Playing Music and Video at the same time

I would like to play a song from my music collection and while it's playing, play a video that has no audio on it from the video collection. When I try to do this, one shuts the other off. I switched the behavior from default to showcase, still no luck. Is there perhaps an app available on the appstore that anybody knows of that can play an audio on loop and a video on loop at the same time?

i found a fix for WoW
Open the World of Warcraft folder on your hard drive (Default Folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
- Open the *** folder.
- Open the Config.*** file using a text editor, like WordPad.
Add the following line to the list if it doesn't exist:
SET SoundOutputSystem "x"
Set "x" to be 1 first, if it still occurs bump it to 2 and so on up to 4.
you must restart WoW everytime you change the number.

AirPort Express Base Station (AX) - iTunes Setup
Either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then using the AirPort Utility in "Manual Setup" mode, make the following changes:
AirPort > Base Station
o Base Station Name: <rename or leave default>
o Base Station Password: <enter desired password>
o Verify Password: <re-enter desired password>
o Remember this password in my keychain: (optional)
o Set time automatically: (unchecked)
AirPort > Wireless
o Wireless Mode: Join a wireless network
o Network Name: <existing AEBSn's wireless network>
o Wireless Security: <select the encryption type of the existing wireless network>
o Wireless Password: <enter the existing wireless network password>
o Verify Password: <re-enter the existing wireless network password>
Music
o Enable AirTunes (checked)
o iTunes Speaker Name: <enter desired speaker name>
o iTunes Speaker Password: (optional)
o Verify Password: (optional)
o Click Update to write the new settings to the AX
In iTunes:
iTunes > Preferences... > Advanced > General
o Look for remote speakers connected with AirTunes (checked)

Pandora is supposed to play in the background. I suspect the solitaire app is trying or has grabbed the net connection. Try a different solitaire game.
Ever wonder why a solitaire app needs access or location services? Hmmm.

iPod deletes all music and videos, I synced it with iTunes, but after some time it deletes again.

To stop this, don't use the same Apple ID on both phones for iMessage and FaceTime. (You can continue to use the same ID for iTunes; it doesn't need to be the same as the ID used for iMessage or FaceTime.)
On one of the phones, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Razor blade tool not cutting audio and video at the same time

Hiya,
When using the razor blade tool in a timeline, my razor only cuts the video track, or one audio track at a time. The audio and video were imported together.
I would like for the video and two audio tracks to be cut at the same time--so that when I'm cutting I don't have to click three times (VA1A2).
What needs changed to do this? Thank you!!!!
A little annoying -- but would be a time saver. Never had this problem before FCS2.

Are the video and audio clips linked? If they're not, the cut will only apply to the track under the blade tool.

No sound when playing music and video on the new iphone 3gs (32gb)

I have a problem with no sound when playing music or watching video both on the ipod part of the phone and when watching youtube videos, all other sounds are working fine on the phone(eg Apps, phone calls/rings and system sounds. If i reset the phone everything apears to work fine again for the first minute or so but when i stop a video or tune for a second and try going back to it, the sound is gone again. All settings are fine. Anyone having the same problem or any idea how to fix it?

You could try either a Backup Restore or a Clean Restore. I usually do a CR with MobileMe as the restore source. Afterwards I reload the music, videos and apps.
It could be a sound playing bug like the Bluetooth bug that bites me now and then (audio stops and goes once in a while, audio gaps in the video if the video is paused, and videos recorded have the audio very quiet).

Manually manage music and syncing at the same time.

As my music is growing larger, but my iPhone's memory isn't. I change to manually manage musics on the phone. When I change details of the song e.g. adding album artist or lyrics. iTunes doesn't sync it for me. Do I have to manually do this by myself like adding and deleting the old ones every time I make a change.
Another question is that, when I make a change to my playlist or making a new playlist on my laptop, there's nothing happening on my iPhone. Is there a way to make it automatically does that on my phone as well? Or do I have only one choice which is to go back to sync the library?

Just make the changes then add the song to the iPhone.
You don't need to first delete it from the iPhone.
FYI: You can autosync.
Create a playlist then sync only that playlist.
Add/delete from that playlist to change what is on the iPhone.
Any changes will get sync'd automatically.

Tap to play slideshow and audio at the same time?

I have an image sequence of people dancing that I've turned into a 12 state MSO. You currently tap to play the sequence. I'd also like a 15 sec. clip of some music to accompany it. Is there any way to get the audio to start playing when the user taps to start the slideshow?

Thanks Bob, yes...that's what I'm running into as well. I'll continue to experiment as well. For reference I'm attaching the first and last screens that have user actions tied to them. The slideshow plays fine, but again I can't get the audio to start when the user taps that first screen.

When using a new pc, how do you download all of your music and playlists at the same time?

I bought a new pc, and I would like all of my itunes content on here. I seem to be able to only download one song at a time. How can I get my entire library on my new pc

Edit video and audio at the same time

Is it possible when I remove some of the audio to also remove the same amount of that time from the video?

We did record both the audio and video at the same time in Captivate 8.
The question is: how do we edit the audio and video at the same time?
If I want to cut out 5 seconds of audio can I or will the software cut out that same portion of the video and if so how do we do it?
Do we need to create a Demo or Software Simulation to be able to take advantage of this tool for cutting both together.
Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Loading and Playing 2 videos at the same time

Hello everyone
I'm having a problem on loading and playing two videos at the same time on XletView.
The background video, I'm loading by editing channels.xml that is located at config folder into xletview folder. I've just to add the file path and when i start the video it starts playing.
But now, I have a problem. I have to load a file that is into my HD, and play it at the same time of the main(background) video.
Do anyone know how to do this?

I have tried a lot of different ways but i cant figure it out?
I can get the sound and animation (timeline) to start playing.
There is no problem to start the video and the animation at the same time.
But i cant get both the video and the audio to start playing when i press a button.
It works great in OSX and on windows?
Here is an example:

If the game has sound in it (and possibly even if it doesn't) it may be overriding the Music app and causing it to stop playing - in which case there is nothing that you can do about it.

Can I watch video through my iPhone and TV at the same time while using the Apple composite video cables? I am planning a trip in my car and would like to play videos for my kids through their video screen while my wife watches on the iphone from the passenger seat. It doesn't work that way, sorry. When video out is being utilized, only the movie artwork (the cover or image) is displayed, and the actual movie is not displayed on the iPhone's screen.

Just got an iPad air and last night was able to listen to iTunes Radio and play some apps at the same time. Now today a software update, and no go on doing radio and apps at the same time....help!!!

Anytime you open an app that has a persistant sound stream - a movie, a podcast, some games - it will overide the music app's stream. nothiong you can do to change it.
