you are tyring to do on these forums.
I belive you would go into Firefox Preferences menu and tell it to use VLC as the application to play WMV files. I'm still running Tiger, however, so I can't tell you if it the latest version works wel that way. The Tiger version doesn't seem to, but a lot may have changed since then. (I'm only just getting around to installing Leopard next week now that there are too may apps I can't run on Tiger. ) Perhaps someone else on this forum can better help you set up the player in your browser.
Or you can cut out the middleman and give VLC the direct video URL:
Choose Open File from the File menu and paste in the URL of the video, say,

Your media should play this way. Dont forget to save the playlist for later.
I'l keep investigating on my end, and yes, I'm also encouraging certain people who are streaming windows media in to switching to a different format

sounds like you haven't updated your software, check the box is connected to the homehub and you have internet, you can try using BBC iplayer, if that works then the box has an internet connection.
Then go to settings> device management> check for software update.

Determining Mouse Position

I'm trying to determine the position of the mouse cursor relative to my content pane, while over an added component. I'd rather not do any calculating, since MouseEvent.getPoint() returns the point within the component the mouse is overbut will if no other alternatives come about.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

use SwingUtilities.convertMouseEvent or which ever convert() method you like.

these are the files that need deleting in order to get rid of the corrupted library.

TIP: Connect the device in USB mass storage mode (File Transfer), to locate the private folder from the PC.
TIP: STRING and x_x will change depending on your phone. (my files had slightly different names than above on the n97)

Flash Player doesn't loop internet animations

My Flash Player doesn't loop animations that are supposed to repeat theirselves.
It always stops at the last frame,
but this only happens to online animations.
Is there some feature where I could change that?

No, of course not.
I have two computers,
my old one still has the old Flash Player (I think), and the new one the new version.
The old computer plays the animation like it's supposed to be, unlike my new one.
That's impossible if it's missing/containing a command.

after i have cleared my computer, my mp3 player, ( jukebox zen extra, 30 gb.) doesn't work anymore on my computer. As soon as i turn on my player, my mouse doesn't work anymore and my player doesn't work either.
Some ideas? I have new drivers installed, but still nothing. Forgive for my english, but i am dutch!

Sounds like a USB problem with the PC.
There are various things you can try, but as Cat suggests you should ideally check the player with another PC say a friend's just to be sure it's OK.
In terms of the PC, make sure you have the latest USB chipset drivers and BIOS for the motherboard, and that the player is connected directly to the PC itself not via a hub. Make sure to try all the USB ports on the PC.
