Im a little tired of the randomness of my iPod and have started to listen to individual albums. I really want to hear them the way they intended, i.e track one should play first! However, on my iPod track one plays last.
How can I get my iPod to play them in the correct order?

You have several options: 1) Make a temporary playlist containing those two albums. 2) Highlight those two albums and select "Play next in Party Shuffle", then use Party Shuffle to play them. (If Party Shuffle's source is set to an empty playlist, it will play those two albums and then stop.) 3) Using the Browser, command-click those two albums in the Album pane, so both are highlighted, then press play normally.

There are users reporting the process being stuck and it might have to do with apple turning on match to other countries today.
Have you tried turning match off and letting it remove all none downloaded songs and then turning match back on to see if it fixes it?
Sometimes turn match off and then back on fixes some things, but not always.
Especially if it is working on your other devices, it has to be with the one your trying to get the song downloaded onto.

Some basics: We are using Robohelp 10 to generate multiscreen html5 output. We used the pharmaceutical screen layout downloaded from: http://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/robohelp-screen-profiles-layouts.html but modified it to match our GUI.
We are having a problem with the browse sequence back and browse sequence next buttons placed in the screen layout from the widgets tool bar. We are in no way experts at this part of Robohelp...and the css portion of all this is a bit of mystery but we have managed to get mostly what we need. Now we just need these buttons to work. In the past we used Airhelp and things worked great. Can anyone help us understand why the sequence buttons are not showing up in the output even though it does in the topic preview?

I FINALLY GOT IT! after months of relentless synching/autofilling problems on my 4th generation i figured out the solution.
this is what i did: plugged in ipod on off mode~>manually deleting my ipod's songs~>restored factory settings~>unchecked automatic synch~>made a new playlist with exactly the songs & order i wanted for my ipod (just dragged old playlists into the new one)~>then autofilled that new playlist into my ipod. came out like a charm! (before u autofill UNCHECK random add songs)
my ipod always ended up autofilling/synching my customized playlists wrong or it would automatically do my music library (and that was way unorganized), so this worked.

How to detect the correct sequence of boolean switches pushed

My program does everything I want it too. However, I need to have the boolean switches (digital inputs when wired to hardware) be detected in the right sequence. There are 16 switches on a hardware board. The test subject is shown 3 colours before hand and the sequence of buttons to be pushed when prompted on the screen with one of the colours, each colour pertains to a specific sequence of 4 switches being pushed out of the 16 as quickly as possible. The sequence of buttons always stays the same according to the hree colours red, yellow, blue.
In the program that is 99% working correctly I tried using a flat sequence. It will give me a true if i hit the switches correctly - but will also give a true if I hit them backwards etc... I thought a flat sequence was read left to right?
Then I messed around using a structured event - index the array of switches pushed and compare to an array control of values. I understand how it works, but the correct code is elusive.

Hi Ned,
Your Producer-Consumer model is actually very close to working. In the original screen-captured version it looks like you're trying to use the sequence structure to capture the order, but in reality you will only capture the logical AND of all 4 buttons with no information about the order in which they were pressed. The sequence structure does not by itself wait for an event to occur inside the frame, which means all 4 frames will be read as fast as the processor gets around to reading them - which will be very fast.
I made some changes to your VI and renamed it Rev 1. See if that makes a little more sense with the notes I made on the front panel. I also did a different version with a single loop and some added functionality (-kb), just in case your'e interested in another way to look at it.

Now a days I shoot AVCHD but I have video from years past that is from several different
Video cameras, on my hard drive, just waiting until I get around to editing it. How do I
determine which of those many presets that are available to choose from, that are offered when you
start a new project, is the right one?
I seem to remember someone telling me once that if you just hit the "OK" button without selecting anything, the software will assign the
correct preset to the project. I don't know if that is correct or not.

You could also right click on a clip and "Create New Sequence From Clip"

Cant fiquer out how to choose the correct sequence settings for HD

I edit for over 50 shooters whom I never have contact with. I get every possible file format & never the parameters they shot in. In FCP all I had to do was drag the footage to an empty sequence & it would automatically adjust it to the exact sequence parameters. In PP I always get either a yellow bar or red bar on everything I try to edit and the footage in the program window is always very strobey whether I set it for field or frame display. (All DV footage I have no issue with, it's only HD files)
In Premiere CS5 I am finding it frustrating. Is there a program that cam read all the important codec info so at least I can dig for a sutible sequence? I tryed gspot but it doesn't tell much & PP CS5 clip properties doesn't seem to be of much help either.
Am I missing something in my approach?

Footage like DVCPROHD (P2 MXF) and XDCAM EX show no bar in sequences with matching parameters; they'll show yellow lines (hardware MPE) and red lines (software MPE) in non-matching sequences. Footage like DSLR H.264 from a Canon T2i, for example, show yellow bars, even in matching sequences. So, you can't really rely on the yellow bar/red bar as an indicator of footage matching the sequence. Typically, the "drag to New Item" action will generate a sequence that matches your footage, though it might not always use the editing mode that matches the footage (e.g. P2 with P2 media).
Ultimately, knowing a little bit about your footage helps. I like using MediaInfo much more than GSpot for video file snooping; it much more modern, gives more helpful information (in my opinion), and integrates nicely with your operating system (e.g. tool tip popups, right-click "MediaInfo" items).

if your speaker basically not working but not your headphones (or anything else plugged into the headphone jack is) then check the little whole right next to the headphone jack. This is a sensor and can cause this problem if that hole is plugged.
Another thought ... check your mute switch and make sure it is not on. I have seen weird things happen when the switch is on ... certain sounds play but not others.

