Please can some tell me how to play music through airport express and be online through a wireless airport extreme base station at the same time.

Please can some tell me how to play music through airport express and be online through a wireless airport extreme base station at the same time.
AirPort Express Base Station (AX) - iTunes Setup
Either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then using the AirPort Utility in "Manual Setup" mode, make the following changes:
AirPort > Base Station
o Base Station Name: <rename or leave default>
o Base Station Password: <enter desired password>
o Verify Password: <re-enter desired password>
o Remember this password in my keychain: (optional)
o Set time automatically: (unchecked)
AirPort > Wireless
o Wireless Mode: Join a wireless network
o Network Name: <existing AEBSn's wireless network>
o Wireless Security: <select the encryption type of the existing wireless network>
o Wireless Password: <enter the existing wireless network password>
o Verify Password: <re-enter the existing wireless network password>
Music
o Enable AirTunes (checked)
o iTunes Speaker Name: <enter desired speaker name>
o iTunes Speaker Password: (optional)
o Verify Password: (optional)
o Click Update to write the new settings to the AX
In iTunes:
iTunes > Preferences... > Advanced > General
o Look for remote speakers connected with AirTunes (checked)

Playing Music and Video at the same time

I would like to play a song from my music collection and while it's playing, play a video that has no audio on it from the video collection. When I try to do this, one shuts the other off. I switched the behavior from default to showcase, still no luck. Is there perhaps an app available on the appstore that anybody knows of that can play an audio on loop and a video on loop at the same time?

i found a fix for WoW
Open the World of Warcraft folder on your hard drive (Default Folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
- Open the *** folder.
- Open the Config.*** file using a text editor, like WordPad.
Add the following line to the list if it doesn't exist:
SET SoundOutputSystem "x"
Set "x" to be 1 first, if it still occurs bump it to 2 and so on up to 4.
you must restart WoW everytime you change the number.

Pandora is supposed to play in the background. I suspect the solitaire app is trying or has grabbed the net connection. Try a different solitaire game.
Ever wonder why a solitaire app needs access or location services? Hmmm.

Can I watch videos on my iPad and browse at the same time?

I want to watch a Ted talk that I downloaded and browse the internet, but everytime I try to leave iTunes it automatically shuts off what I'm watching. Can this thing seriously not do more than one thing at once? It seems odd. Same thing happens, if I'm watching somethign on YouTube and try to browse the internet in a new window whatever is on YouTube always shuts off.

Yes, that's the way it works. Multi-tasking doesn't extend to separate windows, there is no Desktop for them to be displayed on, no file handling system to keep track of them, etc., etc.
TED has their own app, by the way .... no need to download via iTunes. Still just one thing at a time, so just sayin ....

Manually manage music and syncing at the same time.

As my music is growing larger, but my iPhone's memory isn't. I change to manually manage musics on the phone. When I change details of the song e.g. adding album artist or lyrics. iTunes doesn't sync it for me. Do I have to manually do this by myself like adding and deleting the old ones every time I make a change.
Another question is that, when I make a change to my playlist or making a new playlist on my laptop, there's nothing happening on my iPhone. Is there a way to make it automatically does that on my phone as well? Or do I have only one choice which is to go back to sync the library?

Just make the changes then add the song to the iPhone.
You don't need to first delete it from the iPhone.
FYI: You can autosync.
Create a playlist then sync only that playlist.
Add/delete from that playlist to change what is on the iPhone.
Any changes will get sync'd automatically.

Tap to play slideshow and audio at the same time?

I have an image sequence of people dancing that I've turned into a 12 state MSO. You currently tap to play the sequence. I'd also like a 15 sec. clip of some music to accompany it. Is there any way to get the audio to start playing when the user taps to start the slideshow?

Thanks Bob, yes...that's what I'm running into as well. I'll continue to experiment as well. For reference I'm attaching the first and last screens that have user actions tied to them. The slideshow plays fine, but again I can't get the audio to start when the user taps that first screen.

I bought a new pc, and I would like all of my itunes content on here. I seem to be able to only download one song at a time. How can I get my entire library on my new pc

Just got an iPad air and last night was able to listen to iTunes Radio and play some apps at the same time. Now today a software update, and no go on doing radio and apps at the same time....help!!!

