Playing Annoucement to called party before conference call starts

Hi,
I have an interesting requirement here.
My customer wants to play annoucement to the participants of adhoc and meet me conference before bridging them in call. The announcement would be something like this "This call will be recorded, press 1 if you want to join the conference press 0 to hang up". If caller presses '1' then the he should be bridged.
Is it possible to use IVR server for this??
For the adhoc conference this is what I thought:
The conference initiator calls an a number to initiate IVR Script, the script asks him to enter the number to be called(conference participant's number), then the IVR script places call on this number(use "place call function"), once the recipient answers the call, IVR will announce the prompt to him "This call will be recorded, press 1 if you want to join the conference press 0 to hang up".
Questions:
1.Now how to merge this call with the conference initiator call(as conference call) if recipient presses 1??
2.What treatment can be given to the conference call initiator, for the suration when IVR is placing call out? Can we give him some hold music??
2.Is there any better way? Can I use "Call Consult Transfer" function instead of place "call function"??
3.Will it be easier/possible to use Unity instead of IVR server for this?
4.How can the same be done for meetme conference??

yes that works to use the new contact which set by 'set contact info' step.
So now I am able to play prompt to called number after the call been connected.
But I found I couldn't collect entered digit by Called person if I use Menu step.
For instance, if I use 'Menu' to collect the digit from Called person, then when enter '1', redirect the original (or this new) call flow to reception.
My sub steps within Menu step (using new contact session) seems no working.
Any thoughts?
General idea is: I can use IVR to place outbound calls, play prompts, then collect digits from called party and make sub call flows decision.

There is no setting for that on the phone. Some carriers provide ringback tones, which play instead of the caller hearing a ring. But I am not aware of an app that would play a message prior to you picking up the phone. The amount of time before you pick up is not a constant, and if it lasts too long, then the call would go to voicemail.

with IPCCX 5.0(IPIVR)- Prem License, is it possible to play a prompt by the IVR to the called party, after the IVR makes call to an external number and the call is connected?
If yes, how?which function is to be used?

The definition assumes it is an incoming call to IPCC not an "Place call" step, where the roles are reversed.
Yes, my logic was something like:
inboud call arrives
script looks thru DB for scheduled phone numbers to handle the call
IPCC places call to selected number
Menu is played to the called party to either access or reject the call
if call is accepted it is dropped and the original call is redirected to this number.
So, as you can see menu prompt was played to the called party.

Ring tone continues to play after missed call

When i got a missed call, the ring tone continues to play after missed call. tried to change the ring tone from song to default ring tone available in the os but the problem remains the same.
I had the latest 10.2.0.249 OS

I recommend installing the official version 10.1.0.4181
By now also tell them that these errors will be fixed in the next official update to OS 10.2 is expected to be available soon.
My thinking about the end of October.

How can I get rid of the music that plays when people call me?

I get complaints about the music that plays when people call me. They expect a tone that indicates a ringing phone and get frustrated with the music.
How do i change from the automatic music to a ring tone? Thanks-

I read this OP's post better then I did that other one from this morning.
I am not crazy about those that have ringback tones on their phones. It is a good thing that no one I call has one any more.

I've had my revolution for a few days now and have run into an issue recently. Starting this evening whenever I get a call and answer it, music starts playing over the call. I deleted the track that was misbehaving and now another track plays in the deleted ones abcence. Help

When you mention that music plays over the call, I just want to be clear and ask if you mean music you have downloaded to the phone (songs), or do you mean the ringtone that played when the phone rings?
I have checked my resources and I also wanted to ask if you are using headphones when this happens? Does it happen on every call?
If you are using headphones when this happens, you are able to search the market for a headset blocker. If this is the issue you are having, the download will disable the music from playing when on a call.

Not sure but the possible problem can be that the game developers doesn't support 3GS models, thus the game is not optimized for your model. And the crashes are the result of too complex software for your model. Just my 0.02

Display drivers crashing when a call starts. help!

I've this problem were as soon as a call starts my display drivers stops working, making it so that I can't screen share for example. it doesn't matter if I'm the one making or receiving the call. Anyone know a solution for this? Can post my computer specs if that could be the problem. Otherwise I'm running the latest update of skype, although this has happened before this latest skype update. How can I show an image before my animation starts playing

First of all, great work on making Adobe Edge...! I can see real potential in the use of this program!
I have started to work on an animation which will work as a splash-screen before the users see the actual site. (Yes I know... but the client wants it like this...)
The problem I have now is that the animation plays after a few seconds and that during these seconds it shows the content of the website. Besides that I still find it pretty difficult to actually position the animation the way I want.
I am using a plug-in for wordpress so I might not be in the right place to find help.
I tried fixing this with a pre-loader but this is also too slow. Is there any way I can force the animation to play sooner or to make sure they can't see the content before the animation has played?

For sure,
It's also in my reply above. What I did is add an other div to my website which overlaying the complete content.
Then you add in the animation a line to hide this div before the animation starts playing like so:
So add this to the stage in "CompositionReady" --> jQuery("#div").hide();
This will make sure that the animations hides the div before playing so you will see first only the overlaying div and once the animation is ready to play, this div will hide and the animation will start.

Yes iPhone clips should be fine. To transfer, there should be a share option and under there idvd. Or you could simply export the video and then import into the other.

Possibly something you consented to install with some free program. Or a virus.
Google doesn't pick the name up, are you sure you didn't make a typo? If you're really interested, you could try to find the add-on's files in your profile (see [[Profiles]], then "extensions" folder, then the folder with install.rdf file inside containing the name you see in the add-ons window) and check its source or post it somewhere and try to get someone to look at it.