When I first purchased my phone in January I had an email address of [email protected] but found that the phone and comline weren't talking to each other so I set up email [email protected] and everything worked perfectly -- calendar, e-mail, etc. Last week a message appeared on my phone instructing me to upload new software. My [email protected] for icloud was replaced my the old email address. The account was locked so I went to iforgot.apple, etc and reset it. Then I took the option to change the email and on the computer all looks correct but my phone still has my old e-mail. I've turned it off and on hoping the new info would be loaded but no luck. Any ideas?

I kind of agree with Philly on this one. If you get a new email address, there is no need to establish an entirely new account to use that address. You just need to modify your account to show the new email address. This way all your purchase history and rights to purchased apps stays in place. Creating a new iTunes/Apple account each time your email address changes really doesn't make sense in my opinion. I only point this out for future searchers who end up on this thread.

What is the correct sequence to link 3 Airport Express units in a WDS?

I have 3 AE units set up in a WDS. I currently have unit #1 as a main base. Unit #2 is an extended base station. Unit #3 is a remote base station. I have unit #1 connected to the iMac for the internet on the first floor via an ethernet connection. It is linked to units #2 & 3. Unit #2 is about 60' away on the first floor & linked to unit #3 as a relay. Unit #3 is about 18' below unit #2 in the basement and about 75' from unit #1 & connected to the HP notebook via ethernet. The connections between both computers are fine, thought a bit slow. All three AE units have the audio port active to stream iTunes. Most of the time, the audio is great! However, (and this is the problem....finally) when I am at the HP computer & unit #3, the audio signal drops out for booth units #2 & 3 if I turn as certain way in my chair. I guess when I am in a certain place in the basement, I am blocking the signal (weird....). I also noticed this as well sometimes in the stairwell to the basement. All 3 units have the following wireless settings: Multicast Rate = 1...Interference Robustness = disabled...Transmitter Power = 100%. I have tried the Multicast rate @ 2 & 5.5, with the Interference Robustness enabled and disabled. I didn't notice any significant difference. Would it help to take unit #3 out of the direct link of unit #1? (Let unit #1 link to unit #2 and unit #2 link to unit #3.) Any other helpful hints to try would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Perhaps but probably not.
The fact remains that RF signals can be blocked and redirected. Therefore physically moving things around can affect wireless performance. For more ideas, see KB 58543, AirPort: Potential sources of interference.

How do you play an album in the correct order?

Just bought an ATV. 160GB model, software version 2.3.
I've synched it to my MacBook's iTunes library, and it plays music fine. However, I can't find a way to simply play an album in the correct sequence. If I navigate to an album and open, the only options are to shuffle the songs (which I don't want to do!), or to play one track at a time. I assumed that if I played the 1st track, it would continue to play the rest of the album (as iTunes does on my Macs and PCs), but it just plays the 1st track and stops.
I've looked through all the settings in the ATV, but can't find anything to change this. I hope I'm being stupid, and have missed something really obvious, but at the moment this is doing my head in! Can anyone help??

You assumed correctly, and it should continue to play the rest of the album in order. Does this happen to all your albums. Have you tried restarting the tv.

Tracks ripped with EAC Play alphabetically, when ripped with Media Player Play in the correct or

I just got my new zen touch. I downloaded the new firmware update and it seems to be working great.
The only problem is that when I add music that I've ripped with Exact Audio Copy c/ Lame Encoder to MP3, The tracks don't play in the correct order on my Zen Touch.
When I add an album ripped with Microsoft Media Player, it plays them in the correct order.
I think that the ID3 tags have all the appropriate info becuase when I hold my curser (on the computer) over the eac ripped tracks, the pop up menu list the track #, artist name and song title etc.
I've read the FAQ and it doesn't matter if I select Album-Play, Artist-Album-Play. I've tried all combos.
Anybody with experience using EAC? I've looked in the settings and I can't find anything wrong.
Is it possible that EAC is using and ID3 Format that my computer recognizes but my zen touch doesnt.
But Media Player uses an ID3 format that it does recognize.
Also, The album ripped with media player was ripped to WMA. While all the tracks ripped with EAC that are giving me trouble were ripped to MP3.

What software are you using to copy? Make sure both that and the drivers are completely up-to-date.

Why can't I play my Album slideshow?

I recently upgraded to iPhoto '11 v9.5 on my new MacBook Pro laptop. Following the upgrade I can no longer play my complete slideshows that I created in "Albums"? Instead the initial photo is loaded and is then repeatedly loaded - the remainder of the photo's, which are clearly visible and in the correct sequence, are ignored? I didn't have this problem prior to the upgrade! How can I make all the photo's play when I select the "Slideshow" button? Very frustrating! Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, reset its preferences and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.