Anytime you open an app that has a persistant sound stream - a movie, a podcast, some games - it will overide the music app's stream. nothiong you can do to change it.

It is perfectly fine to use the phone while charging it.

You are not able to send the music to two different streams, you can use the bluetooth and wireless at the same time but for different tasks.
The best way I have seen for what you are attempting, is to buy a wired splitter and two bluetooth transmitters, and have each transmitter broadcast bluetooth sound to the two different locations.
I have not found any other way except when using itunes on a desktop computer which allows the selection of multiple output destinations.

How do i start video and audio at the same time in ios?
I have tried a lot of different ways but i cant figure it out?
I can get the sound and animation (timeline) to start playing.
There is no problem to start the video and the animation at the same time.
But i cant get both the video and the audio to start playing when i press a button.
It works great in OSX and on windows?
Here is an example:

If the game has sound in it (and possibly even if it doesn't) it may be overriding the Music app and causing it to stop playing - in which case there is nothing that you can do about it.

My SB Audigy 2 card can't use headset and musicamplifier at the same time

Hi, i just bought a SB Audigy 2 [D400] and i have downloaded drivers and programs. I run Windows XP SP2.
The soundcard works fine but it is very very annoying that i physically have to change the jack in the green=line out jack from headset to musicamplifier when i want to use my musicamplifier and change back the jack in the green=line out from musicamplifier to headset when i just want to use the headset/headphones .
In the shop they told my that i can connect both amplifier and headset at the same time and then with creative software control whether there is sound in the headset or in the amplifier. But i can't simple get it work.
I tried to use the green to the amplifier and the headset/speakers in the black (line out 2) and then with creative speaker settings softeware choose headphones but still the ampliefier receive the sound and no sound in the headphones. Why? In fact no matter what configuration i try the headphones doesn't work.
But if i change the jacks so headset is in the green line out then only headset is working and the amplifier doesn't work no matter i put it in sort=line out 2 jack or orange=line out 3 jack.
Can somebody here tell me if it is possible or not to connect both headset and external amplifier and control by software which to play? and how?

If you can have an ASIO compatible music playing system, then it might be possible to have system like you wish when using Creative Audigy 2 card. Since ASIO bypasses Windows Audio System, you can use both 'drivers' (ASIO - WDM/MME/DS) side by side.
Say you want to play a game (using headset /w mic) and someone other like to listen music at the same time. With ASIO capable system you can output your music for example to "center L/R (stereo) channels" and same time output sounds from other source (using MME/DS/WDM drivers) to normal output channel (Front L/R). Only thing is, you need to set your speakersystem to 4 or 6 (depending which other channel you're using) (and for better 'balance' to adjust "angle" on THX console. You get the THX console by installing Audigy 2 Zs software).

If you use ASIO on BeatPort Player you can select L/R individually from the list(s). Same rules as described earlier.
= You can play from 2 different sources simultaoneusly (ASIO + WDM/MME/DS) to two different outputs without disturbance. The other (WDM/MME/DS) source is set 'automatically' output to (Audigy) "green" port, and the other (ASIO) to "black" or "orange" port (as set).

Problem with audio of my notebook. Audio works through pc speakers and earphones at the same time

thanks in advance for your advices.
I have a problem with my notebook (HP pavilion g6 2305 sl).
The problem is that when I connect my earphones the audio of my pc don't stop, hence I can hear (music, film, ...) both by earphones and speakers at the same time.
I tried to install again the latest driver audio, but nothing was changed.
I tried to use another pair of earphones, but nothing.
I have noted that if I connect the Jack at my pc, but not until the end, the audio stops from the speakers and goes through the earphones, but only if the jack is not completly inserted in the notebook.
I read a lot of forum on the web but I'm not able to find a solution for my problem.
(ps. the problem comes out suddenly, without any signal. I don't have installed any update or new software before the problem's start)

Right click on speaker icon, lower right screen.
Choose playback devices.
Select "speakers and headphones" as your default.
Disable "communications headphones".
